The purpose of this study is to find out the differences in students’ activity and academic achievement on the implementation of character-based Competence Based Training (CBT) learning model. The research used two groups Quasi Experimental Design. Samples were taken by cluster sampling, in which one class of bachelor degree students was used as control group and one class of diploma degree students as experimental group. Data were collected using observation technique with instruments of attitude, behavior and products. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis with t-test. Result shows that there are differences in students' learning activities and academic achievement on Milling Machining practice using character-based CBT, in which the learning activity and achievement of the experimental class are better than the control class.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perbedaan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa antara kelas yang menerapkan model pembelajaran CBT berbasis karakter dengan kelas yang tidak menerapkan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain Quasi Experimental Design dua kelompok. Sampel penelitian diambil secara Cluster Sampling, yaitu untuk program S1 diambil 1 kelas sebagai kelas kontrol dan program D3 diambil 1 kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dengan instrumen sikap, perilaku dan produk. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran praktik Pemesinan Frais melalui penerapan model pembelajaran CBT berbasis karakter, dimana aktivitas belajar mahasiswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. Terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran praktik Pemesinan Frais melalui penerapan model pembelajaran CBT berbasis karakter, dimana prestasi belajar pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dengan penerapan pembelajaran jigsaw berbantuan media puzzle pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa di Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SD kelas V di SD Inpres Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 50 orang siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan masing-masing kelompok terdiri atas 25 orang siswa SD Inpres Galangan Kapal II dan 25 orang siswa SD Inpres Galangan Kapal IV Kota Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar dalam penerapan pembelajaran jigsaw berbantuan media Puzzle pada mata pelajaran IPS terhadap siswa di Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar sebesar 92%. Kegiatan pembelajaran dengan penerapan model pembelajaran jigsaw,  selain dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi pelajaran juga dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana untuk memupuk rasa persatuan, memperlancar komunikasi, membentuk sifat yang tidak egois, dan memupuk rasa tanggung jawab siswa baik dalam kelompok maupun individual. The objective of this research is to know the improvement of learning outcomes using the application of jigsaw learning model by puzzle media in social studies of the students in Tallo District, Makassar City. This study is quasi experimental research. The data collection instrument used observation and test. The data analysis technique used  quantitative descriptive analysis. The population in this study were fourth grade elementary school students at Inpres Elementary Schools, Tallo District, Makassar City. The sample of this study is 50 students who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group with each group consisting of 25 students of SD Inpres Galangan Kapal II and 25 students of SD Inpres Galangan Kapal IV Makassar City. The result showed that there was the improvement in learning activities and outcomes using the application of jigsaw learning model by puzzle media in social science of the students in Tallo District, Makassar City  which was 92%. The learning activities using the application of  learning model of jigsaw can improve the students' understanding of learning materials. It can also be used as a mean to increase unity, facilitate communication, forming an unselfish nature, and increase the students' responsibility both in group and individual.

Keterampilan motorik kasar dan halus anak pada pembelajaran di TK Al Kautsar Indralaya Ogan Ilir sebagai fokus penelitian bertolak dari kenyataan di lapangan bahwa proses pembelajaran di TK tersebut belum tergarap secara bersamaan. Proses pembelajaran hanya terkonsetrasi pada aspek kognitif, bahkan keterampilan tersebut belum maksimal dicapai oleh anak. Akibatnya, di satu sisi kurang terampil dalam kegiatan motorik kasar dan halus. Maka diperlukan pendekatan saintifik alternatif yang dapat menyetuh pencapaian aspek keterampilan motorik kasar maupun motorik halus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan motorik kasar dan halus anak antara kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol baik sebelum maupun setelah proses pembelajaran anak di TK Al Kautsra Indralaya Ogan Ilir untuk mewujudkan tujuan penelitian tersebut digunakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Dalam pelaksanaannya treatment yakni Penerapan Pendekata Saintifik, diberikan kepada anak kelas eksperimen dan anak kelas kontrol menerapkan metode konvensional. Penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Cluster Sampling yang menetapkan kelas jedah sebagai eksperimen dan kelas mekah sebagai kelas kontrol untuk memperoleh data penelitian, penelitian menggunakan teknik tes sikap, observasi, dokumentasi, cek klis dan wawancara sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t Independent-Sample  T test dan uji Man-Whitney dengan Program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). Penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan motorik kasar dan motorik halus anak kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebelum proses pembelajaran dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan motorik kasar dan motorik halus anak kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol setelah proses pembelajaran.

The problem of this research is whether the application of cooperative learning method is effective in reducing student’s anxiety in learning Math at grade VII at the topic of round numbers. The objective of the research is to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning in reducing student’s anxiety in learning Math at the topic of round numbers at grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Baubau. This research is descriptive quantitative by applying quasi experimental design. The sample taken consisted of 54 students which is each group consisted of 27 students. The instrument used in this research is test. The result of the research show that (1)The mean score of students learning in Math in experimental group before treatment is 56,48 with standard of deviation is 18,65 and after treatment is 83,70 with standard of deviation is 15,54. (2)The mean score of students learning in Math in control group before treatment is 56,67 with standard of deviation is 17,26 and after treatment is 73,51 with standard of deviation is 17,58. (3)Based on the mean score of students result in learning who is taught through those model of learning and seeing the result of statistic inferential of t test shows that learning through cooperative learning method is more effective to reduce students anxiety in learning Math.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan star run terhadap peningkatan kecepatan dan kelincahan pada siswa pesetra ekstrakurikuler sepakbola SMP Negeri 2 Pupuan tahun 2016. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan “The non-randomized control group pretest posttest design”. Subyek penelitian ini siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler sepakbola SMP Negeri 2 Pupuan dengan jumlah 38 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan tes lari cepat (sprint) dengan jarak 50 meter untuk kecepatan dan Illinois agility run untuk kelincahan. Data dianalisis dengan uji-t independent pada taraf signifikansi () 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t independent untuk kecepatan diperoleh nilai signifikansi (0,000) dan untuk kelincahan diperoleh nilai signifikansi (0,000) semua data lebih kecil dari nilai α (Sig < 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan star run berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kecepatan dan kelincahan pada siswa peserta ekstrakurikuler sepakbola SMP Negeri 2 Pupuan tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Bagi para pelaku olahraga, disarankan untuk menggunakan pelatihan star run sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jsmani khususnya kecepatan dan kelincahan. This research is a quasi-experimental study that aims to determine the effect of interactive video-assisted Blended Learning models on mathematical problem solving abilities. This research was conducted at SMPN 13 Serang City class VIII. The population in this study consisted of 10 classes VIII and taken 2 classes to be sampled. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. The Blended Learning model used in this study isconventional learning in class by involving online resources and online activities which are not a requirement for students to follow. While the video used is a video adopted from one of the paid online learning rooms, Ruang Guru. Problem solving ability is measured using a test in the form of a valid and reliable question description. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis.

The quest for better strategies in teaching is a never-ending process. This scenario is heightened more by the myriad online instructional materials fit for classroom use. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of video lecture materials for statistics proficiency of first year students of Davao Doctors College.The researchers employed quasi-experimental design that involved purposively chosen 31 students for the control group and 26 students for the experimental group. The control group received traditional instruction while the experimental group utilized video lecture materials as the instructional tool. The questionnaire consisted 50 multiple choice items and established a reliability index of .82. This investigation used t-test analysis to establish the same level of statistics proficiency among the students before the conduct of the study. The study concluded that both learning strategies were effective in teaching students the basic concepts of statistics as indicated by the significant improvement of their pre-test to posttest scores. Although the posttest results of the students who were taught using video lecture materials were higher than those supervised using lecture method, the significance of this difference was never established. This study aims to determine the comparison of students 'mathematical representation ability through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model and the students' mathematical representation ability through the conventional model. The PjBL model is a student-centered, innovative, project-based learning model and positioned teachers as effective facilitators in the contextual learning related to real life situation. This research employed quasi-experimental design. The research applied the posttest only non-equivalent control group design through randomized cluster sampling. The data collection technique used was test. The instrument used to collect the data was the essay test. Data analysis was conducted using independent sample t-test. The result of the data calculation through the Independent-Sample T-Test test obtained the significance level of 0.913 means that the students’ mathematical representation ability was better after the learning through Project Based Learning (PjBL) model was conducted compared to the students' mathematical representation ability through a conventional model. This means that the PjBL model is more influential on students' mathematical representation ability.

The study aims to develop mobile exercises through games to strengthen students’ creative thinking. To achieve the goal of learning a sports and health subject, teachers may use optional teaching methods. It is carried out using an experimental research and development project called The Postest-Only Control Group Design. When analyzing the quality of the learning process, a quantitative descriptive analysis technique based on Formative Class Evaluation (FCE) questionnaires are used. The implementation rate for all indicators was found to be 89%. The small group shows a probability index of less than 0.05% or 0.000 and an FCE index of 89.35%. The large group reveals 0.000 and the FCE category is 85.26%. It is necessary to research developing the activity of learning the movements performed by games to strengthen creative thinking, another influence on the creative thinking of students from both the product test group and the control group is the transfer of exercises through games. Based on FCE, it shows that learning quality is important for employment, and according to experts, the entire product design is also important to apply.

 Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan model Learning Cycle 7E pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup di SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental design, yaitu dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design, pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 8 dan SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh. Instrument penelitian menggunakan tes soal pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 30 butir dan angket motivasi belajar peserta didik. Analisis data perbedaan hasil belajar kelas kontrol dan eksperimen menggunakan uji idependent sampel t-test dan uji Mann Whitney pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Angket motivasi peserta didik dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa motivasi belajar kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berbeda secara signifikan dengan perolehan nilai Zhitung 3,211 >Ztabel 1,96. Hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kontrol juga berbeda secara signifikan dengan perolehan nilai (thitung 8,06>ttabel 1,99). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar belajar peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol peserta didik di SMP N 8 dan SMP N 18 Banda Aceh. Kata kunci: Learning Cycle 7E, Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Interaksi Makhluk Hidup

One ability that students must master is problem solving. Increasing students’ problem-solving ability will improve their mindset. The alternative used to increase students’ problem-solving ability is applying Problem Based Learning model. This study aims to understand the presence or absence of the application of the model of the application of Problem Based Learning to the problem solving of students of class VII PGRI (Equated) Sungguminasa. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design of the Control Posttest Group. The population in this study in all VII class SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa and selected class VII A as an experimental class with consultations with the Problem Based Learning model and class VII C as a control class with training in direct learning models involving the community. The technique of collecting data in this study is the test then analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using the t test (Independent Sample t-test). Based on the results of the study concluded that the Problem Based Learning model determines the problem-solving abilities of students of class VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa.AbstrakSalah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa adalah pemecahan masalah. Meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah akan berpengaruh pada peningkatan mindset siswa. Salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemapuan pemecahan masalah siswa adalah dengan mengaplikasikan model Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain Control Group Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa dan terpilih kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan perlakuan model Problem Based Learning dan kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran langsung yang mewakili populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes kemudian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji t (Independent Sample t-test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI (Disamakan) Sungguminasa.
