The purpose of this study was to describe how to implement the REACT strategy to develop students’ mathematical representation, reasoning, and disposition ability. This research was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subject of this study was grade 8 junior high school student in Bandung. Data collection techniques in this study with observations, interviews, and documentation. Based on data analysis results, it could be concluded that REACT strategies can be applied to develop a mathematical representation, reasoning, and disposition ability that engages students actively. Implementation of the REACT strategy runs smoothly and gets enthusiastic responses from students. The application of REACT strategies should be undertaken sustainably so that the learning objectives can be achieved by integrating various mathematical skills that were capable.

Researching aims to know the ability of teachers in drafting device of learning in Junior High School the country Mother Subdistrict of West Halmahera Regency.this is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The population in this research, is a teacher-teacher Mother in Subdistrict 5 IPS schools with numbered 8 teachers. Engineering data collection i.e. observation, interview and documentation.The validity of the data in this study using triangular techniques i.e. checking from a variety of sources in different ways. Qualitative data analysis techniques, namely, the reduction of the data, the presentation of the data, and draw conclusions. Based on the results of the it can be concluded that: the ability of a teacher in drawing up a learning device in Sub junior's mother is still having difficulty in integrating various social material into SK/KD/indicators as well as the selection of appropriate learning materials.Keywords: teacher trouble, IPS, Device learning

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui kebutuhan program eduwisata TBM Teras Baca Guyub Rukun dan diperoleh rencana program pendidikan pokdarwis berbasis eduwisata TBM. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Pengelola TBM, tutor, masyarakat, dan ahli. Setting dalam penelitian adalah aktivitas TBM. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data didukung oleh triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kebutuhan program eduwisata TBM berupa pembentukan kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdawis). (2) diperoleh rencana program pendidikan pokdarwis berbasis eduwisata yang terdiri dari (a) input (b) proses (c) output, dan (d) outcome. Oleh karenanya, perlu ada tindakan pemberdayaan TBM dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terutama program pendidikan pokdarwis berbasis eduwisata.Kata kunci: Kebutuhan, program, eduwisata, TBM AbstractThis research aims to: find out the needs of the program Eduwisata TBM and obtained the Plan education program Pokdarwis based Eduwisata TBM. This research was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subject of this study is the management of TBM, tutors, local community and expert. The Setting in the study is TBM.  Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman models, namely the reduction of the data, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions. The validity of the data is supported by the source triangulation and method. The results of this research show that: (1) the need of program eduwisata TBM in the form of tourism Conscious Group (Pokdawis). (2) obtained the Plan of Education program Pokdarwis based eduwisata TBM consisting of (a) inputs (b) process includes (c) outputs and  (d) outcomes. This research is backed by a low interest condition of reading communities among children and adolescents in Kp. BBC Village of Cihampelas West Bandung Regency. Especially the students in the junior high School of Insan Litera and any strategy that can be used as an effort to inspire reading. The purpose of this research is (1) to know the strategy to build a community to learn. (2) To know the process of student Readathon activity in Sekolah Alam SMP Insan Litera. The theories used in this research include the concept of community fond of learning, and the concept of Readathon. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The location of research in Sekolah Alam SMP Insan Litera which is under the auspices of Bening Saguling Foundation and which is the subject of research is all students of Sekolah Alam SMP Insan Litera, amounting to 11 people, principals, and also representatives of one teacher. Based on the research results that Readathon has carried out well. In this readathon there are several activities carried out consisting of 4 stages of 1) the implementation of Readathon routinely once a week, carried out on Thursday. With the target one student finished reading one book one week. 2) reading book read by PPL students who act as tutors. 3) Discussion of read books packed with fun games or quizzes. 4) Create a geulis tree (literacy Movement) where the student who has completed reading one book writes his name and the title of his book later in the Geulis tree. The condition of learning interest in students is also quite high, visible from students ' participation in following learning programs.

RESUMOObjetivo: Identificar o significado para o enfermeiro em prestar cuidados para pacientes com Depressão.  Materiais e métodos: Estudo exploratório e descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, a amostra foi de 12 enfermeiras, o cenário de estudo foram Unidades Básicas de Saúde e Estratégias de Saúde da Família, urbanas da cidade de Itajubá-MG. A coleta de dados foi por meio do roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada composta por questionário contendo uma pergunta inerente ao assunto. Resultados: Encontramos oito categorias como estigma da depressão, suicídio, dificuldade em lidar, tempo escasso, envolvimento familiar, aceitação da doença, acolhimento e dar medicamento, de acordo com os discursos dos sujeitos coletados na entrevista. Conclusão: Os enfermeiros não estão em contato direto com portadores de depressão no seu trabalho, não entendem que é sua tarefa identificar e encaminha-los para tratamento especializado. Sugerimos que outros estudos sejam desenvolvidos sobre essa temática.Palavras-chave: Depressão. Relação Enfermeiro-Paciente. Assistência de Enfermagem. ABSTRACTObjective: To identify the meaning for nurses when providing care for patients with depression. Materials and Methods: exploratory and descriptive study with qualitative approach, the sample consisted of 12 nurses, the study scenario was the urban Unidades Básicas de Saúde e Estrategia de Saúde da Família, in the city of Itajubá. Data collection was done through semi-structured interview guides consisting of a questionnaire containing a question related to the subject. Results and Discussion: we found eight categories as stigma of depression, suicide, coping difficulties, scarce time, family involvement, acceptance of the disease, host and give medicine, according to the speeches of the subjects collected in the interview. Conclusion: nurses are not in direct contact with individuals with depression in their work, do not understand that it is their job to identify and refer them to specialized treatment. We suggest that other studies be developed on this theme.Keywords: Depression, Nurse-patient Relationship, Nursing care.

Islamic Religious Education is an important and inseparable part of the educational curriculum in Indonesia. Besides being an obligation for its adherents, Islamic learning can instill the values of faith and make students possess noble morals (akhlakul karimah). This study aims to examine and discuss how the implementation process of Islamic education in instilling noble morals in students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Islamic Junior High School). This study uses a qualitative approach with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing as the data analysis. The sample of this study was the principal of the madrasah, vice-principal, students, and teachers of Islamic education in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Makassar. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that through the implementation of Islamic Religious Education, the students could possess noble characters. There are eight behaviors that are applied to instill the noble characters, namely habituating the smiles, salaam, and greetings, mutual respect (tolerance), sunnah fasting on Monday and Thursday, performing the Duha prayer, performing dhuhr prayers, reciting the Quran, congregational prayer, and getting used to alms giving (infaq). These eight commendable behaviors are recommended for teachers and principals to be applied in their respective schools.

For muslims, Arabic language is more important than the other languages. One of the ways to understand Arabic is learn about it. Learning strategies have an important role in learning Arabic, including learning vocabulary. But, in reality Many students feel difficult to learn Arabic, especially in mastering mufradat and other materials. One of the reasons is the wrong process when studying mufradat. This paper describes the implementation of mind mapping strategy in learning Arabic vocabulary at Junior High School (SMP) Alam Banyuwangi. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with three data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that mind mapping strategy can help the teachers to solve the problem of learning Arabic, especially to improve students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary. Because mind maps use visual and sensory reminders in a pattern of related ideas. This map evokes original ideas and triggers memories easily.

Objetivo: descrever a experiência vivenciada por pacientes submetidos ao cateterismo cardíaco à luz do Intervencionismo Simbólico. Método: estudo descritivo com abordagem qualitativa. Entrevistas do tipo narrativa foram utilizadas como instrumento de coleta de dados. A amostra foi composta por sete pacientes submetidos ao cateterismo cardíaco de diagnóstico. A análise foi ancorada a partir do Interacionismo Simbólico de Blumer. O trabalho foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética do Hospital Agamenon Magalhães sob o número 01536912.9.0000.5197. Resultados: diante da análise dos depoimentos emergiram as seguintes categorias: o medo como simbologia frente ao cateterismo cardíaco; o coração como símbolo da dualidade entre a vida e a morte; a figura onipotente do médico na decisão sobre a vida do paciente; e expectativas do pós cateterismo. Conclusão: os pacientes que se submetem ao cateterismo enfrentam sentimentos de ansiedade, medo e insegurança, mas também esperança e novas perspectivas para o futuro.ABSTRACTObjective: to describe the experience faced by patients undergoing to cardiac catheterization in a public hospital in Recife. Method: descriptive study, with qualitative approach. Narrative interviews were used as data collection instrument. Sample consisted of seven patients submitted to cardiac catheterization. Data analysis was anchored from the Blumer’s Symbolic Interaction. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Agamenon Magalhães Hospital under the number 01536912.9.0000.5197. Results: after statements analysis, the following categories emerged: fear as initial symbology of the cardiac catheterization; the heart as a symbol of duality between life and death; the omnipotent figure of the phisycian in the decision on the patient’s life; and expectations of post catheterization. Conclusion: patients undergoing catheterization face feelings of anxiety, fear and insecurity, but also hope and new prospects for the future. RESUMENObjetivo: describir la experiencia que enfrentan los pacientes sometidos a cateterismo cardíaco en un hospital público de Recife. Método: estudio descriptivo, con enfoque cualitativo. Las entrevistas narrativas se usaron como instrumento de recopilación de datos. La muestra consistió en siete pacientes sometidos a cateterismo cardíaco. El análisis de datos se basó en la interacción simbólica de Blumer. El estudio fue aprobado por el Comité de Ética de Investigación del Hospital Agamenon Magalhães con el número 01536912.9.0000.5197. Resultados: después del análisis de las declaraciones, surgieron las siguientes categorías: miedo como simbología inicial del cateterismo cardíaco; el corazón como símbolo de dualidad entre la vida y la muerte; la figura omnipotente del médico en la decisión sobre la vida del paciente; y las expectativas de post cateterismo. To achieve vision, mission and the objectives of an institution is determined by capability of the teachers. The development and improvement of teacher must be done systematically, systematic, and be oriented to the four teacher proficiencies. This study aims to determine of how the pattern on increasing the teacher competence in Islamic Junior High School, Banda Aceh, using descriptive methods and the data collection is through observations, interviews and documentation. The subject of the study is head master of the school, chairmen of MGMP, teacher supervisor. The study also uses qualitative analysis. The study shows that: 1) the improvement of the teacher competence at MTsN Banda Aceh has not been supported by realistic program, comprehensive and operational. 2). The implementation of improving the teacher competence is not supported through teacher needs-based program in order to be implemented systematically, well-planned, and sustainably, 3) There is still many internal and external obstacles in implementing the teacher competence through school headmaster supervision and the supervisors could not reach the expected target.

ABSTRACT  Management is a process of activities that are planned and carried out intentionally and continuously to all students in the relevant educational institutions in order to be able to participate in the learning and teaching process effectively and efficiently.  Learning achievement is the level of humanity students have in accepting, rejecting and assessing the information obtained in the teaching and learning process.  A person's learning achievement is in accordance with the level of success of something in learning subject matter which is expressed in the form of grades or report cards for each field of study after experiencing the teaching and learning process.  This study aims to determine the extent of implementation, acceptance, student management, efforts made, as well as the implications of the application of student management in At-Thiriiriah Junior High School in improving the quality of students.  This study uses a qualitative approach using a type of case study research by taking a background in At-Thiriahah Junior High School, Gunung Bunder I, Pamijahan, Bogor.  Data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation.  Data analysis uses descriptive analysis method.  Based on the process of data collection and data analysis, researchers can conclude several things including: (1) The application of student management that takes place at At-Thiriahah IT Junior High is classified as good, where the concept of student management starts from the  planning and implementation of new students, monitoring or control and evaluation can be applied by all at IT Thohiriah Junior High School.  (2) In an effort made by schools related to student management to improve the quality of students in At-Thiriahah Junior High School, among others: improving discipline including a).  At-Thiriahah Junior High School students arrive at 07.00 WIB, b) Wearing Uniforms.  (3) As for the implications of the implementation of student management to improve the quality of students in At-Thiriah Gunung Bunder I Junior High School, seen from the academic achievement in the form of UN scores that have increased, non-academic achievements achieved  by At-Thiriahah IT Middle School students have also increased, and graduates of At-Thiriiriah IT Middle School were accepted into public and private schools.  Keywords: Student Management, Academic Quality of Students

The subject of the study in this study are: 1) The form of the problems caused in providing maple PAI reinforcement conducted by the teacher, 2) How to overcome the problems faced by the teacher in providing PAI map reinforcement. This study uses a qualitative approach, with a type of descriptive data analysis. This data collection is obtained through interviews, observation and documentation analysis. The informants from this study were principals, teachers and some students in the research location. The technique used to check data credibility is the extension of the presence of researchers and in-depth observation and triagulation. The results show that the problems caused in providing reinforcement are a) learning methods that are considered less varied by the teachers, b) learning media that are considered to be less qualified, c) internal and external factors of students which are the problems of PBM's success, d) Uneven human and natural resource problems. Whereas ways to overcome these problems include: a) including MGMP program teachers, b) Making maximum use of learning media, c) Conducting good communication networks for all parties, d) Pairing between the smart and the less intelligent.
