This study aims to determine the comparison of students 'mathematical representation ability through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model and the students' mathematical representation ability through the conventional model. The PjBL model is a student-centered, innovative, project-based learning model and positioned teachers as effective facilitators in the contextual learning related to real life situation. This research employed quasi-experimental design. The research applied the posttest only non-equivalent control group design through randomized cluster sampling. The data collection technique used was test. The instrument used to collect the data was the essay test. Data analysis was conducted using independent sample t-test. The result of the data calculation through the Independent-Sample T-Test test obtained the significance level of 0.913 means that the students’ mathematical representation ability was better after the learning through Project Based Learning (PjBL) model was conducted compared to the students' mathematical representation ability through a conventional model. This means that the PjBL model is more influential on students' mathematical representation ability.

The aim of this study was to determine the influence of Project Based Learning on creative thinking skills of student on colloid concept. The method used in this study was quasi experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was second semester students of SMAN 5 in Bekasi of Academic Years 2014/2015. Samples are class XI MIA-4 as the experimental class (given treatment by project-based learning model), and class MIA XI-2 as the control class (given treatment by lecture method). Data collection techniques were gained through an essay test instrument. Data value of the average pretest-posttest control group and experimental group were analyzed using t-test. The average of pretest score for control class is 19.89 and experiment class is 18.11, while the average of postest score of control class is 24.5 and experimental class is 29.35. The t-test result showed that tcount (7.35) was greater than ttable (2.0049) with significance level 5%, so the research hypothesis which states that there are significant influence of project-based learning to the creative thinking skills of students on colloid concept are accepted. In order to obtain the greatest number of information about creative thinking skills, when implemented project based learning must consider several things, that are: time management, formulation of the problem, step of project work, and assessment systems should be informed to the students in a clear and focused so that students can understand and have a passion in running the project.  Keywords: Project Based Learning, Creative Thinking, Colloid.

This study aims to analyze the investigative skills of Junior High School students upon the use of tracker video analysis for 21th century skill.This reasearch was quasy experimental reasearch using non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population was 8th grade of SMP Negeri 4 Depok in academic year of 2018/2019, which consists of 4 classes with a total of 127 students. The samples consist of 30 students of class VIII A and 30 students of class VIII B, which are selected using cluster sampling technique. The Class VIII A was chosen as the control class, which used powerpoint and video, whereas Class VIII B was prepared as the experiment class, which used Tracker Video Analysis. The instruments used were pretest-posttest questions and observation sheet of investigative skill. The data analysis technique used was t-test. The result of this reasearch shows that the analysis through t-test gives a significance level value of investigative skill of 0.024 (Sig. α). This shows that there is an infuence of investigative skill of students upon Tracker Video Analysis.

This study aims to study: the differences between students who take part in spending with a project-based learning model and students who follow learning with conventional models of student learning motivation. This study was a quasi-experimental study with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 167 Pekanbaru in 2018/2019. Data collection using tests to determine critical thinking skills and questionnaires to learn learning motivation. Data analysis using t-test and Manova with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that there are differences between students who take part in spending with a project-based learning model with students who take learning with the conventional model on student learning motivation with the results of data calculations also understand Thitung at 17.412 and P = 0.00.

This study aims to find out the influence of learning media of E-Learning based on Edmodo toward learning outcomes of biology students at the Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of fourth-semester where 45 students selected as the sample. The sample consisted of 22 students in experimental group and 23 students in control group.  The result showed that the Sig value was smaller than the level of significance (α). The hypothesis testing with t-test (independent-sample t-test) obtained a sig value was 0.006 with a significance level (α) was 0.0. It appears that there is an effect of E-Learning based on Edmodo toward student's learning outcomes of biology education at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the method of playing a role in student confidence in Indonesian subjects. The quasi-experimental method is used as a research method with the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of all students in the primary school state of Cilaku. Samples were taken as many as 48 students from the VA class of 24 students as the control class and the VB class of 24 as the experimental class. The data analysis technique used in determining the average, calculating the standard deviation, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed that the variable of students 'confidence using the role-playing method obtained an average posttest score of 78.33. In contrast, the results of students' confidence using conventional learning received an average posttest score of 66.17. Then the hypothesis test is performed, which shows the results of t count 4.09 and t table = 2.074 with n-2 = 24-2 = 22 and a significance level of 0.05. Based on the t count ˃ t-test criteria, Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that the role-playing method influences students' confidence in Indonesian subjects.

This study aims to find out (1) the POGIL learning model effective on mathematical communication skills. (2) conventional learning models are effective against mathematical communication skills. (3) the difference between the POGIL learning model and the conventional model of mathematical communication skills. This research is quasi-experimental research with the research design of The Nonequivalent Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study is all students of grade VII MTS Negeri 02 Kerinci. This study's sample consisted of an experimental class and a control class selected by a random sampling cluster. The research instrument is a test f mathematical communication ability, and the data is analyzed using one-sample t-test statistics and independent t-test samples. This study shows that (1) the POGIL learning model is effective on mathematical communication skills. (2) conventional learning models are ineffective against mathematical communication skills. (3) there is a difference between the POGIL learning model and the conventional model of mathematical communication skills.

<span>The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the <em>sorogan </em>method in history learning to improve students' historical understanding and historical awareness. The research method used a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design, and the sampling technique used a cluster sampling with a sample size of 96 students. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and tests of historical understanding and awareness. Meanwhile, data analysis to determine the effect and differences of the <em>sorogan</em> method to increase understanding and historical awareness using the independent sample t-test and N-gain score test. The results showed that there were a significant influence and difference between the two groups, namely the experimental and control classes based on the results of the independent sample t-test, the hypothesis H0 was rejected with a significance value of 0.000&lt;0.05, further strengthened by the results of the N-gain score test which was included in the criteria low and medium. This means that there is an influence and increase from the implementation of the <em>sorogan</em> method on historical understanding and awareness and getting a positive response from teachers and students, because the <em>sorogan</em> method is student-centered, and the teacher acts as tutorship/mentorship.</span>

<span>The aim of the research was to determine the effectivity of implementation of </span><span lang="IN">e-learning</span><span> science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (E-STEM) project-based learning model in teaching science to improve information, communication, and technology (ICT) literacy and problem solving. The study adopted quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. E-STEM project-based learning model was applied in experimental classroom, while the control classroom applied conventional teaching. The sample was 46 students who was selected using cluster sampling method. They were in grade VIII academic year 2020/2021 which representing the population students of Junior High School 8, in Aceh Besar, Indonesia. The data were collected using test instrument and questionnaires. Validity verification of instrument measured based on Aiken index, while instrument reliability was determined based on Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The data were analyzed using Manova and descriptive quantitative. The result of the study showed that there is meaningful difference of ICT literacy and problem solving mean score based on the difference of both teaching approach. It is concluded that the implementation of E-STEM project-based learning model and problem solving in teaching science has significant impact in increasing ICT literacy and problem solving.</span>

This study aimed to find out the significant effect of Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model, student's academic ability, and the interaction between learning models and academic ability of the students’ argumentation skills. The population was all students of class VIII MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. The Samples were students of class VIII A and VIII B selected from the population by random cluster sampling technique. This study was quasi-experimental with Pretest Post-test Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The instrument used was argumentation skills test on the material motion systems in humans. The data were statistically analyzed using Ankova test and test Significant Difference (LSD) respectively at 5% significance level. The results showed that the learning ADI model, academic ability, and the interaction between the ADI model and academic abilities significantly influenced argumentation skills with significant value of each were 0,000; 0.007; and 0.038.

Keterampilan motorik kasar dan halus anak pada pembelajaran di TK Al Kautsar Indralaya Ogan Ilir sebagai fokus penelitian bertolak dari kenyataan di lapangan bahwa proses pembelajaran di TK tersebut belum tergarap secara bersamaan. Proses pembelajaran hanya terkonsetrasi pada aspek kognitif, bahkan keterampilan tersebut belum maksimal dicapai oleh anak. Akibatnya, di satu sisi kurang terampil dalam kegiatan motorik kasar dan halus. Maka diperlukan pendekatan saintifik alternatif yang dapat menyetuh pencapaian aspek keterampilan motorik kasar maupun motorik halus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan motorik kasar dan halus anak antara kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol baik sebelum maupun setelah proses pembelajaran anak di TK Al Kautsra Indralaya Ogan Ilir untuk mewujudkan tujuan penelitian tersebut digunakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Dalam pelaksanaannya treatment yakni Penerapan Pendekata Saintifik, diberikan kepada anak kelas eksperimen dan anak kelas kontrol menerapkan metode konvensional. Penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Cluster Sampling yang menetapkan kelas jedah sebagai eksperimen dan kelas mekah sebagai kelas kontrol untuk memperoleh data penelitian, penelitian menggunakan teknik tes sikap, observasi, dokumentasi, cek klis dan wawancara sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t Independent-Sample  T test dan uji Man-Whitney dengan Program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). Penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan motorik kasar dan motorik halus anak kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebelum proses pembelajaran dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan motorik kasar dan motorik halus anak kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol setelah proses pembelajaran.
