Alumni data collection at the Electrical Engineering Vocational Education Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa was still performed manually and there were no career information media about soft skills training and development, tracer studies, and job vacancies information. Therefore, media is needed to accommodate career information and alumni data collection quickly and effectively. The web-based information system using PHP MySQL was developed and tested for feasibility as an information medium for soft skills training and development, tracer studies, job vacancies information, as well as career counseling and consulting. This study used a Modify R&D as a development method and the waterfall method as a development model consisted of analysis, design, coding (implementation), and testing. The testing was carried out by 37 people consisted of software experts, admins, alumni, and students of Electrical Engineering Vocational Education. The test was based on the ISO9126 standard with functionality, usability, reliability, and efficiency aspects. Based on the results, the functionality aspect had a score of 77 (very feasible), the usability aspect had a score of 87.8 (very feasible), the reliability aspect had a score of 100% (very feasible) and the average page load time was 3.48 seconds (feasible).

This paper examines training and development (T&D) systems in the technical, vocational education and training (TVET) in Kenya. It is in response to the Kenya Vision 2030 document that identifies TVET as the anchor of its economic pillar through science, technology and innovation to boost Kenya’s industrialisation status. The document notes that skills training faces challenges such as mismatch of skills between the training institutions and the industry, and disparities in accessibility at all levels. This paper seeks to explore whether the accurate assessment of training needs is the answer to the challenges faced by the training program. Data for this study were collected from scrutinising previous research papers and government documents, interviews with four senior education officers drawn from the education ministries and the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), six trainers from technical training institutes and two from a youth polytechnic. Observations were made in the TVET institutions participating in this study. Data were analysed using content analysis and presented by means of description. Findings identified the following challenges: a rigid and unresponsive curriculum, inadequate methods of training and development needs assessment (T&DNA), lack of stakeholder involvement in curriculum design, inadequate numbers of specialised staff at the KICD, poor training methods, obsolete tools and insufficient equipment, political interference and multiple providers. The author concludes that the introduction of a comprehensive T&DNA is indeed a prerequisite for a relevant and adaptive T&D program; however, additional factors such as the right equipment, qualified trainers, a conducive economic, social and political environment, and sound program coordination are also essential to its success. The paper is divided into seven sections: introduction, background to the research, problem statement, methodology, findings, discussion and research conclusions.

A person’s success is not determined solely by the knowledge and technical abilities (hard skills). But rather by the ability to manage themselves and others (soft skills) relating to factors of emotional intelligence (EQ). Because soft skills is critical given in the educational process. Inability to provide soft skills training will only result in graduates who are just good at memorizing lessons and get a little bit of skill when already in employment. Currently we are in the middle of the vortex hegomonia media, science and technology revolution. Not only is able to bring the ease and comfort of living for humans, but also invite problems and concerns. Progress in science and technology can reduce the humanitarian values or dehumanization. In the reality on the ground, moral development efforts through a variety of educational institutions and various methods continue to be developed. It shows that morality does need to be nurtured. Based on the hadith “Behold, I am sent by God to enhance budipekerti nobility” (HR. Ahmad). This type of research is qualitative research methods literature, namely data collection is done through the places of storage of research results. The data collection technique using the method of documentation, namely reference books that can be justified. Examination of the validity of data tend to use triangulation techniques theory. In this research using descriptive method with content analysis techniques, which draw a conclusion through the efforts of finding the characteristics of the message and be conducted objectively and systematically.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of soft skills training and development on human resource outcome and firm performance. Data were collected from 199 manufacturers in Malaysia using questionnaire survey method and analysed using ‘structural equation modelling’ methodology. The results indicated that the relationship between soft skills training and development and firm performance is fully mediated by the human resource outcomes. This study highlights the indirect contribution of soft skills training and development on firm performance via its impacts on human resource outcome.

Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, Berbasis Masyarakat, PendataanABSTRACT Manual data collection causes problems in the data collection process, this also occurs in the Pasuruan City Education and Culture Office where data collection is still manual with a limited number of Human Resources (HR) assigned to collect data, therefore this service activity is carried out information system training to increase data collection time and reduce complexity in the data collection process for employees at the Pasuruan City Education and Culture Office. The information system training referred to is a community-based data collection information system, which contains basic data required by the Regional Government in the framework of formulating development plans. Information data will not provide benefits if it is not used as a reference in the preparation of development plans so that training and assistance are needed to achieve the goals. Keywords : Information System, Community Based, Data Collection

Research that the author did aim to know how to design inventory system on Planet Phone. The method used is quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are literature study, observation, and interviews. From the research conducted found that there is a problem on inventory data processing. The process of inventory data processing only by writing using a general ledger. So this causes inaccuracies and delays in reports. Therefore the authors make the information system by using PHP and MySQL database. This system consists of inputting inventory data, inventory reports, sales reports and income reports. As for some suggestions given to tackle the problem is by connecting the system with internet connection, for employees more quickly and effectively in penginputan inventory data and owner can also know the sales reports and income reports more quickly without having to come directly to the store.

Virtual reality (VR) is an emerging technology with the potential to extract significantly more data about learners and the learning process. In this article, we present an analysis of how VR education technology companies frame, use and analyse this data. We found both an expansion and acceleration of what data are being collected about learners and how these data are being mobilised in potentially discriminatory and problematic ways. Beyond providing evidence for how VR represents an intensification of the datafication of education, we discuss three interrelated critical issues that are specific to VR: the fantasy that VR data is ‘perfect’, the datafication of soft-skills training, and the commercialisation and commodification of VR data. In the context of the issues identified, we caution the unregulated and uncritical application of learning analytics to the data that are collected from VR training.
