Solid wastes are those that are found in solid and semi-solid states, resulting from activities of industrial, domestic, hospital, commercial, agricultural, service and sweeping origin. Also included are certain liquids whose particularities prevent the introduction into the public network of sewage or water bodies, as it causes risks to the environment, society and public health, thus requiring technically and economically unviable solutions in view of the best available technology. The purpose of this literature review is to reflect on the influence of knowledge management and organizational learning opportunity in relation to the management of RSS of chemotherapy by employees involved in their work sector. The research was carried out from the search of articles in the digital databases Medline, Lilacs, Scielo and CAPES journals, using keywords within the subject. Knowledge management does not yet have a universal framework or a well-established methodology. Several authors that the process of knowledge management is characterized as a way to promote the ability of the individual or the community to organize, create, incorporate, share and integrate concepts in a consistent way. Knowledge Management associated with the Learning Opportunity can be a great tool for the management of the RSS of chemotherapy, as well as for a greater learning, acceptance and search for knowledge by the employees who deal directly with the abovementioned residues.

Since you were interested in some casual remarks I made concerning the dispersion of our medical training resources in this country, I am going to impose on your patience by further expanding the subject. Much has been said and written lately about the shortage of physicians and allied technical personnel. In spite of the fact that we have more physicians per thousand population than any other major country, we are constantly being told that we face a critical shortage of doctors and that something must be done about it. It is true that the demand of the general population for health services has vastly increased. Whether this increase is due to an intelligent understanding by more people of what good medicine can offer, or to overindulgence in the luxuries of medicine, may be open to question. The fact remains, however, that in spite of a constant increasing number of doctors per thousand, and greater productivity of the individual physician by reason of better transportation, improved mechanical aids, and an increased number of technical assistants, the load on medicine steadily increased. This load has been diminished in no way by dividing "Gaul" not into three parts, but into six. This alleged shortage of doctors and other health personnel is partly due to faulty distribution but it is also to a considerable extent an artificial creation brought about by unnecessary expansion of government medical services.

The limits, purpose and scope of academic freedom have been the subject of media controversy, partly because academic freedom and academic integrity are close relatives, the occasional missing link being research ethics. While freedom and integrity should protect each another, it is difficult for institutions and those who navigate them to balance competing and conflicting demands. Some of these demands are at the institutional level and others at the individual level. The purpose of this paper is to tease out some of the issues which are often too sensitive to articulate in the public square.

The article concerns the issue of common good in the activity of public administration. It is exactly the aspects of this “good” which have a direct influence on the motives behind administrative actions. It turns out that what is “common” can be understood as pertaining to entire society, but also in relation to individual interests. The public administration, although traditionally connected only to the public interest, also implements the good of the individual and this not only indirectly, as it has been noted in the literature of the subject so far, but also independently. Because the common good has its different aspects in the sense that it does not have to mean only values of a strictly general dimension. This may be significant for the definitional purpose to the very administration itself and testifies, at the same time, to the multidimensional nature of contemporary public administration. The considerations are developed with reference to potential relations of public interest and the individual one, in which the most important place is occupied by conflict of these interests.

Projetos Criativos Ecoformadores. Práticas Pedagógicas. ABSTRACT: This paper provides a piece of investigation on contributions from the methodologic proposal called Ecoformation Creative Project (PCE) in the process of transdisciplinary teaching and learning as a way of changing. In this sense, we have conducted the following question for the investigation: which contributions has PCE given as a method in the process of transdisciplinary teaching and learning for 7th-grade children with the subject of sustainability? The context of the investigation happened in a7th-grade class in a primary school at the public network of education of Timbó Grande/SC. Concerning its nature, the investigation is classified as qualitative, and concerning its procedure it is a book-based action-research. We have drawn on Morin (2000, 2002), Galvani (2020), Mallart (2008), Torre (2008), Torre & Zwierewicz (2009), Moraes (2010), Silva & Torre (2015). To analyse data we used conceptual organisers of PCE. Research results have shown that PCE’s contributions mean compromise with creative, innovating and transdisciplinary education. As a conclusion, we have shown that PCE methodology favours a process of teaching and learning that is transdisciplinary, challenging, and consistent with needs of local reality articulated with global needs. Moreover, the investigation enabled the teaching practice self-assessment with novel understanding of the teaching process. Keywords: Transdisciplinarity. Ecoformation. Ecoforming creative projects. Teaching practices.

Contemporary legislation, not only criminal and criminal proceedings law, has entered a new stage, that is currently underway and that is reflected in significant reforms and new legislation, as well as seeking new solutions to increase efficiency in preventing and combating domestic violence. The Republic of Serbia embarked on this path by adopting the Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, which should primarily intensify the preventive action of the competent state bodies in cases of domestic violence. The Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence started to be applied on June 1, 2017 and given the fact that it has been applied for the past three years, it is necessary to carry out an adequate analysis and to evaluate whether it has increased efficiency when it comes to combating domestic violence. In this regard, the subject of this paper is primarily the analysis of the practical application of urgent measures provided by the Law imposed by the police, the public prosecutor and the court. This research will cover a period of two years of applying of the law, i.e. the period from June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2019. During the research, the statistical method was used along with the methods of analysis, deduction, comparison and description. The paper will analyse: both the total and the individual number of urgent measures imposed by the police; territorial distribution of the imposed urgent measures on the territory of the Republic of Serbia; imposing of extended urgent measures by the court, and a significant aspect of this research will be dedicated to the issue of violations of the imposed urgent measures.

PurposeThis paper aims to analyse the relationship between the organizational commitment, the knowledge transfer and the knowledge management maturity at a Brazilian public university. As indicated in the literature, the organizational commitment and the influence on knowledge management in the public sector, especially in developing countries, configures an important gap to be filled (Razzaq et al., 2018).Design/methodology/approachThe research has a descriptive and quantitative nature, and to run the analysis, an exploratory factorial analysis was conducted and after that a structural equations modelling was carried out.FindingsThe results indicated a significant relationship between the organizational commitment to the knowledge transfer and, consequently, to the knowledge management maturity.Originality/valueIn the first place, the model including all dimensions of commitment: affective, calculative and normative with knowledge transfer and knowledge maturity was not tested before. Second, data on the public sector in developing countries are still rare and studies in this field encouraged (Razzaq et al., 2018). In this case, the present study contributes in this field, specifically in the education sector. Finally, understanding the individual commitment profile helps to understand the extent to which that person contributes both to the knowledge transfer, and therefore, in the same analogy, to the knowledge management maturity level.

We are introducing the “Model standard of the public library”, where I once read that "scores can be expressed from zero to ten". Is it worth talking about quality in general, if we allow that one of the indicators can be zero? The evaluation of quality is the subject of the study of science, which is called qualimetry The one of founders of qualimetry was G. Azgaldov. However, there are still a lot of people willing to write about the evaluation of quality so that not a word to say about qualimetry. They did not read the books of Azgaldov, and some even dispense with the term qualimetry. Without knowing the qualimetry, we make an obvious methodological error in the assessment of quality. What can be done with digital indicators "from zero to ten"? It's obvious: fold it! You can also divide the amount obtained by the number of indicators: you get a certain "average"... with "zero" quality for one indicator. The quality of the "individual indicator" does not compensate for the lack of quality in another indicator. Too much quality in one does not cover shortcomings in the other: quality in quantitative terms is not summarized. Each indicator should be expressed in the form of a decimal fraction, with the norm (the standard of quality) being the score of 1. The cumulative quality of the object is expressed by multiplying the indicators. There can not be at least one indicator equal to zero (multiplying any integer by zero yields zero). Even if at least one indicator from many equals 0.1 or 0.2, the cumulative index falls so low that it makes us ashamed to talk about any quality! Another interesting and very important regularity for us is connected with the number of parameters for which an estimate is made - as the number of parameters increases, the quality assurance problems increase dramatically. Thus, a conditionally "permissible" cumulative estimate of 0.7 with a number of indicators equal to 7 can be obtained only if each of them is not lower than 0.9. It is necessary to think whether it is worthwhile to express an abstract "score" on the evaluation of the quality of work, which in one case "pulls" for two thousand hours, and in another characterizes the work of the library for many years?

THE remedial aspects of judicial review illustrate in particularly vivid form the divergent nature of public and private law proceedings. The prerogative orders–mandamus, certiorari and prohibition–are available only via judicial review. Leave is required for judicial review but not for private law actions. By contrast with the private law writ procedure, judicial review must be brought promptly and within three months. In judicial review, a remedy can still be denied to the applicant who establishes a substantive case. As the Law Commission made clear in its Report Administrative Law: Judicial Review and Statutory Appeals, “[j]udicial review often involves values and policy interests, which must be balanced against and may transcend the individual interests, which are normally the subject of litigation between private citizens” (Law Com. No. 226, para. 2.1).
