Computer-Based Recognition of Perceptual Patterns in Harmonic Dictation Exercises

During the 1975–1976 academic year, student response data was saved for a group of 17 freshman music majors as they worked through 15 units of harmonic dictation exercises delivered on the University of Delaware's GUIDO system. Analysis of the student data base led to the identification of seven confusion tendencies that affect the perception of harmonies: bass line confusions, confusions of inversion, confusions of chord function, confusions of chord quality, unperceived sevenths, unperceived roots, and favorite response confusions. The level of student achievement on individual harmonies was found to be highly correlated with the percentage of times these harmonies were asked in the curriculum.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan Pengembangan E-modul Berbasis Project Based Learningpada Mata Pelajaran Pemrograman Web Kelas X  di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. (2)Untuk mengetahui respon siswa dan guru terhadap Pengembangan E-modul Berbasis Project Based Learningpada Mata Pelajaran Pemrograman Web Kelas X  di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan dan guru mata pelajaran Pemrograman Web di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Untuk mengetahui respon siswa dan guru terhadap e-modul diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode angket.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Hasil rancangan dan implementasi e-modul yang telah dikembangkan pada mata pelajaran pemrograman web untuk siswa kelas X Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja dinyatakan berhasil diterapkan berdasarkan beberapa uji yang dilakukan. 2) Hasil analisis data respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa persentase siswa yang memberikan respon sangat baik sebesar 16%, persentase siswa yang memberikan respon baik sebesar 84%, dan tidak ada siswa yang memberikan respon cukup, kurang, maupun sangat kurang. Sedangkan hasil analisis data respon guru menunjukkan bahwa persentase guru yang memberikan respon sangat baik sebesar 100%, dan tidak ada guru yang memberikan respon baik, cukup, kurang, maupun sangat kurang. Kata kunci:  E-Modul, Pemrograman Web, Model Project Based Learning AbstractThe purposes of this research were (1) To design and implement of the Development of E-module based the Project Based Learning on the Web Programming Subject of the X grade of SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. The subjects of the study were all of the students and the teachers of X grade of Computer and Networking Engineering department of SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja in the academic year 2016/2017. To know the students and the teachers response toward the e-module obtained was collected by questionnaires method.The results has showed that: 1) The design and implementation of e-module that was developed on the web programming for the students of X grade of Computerand Networking Engineering department of SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja by using model Project Based Learning was successfully applied according the several test that has done before, 2) The results of the data analysis of students response have indicated that the percentage of 16% were good, the precentage of good were 84%, and no student response was for moderate, deficient, nor very deficient. Learning Arabic morphology that is not a mother tongue is not an easy matter. Based on the questionnaire given to students, the problem they faced in studying Arabic morphology was that it was difficult to distinguish the terms contained in Arabic morphology by 22.9%, the examples used were always the same in each discussion so as to confuse 14.3%, difficult to find examples other than those already explained by 17.1%, one word can be changed into many other forms by 8.6%, not knowing the meaning of each word change by 14.3%, difficult to translate into Indonesian so it is not easily understood 11.4%, and it is difficult to get an easily understood learning source of 11.4%. This study aims to determine the response of Arabic Language Education study program students at the University of KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah towards Arabic Morphology textbook based on contrastive analysis using quantitative approaches. Student response data collection using a questionnaire instrument. 35 students were conditioned in one room and gave an assessment of the textbooks that had been shown to them. The final results of the 15 assessment points showed that the Arabic Morphology Textbook Based on Contrastive Analysis scored 90.8 with a decent category and a very good predicate.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untukmendeskripsikan peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika siswadan mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran MEAs berbantuan masalah open ended. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Baturiti sebanyak 34 siswa pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Data pemahaman konsep matematika siswa diukur menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep berbentuk uraian. Data tanggapan siswa diukur menggunakan angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pemahaman konsep tiap siklusnya, yaitu 66,20; 69,70; 75,20 dengan ketuntasan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan tiap siklusnya, yaitu 38,24%; 52,94%; 67,65% . Peningkatan ini tercapai karena adanya pengkolaborasian antara pembelajaran MEAs dengan masalah open ended yang membantu siswa mengembangkan kreatifitas dalam mengekpresikan ide ataupun gagasannya yang akan menjadikan peningkatan pemahamankonsep siswa optimal. Selain itu siswa merepon positif penerapan model eliciting activities (MEAs)berbantuan masalah open ended.Kata-kata Kunci:MEAs,open ended, pemahaman konsep matematika, tanggapan siswaAbstractThis study aimed to describe the increase in understanding of students' mathematical concepts and to know student responses through the application of model eliciting activities (MEAs) assisted by open ended problems. This type of research used classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The subjects of this study were 34 students of class X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Baturiti in the odd semester of Academic Year 2018/2019. Data understanding of students' mathematical concepts was measured using concept comprehension tests in the form of descriptions. Student response data was measured using a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that average value of understanding concepts from cycle to cycle in a row, namely 66.2, 69.70, 75.20 with an students' mastery learning had increased from cycle to cycle respectively, namely 38.24%, 52.94%, 67.65%. This increase was achieved because of the collaboration between MEAs learning with open ended problems that helped students develop their creativity in expressing their ideas ehich would improving students’ understanding concepts optimally. In addition, students responded positively to model eliciting activities (MEAs) with the help of open ended problems. Key words: MEAs, open ended, concept understanding, student responses

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif MURDER (Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review) berbantuan CD Pembelajaran Microsoft Office Excel terhadap hasil belajar siswa, (2) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif MURDER berbantuan CD Pembelajaran Microsoft Office Excel pada mata pelajaran TIK. Jenis Penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental). Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMP Maulana Pegayaman semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019, berjumlah 47 orang yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelas, 1 kelas kontrol dan 1 kelas eksperimen. Objek penelitian meliputi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif MURDER, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa terhadap penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif MURDER berbantuan CD Pembelajaran Microsoft Office Excel. Data hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar, dan dianalisis menggunakan Uji-t dengan Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Data respon siswa terhadap penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif MURDER berbantuan CD Pembelajaran Microsoft Office Excel, diperoleh melalui angket dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian (1) hasil Uji-t menunjukan thitung=6,623dan ttabel=2,014 untuk dk = 81 dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, thitung>ttabel (6,623>2,014) maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif MURDER berbantuan CD Pembelajaran Microsoft Office Excel terhadap hasil belajar TIK siswa kelas VIII SMP Maulana Pegayaman semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019, (2) respon siswa kelas eksperimen terhadap penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif MURDER berbantuan CD Pembelajaran Microsoft Office Excel adalah positif dengan skor respon rata-rata sebesar 83,48. This study aims to determine the response of students to learning mobile technology based on local wisdom and tourism using descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were 37 Biology Education Study Program students in the first semester of Mandalika Education University in the odd semester of the academic year 2019-2020. This research was conducted with a saturated sampling technique. Student response data obtained by a research questionnaire. Data were analyzed using diagram data. The results showed that students' responses to learning based on local wisdom and tourism were very high. On average 88.5% of lecturers use mobile technology as a means of communication and discussion with students, while the lowest is 69.6%, where only a few lecturers make mobile applications for learning needs. And on average only a few use and link mobile technology with local wisdom products and tourism.

During the 1987/88 academic year an Arabic manuscript microfilm project at Boutilimit, Mauritania, under sponsorship of the National Endowment for the Humanities and the University of Illinois, completed the first phase of a library preservation program with the filming of some 25.5 lineal feet/8.1 lineal meters of Arabic manuscripts (or slightly over 100,000 folios of material) on eighty-five reels. This filmed collection is available to researchers at the University of Illinois Library Archives. In contrast with what, alas, is a norm in Arabic manuscript acquisition and cataloging, and thanks to a computer program developed for this project, within four months of the termination of the filming an interim 352-page bilingual finding aid was generated for the 937 records involved. Following corrections to that finding aid in the field and additions to the collection during the 1988/89 year, indices in Arabic and English will be generated from the program. The rapidity with which this collection has thus become accessible for researchers is fairly dramatic, and the program developed for the project may well point to ways in which other comparable data sets may be efficiently managed. This description will focus on the objectives of the finding aid, the technical outline of its development, the experience to date with its application, and possible future uses for the system.

This article discusses the needs and interests of the university students in Banten Indonesia for learning to write with an integrative approach as an initial stage in the development of academic writing textbooks. The participants in this study were 60 students in the first semester of the 2018/2019 academic year who took an Indonesian language course. It was found that students were familiar with writing activities. But the majority were limited to non-academic genres such as writing poetry, short stories, and writing personal blogs. Also, students have almost the same problems in academic writing, both from linguistic aspects, technical aspects, to issues of developing writing ideas. Another thing that was found in this study was the participation of lecturers who they expected in guiding and providing input during academic writing learning.
