Amyloglucosidase (AMG) from Aspergillus niger was encapsulated in various matrices derived from tetraethoxysilane, methyltriethoxysilane, phenyltriethoxysilane and vinyltriacetoxysilane by different methods of immobilization. The immobilized enzyme was prepared by entrapment in two steps, in one-step and entrapment/deposition, respectively. The activities of the immobilized AMG were assayed and compared with that of the native enzyme. The effects of the organosilaneprecursors and their molar ratios, the immobilization method, the inorganic support (white ceramic, red ceramic, purolite, alumina, TiO2, celite, zeolite) and enzyme loading upon the immobilized enzyme activity were tested. The efficiency of the sol-gel biocomposites can be improved through combination of the fundamental immobilization techniques and selection of the precursors.

Nowadays the immobilized enzyme used universally in industrials thanked to capability re-use and industrial process control capability by enzyme. This research studying the receiving and the immobilization glucoamylase from Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus awamori on kaolin. Activity of enzyme glucoamylase extract from Aspergillus niger is 143325, 62 UI/ g-product enzyme and Aspergillus awamori 133418, 20 UI/ g-enzyme product. Examination the time of support-enzyme, activity of enzyme glucoamylase extract from Aspergillus niger is highest at 50 and from Aspergillus awamori is 40 minutes. The suitable mass of kaolin is 1g/0,1g enzymes The capability re-use of the immobilized enzyme glucoamylase from Aspergillus niger is higher than the immobilized enzyme from Aspergillus awamori.

The all processes for manufacturing materials parts of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) are discussed in the paper. The films are made in one step by the ways of APS, VPS, EVD, which are usually used to produce the electrolyte and interconnect. The films are thin and good gas-resistance, but with relatively high cost. All parts of SOFC are made by the following ways, such as sol-gel, tape casting, tape calendaring and screen printing, which are suitable for manufacturing samples in industry with the cheapest process by co-sintered together ways.

The production of pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates and final products strongly depends on the utilization of water. Water is also required for the purification and preparation of reagents. Each specific application determines the respective water quality. In the European Union, the European Pharmacopeia (Ph. Eur.) contains the official standards that assure quality control of pharmaceutical products during their life cycle. According to this, the production of water for pharmaceutical use is mainly based on multi-stage distillation and membrane processes, especially, reverse osmosis. Membrane distillation (MD) could be an alternative process to these classical methods. It offers advantages in terms of energy demand and a compact apparatus design. In the following study, the preparation of pharmaceutical-grade water from tap water in a one-step process using MD is presented. Special emphasis is placed on the performance of two different module designs and on the selection of optimum process parameters.

AbstractNanostructured zinc titanate (NZT) was synthesized in high yield via a one-step and template-free sol-gel route. The prepared nanocomposite exhibited good size uniformity and regularity. The enhanced photocatalytic activity of the NZT was evaluated in the degradation and mineralization of Indocorn Brilliant Red (M5B) under metal halide lamp irradiation. The effects of different parameters such as pH of the solution, and initial dye concentration on photodegradation of M5B were analyzed. The degradation of M5B follows pseudo-first order kinetics according to the Langmuir-Hinshelwood model. The experimental results showed that the initial concentration of azo dye in the dye mixture greatly affected the degradation efficiency. At M5B concentrations of 10 mg/L, the optimum conditions for the highest degradation efficiency (94%) of azo dye were a photocatalyst dosage of 0.01 g/L and an initial solution pH of 9. This study provided new insight into the design and preparation of nanomaterial demonstrated an excellent ability to remove organic pollutants in wastewater.

Aim of this work was to establish the optimum conditions for the extraction and recovery by cationic reversed micelles of glucose oxidase (GOX) from Aspergillus niger A9, The influence of pH, temperature, solvent/co-solvents ratio on the extraction was investigated by experiment, using the residual enzyme activity to evaluate the results. The best condition for GOX extraction were ensured using iso-octane as solvent and butanol and n-hexanol co-solvent at 76/18/6 volume ratio, pH 4.80, 200mM cetyl-trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) as cationic surfactant, The enzyme activity of GOX is measured by DNS method (3,5-dinitro salicylic acid method). In the extraction process, ultrasonic oscillation was adopted to mix organic solvent and water, ultrasonic oscillation temperature is 45 °C. Protein activity recovery of GOX can reach 88.2% in extraction.

An eco-friendly and efficient one-step approach for the synthesis of carbon quantum dots (CDs) that encapsulated molecularly imprinted fluorescence quenching particles (MIFQP) and their application for the determination of zearalenone (ZEA) in a cereal sample are described in this study. CDs with high luminescence were first synthesized, and then encapsulated in the silica-based matrix through a non-hydrolytic sol-gel process. The resulting ZEA-imprinted particles exhibited not only an excellent specific molecular recognition of ZEA, but also good photostability and obvious template binding-induced fluorescence quenching. Under the optimized conditions, the fluorescence intensity of MIFQP was inversely proportional to the concentration of ZEA. By validation, the detection range of these fluorescence quenching materials for ZEA was between 0.02 and 1.0 mg L−1, and the detection limit was 0.02 mg L−1 (S/N = 3). Finally, the MIFQP sensor was successfully applied for ZEA determination in corn with recoveries from 78% to 105% and the relative standard deviation (RSD %) was lower than 20%, which suggests its potential in actual applications.
