BACKGROUND In December 2019, few cases of pneumonia were reported outbursting in the city Wuhan, Mainland China and soon became a global pandemic. With the vaccination approval in Mainland China, concerns over its safety and efficacy emerged. Since the Chinese Vaccine has been promoted by the Chinese government for months, and just got emergency approval from the World Health Organization. The Chinese vaccination program is yet to be identified from the perspective of local populations. OBJECTIVE To examine the perception, complaints, and inquiries related to the current vaccination program to identify public concerns or hesitancy with the leading search engine in Mainland China. METHODS The COVID-19 Vaccine related keywords were examined and queried on Baidu Index for the period 2019.01–2021.04. The searching popularity of each keyword was recorded to analyze the search trend and demographic distributions. Data of demand graph and trend data used for users' demand analysis. Daily Vaccination data were retrieved from the daily government report since 2021,03. RESULTS Seventeen vaccination keywords were retrieved and with a total BSI value of 13,708,853. The first vaccine enquiry emerged on 25th January 2020, and the searching trend APC is 21.05% (p < .05). With reference to the government announcement, the coefficient of correlation (r) values is 0.38 (p < .05). As to the age distribution, 39.22% of the search were from people aged 20-29 years and dominated the vaccine enquiry. Followed are the 33.00% from aged 30-39 yr, 14.34% from aged 40-49 yr, 9.27% from aged under 19 yr and 3.88% from aged over 50 yr. In the user demand section, the total valid BSI of the vaccine demand terms were 3,843,325,561. Over 54.93% of the demand term search were pandemic relevant, and the summed vaccine demand ratio was 44.79%. CONCLUSIONS The rising search population in COVID-19 Vaccination revealed elevating public interest and focus. Vaccine education programs and materials should be designed for teens and people aged above the 40s. The article considers topical issues of the threat of collapse of democracy. Examples of the democracy collapse have shown the lack of free and fair elections in the world, which threatens the independence of the judiciary, restrictions on the right to freedom of speech, which limits the ability of the political opposition to challenge the government, to prosecute, to offer alternatives to the regime. The collapse of democracy in connection with the spread of COVID-19 is being considered, as the democratic spectrum has repeatedly resorted to excessive control, discriminatory restrictions on freedoms such as movement and assembly, and arbitrary or coercive coercion. Attention is drawn to the fact that the outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19 has led to the introduction in all countries of restrictions on the rights and freedoms of the individual in order to prevent the spread of this infectious disease, declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization. Thus, the unusual nature of the COVID - 19 coronavirus pandemic poses numerous dilemmas to the public, governments, parliaments, the judiciary, law enforcement and many other actors when it comes to the need for effective protection of health and, ultimately, human life, as well as adherence to and ensuring the fundamental democratic principles of man and society.

BACKGROUND Premature ejaculation (PE) is one of the most described psychosocial stress and sexual complaints worldwide. Previous investigations have focused predominantly on the prospective identification of cases that meets the researchers' criteria. The genuine demand as regards PE and related issues from patients may thus be neglected. OBJECTIVE To examine the online search trend and users’ demand related to PE on a national and regional scale using the dominant major search engine in mainland China. METHODS The Baidu Index was queried using the PE related terms for the period 2011.01–2020.12. The search volume for each term was recorded to analyze the search trend and demographic distributions. For user interest, the data of demand graph and trend data were collected and analyzed. RESULTS Of the 36 available PE keywords, 4 PE searching topics were identified. The BSI for each PE topics varies from 46.30% to 6.41%. The APC for topic Complaint was 2011-2014, 48.80% (p > .05); 2014-2020, -16.82% (p < .05). The APC for topic Enquiry was 2011-2014, 16.21% (p > .05); 2014-2020, -11.00% (p < .05). For topic Prognosis, the annual APC was 2011-2017, 11.18% (p < .05); 2017-2020, -19.86% (p < .05). For topic Treatment, the annual APC was 2011-2016, 14.04% (p < .05); 2016-2020, -38.83% (p < .05). The age distribution of the population of each PE searching topics enquiries shows that the population aged 20 to 40 years comprised nearly 70% of the total search enquiries. Seconded is 17.95 % in the age group under 19 years. People from the east part of china made over 50% of the total search queries. CONCLUSIONS e fluctuating online popularity of PE search is reflecting the real-time population demands. It may help medical professionals better understand population interest, population concerns, regional variations and gender differences on a national wide scale and making disease-specific healthcare policies. The internet search data could be more reliable when the insufficient and lagging registry data are completed. CLINICALTRIAL Not applicable

COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization in 2020 with countries putting up several measures to mitigate and flatten the curve of hospitalizations and death from travel bans to home confinements and local lockdowns. This pandemic created health and economic crises, leading to increased incidence of poverty and food crisis especially on both agriculture and the fisheries in many developing nations including the Philippines. The specific objectives of this study were to assess the impact of COVID-19 restrictions on the catch per unit effort (CPUE) of small-scale fishers and to determine what factors could influence the volume of their catch during this time of pandemic. Moreover, this also investigated the impact of COVID-19 restrictions to fishers and their families. To do that we surveyed N = 200 small-scale fishers around the Davao gulf using semi-structured questionnaire and inquired on the impact of the COVID-19 to their fishing operation, catch, fishing costs, and their families. The collected socioeconomic variables, including emotional responses to the pandemic were then related to the CPUE and the volume of catch. The results show that fishers were highly affected by the pandemic due to the lockdown policy imposed in the fishing villages during the earlier phases of restrictions by the government. Fishers were affected in terms of the volume of their catch, also fishing costs, and emotionally as they were also frustrated due to the impacts of the hard lockdown. The restricted fishing access was found to have important and major set-back on the fishing operations of fishers and the same was experienced also by the middlemen given the low fish price and reduced mobility of the fish traders. COVID-19 also impacted the fishers, and their families through lack of mobility, food inadequacy, travel restrictions and their children’s education.

Background: As we live in an interconnected globalized world, people and the diseases they carry can be easily transmitted to any place in a matter of hours. SARS-CoV-2 began like all new viruses with an ordinary moment when a cluster of patients admitted to a hospital with pneumonia turned out to have a new strain of coronavirus. The virus’s high transmissibility made the epidemic in China turn into a global pandemic with an ongoing daily reporting of new cases and deaths. However, as fast as viruses spread, the detection of pandemics and taking early measures has become much easier due to the advancement of science in today’s world. The early responses and measures adopted by China, such as early reporting and situation monitoring, large-scale surveillance, and preparation of medical facilities and supplies, were all successful in reducing the epidemic in China generally and in the epicenter Wuhan specifically. The purpose of this review is to focus on the effectiveness of the measures taken by the Chinese government to stop COVID-19 spreading by comparing the country’s response to SARS and COVID-19 outbreaks, which will provide an example for the communities, health managers, and leaders of countries to follow on how to prepare, detect, and respond to potential outbreaks. Method: For this article, epidemic preparedness and management strategies under comparison were derived from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) frameworks and guidelines. Other data related to COVID-19 and reported cases were taken from more than 25 official public health organization reports and relevant articles using various databases (e.g., Google Scholar, PubMed and Science Direct). Results: Working on developing resilient systems against infectious diseases should be one of the top priorities of any country. China embraced resilience in its battle against COVID-19 and proved its capability to cope with the outbreak crisis. Despite succeeding in altering the course of the outbreak, healthcare experts warned about possible epidemic recurrence and stressed the need for caution as the pandemic is still ongoing and most of the infected cases are presenting with only mild symptoms.

Abstract   The COVID-19 vaccination program in Indonesia that started on January 13, 2021 is expected to accelerate the herd immunity that will impact on reducing the infected cases. The World Health Organization (WHO) explained that vaccine performance can be measured through vaccine efficacy, effectiveness, and impact. This community service activity aims to provide inputs for policy implementation on COVID-19 vaccination strategy to the government by conducting predictive analysis using a dynamic mathematical modeling to determine the effectiveness and impact of vaccination at the community level. Five types of vaccines were analyzed, namely AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, Sinopharm and Sinovac. Two basic model scenarios of with and without the vaccination policy implementation were simulated. The model demonstrated that the policy noticeably reduces the number of COVID-19 cases. The main finding demonstrated by the model is that the effectiveness of the vaccine after it is immunized into the community is affected by its efficacy, but the efficacy of various vaccines type does not influence significantly to the vaccine impact on community. Thus, it is recommended that the government ensures the availability of any type of vaccines to accelerate the vaccination program and encourage community participation to be vaccinated to achieve the target goal. Furthermore, since the impact of vaccine on the community is not only determined by its efficacy, the government have to do persistent health education and drive community engagement to adhere with the COVID-19 health protocol.

COVID-19 discovered a global pandemic that gave rise to the emergence of various groups, especially the public. Inaugurated by the World Health Organization as a global pandemic, the management of COVID-19 is a challenge for countries with limited energy sources and health care systems. Citizens' understanding continues to grow along with the number of positive problems and deaths due to COVID-19 which continues to grow in a relatively short time. The ability of each country to adapt to the existing conditions during efficient and anticipatory implementation varies greatly. The policy finds an early ground that must be tested in order to be able to tackle these cases successfully. Anticipatory policy decisions related to efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, take action against infected patients, protect health workers, and control public awareness are carefully considered. For this reason, the Government is trying to schedule a New Normal policy so that the economic impact of the pandemic does not create a sustainable crisis. This policy is linked to planning where the Government has established programs, as well as major projects in the 2020-2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN). The government needs to review the medium-term plan considering that in 2020 all programs that are trying to focus on taking action against Covid-19. The government has 3 alternatives in the medium term, whether it is always quality, making moderate improvements, or changing it with a new plan with assumptions made from the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequences that accompany it.

On Wednesday, March 11 th , the whole world was put on hold when the World Health Organization officially announced the beginning of a new pandemic generated by the SARS-COV-2 Coronavirus. Even if rumors about a new coronavirus appeared in Wuhan, China were spread starting with 12 th of December 2019, only on the last day of the year Chinese government officially reported the first cases. The outbreak came with severe consequences for society, people's health and for the global economy, leading to dramatic changes in consumer behaviour. At this point, it can be considered that studies over this topic are in the incipient stage, as we barely overcame the first wave. Analysts are saying that we are facing the beginning of the second wave, considered to be much stronger. Specific literature and analysis are time dependent, limited by the coronavirus actions and a final conclusion cannot be drawn yet. The aim of this paper is to analyse the impact of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus on the economy, on people’s economic behaviour taking into consideration the limitations generated by the unknown factors as ongoing studies over symptoms, treatments, side effects. Another goal is to present a general view over the way in which different industries reacted to an unstable economic and social environment, focusing on Romania in a globalized context. Consumer behaviour is reviewed during the government-imposed lockdown going towards commerce and electronic commerce, showing that the consumer behaviour changed during the last months, moving towards online alternatives.
