This study aimed to develop Makassarese language learning materials based on character building concept for elementary schools, particularly the 5th grade students in Makassar city. This research started from researchers concern on the Makassarese language which is one of the local languages in South Sulawesi province, Indonesia. Although, this language is still used by native speakers, but if it is not followed by preservation, it has the potential to be abandoned by its speakers and extinct. The Indonesian government has a program called “Indonesia Emas 2045” to realize the period when elementary school students take important role in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to preserve local languages on the one side and character building on the other side. So this research is designed to synergize both. The mix method was used in this research. Development stages of learning materials refers to research and development stages by Borg and Gall then collaborated with the research phase by Brown. This research resulted learning model and learning material of Makassarese language based on character building concept with 8 that are extracted from 18 character values (character building concept) by the Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia.

Thisstudyaims toimprove poetry writing skills with acrostic techniques in elementary school students. This research is descriptive qualitative. This type of research is a class action research (Class Action Research). The research carried out consisted of two cycles, each cycle being carried out three times.TheThe research procedure includes planning, implementing the action, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were 34 grade V elementary school students. After carrying out the research in the first cycle 21 of 34 students got a score of 72.35 who got a "low" qualification. After that, the second cycle of research was carried out, 33 students got an average score of 80 in the "High" qualification. Based on the results of the research in the first and second cycles it proves that the application of acrostic techniques in learning to write poetry in fifth grade elementary school students is very appropriate because the application of these techniques can improve student learning outcomes in writing poetry for the better.

It was probably not a unique experience, but it sure was fun, and more important, fifteen elementary school teachers improved their skills for teaching mathematics and did away with some anxiety about the subject. While they were about it, these teachers also increased the achievement in mathematics of forty-five elementary school students and showed them that mathematics can be a lot of fun.

The achievement of Mathematics contestants from the City of Makassar is very concerning. In March 2018 elementary school mathematics competition was held. Of the 186 participants from Makassar, there were only 56 students who got scores above zero. Only about 30%. Other students get zero or less than zero (negative). There was a decrease in interest and achievement in Mathematics in elementary school students in Makassar. The solution offered was training for Mathematics Elementary School teachers by emphasizing learning method with playing. This is intended so that children have enjoyed Mathematics from the beginning so that in the future the interest in learning Mathematics will be even greater.

This research aims to examine whether Problem Based Learning approach is able to increase the creativity of fourth grade elementary school students.? (2) How to improve the process of student creativity through problem based learning in grade IV elementary school students?. This is a qualitative research in a Classroom Action Research (CAR) type. This research was conducted on the four grade learners at Public Elementary School Bogor city, West Java Province. The result shows that: First, learning outcomes or conceptual understanding on the use of natural resources in Indonesia, for Fourth grade, semester II before applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model in Social Science Subjects (IPS) is still low. Second, the application of the PBL Model in point one is carried out in two cycles. Third, Student learning outcomes in point one after implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model were proven to increase the students’ creativity in social studies learning, for example in cycle I, the average student learning outcomes were 68, then in Cycle II it increased to 78. We developed the AED enlightenment animation DVD (the AED Animation) as a readable and friendly educational material for learning cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and AED by citizens. The aim of the present study was to investigate how well did schoolchildren understand the contents of the AED Animation, and how the AED Animation has educational and ripple effects to schoolchildren. [Methods] Prior to the investigation of schoolchildren, 28 elementary school teachers watched the AED Animation and answered a questionnaire to see if the AED animation arouse schoolchildren, and to evaluate its psychological and educational impacts. Then in fourth, fifthand sixth grades elementary school students (total of 1189) watched the AED Animation and answered questionnaire-based survey. [Results] 94 percent of the students answered “ the AED Animation is good for me”, 80 percent of them wanted to be able to do CPR and use AED as the characters of the AED Animation did, and 67 percent of them wanted there parents to watch the AED Animation. [Conclusions] The AED Animation is a good educational material for schoolchildren that raises interest in AED/CPR, and its educational effects was more than elementary school teachers expected.

Low-grade students still have difficulty in writing. Writing delays can hinder the learning process. This study aimed to develop writing learning video products for first-grade elementary school students whose validity has been tested. This research refers to the ADDIE development model procedure. However, this study did not implement and evaluate stages due to limited time, effort, resources, and finance. The subjects of this study were two material experts, two media experts, and two practitioners. The object of this research is the validity of the writing learning video. The data collection of this research used a questionnaire method by providing assessment sheets to two media expert lecturers, two material expert lecturers, and two first-grade elementary school teachers. The data from the validation results from the experts were then analyzed using the mean formula to determine the average validity score of the writing learning videos. The analysis results showed that the average validation score for writing learning videos is 4.44 with very good criteria. The average score of validation for writing learning video materials is 4.06 with very good criteria. Based on the analysis results, the writing learning video for first-grade students of SD was declared valid and had very good criteria.

The purposed of this research is to get the design of siputmatika and the design of learning trajectory of mathematics for rotary symmetry material. Siputmatika is a device that can help students to construct rotary symmetry. This device can be modified by elementary school students to build the concept, prove and be a tool in making learning trajectory of rotary symmetry. This research is a design research with pre eliminary design as the first stage. The literature review and study of concepts and appropriate media are used to design siputmatika. The result of this research is the design of learning trajectory for rotary symmetry material. Hypothetical learning trajectory is expected to be a tool and signs for the elementary school teachers in conducting learning process to help students construct their own concept of rotary symmetry using siputmatika.
