The research focused in the intra-sentential code switching used by the students in English Department of IKIP Siliwangi Bandung. The research was conducted to find out the intra-sentential switching that used by the students, why the students switch code, and the function of intra-sentential switching in classroom activity. The research employed a qualitative descriptive study involing field research. The samples are 3 groups presentation from class A2 English Education 2015 IKIP Siliwangi Bandung. This study explored pattern of intra-sentential code-switching (CS) that are manifest in classroom activity of English-Indonesia-Sunda in class A2 English Education 2015 IKIP Siliwangi Bandung, the reason why students switch thier code and in what situation students switch their code or language. The result of this research are 3 groups presentation were switching their language in type of intra-sentential switching, the reasons they switch their langugae are less vocabulary, to make they easier to express their mind, to make listener or audience easier to understand, and nervous. In presentation, group discussion, speech & daily conversation are situations they switch their code or language.Keywords:   Code switching, Intra-sentential switching, classroom activity.

ABSTRACT This study examines strategies to increase the collection of waqf through Islamic Da'wah activities. This is important to do, considering the Baitul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School has a large potential for waqf while the ongoing collection of waqf has not yet reached the expected target. This study aims to find a solution in the form of a strategy to increase the collection of waqf by utilizing da'wah activities as a way of socialization and promotion. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, while the data sources are obtained directly in the field (field research). The research approach uses case studies with data collection techniques through interviews, documentation studies and field observations. The results of this study recommend strategies for increasing the collection of waqf through: (i) Optimizing the role of dai as a marketing of waqf. (ii) fulltime managing human resources. (iii) Improvement of Facilities and Infrastructure. (iv) Creating a creative collection program. (v) Standardization of Data Management. (vi) Improvement of convenience services and activity reports.Keywords: Collection, Waqf, Da'wah and Islamic boarding schools.   ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji tentang strategi peningkatan penghimpunan wakaf melalui kegiatan Dakwah Islam. Hal ini penting dilakukan, mengingat Pesantren Baitul Hidayah memiliki potensi wakaf yang cukup besar sementara penghimpunan wakaf yang berjalan belum mencapai target yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan solusi berupa strategi peningkatan penghimpunan wakaf dengan memanfaatkan kegiatan-kegiatan dakwah sebagai jalan sosialisasi dan promosi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, adapun sumber data diperoleh langsung di lapangan (field research). Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan strategi peningkatan penghimpunan wakaf melalui : (i) Optimalisasi peran dai sebagai marketing wakaf. (ii) SDM pengelola fulltime. (iii) Peningkatan Sarana dan Prasarana. (iv) Menciptakan Program penghimpunan yang kreatif. (v) Standarisasi Pengelolaan Data. (vi) Peningkatan layanan kemudahan dan laporan kegiatan.Kata Kunci: Penghimpunan, Wakaf, Dakwah dan Pesantren.

Code-switching has been an evolving topic since the bilingualism blooming in linguistics milieu. However, practitioners or experts have contrastive views regarding its use in classroom setting. While the proponents believe that the presence of code-switching in one side is considered as an asset to teach language, the opponents see it is as merely an obstacle to achieve learning goal that is to acquire target language. Code-switching serves many functions for both teacher and students yet it is still employed. Despite the pro and cons of the code-switching, this research aims to show the perspective of both teacher and students towards code-switching and functions it serve in EFL classroom setting. This research used qualitative descriptive approach and the data were taken from the informants of English department in one of university in Surakarta to explore whether the use of code-switching in EFL classroom was seen as beneficial tool. It begins by the general view of EFL use in everyday classroom. This current study found that code-switching was preserved as benefits as it served some functions for teacher to convey material and for students to received material and communicate in classroom.

This research is to describe the shadow teacher for students with special needs at Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta Elementary School. This type of research is qualitative research. This is a qualitative descriptive study which produces descriptive data in the form of words based on detailed and in-depth field research. The subject of this study was the shadow teacher in class VI. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. As for the data analysis which is done which includes: data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the shadow teacher who accompanies students with special needs (mild intellectual impairment) in class VI is doing an authoritarian accompaniment. The mentoring makes students experience pressure when learning, it is not uncommon for students to cry, and leave the classroom when learning. Also, the shadow teacher's actions disturb other students. That is what some parents in class IV agreed not to involve shadow teachers in the learning process in class.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan praktek jual beli lisensi paytren di Kantor Paytren Cabang Surabaya dan mendeskripsikan tinjauan Hukum Ekonomi Islam tentang praktek jual beli lisensi paytren di Kantor Paytren Cabang Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan datanya yaitu observasi, interview dan dokumenter. Adapun keabsahan data menggunakan teknik trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan: 1) Praktek jual beli lisensi paytren di Kantor Paytren Cabang Surabaya adalah mendownload aplikasi dan membukanya, meng-klik login dan daftar, membayar Rp 350.000,-, memberitahukan nomer ID supaya diberi nomor serial lisensi, lalu memasukkan nomer tersebut, registrasi, membaca ketentuan, dan konfirmasi data aktifasi aplikasi, maka aplikasi paytren bisa difungsikan, terafiliasi dengan beberapa program paytren dan berpeluang mendapatkan income dengan menjalankan bisnisnya. 2) Menurut Hukum Ekonomi Islam, praktek tersebut dikategorikan Bai‘ al-Manāfi‘ ‘alā al-Ta’bīd (jual beli manfaat secara permanen) yang hukumnya sah. Dikategorikan Bai‘ al-Manāfi‘ ‘alā al-Ta’bīd karena objek transaksi adalah manfaat dari lisensi, bukan mendapatkan suatu benda. Penjualnya adalah PT. Veritra Sentosa Internasional (Treni) yang diwakilkan kepada Kantor Paytren Cabang Surabaya dengan Wakālah bil ’Ujrah. Perihal ṣīghah, mitra berucap “ini aku bayar biaya pendaftarannya Rp 350.000,”. Lalu sponsor berucap “ini nomor serialnya, silahkan dimasukkan”. Pada akad Bai‘ al-Manāfi‘ ‘alā al-Ta’bīd, ucapan tersebut sudah mencukupi sebagai sīghah, sebab maksudnya “ini nomor serialnya, silahkan dimasukkan” adalah aku menjual hak kemanfaatan lisensi paytren. Kata Kunci : Jual Beli, Lisensi Paytren dan Hukum Ekonomi Islam ABSTRACT The aims of the study are to describe the factual practices of paytren license trading in Surabaya Paytren Headquarter Office and to describe the review of islamic economic law dealing with the factual practices of paytren license trading in Surabaya Paytren Headquarter Office. The study was conducted through field research design by applying qualitative descriptive study. The data were collected through observation, interview and documentation. Triangulation was used to check the validity of the data. The research findings are: 1) The factual practice of paytren license trading in Surabaya Paytren Headquarter Office was done by downloading the application and then opening it, clicking login and register, paying Rp 350.000,-, mentioning ID number to get the license serial number, then entering the number, doing registration, reading the terms and condition, and confirming the data activation through the application, then the application of paytren could be functioned, affiliated with several paytren program and gave an opportunity to earn income by running the bussiness. 2) Based on the islamic economic law, such practice was categorized into Bai‘ al-Manāfi‘ ‘alā al-Ta’bīd (permanent benefit of trading) which was sahih (valid). It was categorized such way because the object of the transaction was the benefit of the license, not getting goods. The seller was PT. Veritra Sentosa Internasional (Treni) which was represented by Surabaya Paytren Headquarter Office with Wakālah bil ’Ujrah. Dealing with the utterance (ṣīghah) , the partner said “I pay the registration fee Rp 350.000,”. Further, the sponsor told him “This is the serial number, please enter it”. On the agreement (akad) of Bai‘ al-Manāfi‘ ‘alā al-Ta’bīd, those utterance had been completed as sīghah, because “This is the serial number, please enter it” meant that I had sold the right of benefit principle of paytren license. Problem solving mathematics error in a matter of story on ratio material worth and turn around values still often occur, so we need a remedial program to minimize these errors. For this reason, this study aims to determine the types of errors, remedial program steps and types of errors after the remedial program. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the data collection method uses tests, interviews, and personal documents. The study was conducted at eighth grade of SMP Pangudi Luhur 1 Yogyakarta. This study applies a layered validation strategy in the form of triangulation techniques, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and the involvement of resource persons and experts. The results showed that the dominant error in the form of an error did not understand the command problem with a percentage of 43%, the error shown if every step taken by students was correct but the final result given was not a solution done with a percentage of 80% and a calculation error with a percentage of 20%. After the results are obtained remediation efforts are made. Based on the remediation results that have been made, there is a decrease in 2 categories of dominant student errors, namely mistakes not understanding the question command to a percentage of 31%, errors that are shown if each step taken by students is correct but the end result given is not a completion done to 60%. Thus, the remediation program makes fewer types of mistakes made by students than before remediation.

The research aims to find out the types of code-mixing used by English Education Department students during their presentation activity in the classroom in STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa and to identify why did the students used the code-mixing. The participants of this research were 4 English Department students of STKIP Paracendekia NW Sumbawa. This research used observation, audio recording, and interview techniques in collecting the data. The result showed that there were two types of code mixing that used by English students in the presentation process, namely insertion code mixing, and alternation code mixing. Insertion code mixing was the dominant type that used by English students in the presentation process. There were 32 utterances categorized as insertion code mixing, and 9 utterances were categorized as alternation code mixing. While the reasons of student using code mixing in the presentation process were mostly because of the situation and lack of vocabulary.

This research was conducted to analyze the pricing policy set by the housing developer PT. Nasaliansyah Jambi, which aims to determine the selling price of sales proceeds. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that describes the determination of the selling price of the house by the developer of PT. Nasaliansyah Jambi, with survey methods and field research. The results of the study prove that by increasing the number of orders and the amount of income received by the housing developer PT. Nasaliansyah Jambi in 2015 amounted to 90 units until 2018 to a total of 420 housing units sold. Price affects the choice of type of house purchased by consumers. The selling price of a house is influenced by the price of the materials that will be used to build a house. Likewise, promotional costs affect sales volume, the greater the promotion costs, the higher the sales volume of houses in PT. Nasaliansyah Jambi.

This research is a qualitative descriptive study that discussed the tradition of selakar as a hajj ritual in the village of Kembang Kerang Daya, West Nusa Tenggara. This research was a field research. The approach used in this research was phenomenology. The data sources in this study were obtained directly from religious leaders, traditional leaders, the Kembang Kerang Daya village community and various literatures. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and data analysis. The focus of this research was to know how the implementation of selakaran activities as a pilgrimage ritual in the village of Kembang Kerang Daya, what factors influence the continuity of this tradition and how the selakar tradition influences people's religious behavior. From this research it was found that selakar as a hajj ritual is something that must be carried out by people who are going to perform Hajj. This religious practice is included in the phenomenon of the living Qur'an-Hadith which is based on the QS. Al-Ahzab: 56 and traditions about the commands and obligations of praying as a form of love for the Prophet. By carrying out the tradition of selakar, namely reading sholawat, dzikir  and do’a, according to them it will be reassuring, bring blessings in life and it is believed that it will also benefit people who are performing Hajj, such as safe traveling, staying healthy, enthusiastic in carrying out worship and get the hajj done. In addition, there is an important meaning from the existence of this tradition, namely the practice of spiritual worship that cannot be eliminated in people's lives.

 Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeksripsikan alih kode, campur kode, dan faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode penjual dan pembeli di pasar tradisional Namlea. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskkritif kualitatif, yakni penelitian yang dilakukan semata-mata hanya berdasarkan pada fakta yang ada atau fenomena yang secara empiris hidup pada penuturnya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah teknik pustaka, simak, dan catat. Teknik pustaka adalah teknik yang menggunakan sumber-sumber tertulis untuk menunjang data peneliti. Data yang telah diklasifikasi dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga macam alih kode penjual dan pembeli di pasar tradisional Namlea yakni: 1) Alih kode yang dilakukan penutur; 2) Alih kode dilakukan oleh mitra tutur; dan 3) Alih kode yang dituturkan oleh penutur ketiga. Kemudian faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode adalah campur kode penyisipan kata dan campur kode penyisipan frasa. Kata Kunci: alih kode, campur kode, pasar, Namlea  AbstractThis study aims to describe the code experts and code mix and the factors that cause the mixing of seller and buyer codes in the traditional namlea market. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, a research conducted solely based on facts or phenomena that empirically live on the speaker. Data collection techniques used were library, refer and note technique. Library technique is a technique that uses written sources to support researchers' data. The data that has been classified is analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed three types of code switching of sellers and buyers in the traditional namlea market, namely: 1) Code switching by the speaker; 2) Code switching is done by the speech partner; and 3) Code switching spoken by the third speaker. then Factors that cause code mixing are mixed word insertion codes and mixed phrase insertion codes. Keywords: code transfer, mix code, market, Namlea

During the COVID-19 pandemic, all activities such as teaching and learning activities at college must be carried out online. This online learning activity utilizes online-based learning applications. Every students certainly have their positive and negative response and opinion about using online learning application. Therefore, this research aims to obtain and describe about learners' experiences in using online-based learning application during COVID-19 pandemic in English Department. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive study. Data collection was conducted by questionnaire and 1 questions  for polling. The respondents of this research were 40 English department learners. To gain in-depth explanation, the researchers also interviewed 7 learners through WhatsApp application. The results showed that students gave positive and negative responses to the use of online-based learning applications.
