<p><em>The purpose of the research was to investigate the intervening effect of trust on the relationship between political promotian and candidate image and selection decision of The Rural Districts Major in Siulak Kecil Hilir. The research of sample was all constituents who used voting rights in the Period of 2016 which accounted for 263 constituents using simple random sampling method. Data was colected through questionnaire with Likert’s scale which analysis using deskriptive qualitative and quantitative as test of validity and reliability, coefisien of determination, hypothesis testing performs hierarchical regression analysis by processing the data using SPSS 19.0 for windows. The result of analysis found that: a) political promotian and candidate image significantly influeced constituens trust and  selection decision of The Rural Districts Major in Siulak Kecil Hilir. b) Constituens trust significantly influeced selection decision. While, c) Constituens trust was  found as intervening variable between political promotian and candidate image and selection decision of The Rural Districts Major in Siulak Kecil Hilir. The research findings provide practical contribution especially for candidates The Rural Districts Major to future  to consider constituents trust and enhancing both political promotion and candidate image.</em></p><p> </p><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan sebagai variabel pemediasi promosi politik dan citra kandidat terhadap keputusan pemilihan Kepala Desa Siulak kecil Hilir Tahun 2016. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pemilih yang menggunakan hak pilihnya yang berjumlah 263 pemilih dengan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan cara acak sederhana. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert yang dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif  kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif seperti uji validitas dan reliabilitas, koefisien determinasi, uji hipotesis dengan analisis regresi bertingkat dengan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS 19.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: a) Promosi politik dan citra kandidat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepercayaan dan keputusan pemilihan Kepala Desa Siulak Kecil Hilir. b) Kepercayaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pemilihan Kepala Desa. Disamping itu, c) Kepercayaan berperan sebagai variabel pemediasi antara promosi politik dan citra kandidat terhadap keputusan pemilihan Kepala Desa Siulak Kecil Hilir, Kerinci. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi praktis khususnya kepada para kandidat Kepala Desa di masa yang akan datang, meningkatkan kepercayaan melalui peningkatan promosi politik dan citra kandidat.</p>

Abstract: Student objectivity in filling out E-EDOM is very necessary, the results of data analysis become the basis for the leadership in making decisions for learning strategies. Previous research has proven that the E-EDOM filling done by students is not objective. Efforts should be made so that students can fill it in seriously. This study aims to determine strategies that can be applied so that students can fill out the E-EDOM very objectively. Starting with analyzing and collecting data through a questionnaire. The Delon and Mclean model is used as a basis for creating questions in the questionnaire and processing the questionnaire data. The data collection technique used a simple random sampling method, with a population of 121 students from Amik Riau STMIK who were active in the 2019-2020 school year. Before processing, the data is tested for validity and reliability. After testing the validity and reliability, then testing the hypothesis to determine the relationship between variables in the Delon and Mc Lean success model. The results showed that each variable showed the effect of a positive relationship that was fully accepted with a value of 0.000. This means that all the variables used in this study are related to one another. Even so, it is necessary to implement several strategies that must be done in an effort to fill out E-EDOM which is very objective by students. Keywords: e-edom, delon and mclean models, objectivity, students. Abstrak: Objektifitas mahasiswa dalam mengisi E-EDOM sangat diperlukan, karena hasilnya akan dijadikan dasar oleh pimpinan dalam mengambil keputusan untuk masalah pembelajaran. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya pengisian E-EDOM yang dilakukan mahasiswa masih banyak yang belum mengisinya dengan sangat objektif. Perlu dilakukan upaya agar mahasiswa dapat mengisinya dengan sunggun-sungguh.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan strategi yang dapat diterapkan supaya mahasiswa dapat mengisi E-EDOM dengan sangat objektif. Diawali dengan melakukan analisa dan pengumpulan data melalui kuisioner. Model Delon and Mclean digunakan sebagai dasar untuk membuat pertanyaan dalam kuisioner dan melakukan pengolahan data kuesioner tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metoda sampling simple random, dengan populasi mahasiswa STMIK Amik Riau yang  aktif pada tahun ajaran 2019-2020 sejumlah 121 orang mahasiswa. Sebelum dilakukan pengolahan, terlebih dahulu data-data tersebut dilakukan uji validitas dan reability. Setelah dilakukan uji validitas dan reability, selanjutnya melakukan uji hipotesis untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variable yang ada pada model Delon and Mc Lean success. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap variable menunjukkan pengaruh hubungan positif dapat diterima seluruhnya dengan nilai 0.000. Artinya semua variable yang digunakan pada penelitian ini memiliki keterkaitan antara satu dengan lainnya. Walaupun demikian perlu diterapkan beberapa strategi yang harus dilakukan dalam upaya pengisian E-EDOM yang sangat objektif oleh mahasiswa. Kata kunci: e-edom, delon and mclean model, mahasiswa, objektifitas.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the capabilities of business performance in creative culinary ventures in Makassar City, Indonesia. Data were obtained from sources using a questionnaire distributed to 1,402 entrepreneurs in the small and medium business category. The sampling method is probability sampling with simple random sampling technique. The number of samples in this study was determined using the Slovin formula of 311 people, totalling 197 respondents who received the questionnaire in full. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with structural equation modelling techniques. The research findings explain dynamic capabilities that are important for enhancing innovation and business performance, as well as to assist future researchers to examine other factors that are predictors in improving business performance.

The purpose of this study is to know and understand the community in the Village Sayati Margahayu District Bandung regency with the development and extension of department store (Convenience Store) "X". The research method is descriptive method using qualitative and quantitative approach as the basis of analysis and interpretation. Sample determination technique used is cluster with simple random sampling method and purposive sampling, which means that the sample used in accordance with the purpose of research. Data which is primary and secondary data. The results showed that people responded positively and variedly about the decision to the extension of the "X" Stores, and only a small portion would be used, but it was only up to the government.

Prosocial behavior is any form of act or activity that is intended to help or give another person the benefit without expecting any reward. One of the factors that can contribute to prosocial behavior is empathy. This study was conducted to identify the relationship between empathy and university students’ prosocial behaviors at one of the schools of engineering. A total of 94 fourth-year engineering students were selected by employing a simple random sampling method in this study. The Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI), and the Prosocial Tendencies Measure (PTM) questionnaires were used to measure empathy and prosocial behavior. The study used descriptive statistical analysis through scores, mean and frequency to measure the level of empathy and prosocial behavior, while inferential statistics used t-test to measure differences in prosocial behavior by gender, and Pearson's correlation to identify the relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior. The findings of the study show that the levels of empathy and prosocial behavior of the respondents are moderate. There was no significant difference of prosocial behavior based on gender. Correlation analysis revealed that there was a relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior. All the dimensions of empathy which are “fantasy”, “perspective-taking”, “empathic concern” and “personal distress” have significant positive relationships with prosocial behavior.

In this study, the relationship between spiritual intelligence and empower in high school staff in region 2 of Tehran is checked. This study sample consisted of 217 people that were selected by random sampling method among high school staff in region 2 of Tehran. For collecting data to test the hypothesis and to test the viewpoints, is used two questionnaires which are made 1) 17-item questionnaire of spiritual intelligence and 2) a questionnaire with 15 items of staff empowerment, which its validity and reliability were confirmed. After collecting the data and required information by the mentioned instruments and particularly through questionnaires, the number of indicators evaluated and information was entered by SPSS software database. In this research hypotheses of research were evaluated and analyzed by statistical analysis according to the questionnaires. It should be noted that for statistical data analysis software SPSS is used. Finally, by evaluation 13 research hypothesis results showed that 13 hypothesis of spiritual intelligence and empowerment of staff in Tehran high schools in Region 2 have a direct connection.

Purpose – Research on the demographic characteristics of top management team (TMT) on e-commerce adoption has really advanced. Although some of such studies factored location factors as e-commerce adoption drivers, rare attempts have been made to unravel if the differences in the demographic composition of TMT and the rate of adoption may be explained by the differences in the firm’s geographical location. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to bridge this knowledge gap by proposing a framework that conceives and measures geographical location as a contextual variable between e-commerce adoption and TMT composition. Design/methodology/approach – Data were generated from the opinions of owners/managers of 226 SMEs drawn purposefully from registered SMEs in five industries located in three geo-political zones of Nigeria. Two cities (a state capital and a commercial nerve centre) were studied and a four-step hierarchical regression (spanning factor-loading) was used to test the hypotheses. Findings – Evidence from the study shows that the hypothesized relationships between demographic factors and e-commerce adoption (main/direct effects) were statistically significant (supporting H1-H4). The two moderators (physical infrastructures and industrial specialization) that explained location factors were equally statistically significant in moderating the relationship between the demographic composition of TMT and e-commerce adoption. Research limitations/implications – Sampling the opinions of SMEs in some industries of three geo-political zones of Nigeria limits the power of generalization. Therefore, extended data and measures are required to replicate the study in order to build external validity and reliability, and possibly theories. Further, some errors seem unavoidable in the course of converting the data through SPSS procedure just as all the measures used appear subjective and prone to common method bias. Other demographic and location factors not captured in the study may be handled by future studies. Originality/value – The work will be of benefit to the academia and practitioners in terms of showing how location factors dictate the relationship between the demographic composition of top management and e-commerce adoption. The paper raises pointers that stimulate future research and advised policy-makers on even or near-even distribution of infrastructural facilities.

This research was carried out using the survey method in an attempt to find out the relationship between the life satisfaction and socio-economic status (SES) of adolescents. The research was conducted among 275 young Turkish people chosen by the random sampling method. The research findings determined that there was a significant difference between the life satisfaction and SES of the respondent students. On the other hand, contrary to expectations, there was no significant difference according to the gender variable.

This study aims to determine the effect of servicescape and brand image on Consumer Satisfaction in SK Coffee Lab. Kediri City. The reason for this research is because there are more and more coffee shops offering product variants, both local and outside coffee, bearing in mind that coffee is currently popular with all people, young and old. The population in this study is not known with certainty so that a sample of 100 respondents was taken with a simple random sampling method. In collecting data used questionnaires, literature and field studies. The analytical methods used in data processing include the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, hypothesis testing and the coefficient of determination. From the results of testing all hypotheses are accepted. The coefficient of determination is quite high and the value of the influence of a brand image that is higher than servicescape on consumer satisfaction proves that the better the brand image of the place, the higher the customer satisfaction.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh servicescape dan brand image terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen di SK Coffee Lab. Kota Kediri. Alasan penelitian ini dilakukan karena semakin banyak dan marak tempat kopi yang menawarkan varian produk baik kopi lokal maupun luar daerah mengingat saat ini kopi digemari oleh seluruh kalangan baik tua maupun muda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini tidak diketahui secara pasti sehingga diambil sampel sebanyak 100 responden dengan metode simple random sampling. Dalam mengumpulkan data digunakan kuesioner, studi pustaka dan lapangan. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam pengolahan data meliputi validitas dan reliabilitas kuesioner, uji hipotesis serta koefisien determinasi. Dari hasil pengujian seluruh hipotesis diterima. Nilai koefisien determinasi yang cukup tinggi serta nilai pengaruh brand image yang lebih tinggi daripada servicescape terhadap kepuasan konsumen membuktikan bahwa semakin baik brand image tempat tersebut, semakin tinggi pula kepuasan konsumen.

Background: The optimal use of research findings is crucial. One of the activities that improves application of research-derived knowledge is the knowledge translation. This study aimed to investigate the status of knowledge translation in Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. Methods: This cross-sectional and descriptive-analytical study was conducted in 2018. The sample size included 143 faculty members of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences selected using the stratified sampling and simple random sampling methods. The required data were collected using a standard knowledge translation questionnaire consisting of 50 items in 4 dimensions. The validity and reliability of the questionnaires were confirmed in the previous studies. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21 by descriptive and analytical statistics. Results: The results showed that overall status of the knowledge translation was weak (2.46 ± 0.67). In this regard, producing useful evidence for decision making (2.77 ± 0.77) and promoting application of evidence (2.33 ± 0.88) had the highest and lowest mean scores, respectively. Furthermore, the overall mean of knowledge translation was significantly different with gender, type of center, and scientific rank (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Given the undesirable and weak status of knowledge translation, creating a culture of knowledge translation, training about knowledge transfer and utilization of research findings, creating incentive mechanisms, developing transparent processes and guidelines, and strengthening the interaction between knowledge producers and research users are essential.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the life satisfaction and leisure satisfaction of employees working in food and beverage establishments. The study was carried out in fine-dining restaurants in Eskisehir, Turkey, and adopted a quantitative paradigm. Eleven food and beverage establishments agreed to participate in the research, and a survey was administered to their employees. The data were obtained using the survey technique, and scales whose validity and reliability have been tested in earlier studies. A cluster sampling method was used, and a group of 156 people participated in the research. The research data were collected between March and June 2014. The results-identified a positive relationship between the leisure satisfaction and life satisfaction of employees working in food and beverage establishments. In addition, no significant differences in leisure satisfaction and life satisfaction were detected according to establishment type or gender. In line with the gained results, some suggestions were made for the executives and researchers of food and beverage establishments.
