This research is motivated by teenage emotional turmoil and adolescent problem is generally caused by social role conflict, aggressive behavior is a manifestation of anger. This study aims to: (1) describe anger, (2) describe aggressive behavior in adolescents, (3) examine how correlated anger and aggressive behavior in adolescents. This research uses quantitative method of correlational descriptive type. The population of the study were all students of MTsS Lab.IKIP Al Washliyah Medan which amounted to 409 people, a sample of 203 people, selected by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used the Likert scale model to measure anger correlation with aggressive behavior in adolescents. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, correlation. using Pearson Correlation. The research findings show that: (1) angry picture is in moderate category, (2) description of aggressive behavior is in medium category, (3) angry relationship with aggressive behavior in adolescent correlation of 0.229 and significance level 0,001. The implications of these research results can be used as input to create a program of guidance and counseling services that can control anger and self-control in behaving aggressively in students aged teenagers at MTs.S Lab IKIP Al Washliyah Medan.

The purpose of this research to describe self control and truant behavior students and examine the relationship between self control with the behavior of truant students. This research applied quantitative method and descriptive correlational design, with a sample of 234 students,  that drawn by Propotional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instrument of this research was a scale of Likert model. Hypothesis testing of research using the formula Pearson Product Moment Correlation with SPSS for mindows release 20.00. The results showed: (1) on average,  the truant behavior of class X and XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang was 19.86 hours of lessons in 2 months, (2) on average,  class X and XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang self control was 108.24 at the high category, (3) there was significant negative of self-control with truant behavior of students, with a correlation coefficient -0.289  significance level 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. This research can be used as an analysis of the needs of students for the teacher of guidance and counseling for the manufacture of guidance and counseling services programs at SMA Negeri 7 Padang.

Information service as one type of guidance and counseling services in schools has lost its function in helping students to control themselves from performing sexual harassment. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of information service in improving students’ self control against sexual harassment. This is a quantitative research with an experimental design. The research population is students of a Vocational School in Padang and the sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Data collection was performed through a questionnaire on self-control and data were analyzed using t test. The results of the test reveal that information service is effective in improving students’ self control against sexual harassment, with the help of Guidance and Counseling teachers/ the school’s Counselor to prevent sexual harassment in schools.

This study aims to determine the competence of BK (Guidance and Counseling) students as prospective counselors in implementing group guidance services (BKp). This study used a descriptive quantitative method. The sample was determined by using a purposive sampling technique. Likert scale model was chosen as the instrument of this research. The research subjects were BK students of IAIN Batusangkar in the 2019/2020 academic year. The results revealed that the students’ competency in implementing group guidance services are divided into four categories, they are the competence at transitional stage which is the lowest (63%), competence at activity stage which is in high category (83%), competence at conclusion is categorized low (73%), and last competence at the final stage which is moderate (77%). The research findings have an impact on producing reliable prospective counselors in the future by having the competence to provide group guidance services.

Academic procrastination was one of behavior of students who defer to the task. Academic procrastination was influenced by various factors among which are the locus of control and perfectionist. This study aimed to described: (1) locus of control of students SMAN 10 Padang, (2) perfectionist of students SMAN 10 Padang, (3) academic procrastination of students SMAN 10 Padang, (4) contribution locus of control toward academic procrastination students SMAN 10 Padang, (5) contribution of perfectionist towardacademic procrastination studentsSMAN 10Padang, (6) contribution locus of control and perfectionist toward academic procrastination students SMAN 10 Padang.This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive correlational method. The population in this research were students in grade X and XI of SMAN 10 Padang many as 571 students. Samples were obtained as many 235 students with using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instruments of this research were the Inventory and Likert scale model. The data obtained were analyzed by using simple regression, and multiple regression.The research finding were: (1) locus of control in average were at internal category, (2) perfectionist in average were atmoderate category, (3) the academic procrastination in average were at moderate category, (4) the locus of control are contribution significant to academic procrastination by 21.3%, (5) the perfectionist contribution significant to academic procrastination by 11.7%, and (6) the locus of control and perfectionist in together contribute significant to the academic procrastination by 24.5%. The implication of this research may useful input to direct the Guidance and Counseling Teacher/Counselors to provide guidance and counseling services especially for personal and of study field. This research was conducted by a high amount of unemployment from graduate students of university. The high amount of unemployment from graduate students of university indicated that undergraduate students had low work readiness. Career planning and self-efficacy were the factors assumed that influenced work readiness. This research was intended to describe: (1) career planning, self-efficacy, and work readiness of undergraduate students, (2) the correlation of career planning with work readiness, (3) the correlation carrier planning and self-efficacy with work readiness. This research applied correlational descriptive research with quantitative method. The population of this research was the seventh and ninth undergraduate students semester of Guidance and Counseling of UIN Suska Riau consisting of 139 undergraduate students, the sample consisted of 103 undergraduate students chosen by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used was likert scale model. The data were analysed by  using descriptive statistic, simple regression and multiple regression. The research findings indicated that: (1) career planning of undergraduate students was averagely included into good category, self-efficacy of undergraduate students was averagely included into high category, work readiness of undergraduate students was averagely included into high category, (2) there was a significant correlation between career planning with work readiness about 28,7% (R = 0,536, significance 0.000), (3) there was a significant correlation between self-efficacy with work readiness about 16.4% (R = 0.405, significance 0.000), (4) there was a significant correlation between carrier planning and self-efficacy with work readiness about 33.2% (R = 0.576, significance 0.000)

<span lang="EN-US">The presence of smartphones has caused major changes in human life, including among students. This causes the problem of smartphone addiction in students which causes their daily life to be disrupted. This study aims to reveal the contribution of self-control towards student smartphone addiction. This study was descriptive quantitative, and the data were analyzed by using a simple linear regression. The population in this study was 33480 students of undergraduate program at Universitas Negeri Padang in 2015-2019 academic year. The sample of this study was 400 students taken by using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used was the self-control and smartphone addiction scale with a Likert scale model. The research findings revealed that self-control gives an effective contribution towards the student smartphone addiction at Univeristas Negeri Padang as many as 30.1%.</span>

This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence of female students who wear the full face veil. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The sampling technique was carried out with a total sampling of 38 students who wore the veil from several universities in Indonesia. The research instrument uses a Likert-shaped Emotional Intelligence Scale owned by Dika Sahputra. Questionnaires are distributed online through the Google Forms application from November 2019 to January 2020. The results showed that in general the emotional intelligence of students who wore the full face veil was in the high category. These results can be used as a basis for making programs for guidance and counseling services in tertiary institutions, as well as being the basis for policy making for university leaders and the government towards female students and women who use the full face veil

This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling services based on rational emotive behavior therapy with cybercounseling approach on students' self-control. This research design is pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test research design. The Participants of this study was 8 students recruited using the criteria of sampling technique. The data was collected using a psychological scale that was developed based on indicators from other studies which analyzed using the Wilcoxon analysis technique. The results showed that the level of self-control of students who were given group counseling services group counseling services based on rational emotive behavior therapy with cybercounseling approach increased by 23.36%. This study also proved that group counseling services based on group counseling services based on rational emotive behavior therapy with cybercounseling approach affect students' self-control.

The media is very instrumental and has a strategic function that directly or indirectly can affect motivation, interest and attention for young children in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of PAUD teacher learning media in Jambi Province. The method used is descriptive quantitative cluster sampling technique, in this case the District and City in Jambi Province as the cluster. The number of early childhood education units (schools) include TK / RA, KB, TPA, and SPS, totaling 7,584. Then every District and City was selected by 10% randomly PAUD teachers from each school. So the number of samples was 758. The research instrument was a questionnaire or Media Perception Evaluation Scale (MPES) questionnaire containing 28 question items. Data for all parameters using a Microsoft Excel database. Pearson correlation was used to study the correlation between variables and independent t-test was used to compare groups with SPSS version 22. All statistical analyzes were carried out at a significance level of 5% and P <0.05 was considered statistically significant. The results of the study show that learning media plays an important role in the learning process for PAUD children in Jambi Province. As a result 59.6% answered strongly agree. Through the SPSS analyst results where the most influential visual media statements in PAUD teacher learning in Jambi province are statements 18,19,20,21 and 22 where 100% stated that visual media can provide motivation, whereas statements that had no effect were statements 17 where only 50.4% stated that visual media can provide motivation. It can be concluded that the use of learning media in early childhood is very instrumental to motivate, stimulate, explore and experiment.
