The article is devoted to teaching the Russian language to the pupils of schools at the embassies of the Russian Federation and the necessity of using the event-based approach for forming and improving communicative universal educational activities (hereinafter UEA). In modern educational reality, when children become pupils of multi-ethnic classes in Foreign Ministry schools regardless of their proficiency in the Russian language, it is necessary to create conditions allowing to form their communicative competence not only at Russian language lessons, but also in extracurricular time. One of conditions of learning Russian is the use of event-based approach to organizing language education, in particular, participation in network projects of Russian Foreign Ministry foreign schools’ interaction. The theoretical significance of the article lies in the fact that due to the conceptual properties of the event approach, its necessity and effectiveness for improving communicative UEA in a multi-ethnic school are justified. The practical significance of the article is that within the framework of the event approach, a model of a network project for Foreign Ministry foreign schools with rhetorical competencebased tasks has been developed. The model allows to achieve a synergetic educational effect in Russian language learning. The described educational event for pupils results in discovering personal and subject meanings through communication, as well as understanding the value of their own speech experience in Russian. The authors conclude about the need to use the event-based approach in a multi-ethnic school, which allows to create an open communicative situation in the Russian language. The directions of further scientific and methodological work could be expanding the list of communicative educational events implemented within this approach, creating the guidelines and their implementation in the practice of multi-ethnic schools.

One of the most important tasks of innovative language education and language policy of Russia is to comprehend the Russian language as a powerful factor that forms a sense of human involvement in the socio-cultural creation, as well as the civilizational transformation of Russia and the world. The Russian language and culture preservation, development, and dissemination (both in arts, the cultural sector, as well as science and technology) is according to the authors an imperative of stability, security, and competitiveness of Russia in the globalizing world. A special role in determining strategies and tactics of teaching the Russian language in the paradigm of a new lifestyle of mankind and the global educational environment belongs to electronic, digital, and telecommunication technologies. The subject of the present study is the educational language process, organized based on computer (digital) technologies and the optimal implementation of the linguistic and didactic qualities of electronic learning tools. The objective of the study is to determine the goals, subject matter, methods, forms, and means of computer linguodidactics, aimed at substantiating the laws and determining effective ways of language learning by means of info-communication resources. The paper outlines the research methods of the innovative language education system as well as linguo-didactic abilities of computer tools in the formation of multilevel Russian-language communicative competence and its individual components in students. The authors suggest the ways and means of updating and enrichment of professional-pedagogical competence of the Russian language teachers in the use of information and communication technologies, as well as in defining the prospects in the educational interaction (electronic, network) of teachers and students, contributing to maintaining the competitiveness of domestic language education and the pedagogical community.

The author characterizes the language policy of post-Maidan Ukraine (2014-2020) in the South and East of the country as a method of consolidating ethnocracy in the process of nation-building. An assessment of the state and trends in the historiography of the problem is given. Ethnodemographic changes in the structure of the population, as well as public opinion in the South and East of Ukraine over the period from 1989 to 2020 were revealed. The intentions of the language policy of Ukraine are revealed. The ineffectiveness of international influence to ensure compliance with democratic norms of language policy is noted. Russian Russian language policy is defined as the destruction of institutions of Russian-language education and mass media in the Russian language, the weakening of Russian ethnic identity, carried out by the state authorities of Ukraine. An important factor in de-Russification is the armed conflict in the Donbas, which has become a catalyst for the transition to ethnocracy in Ukraine. At the same time, the unrecognized states in Donbass maintain the equality of languages on their territory. It is concluded that the dual (mixed) identity of residents of the South and East of the country is preserved at the regional and local levels. At the same time, the Russian-speaking community in the South and East of the country remains politically weak and disorganized, and is subject to targeted discrimination. The political consequences of forced ukrainization, as well as resistance to ethnocracy in public opinion and voting in elections, are determined.

The setting of humanistic concept of education demands the revision of the whole lingvodidactic system of foreign language learning. On the modern stage of the development of pedagogy that allows to put theory into the practice of teaching and assessment of students’ achievements the search for educational models is especially actual. The most important area of the realization of humanistic approach is school education as the development of students’ personality takes place particularly at school age. The article analyses a lingvodydactic model of the competence assessment in writing. The main aim of the working out of this model is to overcome the contradiction between a formal way of assessment which is objective and the necessity of the creation of the conditions for students’ full personal self-expression. This system is being approbated in the Russian language learning as a foreign language in Latvian schools.

This article studies the Russian verb and its grammatical and semantic information in three dictionaries by Klevtsova S. D., Voskanyan G.A., Ovchinnikova I.K., which are the most relevant diction-aries at present and most often used while learning the Russian language in Iranian universities. In this work the problems with which Iranian students are faced while searching verb forms in these dictionaries are considered. By comparing these dictionaries in terms of the content and information contained in each entry, the author lists the differences between these dictionaries and points out the lack of some information necessary for Iranian students to learn. It seems that updating the content of the mentioned diction-aries will not only help to optimize the Russian language learning process by Iranian students at different educational levels, but also to solve translation problems.

The topic matter of the research is the system of methods, forms and means of organizing the project-research activities among middle school students in the Russian language classes. This fact determines the work as practice-oriented: the authors of the article make an attempt to formulate and propose their own topics of projects and researches in Russian lessons within project-research activity in accordance with the feasibility and expected substantive studying outcomes. In the course of the work, with the aim of a comprehensive analysis of the indicated issue at different stages, general scientific methods were used: the method of continuous sampling; systematization and generalization; observation, analysis, classification, descriptive-analytical method; modeling method, which altogether have provided a full picture. Among the most significant results of the study, the author’s development of themes and a construct (algorithm with development and description) of the project-research activity of 5-7 grades schoolchildren within the modern directions of linguistics with possible subsequent implementation in Russian lessons and/or in extracurricular activities as a way to achieve a fairly wide range of substantive studying outcomes is showed up. The work’s resulting outcomes determine the practical significance of the research: the research materials can be used in the Russian language classes, in the organization of research activities for middle and high school students, in the development of special courses and special seminars, in the compilation of textbooks on relevant subject. The work concludes the next: the topic matter of project-research activity should be reasonable, appropriate for children’s age in order to increase students’ interest in learning and participation in project-research activity. It is especially important to ensure that they can understand its structure: their own goals in this activity, possible methods of solutions, etc. It is also important that students can search for information on their own, present their project or its fragment, etc.
