Abstract: During the time of covid-19 whole education system has shifted from offline mode to online mode which plays a vital role in the increasing stress, anxiety, depression and other mental problem among the students, teachers, and parents. Because they all are not familiar with the online education system. So in this scenario, we should know that how much they all are aware and capable to use different online tools and courses like swayam, Courera, edu, NPTEL, YouTube, etc with their economic condition, infrastructure, and mental health too. Are they able to continue their learning during this scenario? Due to lack of awareness they all are getting mentally disturbed. In this situation, they all need support from our government because for the present situation they were not prepared from earlier. A survey was conducted by us in Uttar Pradesh to analyze the effect of lockdown on students (age 15-35 years), teachers and parents (total 162 respondents) belongs from urban and rural areas through Google form during Sep – Oct month2020. So that most of the responses come from Uttar Pradesh and the city Lucknow. Through this survey we draw the different factors like not comfortable, privacy concerns, not aware, sleeping pattern, lazier, stressful, worried, eye problem, digital screens, burden of work, and disrespectful behavior which somewhere affect the mental health and behavior of the respondents. We have also taken response to rating online education system and examination at the likert scales 1(poor) — 5(excellent). This paper will help to know what the reasons behind the above mention factors are. We have find out the proportion of students, teachers, and parents who are facing different types of mental problems, and we are trying to show finding of the survey with the help of different graphs also. Modern scientific and technological changes have enabled online education as an integral part of the education system in the contemporary world. Although online learning system was influential in the pre-Covid 19 periods to a certain extent, it has become an inevitable part of the teaching and learning process of higher education sectors during the Covid-19 era. As the Covid-19 posed enormous challenges on the traditional higher education system, there was a desperate need globally for every government to incorporate online education into their higher education system. However, online education was not given much importance in the Sri Lankan higher education sector before the Covid-19. But, the closure of universities due to Covid-19 had prompted the government of Sri Lanka to promote the online mode of education as an alternative solution to continue higher education activity during a crisis. Thus, online education has presently become an essential component of Sri Lanka's higher education sector. Nevertheless, there are many obstacles and challenges confronting the higher education sectors, particularly in the universities of Sri Lanka to perpetuate online education successfully. Against this backdrop, this study attempts to give an insight into the impact of Covid-19 on the teaching and learning process of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, and the challenges faced by the university in perpetuating online education system during the Covid-19. The findings of the study show that the university encountered several challenges in terms of online delivery, problems related to practical test via online mode, assessment, examination and supervision of the thesis. The study further highlights issues concerning online teaching and learning environment and a lack of online teaching and learning skills among staff and students that were considered critical to the smooth functioning of teaching and learning process of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study argues that the university should focus on a hybrid education system to address the issues of online mode of education confronted by staff and students to make the teaching and learning process more effective.

In order to revitalize Indian education system, the Government of India has recently approved National Education Policy-2020 (NEP-2020) and proposed sweeping changes including opening up of Indian higher education to foreign universities, dismantling of the UGC and the AICTE, introduction of a 4-year multidisciplinary undergraduate program with multiple exit options, and discontinuation of the M Phil program. It aims at making ‘India a global knowledge superpower’. In the light of National Education Policy-2020, agricultural education system needs to be redefined in India as it increases knowledge or information and farmer’s capacity to learn. As the level of agricultural education increases, farmers will become more and more self-reliant and will depend more on their self-studies dealing with farming. It is suggested that reorientation of agricultural higher education in context of globalization, food security, diversification, sustainability of ecosystems, and agribusiness is necessary. The curriculum of agricultural higher education needs to be made more broad based and manpower has to be trained scientifically in topics such as biotechnology, genetic engineering, agro-meteorology, environmental science, agro-ecology, computer application, information technology, conservation of natural and human resources, specialized job-oriented courses, and trade and export in agribusiness. Finally, adequate emphasis should be placed on practical skills and entrepreneurial capabilities among the students to achieve excellence. To properly address the challenges faced by today’s Indian agriculture, competent human resource in sufficiently large numbers would be required in the near future. There is a vast scope for young graduates to undertake agriculture as their profession which is directly or indirectly contributing to the economic and social development of the country.

Online education helped resume learning that had come to a momentary and uncertain pause with the onset of COVID-19 pandemic across the globe. Since then, learning in many educational institutions continued through synchronous and asynchronous modes, with teaching being undertaken remotely on digital platforms. In this large-scale migration towards online mode of curriculum delivery induced by the pandemic, the institutional learning management system (LMS) had a critical role to play in ensuring uninterrupted learning and student engagement. By drawing heavily from extant works, learnings from MOOC platforms, observations from the LMS applications in corporate training, the present article synthesis the extant literature on how the effective use of LMS can make the learning process interactive, student centric, catering to the needs of diverse learners in higher education.

The education system in Pakistan does not cater to the need of the society especially inculcating the unity of thought, skills, and attitudes among the learners. The serious efforts to improve the standard of Higher Education for the commercialization of education especially higher education have not been made by the government. A number of policies were framed for the betterment of the education system but there could not be a single unanimous policy framed and materialized. Pakistan is a country that has invested meager resources in the education sector. The countries which invested in the human resource are now leading the economic arena and are counted as developed countries. With the reasonable allocation of funds and expertise in this field, the priorities can be fixed to correlate with the standards of the higher education of developed countries. Higher Education Commission or the like bodies of developed countries have played a pivotal role in making their educational standards and these are role model for Pakistan. In this respect, some practical suggestions are recommended for enhancing the marketability and commercialization of education in Pakistan.

The Regional Rural Banks are government-owned, regionally based and rurally oriented financial institutions specialized in catering to the credit needs of the neglected and weaker sections of the society. In the recent past, RRBs have become a potent mediator for financial inclusion in rural areas. This paper summarizes the innovative methods used by the employees of these banks in deposit mobilizations, credit expansion and recovery of the loan. The primary purpose of the research is to find the problems faced by officials of these banks in marketing their services to the rural customer. The opinions of these bank officials regarding the above factors and the functioning of these banks and their impact on society have also been studied. For this purpose, a sample of 96 bank officials of Aryavart bank and Purvanchal Bank have been taken from the rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. Methodological tools of the research methods were Frequency and Chi-square test of independence which have been used to test the hypotheses developed in the study. The research empirically confirms and theoretically proves that the employees and staff of these two regional rural banks in the state are making their earnest effort to channelize the savings of rural people by mobilization of deposits by motivating them to deposit their surplus money in the regional rural banks. The bank officials are making efforts to extend credit facilities in rural areas to uplift the people economically. The bank officials are facing problems in deposit mobilization, and credit expansion in the rural areas of the state and they are managing these problems very efficiently. Some political interference was found in the functioning of these banks. In the opinion of these bank officials, the overall working of these regional rural banks is proper. The results of the research can be useful for policymakers in the government to understand the hurdles faced by regional rural banks in reaching to the poor and needy sections of the society. The insights from this paper can help the policymakers to craft innovative schemes which enable these banks to reach the most inaccessible customers in rural areas. Since gaining independence, Kazakhstan has been carrying out active reforms in the field of higher education. This, in turn, led to a systematic policy of transition to a market economy. The research work will include the current state of the higher education sector in Kazakhstan and further development provided for by the Bologna process. In the course of the study, several typologies will be identified to visualize how the education system in Kazakhstan has revolutionized. Analytical methods, such as pie charts and graphs, are also used to analyze research data. The study discusses the need to improve the quality of human capital by improving and modernizing the higher education system. Domestic higher education plays a vital role in the professional training of competent and globally competitive specialists for all sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan.

Malaysia aims to be an information society by the year 2020 can only be achieved if the mass population, that include those who live in the rural area, has the access to use the ICT. This is due to the uneven distribution of the basic telecommunication infostructure between the urban and rural areas in Malaysia that left the rural area to be at the disadvantage to access the ICT. Meanwhile, there are many programs that have been implemented by the government to encourage the rural population to use the Internet, such as ‘Kedaikom’, a community based telecenter serving the rural population. A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate how ‘Kedaikom’ as a community based telecenter could assist in diffusing the usage of the ICT to the rural population. The result from the survey has indicated that the community telecenter could be used to bridge the digital divide between the underserved rural community and the well-accessed urban community. More of the rural population, especially from the younger generation and those with higher education background (irrespective of age) are using the community telecenter to be connected to the Internet.

Online education has gained a lot of acceptance among the learners in the recent past. The advances in technology and changing demand from students and business as well as the possibility for reducing costs and generating income has led to a MOOC explosion. Over the last years, massive open online courses (MOOCs) have received a great deal of attention from the academic community, business, and the media, especially after the World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared COVID-19 as a pandemic in March 2020. The pandemic has caused educational disruption across the globe. Educational institutes faced with the challenge of maintaining the continuity of learning and were almost forced to switch to the online mode. The seemingly simple and immediate solution is to conduct school remotely using online resources. The aim of this study is to investigate the current trends and prediction with respect to the adoption of MOOCs in the Indian higher education system and identify various influencing factors facilitating this adoption.

Indian economy is agricultural economy and real India lies in villages. Without the development of the rural economy, the objectives of economic planning cannot be achieved. Hence, banks and other financial institutions are considered to be a vital role for the development of the rural economy in India. NABARD are playing a pivotal role in the economy development of the rural India. In the Indian context rural development assumes greater significance as nearly 70% of its population lives in rural areas. Most of the people living in rural area draw their livelihood from agriculture and allied sectors. Such areas are distinct from more intensively settled urban and suburban areas. Life styles in rural area are different than those in urban areas, mainly because limited services are available. Governmental services like law enforcement, schools, fire departments may be distant, limited in scope, or unavailable. Rural development is a national necessity and has considerable importance in India. The main objective of the rural development programme is to raise the economic and social level of the rural people. National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is set up as an apex institution by the Government of India with the main objective of providing and regulating credit and other facilities for the promotion of rural development. It is a single integrated organisation which looks after the credit requirements of all types of agricultural and rural development activities. The present study is a modest attempt to the credit potential for agriculture during the year 2021-22. The study covered aspects such as functions, objectives, management and organizational structure, sources of funds, activities achieved, loan assistance to various institutions, Methodology for preparation of potential linked credit plans (PLPs) and Development Projects in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
