This article expands on knowledge about modeling tourism business. The basic scientific problem of the conducted research was the need to modernize the way of doing business in spa tourism enterprises by popularizing the business model and to provide an indication of the elements of the business model that should be grounded in the principles of sustainable spa development. The aim of the article is to present the results of our own research carried out in Polish spa enterprises in 2018. The key scientific issue was to examine the range of use of the business model templates in the management of tourism-treatment activities carried out in spas. Discussing the research results was preceded by a review of the literature on business models and the characteristics of activities carried out by spa tourism enterprises. The conducted research used qualitative methods, especially in-depth interviews, conducted with managers of the largest enterprises of spa tourism in Poland. Quantitative research was also conducted to examine the needs of tourists and patients. Our own scientific research has shown that spa enterprises in Poland very rarely and only within the scope limited to some elements of their activity, use the business model, and are not always aware of the wide range of its applications. As a result of the applications received, a business model dedicated to spa enterprises was developed. The article refers to the overtourism phenomenon in spas and indicates the need to put in business models, which are activities that protect spa areas against excessive pressure on tourism and the exploitation of natural resources.

This study aims to describe and analyze behavioral changes in religious radicalism and the factors that influence these behavioral changes. This type of research is qualitative, using a case study approach—the place of a research area that is categorized as Mataraman culture. The primary consideration is that the character of this region adheres to the notion of integration of religion, culture, and politics, which can be called a society with a harmonious character. The facts on the ground show this community with a culture of harmony has been exposed to radical ideas, especially among teenagers. For example, there were two raids on people suspected of being exposed to radicalism in Tulungagung. Data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman's interactive model. The study results show that changes in behavior to become radical in religion are determined by several factors: the strength of belief, Daulah Islamiyyah as the subjective norm of the group, scriptural studies, and economic programs/activities to improve the welfare of members. These four factors strengthen the birth of the intention to turn into a radical in religion. A firm intention among youth serves to trigger the actualization of radical behavior in religion among youth. Gender-based stereotypes have hampered gender equality in the workplace opportunities, and females face identity crises and labeling by their coworkers, which mitigates their chances to climb on the ladder of Leadership. This study strived to explore female coworkers' perceived identity and the transformation in that perception when those females become leaders and the role of stereotypical thinking in it. With the qualitative approach, this study used case study methods. This research collects the data through nineteen in-depth interviews from private companies, and a framework developed using thematic analysis. The results revealed that employees positively perceive their female coworkers, but they are perceived with stereotypes and negativity when they become their leaders. Organizations need to initiate grooming programs when they promote females for harmony and a productive environment.JEL Classification: M10, M54How to Cite:Baloch, M. N., Samo, A. H., Bhatti, A. Although video game audiences have greatly diversified over recent years, players who are not the stereotypical straight, White, male “gamer” are still frequently viewed as outsiders to online gaming and face harassment because of this status. However, many choose to play games despite this and have developed specific coping strategies they employ to avoid or respond to harassment. Using grounded theory and in-depth interviews with female gamers, this gender-based case study explores women’s strategies for coping with online game-related harassment. It shows that women are first and foremost an active audience, carefully managing their media environment to help ensure positive experiences. At the same time, their strategies come with limitations, such as hiding their contributions to gaming or provoking further harassment. Although women are capable media managers, their continued status as “outsiders” deeply affects their gaming experiences and demonstrates a need for cultural change in online environments.

Thailand is a good example of a developing country which is struggling with globally common problems in trying to find solutions for sustainable education development. Education is one of the important methods to build the mindset of Thai people toward sustainable development (SD). The co-production approach is a way of improving public services, including education for sustainable development (ESD). The study employs qualitative research techniques which aim at studying the implementation and co-production of ESD. Moreover, it is to explore and synthesize the implementation characteristics of co-producing ESD in Thailand. The research found 12 correlated indicators from the literature that link SD, ESD and co-production practices. They were categorized into input, process and output of the cycle of implementing and co-producing ESD. The indicators were examined within the context of the case study of Bansankong School. The researchers conducted in-depth interviews with stakeholders that included representatives from the school administration, families and communities, local authorities, other relevant institutions and volunteers. The results showed that factors in the process portion of the cycle of implementing and co-producing ESD tended to be more significant; these were community engagement, information technology and media usage, and the contingency approach. The factors in the input portion of the process, namely, self-reliance and self-efficiency of population and leadership, and the factor of mutual benefits in the output portion proved to be significant. The other seven factors, cultural adaptation, democratic participation, equitability, goal of sustainable future, interdependence, interdisciplinary approaches and collaborative approach and partnership, appeared to be non-significant.

Despite recent studies suggesting that treatment-emergent sexual dysfunction (TESD) in women is much more prevalent than previously thought, it is not often discussed between physicians and female patients prior to prescribing psychotropic medication. Missing from the available quantitative research on TESD are stories from the women themselves, their experiences with disclosure or lack thereof, and the impact TESD has had on their sense of self and in their relationships. Concerned that this could have a significant influence on women’s mental, emotional, and sexual health, we conducted a study where we interviewed 10 women who self-identified as experiencing TESD after taking psychotropic medications for their mental health. Semistructured, in-depth interviews were conducted, informed by critical feminist practice, and grounded in feminist standpoint theory. Transcripts were then analyzed using thematic analysis to demonstrate the impact TESD had on the lives of these women. Six themes emerged from the interviews: (1) inadequate disclosure about TESD from physicians, (2) gender-based difference in how TESD is discussed, (3) the experience of physical side effects, (4) emotional responses to side effects, (5) concerns about how the partners of women living with TESD experience it, and (6) the importance of knowledge sharing. We conclude this article with a discussion of how these stories fit within the larger social context.
