Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran diskursus multi representasi (DMR). Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretset-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan matematika STKIP Siliwangi Bandung yang mengikuti mata kuliah metode pembelajaran matematika sekolah SD pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 yang terdiri dari 3 kelas, yaitu: A1, A2 dan A3. Sampel penelitian dipilih 2 kelas dari populasi penelitian, terpilih kelas A2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang terdiri dari 35 orang mahasiswa dan kelas A1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang terdiri dari 36 orang mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap gain hasil tes kemampuan mahasiswa mata kuliah metode pembelajaran matematika sekolah SD. Sedangkan analisis skala disposisi matematis mahasiswa menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2010. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes uraian dan skala disposisi. Analisis penelitian menggunakan uji perbedaan rata-rata mann whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang mendapat pembelajaran DMR lebih baik daripada mahasiswa yang mendapat pembelajaran konvensional; dan (2) Disposisi matematis mahasiswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan DMR lebih baik daripada mahasiswa dengan pembelajaran yang menggunakan pendekatan konvensional. Learning multi discourse representation to enhance students communication and their mathematical disposition AbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement of students’ mathematical communication and dispositions ability through multi-representation discourse (DMR) learning. This research method is quasi-experimental with the design of pretset-posttest control group. The population is all students of mathematics education STKIP Siliwangi Bandung attending the course subject of  Metode Pembelajaran Matematika SD (Elementary Mathematics Learning Method) in the first semester of 2016/2017 academic year consisting of three classes, namely: A1, A2 and A3. The samples are selected from two classes; A2 as the control group consisting of 35 students and A1 as the experimental group consisting of 36 students.. Data analysis is performed to find out the gain from the results of students’ ability test in the subject of Metode Pembelajaran Matematika  SD; while the students’ mathematical disposition scale analysis is conducted by using Microsoft Excel 2010. To obtain research data, the instruments of  description test and disposition scale are used. The analysis of research uses the Mann Whitney’s mean differences test. The results show that: (1) the achievement and improvement of communication ability of the students’ receiving DMR learning are better than those who receive conventional learning; and (2) Mathematical disposition of students with DMR learning is better than those with the conventional approach.

This research is motivated by the importance of mathematical communication ability. Mathematical communication ability of students is still low. In order that this problem can be solved, a learning model that can enhance mathematical communication ability of students is required. In this research, CORE model learning with scientific approach was selected. This study aims to analyze the enhancement of mathematical communication ability. This research was a quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The population was students in eighth grade in one of the junior high schools in Jambi.  The sample consisted of two classes which were selected by purposive sampling. The instrument of this research is a test of mathematical communication ability. The data were analyzed by using Independent t-test. Based on the data analyzed, it is found that: The enhancement of mathematical communication ability of students who received the CORE learning model with scientific approach is better than the enhancement of students who received conventional learning.

This study focuses on enhancement of student’s learning motivation. This is a quasi experimental research with non equivalent control group design. Sample were taken by purposive sampling technique so that selected 22 experimental group students and 22 control group students from VIIIth grade of junior high school in Bandung, The experimental group was given contextual mathematics learning, while the control group was given regular learning. Questionnaire of motivation were used as research instrument. The results show that enhancement of student’s learning motivation with contextual mathematics learning better than students who received regular learning.

AbstrakKondisi pembelajaran saat ini cenderung kurang melibatkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran meskipun siswa tampak mengikuti pembelajaran matematika dengan baik serta kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah. Strategi yang dapat melibatkan siswa dan meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman dalam pembelajaran diantaranya model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition dan Student Teams Achievement Division. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian yang diambil sebanyak 59 orang dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas VII-D menggunakan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition sebanyak 29 orang dan kelas VII-E menggunakan model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division sebanyak 30 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan angket skala sikap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition tidak lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division.Kata Kunci: kemampuan pemahaman matematis, Auditory Intellectually Repetition, Student Teams Achievement Division, kuasi eksperimen. Comparing Students' Understanding Abilities through the Auditory Intellectually Repetition and the Student Teams Achievement Division AbstractThe current learning conditions tend to involve fewer students in the learning process even though students seem to follow mathematics learning well and the students' mathematical understanding ability is still relatively low. Strategies that can involve students and improve the ability to understand in learning include the Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning model and Student Teams Achievement Division. This research method uses quasi-experimental research with Nonequivalent control group design. The research sample was taken as many as 59 people from two classes, namely class VII-D using the Auditory Intelligence Repetition learning model as many as 29 people and class VII-E using 30 students Teams Achievement Division learning model. The instrument used is a mathematical understanding ability test and attitude scale questionnaire. The results showed that the students' mathematical comprehension ability who received the Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning model was no better than the students who received the cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division. Mathematical logical intelligence is one of the skills that are needed in the 21st century related to mathematical problem-solving skills. The importance of this skill is not in line with the facts on the ground, where students are still weak in counting and using logic in problem solving. The purpose of this research is to improve students’ mathematical logical intelligence through the online-based integration of local wisdom of Sulapa Eppa Walasuji. Sulapa Eppa Walasuji is one of the Bugis-Makassar local wisdoms with a unique pattern, appropriate to be used as a medium for learning transformation of geometry. Through the integration of local wisdom, Sulapa Eppa Walasuji can create contextual mathematics learning, so that students can easily understand the material by connecting real-life concepts. This research includes experimental research with a quasi-experimental design of the nonequivalent control group design type. The research instrument used was a mathematical logical intelligence test consisting of five essay questions. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics with gain score and effect size testing. The results showed that the mathematical logical intelligence of experimental class students increased by 43.16 with the effective contribution of the r effect size being 0.910. This indicates that the online-based integration of Sulapa Eppa Walasuji can improve students’ mathematical logical intelligence.

Abstract. This research has been made to know skill of student’s concept by using active learning strategy everyone is teacher here (ETH). Beside that this study aims to measure student’s concept understanding with statistical test between Experimental Class (Active Learning Strategy Everyone Is Teacher Here) and control class (Conventional Learning ). The population was seventh grade of SMPN 3 Lirik consist 94 students in three classes. Sample was took randomly, experiment class ( VII.2 ) and control class ( VII.I ) This research was experiment, the form of this research was Quasi Experimental Design with randomized subject posttest only control group design. based on statistic data processing has been retrieved - t hitung -3,159 smaller than - t table was -2,000 and based on t test has been retrieved -thitung < -t table so Ho rejected and Ha received. So that the writer conclude that skill of math student’s concept understanding by using active learning Strategy Everyone Is Teacher Here (ETH) is better than conventional concept understanding.Keywords: Everyone Is A Teacher Here, Concept Understanding

This research describes the differences of student’s learning with the application of cooperative learning type make a match in the electrolyte and non-electrolyte at the X grade student’s of the Madrasah Aliya DDI Lonja. This research used quasi experimental with non randomized pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted with two groups: XA as the experimental (n=21) XB as the control group (n=18). The data findings means score of experimental group (X1) is 70,5 with the standard deviation 9,6 and the control group (X2) is 62.0 with the standard deviation is 6. Based on the results, the researcher concludes cooperative learning type make a match has better than control class that used conventional learning model.

Abstract. Blended learning is a learning model that lecturers can apply to optimize the learning outcomes. This study, entitled "The Effectiveness of Blended Learning to Increase Student Motivation" aims to determine the extent of the effectiveness of Blended Learning in increasing the learning motivation on the first semester students of the English Literature Study Program at Khairun University. This research was carried out at the English Literature Study Program a quasi-experimental study designed on using the non-equivalent control group design. A total of 50 on the first semester students were sampled in this study. The sample was divided into 2 classes, experimental class used blended learning and the control class used face-to-face learning, each consisted of 25 students. The learning motivation questionnaire was used as the instrument in collecting the data related to students learning motivation. The results showed that there were significant differences between students learning motivation in the experimental class and students in the control class after had been given different treatments. The researcher also found that the application of Blended Learning was effective in increasing the learning motivation of the first semester students of English Literature Study Program at Khairun University.

This study aims to determine how the influence of the open-ended problem approach to the students’ mathematics learning outcomes at grade VII SMP Muhammadiyah Walattasi, Soppeng Regency. The researcher used 2 classes; experimental and control class. This study used a Nonequivalent Control Group Design with quasi-experimental type. The research population is students of grade VII SMP Muhammadiyah Walattasi, Soppeng Regency. Learning outcome data is processed using independent T-test samples through normality prerequisite tests (Kolmogorof Smirnov) and homogeneity tests for variance in statistical tests with significance level (α = 0 .05). Data were processed by utilizing SPSS version 23 software. The results of hypothesis testing indicated that Tcount Ttable or 4,561 2,011, like to see sig data. (2 tailed) the experimental class and the control class 0,000 0.05, Based on these results, it could be conclude that there is an influence of the open-ended problem approach to the students’ mathematics learning outcomes at grade VII SMP Muhammadiyah Walattasi, Soppeng Regency. Kata Kunci: open-ended problem; Students’ Mathematics learning outcome

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pembelajaran yang menggunakan model Problem Solving Fisika (PSF) terhadap hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua jenis disain penelitian yang berbeda, yaitu Quasi Experimental Design dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design untuk melihat pengaruh model PSF terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan Pre-Experimental Design dengan bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Group Design untuk melihat pengaruh model PSF terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Analisis pengaruh model PSF terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dilakukan dengan uji-t dan uji lanjut dengan Cohen’s d menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2010. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran menggunakan model PSF terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa yaitu sebesar 0,72 yang berada dalam kategori sedang. Analisis pengaruh model PSF terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika dilakukan dengan perhitungan gain yaitu pengurangan rata-rata posttest dengan pretest dan uji lanjut. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh bahwa model PSF memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika siswa sebesar 1,80 yang berada dalam kategori kuat.Kata kunci: Model Problem Solving Fisika, Hasil Belajar Kognitif, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Fisika

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Brain-Based Learning (BBL) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis (KKMAT) dan self-efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu menggunakan desain grup kontrol tidak secara acak dengan pemberian tes awal dan tes akhir. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Jetis Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta pada semester kedua tahun ajaran 2012/2013 yang terdiri atas tiga kelas. Dua kelas dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes KKMAT dan skala self-efficacy. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji multivariat (MANOVA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan BBL berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa.Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Brain-Based Learning, kemampuan komunikasi matematis, self-efficacy The Effect of Brain-Based Learning Approach toward the Mathematical Communication Ability and Self-Efficacy of Senior High School Students AbstractThis study aimed to describe the effect of the instruction using Brain-Based Learning Approach (BBLA) toward students’ mathematical communication ability (MCA) and self-efficacy. This study adopted a pretest-posttest nonrandomized control group design in a quasi-experimental setting. The population comprised all students grade XI IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Jetis D. I. Yogyakarta in the second semester of the academic year 2012/2013 consisting of three classes. Two classes were selected as the research sample, namely experimental class and control class. The instruments of the study were a test of MCA and scale of self-efficacy. The data were analized using the one sample t test and MANOVA test. The findings of the study show that the instruction using BBLA has an effect on students’ mathematical communication ability and self-efficacy.Keywords: Brain-Based Learning Approach (BBLA), mathematical communication ability, self-efficacy
