Trial of Assassination is an action carried out with the intention of killing people, but the person who wants to be killed does not die. In KHI Article 173 stated that the trial of assassination were prevented from inheriting, but in fiqh did not mention this, because that was the result of  ijtihad by Indonesian Islamic law experts. Based on this, this research attempted to explain the provisions of the KHI regarding the trial of assassination as mawani' al-irth, and the provisions of KHI regarding the trial of assasination as mawani‘ al-irth seen in the motivations behind it. Both of these will be studied using the perspective of maqașid al-syari'ah. The type of research used in this thesis is library research (qualitative research). Sources of data from this study come from the book al-Muwafaqat, Tasyri 'al-Jinaai al-Islami, Al-Fatawa al-Fiqhiyyah al-Kubra, Al-Tahzib fi Fiqh Imam Al-Syafi'i and the book Compilation of Islamic Law by Cik Hasan Bisri, as well as books and journals relating to maqașid al-syari'ah and mawani' al-irth. Data collection method is carried out in documentation and data analysis method in the form of qualitative descriptive. The results of the study indicate that the provisions of the KHI Article 173 concerning trial of assassination that’s hindered from inheriting is not suitable to be applied. Because the trial of assassination does not cause a person to die. Then in KHI also do not recognize the term forgiveness, even though the opportunity to be forgiven by the own heir is very large. Furthermore, in KHI, it does not consider the background of doing this action, even though between one person and another person has different intentions and objectives. Although the trial of assassination is a case that violates the existence of maqașid al-syari‘ah from the needs of the dharuriyyah, which is guarding the soul (hifz al-nafs), the benefit here is to apply a law according to the conditions that it wants. Because the basic purpose of Islamic law (maqașid al-syari‘ah) is to gain benefit and prevent damage (mafsadah).

The article explores the experiences of South African multiparous labouring women on their use of the birthing ball during the first stage of labour. The authors used a qualitative research approach using unstructured audiotaped interviews as the data collection method and data were collected over a period of one calendar month. The sample for the study were women who were six hours to six weeks post-delivery, had at least one child already, used the birthing ball, were on no medication, and had delivered a live infant. The sample consisted of twelve purposively selected participants, two of whom were used for the pilot study. The data analysis method was Data Analysis Spiral. The authors made use of an independent coder to assist with coding the data and three major themes were identified. The results revealed that the labouring women experienced the birthing ball as a useful labour tool, as shortening the labour process and as empowering them during labour.

Noda has an explanation function. The research aims to describe the structure and meaning of noda modality as interpropositional modalitiy. The data were obtained from Japanese website, such as asahi.com, ameba.jp, aozora.gr.jp, yourei.jp, and context.reverso.net. The data collection method in this research is the simak and catat method. Then, using qualitative descriptive method to analysis the structure and meaning of noda modality, while the agih method is used to find out noda modality.’s usage The data presentation stage use informal techniques. Based on data analysis, it is concluded that noda’s modality could be attached to verbs, i-adjectives, na-adjectives and nouns. Noda as an interpropositional modality has two types; “related types” (kankeidzuke) and “unrelated types”  (hikankeidzuke),  and each  types have  its meaning.

Abstrak Penelitian ini meneliti satuan lingual sapaan istilah kekerabatan Bahasa Bali di kalangan kasta ksatria di Jero Tengah Kabupaten Tabanan. Penelitian ini khusus meneliti di satu keluarga besar Jero Tengah yang terletak di Banjar Tegal Baleran Kabupaten Tabanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui satuan lingual sapaan istilah kekerabatan Bahasa Bali kasta ksatria di Jero Tengah. Kasta Ksatria yang diteliti yaitu yang menggunakan nama Gusti. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dengan narasumber dan dilanjutkan dengan teknik catat. Metode analisis data digunakan dengan metode agih, yaitu metode yang alat penentunya itu justru bagian dari Bahasa yang bersangkutan itu sendiri. Metode penyajian hasil analisis data menggunakan metode informal, yaitu hasil analisis disajikan dengan kata-kata dan kalimat. Satuan-satuan lingual sapaan istilah kekerabatan Bahasa Bali kasta ksatria di Jero Tengah yang ditemukan yaitu, kompyang ‘buyut’, ninik, mbah ‘nenek’, wayah ‘kakek’, ajik ‘ayah’, biang ‘ibu’, utik ‘ibu’, ‘ibu’, ji + urutan kelahiran ‘paman’, biang + urutan kelahiraan ‘bibi’, tik + urutan kelahiran ‘bibi’, bu + urutan kelahiran ‘bibi’, titu ‘bibi’, raka + urutan kelahiran ‘kakak laki-laki’, wi gus ‘kakak laki-laki’,  mbok gek ‘kakak perempuan’, gung + nama, gung + urutan kelahiran / nama saja ‘adik laki-laki/perempuan’. Satuan lingual dan sistem sapaan istilah kekerabatan Bahasa Bali yang ditemukan beragam sesuai dengan penggunaannya. This study specifically examined a large family of Jero Tengah located in Banjar Tegal Baleran, Tabanan Regency. This study aimed to determine the lingual units of greeting of Balinese kinship terms among ksatria caste in Jero Tengah. The Ksatria caste studied were those whose names were Gusti. The data collection method was carried out by interviewing the interviewees and continued with note taking. The data analysis method used was the distribution method that is the method in which the determinant is precisely the part of the language itself. The method of presenting the results of the data analysis was informal method, in which the results of the analysis were presented by using words and sentences. The lingual units of greeting of Balinese kinship terms among ksatria caste in Jero Tengah found were kompyang 'great-grandfather', ninik, mbah 'grandmother', wayah 'grandfather', ajik 'father', biang 'mother', utik 'mother', ji + birth order 'uncle', biang + birth order 'aunt', tik + birth order 'aunt', bu + birth order 'aunt', titu 'aunt', raka + birth order 'older brother ', wi gus 'older brother', mbok gek 'older sister', gung + name, gung + birth order / name only 'younger brother / sister'. The study of feminism is a literarytradition that leads tokan fokus analisis to female. One of the focuses of the study of feminism is the image of women. In the Qur'an there are many verses that tell about women, there is even one surah that tells the female character specifically, surah Maryam. The purpose of this research is to describe the image of women in the story of Maryam in the Quran including psychic imagery and social imagery. The data collection method that library studies use. The method of data analysis used is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects in this study are the text of surah Ali Imran, surah Maryam, and surah At Tahrim in the Qur'an. The result of this study is a psychic image ofa woman in the storyof Maryam in the Qur'an consisting of 1)a sincereperson,(2)a devout worshipter,(4)a worried person,(4)a fearful person,(5)a man who is inflicted in pain, and(6)a man who guards honor. The social image of women in the story of Maryamin the Qur'an in the family and community consists of (1)a nephew, (2a) mother, ( 3a child, (4) a sister, (5) a weak man rather than a man in worship (6) an exiled person, (7) a contested person, (8) an accused person, and (9) a man who is given to serve. Based on the analysis of the above imagery found gender injustice contained in this study in the form of stereotypes and violence

The Nurul Yaqin book is one of the yellow books that tell the history of the journey and struggle of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in spreading Islam. In the book, many stories are told about the joys and sorrows of the Prophet and his companions in the mission of spreading Islam. There are also many descriptions of essential and historical events that have become the treasures of Muslims. One of the efforts to connect the chain of the Prophet's struggle is to teach this book again with methods and media that are fun to students. The use of instructional media is expected to help students capture their imagination, increase their enthusiasm, spark their enthusiasm and provoke their creativity in studying historical books. This research is library research with a qualitative research approach. The data collection method uses the documentary study method. The data analysis method used is the content analysis method. The purpose of this study is to help teachers make it easier for students to accept and understand the contents of the Nurul Yaqin book by utilizing learning media in the form of pictures and maps.

Abstract Planting of character education must be carried out continuously. The characters that have been planted in school must be strengthened in college. The planting of character education must be taught, familiarized, trained consistently, become character and become a culture, so that the planting of education is not only in school, but must be strengthened into a culture in college. Strengthening the character in college should be more endeavored to make students who are faithful, pious, noble, moral, ethical and civilized based on the nation's noble values of religion, Pancasila, the Constitution of 1945 and the culture of moderating Islamic values. The noble values of the nation from religion and the culture of Islamic values of moderation can be seen from the Aswaja teachings that can be embedded in the teachings that can strengthen character education in universities. This research is a qualitative research conducted at Wahid Hasyim University, Semarang, which is one of the universities that base Aswaja as a foundation for strengthening character education. The source of the data is obtained from primary and secondary data. Data collection method is done by interview, documentation and observation, while data analysis method uses descriptive analysis method. The results of the study show that the concept of aswaja teaching at Wahid Hasyim University is used as the foundation that underlies all activities carried out on campus, both matters relating to aqidah, worship/sharia, and morals. As for strengthening character education through Aswaja teachings, it was carried out by making Aswaja Center which regulates activities related to Aswaja. The implementation of the Aswaja teachings is carried out through habituation, guidance and consultation related to religious practices. Aswaja's teachings are also integrated in courses according to each faculty. Key Words : Aswaja, Education, Character.

AbstrakPara pencipta karya keramik di Indonesia terlihat telah berusaha mengangkat muatan tradisi khas Indonesia untuk mengimbangi dominasi kuasa produk keramik image Cina yang ada di Indonesia. Wayang khas Bali adalah salah satu motif tradisi yang sering dipilih dalam menciptakan karya-karya kriya keramik ini. Penulisan atikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas penciptaan karya-karya keramik yang terinspirasi dari motif wayang khas Bali. Penelitian ini memfokuskan bahasan pada jenis-jenis karya yang diwujudkan, teknik pembentukan, teknik penerapan ornamen, tokoh-tokoh wayang khas Bali yang divisualkan dan kualitas garapan dari karya-karya tersebut. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan dokumentasi, analisis data dilakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karya-karya yang diwujudkan pada penciptaan keramik ini jenisnya terdiri dari guci dalam berbagai variasi dan ukuran, tempat lampu, dan dalam bentuk lukisan. Teknik pembentukan karya dikerjakan dengan teknik putar dan slab, dan penerapan ornamen dikerjakan dengan teknik lukis, ukir, dan toreh. Tokoh-tokoh wayang yang dominan dipilih dalam penciptaan ini, diambil dari seri ceritera Ramayana maupun Mahabrata, misalnya tokoh Rama, Sinta, Laksmana, Anoman, Bima, dan Arjuna. Kualitas garapan karya masing-masing pencipta cukup baik. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari kerapian garapan dan kerumitan bentuk ornamen. Simpulan yang dapat disampaikan bahwa karya-karya keramik hasil ciptaan ini mampu menjadi pembeda ditengah maraknya keramik bernuansa Cina di Indonesia.Kata Kunci: ornamen; wayang; penciptaan; seni; keramik.AbstractThe ceramic creators in Indonesia seems to have tried to lift the content of the typical Indonesian tradition to offset the power dominance of the Chinese image ceramic products in Indonesia. The Balinese puppets were one of the traditional motifs often chosen to creating these ceramics crafts. The article writing aims discussed the ceramic work's creation inspired by Balinese puppet motifs. This research focused on the types of works that are realized, the formation techniques, the applying ornaments techniques, the character figures that visualized and the quality of the works. The data collection method was done by observation and documentation, data analysis done with qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the ceramic works embodied consisted of jars in various variations and sizes, places of lights, and in the form of paintings. The technique forming work is done with swivel and slab techniques, and the ornaments application was done by painting, carving, and incising techniques. The dominant puppet characters chosen in this creation were taken from the Ramayana and Mahabharata stories, for example, the characters Rama, Sinta, Laksmana, Anoman, Bima, and Arjuna. The work quality of each creator was quite good. This can be seen from the neatness of the claim and the form complexity of the ornaments. The conclusions that can be conveyed were that the ceramics produced were able to make a difference in the midst of the rise of Chinese nuanced ceramics in Indonesia.Keywords: ornaments; puppet; creation; art; ceramic.

Translation does not only translate from the source language (ST) to the target language (TT) because if it is done, the translation results or (TT) will not be accepted by the target language user and will not have the same effect as the source language. This is called the concept of equivalence. Equivalence is a problem that can not only be accepted by users of the target language which is also in accordance with the context of the culture, customs and habits of the local community, but this concept is essentially the result of the translated text having the same impact between the source language and the target language. This article analyzed the concept of theoretical and practical equivalence of translation from English to Indonesian or vice versa. The purpose of writing this article is to reveal the equivalence of translation and at the same time reveal translation errors that often occur in society. The data collection method used in this article is SBLC or free-to-talk (Sudaryanto, 1993). While the data analysis method is equivalent which was also written by the same expert.

This research aimed to answer the research question about how the affectivity of implementation of benefaction oath and registration of benefaction land in the area of religious affairs office of Gunung Sugih Central Lampung. The advantage of this research is that in realizing the awareness and certainty of benefaction law the conflicts of benefaction land can be avoided. This research is qualitative research which tried to reveal the benefaction management. The primary data were obtained from the research informant. The informant in this research was the chief of religious affairs office (KUA) and head of alms division and KUA of Gunung Sugih. While the second data were obtained from the books, document, and other references related to this research. The data collection method was done by interview and documentation. The data analysis process was done by making the formulation of research result implication in the ways of interpretation.The implementation of benefaction oath certificate and registration of benefaction land in the area of religious affairs office (KUA) of GunungSugih were not realized effectively. This case was based on the data of the amount of benefaction land that did not have AIW/APIW, it was about 41,9% benefaction and 43% of it did not have land certificate. This condition showed that the awareness of benefaction law in GunungSugih was not actualized. This problems caused the law certainty of land benefaction was not realized too. So that it could cause the conflict and returning the benefaction lands.

Abstract Implicatures in Indonesian Political Humor by Zaenuddin HM. This research is intended to describe conventional and conversational implicatures which contained in Zanenuddin’s works. The researcher use descriptive method and the approach which is used by the researcher is qualitative research as a pragmatic study. The research data and data source are taken from Zaenuddin’s works entitled ‘Humor Politik Indonesia’. Data collection method used are listening and documentation method . Instrument which is used in this research is researcher herself and she uses water analysis method to analyze the data research. According to the results of data analysis, the researcher founds implicatures in Zanenuddin’s works. Conventional and conversational implicatures found in every utterances with functions like, a. wishing, b. ordering, and c. mocking or teasing function. Key words: implicature, humor, political, Zaenuddin Abstrak Implikatur dalam Buku Wacana Humor Politik Indonesia karya Zaenuddin HM: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud implikatur percakapan dan wujud implikatur konvensional yang terdapat dalam buku karya Zaenuddin tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah pendekatan kualitatif, yang merupakan jenis penelitian pragmatik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Data dan sumber data yang bersumber dari buku humor politik karya Zaenuddin. Teknik yang digunakan ialah metode dokumentasi dan simak. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah diri sendiri. Teknis analisis menggunakan model air Miles dan Huberman (2014:18). Hasil analisis menemukan wujud implikatur dalam buku humor politik karya Zaenuddin adalah: menemukan wujud implikatur percakapan dan implikatur konvensional yang dalam setiap tuturan terdapat juga fungsi, fungsinya yaitu sebagai berikut a) fungsi mengharap, b) fungsi memerintah, c) fungsi menyindir, dan d) fungsi mengkritik. Kata-kata kunci: implikatur, humor, politik, Zaenuddin
