The application of effective methodological strategies based on the theory of multiple intelligences is the fundamental objective of research to determine and verify the potential of students at different levels of learning, according to academic tasks and activities, both theoretically and practically. The type of research is argumentative, with scientific strategies developed by various authors. It was necessary to apply analytical, synthetic, comparative methods and a bibliographic review in information sources, through documents, scientific articles, journals, among other research instruments, to identify different teaching-learning models of a pedagogical and educational nature. high impact, in addition to methodological strategies that allowed to argue the theoretical basis of the authors, the systematic they proposed, for which each of their arguments and explanations were analyzed. The different types of skills were compared through the comparative method to contrast each of the methodologies and strategies exposed by the researchers, highlighting what is based on each of them and how they differ from one to the other, as well as the advantages and disadvantages possessed by each of the models taken, generating a cluster of ideas that continued to choose the best methodological strategy to apply in the classroom.

ESL teachers are caught between two diverging socio-psychological modes of existence. On the one side, the inherent artificiality of teaching-learning a second or foreign language in a formal classroom forces them to helplessly look for meaningful activities in the class, so that learners can be motivated and get engaged in the processes of socializing the target language. On the other side, the administrative compulsions and the parental pressure force them to forget ‘the learner’ and focus on ‘teaching’. In unguarded moments, any average ESL teacher may reflect on the past classroom performances of years and may feel dissatisfied. This paper tries to make use of the pedagogic construct of teacher intervention following the guidelines offered by Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences and Abraham Maslow’s psychological theory of the need of self- actualization. As part of an informal longitudinal study, the researcher has tried to explore the rich resources of the first language in enhancing second language communication skills.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the advantages and needs of integrating various intelligence theories in the process of teaching and learning Moral Education in a more practical way. Smart individuals become human capital for the economic and social development of the country. However, efforts to highlight or expose the various intelligence available to students are still not given much attention by teachers. Identifying various aspects of student intelligence is still a challenge for teachers who implement the teaching and facilitation process in the Moral Education classroom. Moral Education teachers face problems to help students reach their maximum potential because of the unique and varied learning needs of students. In this regard, the theory of multiple intelligences is thought to be able to be a theoretical framework to define, understand, develop and assess the various intelligences that students have. This study uses a qualitative approach with text analysis design and document review. Therefore, this paper is structured into three parts. The first part is a discussion of the Moral Education curriculum in Malaysia, and issues in teaching pedagogy. The second part is a discussion of the theory of multiple intelligences and the Flow theory that supports it and the third part is the integration of the theory of multiple intelligences in the Daily Teaching Plan for one unit of teaching in the Moral Education class . This paper demonstrates the importance of the concept of integrating the theory of multiple intelligences in the teaching and learning of Moral Education. This article also proposes a framework for the preparation of Daily Teaching Plan for a teaching unit as a guide for Moral Education teachers. The article addresses the issue of preliminary translation as part of the translation process. Though the review of scientific discussion in the area shows substantial research of text analysis, its application in teaching practice still remains unclear. Particularly, it concerns the format and effectiveness of different methods. The article describes an integrated model of text analysis, which is based on textological and intercultural approaches and uses different tools for analyzing the text. The model is tested in the practice of teaching translation at the university by the use of questionnaires, a protocol method, and a comparative method. The study of the results proves the efficiency and flexibility of the model in reference to different types of texts. It can be used for different levels of translation training. The application of the integrated text analysis provides a better understanding of the text contents and better equivalency. It also diminishes mistakes in translation. The model of integrated text analysis is a useful tool for educators in linguistic area.

This essay investigated how the plurality of teaching methodologies proposed by Laburú e Carvalho (2001) can contribute to the development of different types of intelligence in high school students. A bibliographical review was done on the theory of multiple intelligences by Howard Gardner and about the methodological pluralism with the goal of developing a democratic learning unit that would stimulate many types of intelligence and that would involve the biggest amount of students possible. The data was collected through the audio taping of classes, the observation of participants and a questionnaire done at the end of the unit. To do the analysis of the data, the Discursive Textual Analysis proposed by Moraes and Galiazzi (2007) was chosen. The intelligence spectrum was defined as a priori categories. It was observed that some methodologies stimulate a range of intelligences that was not initially expected. Besides that, practical activities in groups demonstrated to be the best way to stimulate multiple intelligences. At last, the manifestation of eight intelligences during the research were verified, a fact that was only possible due to the diverse methodologies used.

This paper traces the Arabic origins or cognates of the “definite articles” in English and Indo-European languages from a radical linguistic (or lexical root) theory perspective. The data comprises the definite articles in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian, Latin, Greek, Macedonian, Russian, Polish, Sanskrit, Hindi, Bengali, Persian, and Arabic. The results clearly indicate that five different types of such articles emerged in the data, all of which have true Arabic cognates with the same or similar forms and meanings, whose differences are due to natural and plausible causes and different routes of linguistic change, especially lexical, semantic, or morphological shift. Therefore, the results support the adequacy of the radical linguistic theory according to which, unlike the Family Tree Model or Comparative Method, Arabic, English, German, French, Latin, Greek, and Sanskrit not only belong to the same language family, renamed Eurabian or Urban family, but also are dialects of the same language, with Arabic being their origin all because only it shares the whole cognates with them all and because it has a huge phonetic, morphological, grammatical, and lexical variety. They also manifest fundamental flaws and grave drawbacks which plague English and Indo-European lexicography for ignoring Arabic as an ultimate ancestor and progenitor not only in the treatment of the topic at hand but in all others in general. On a more general level, they also show that there is a radical language from which all human languages stemmed and which has been preserved almost intact in Arabic, thus being the most conservative and productive language

Abstract In failure analysis of wafer fabrication, currently, three different types of chemical methods including 6:6:1 (Acetic Acid/HNO3/HF), NaOH and Choline are used in removing polysilicon (poly) layer and exposing the gate/tunnel oxide underneath. However, usage is limited due to their disadvantages. For example, 6:6:1 is a relatively fast etchant, but it is difficult to control the etch time and keep the oxide layer intact. Also, while using NaOH to remove poly and expose the silicon oxide, the solution needs to be heated. It is also difficult to etch a poly layer with a WSix or a CoSix silicide using NaOH. In this paper, we will discuss these 3 etchants in terms of their advantages and disadvantages. We will then introduce a new poly etchant, called HB91. HB91 is useful for removing poly to expose the gate/tunnel oxide for identification of related defects. HB91 is actually a mixture of two chemicals namely nitric acid (HNO3) and buffer oxide etchant (BOE) in a 9:1 ratio. The experimental results show that it is highly selective in poly removal with respect to the gate/tunnel oxide and is a suitable poly etchant especially for removing polysilicon with/without WSix and CoSix in the large capacitor structure. Application results of this poly etchant (HB91) will be presented.

Ukraine is a unitary state, yet historically various regions, oblasts, districts, and local areas have different levels of economic development. To secure sustainable economic and social development and provide social services guaranteed by the state for each citizen according to the Constitution, the mechanism of redistribution between revenues and expenditures of oblasts, regions, and territories through the budgets of a higher level is used. The paper aims to research the peculiarities of improving interbudgetary relations in conditions of authorities’ decentralization. The paper defines the nature of interbudgetary relations. The basic and reverse subsidies to Ukraine and Lvivska oblast are analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages the communities face at changing approaches to balancing local budgets are determined. Regulative documents that cover the interbudgetary relations in Ukraine are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the problem of local finances reforming, including the development of interbudgetary relations. The scheme of the economic interbudgetary relations system in Ukraine is developed. The ways to improve the system of interbudgetary relations in Ukraine are suggested. The negative and positive aspects, advantages, and disadvantages of the system of interbudgetary relations in Ukraine require the following improvements. 1. It is necessary to avoid the complete budget alignment in the process of budgets balancing by interbudgetary transfers as the major objective. 2. The interbudgetary transfers should be distributed based on a formal approach. 3. The changes have to be introduced to the calculation of medical and educational subsidies in terms of financial standard of budget provision to avoid the money deficit for coverage of necessary expenditures. 4. There is a need to improve interbudgetary relations at the levels of districts, villages, towns, and cities of district subordination. 5. Improvement of the mechanism of targeted benefits provision, their real evaluation, and control for the use of funds.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to advance the understanding of factors that affect offshoring performance results. To do so, this paper focuses on the access to location-specific advantages, rather than solely on the properties of the offshoring company, its strategy or environment. Assuming that different levels of synergy may exist between particular offshoring strategic decisions (choosing offshore outsourcing or captive offshoring and the type of function) and different offshoring advantages, this work advocates that the actual fact of realization of certain offshoring advantages (getting or not getting access to them) is a more reliable predictor of offshoring success. Design/methodology/approach – A set of hypotheses derived from the extant literature is tested on the data from a quantitative survey of 1,143 Scandinavian firms. Findings – The paper demonstrates that different governance modes and types of offshored function indeed provide different levels of access to different types of location-specific offshoring advantages. This difference may help to explain the ambiguity of offshoring initiatives performance results. Research limitations/implications – Limitations of the work include using only the offshoring strategy elements and only their limited variety as factors potentially influencing access to offshoring advantages. Also, the findings are limited to Scandinavian companies. Originality/value – The paper introduces a new concept of access, which can help to more reliably predict performance outcomes of offshoring initiatives. Recommendations are also provided to practitioners dealing with offshoring initiatives.
