The rapid IT development has brought us to the different level of an era; information openness. The information is now easily accessed through the internet. It is believed that the internet comes with many things that benefited human life. Despite its advantages, the internet also will bring problems if it is improperly used. To cope with the problems, it is important to create a safe, clean, and positive internet environment. A positive internet program, initiated by Kemkominfo Indonesia, is actively distributed to achieve this goal. We observed whether this program is feasible to be applied in a university. Our experiment object is students in Universitas Islam Ar-raniry Banda Aceh. We found that most of the students, about more than 90%, believe that a positive internet environment is important to be implemented. Moreover, a positive internet environment also will give positive impact to their personality and behavior. To realize the implementation, we have compared DNS filtering products which are able to block negative-content websites. Form our experiments, we recommend that the university apply DNS Nawala because it performs better by blocking more than 40% tested negative websites, compared to the other tested DNS products. So regarding the opinion of the students, DNS Nawala is feasible to be implemented to realize a clean, safe, and positive internet environment

This condition also results in conventional rickshaws having decreased orders. The presence of online transportation causes competition such as injustice over the unequal income of each rickshaw puller and the increasing number of passengers in online transportation. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection is done by conducting observations, interviews (interviews), documentation. The results showed that the characteristics inherent in conventional pedicab drivers are male, poorly educated, do not know the age limit, are Muslim and predominantly come from the Acehnese tribe. The presence of online application-based transportation in Banda Aceh has a positive impact in meeting the needs of transportation that is practical, safe, comfortable, and inexpensive, on the other hand online transportation has had an impact on conventional transportation namely conventional Pedicab drivers, Pedicab driver income has decreased orders so that driver deposit income conventional pedicabs are reduced every day. The presence of online transportation makes unsettled conventional rickshaw drivers, so online transportation drivers are less liked by conventional rickshaw drivers. Keywords: Impact, Conventional Pedicab, Online.

Population growth and urbanization have led to an increase in the rate of waste production, the lack of timely and proper management of which will have adverse effects on human life and the environment. Since most of the waste management costs are spent on waste collection and transportation, it is necessary to find solutions to control the huge costs of this sector. On the other hand, today, intelligent technologies are used globally as solutions to meet challenges in various fields such as agriculture to improve agro-industrial production, transportation, and waste management, which creates a concept called smart cities. One of the categories that has changed the concept of cities and made them have easier and smarter answers to various events and needs is the "Internet of Things", in which many cases and infrastructures with new hardware technologies and Software are integrated. Waste collection is no exception to this rule and efforts have been made to make it smarter. In this research, some of the latest innovations presented globally in order to make trash smarter have been examined.

The activity of memorizing Quran has been a custom of Muslims since the time of Prophet Muhammad May Peace be upon Him. When the internet developed and became an inseparable part of human life, it was feared to harm the achievement of Quran memorizing. To prove the truth of that concern, this quantitative research was conducted. The research is aimed at measuring the relationship between the duration and variety of internet access with the achievements of hafidz Quran (memorizers). The data are obtained by survey, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed statistically, presented and interpreted descriptively. The results show that internet access’ duration, and its utilization, such as processes, contents, and social forms have significant and positive relationships towards the achievement of the hafidz. On the other hand, the internet use intended for fun or as an escape to release stress does not have a significant relationship with the performance of the hafidz. Keywords: internet access; internet usage; Quran memorization

The subject of this contribution is the influence of Swiss Private International Law (PIL) on the Italian codification. This topic could be regarded as rather old-fashioned. One of the terms of the comparison, the Italian statute of private international law, goes back to May 1995 and the other, the Swiss PIL Act, is even older, almost “prehistoric” since it was adopted in 1987 and entered into force on the 1st January 1989, that means in an era which preceded the advent of the Internet and the “Information Society.” Not even the idea of comparing these two pieces of legislation is an entirely new one, since a very accurate comparative analysis of the two codifications has already been done by Mr. Dutoit, professor of PIL and comparative law at the University of Lausanne, in an article of 1997.

At the very beginning of the 21st century, some experts agreed that the dispersal of the political and cultural initiative of network societies tends to reduce the unified control over political and cultural activities. This process leads to the accessibility of information to the general population and increases the scale of democratization of society. The accessible Internet environment has had a positive impact on the openness of information; however, it has harmed the protection of users' data. Gerald Cohen, a professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, who is an expert in intellectual property and copyright protection, recommends considering Internet utopianism through a system of legal values. It is important to note the utopianism that links the Internet network and human independence considering utopianism in the field of anonymity in more detail, as something that harms social institutions. Cohen also outlines the view that existing legal institutions are the basis for protecting human independence, as well as the importance of creating new legal institutions.

The Internet opens a library of wealth to the student and educator but it also makes it easy for students to copy when writing assignments. In this paper, we will look at how Wawasan Open University implemented plagiarism-detection software in its course delivery. In 2010, the university introduced the compulsory usage of an online plagiarism-detection software known as Turnitin (Turnitin TM). Students are required to scan their assignments using the service before submitting them for grading. In this study, we observed two different course clusters; one cluster is numerically-based and the other is narrative-based. We observed the Similarity Index Report on student assignments from four courses in two programmes from the 2011 cohort. The courses are Business Accounting II, Auditing and Assurance in Malaysia, Human Resource Management, and Organisational Behaviour. Our findings suggested that plagiarism detection software can be useful for courses that require a studentto demonstrate a strong sense of originality in their assignments. Essentially, the software would provide additional advantages in any narrative management course where it is the intention of the instructor to ensure that students demonstrate a high level of creativity. However, courses that require students to conform to any regimen should not be subjected to the anti-plagiarism process as this is futile, as in the case of many numerical and mathematical courses. Courses that require a high level of verbatim citation such as law, assurance, literature and divinity would not work very well with the software. The inability of current software to differentiate between patterns and strings of plagiarism and cited work makes this exercise futile.
