This study aimed to describe student responses toward online learning. The respondents in this study were students of the first semester of the Biology Education Department in academic year 2019/2020, totaling 33 people. The sample in this study used a convenience sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively using Microsoft Excel. Research data shows that only 6 percent of students feel happy with online learning, because respondents think that they are more flexible about the time and place of learning. Meanwhile, 91 percent of students stated that they were not happy due to many factors such as being difficult to meet face-to-face with friends and lecturers, requiring a lot of money to buy internet quota and an unstable internet network. Referring to these results, it is very necessary to conduct an evaluation by lecturers and relevant policy makers to support the achievement of maximum learning objectives.

The aims of this study are to describe the learning process in animal structure courses and learning outcomes obtained by students of Biology Education Study Program, Teachers Training and Education Faculty, Siliwangi University Tasikmalaya after attending lectures. The research method used is survey data collection using a questionnaire. As many as 60 students who have attended and graduated in animal structure lectures in the 4th semester of the 2014/2015 academic year were used as research samples. Samples were taken using simple random sampling technique from a population of 90 students. Then the data obtained is processed using descriptive statistics. The results of the study show that students have an interest in animal structure courses, especially in practical activities. The implementation of learning in animal structure courses has not been carried out optimally. The indication is from the non-socialization of the learning model used by lecturers which has an impact on various generic skills that are not maximally trained and developed.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to improve the results and learning process of Genetic subjects in the Biology Education Study Program through lesson study (LS). The research type is descriptive, the sampling technique used purposive. The study sample used 40 students in the sixth semester of class a Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, University of Mataram in academic year 2017/2018. The research data collection technique used observation, documentation, and tests. Data on student learning outcomes and LS-based learning processes were analyzed descriptively. LS implementation in this study consisted of four cycles and each cycle consisted of three stages, namely: planning, implementation, and reflection. Classically the average value of students' cognitive achievement is 82.1% in cycle I and II while in cycle III and IV it increases to 82.67%. Data from LS implementation observation results obtained an average value of 91.63%. The conclusion of this study is the application of LS learning can improve student achievement and learning processes on Genetic subjects in the Biology Education Study Program. It is recommended to other researchers to conduct similar follow-up research in broader research areas, more samples, use more complex research designs, and use more subjects so that more optimal results can be found. Keywords: Lessons Study; learning; genetics; learning achievements; collaborative

This study aims to measure the correlation between vocabulary achievements and speaking achievement at second semester students of English study program in Halu Oleo University. The design of the study was research deign or correlational design; the type of the study was quantitative approach. The problem of the study was, is there any correlation between vocabulary achievement and speaking achievement at second semester students of English study program in Halu Oleo University? The population of this research was the second semester students of English Department in Halu Oleo University in the academic year of 2018/2019 with a total number of 120 students. It was divided into two class they are A and B. There are 105 students taken as sample in this study by using purposive sampling technique.  The instruments of this research are mid test score of vocabulary examination and basic speaking Examination. The result of calculation using SPSS 20 program found that, (r (105) = 0.459, p = 0.000) was also higher than r at 5% and 1% significant level. It could be concluded that alternative hypothesis (H1 table) stating that there is a significant positive correlation between vocabulary achievement and speaking achievement at second semester students of English Department in Halu Oleo University and null hypothesis rejected. Based on the research findings, it is shown that there is positive correlation between vocabulary achievement and speaking achievement at second semester students of English Department in Halu Oleo University. It means that students’ who had much vocabulary performed speaking better than the student who had lack of vocabulary.

This study aimed at determining the effectiveness of the application of learning objects based on Articulate Storyline 3 on student cognitive in the Basic Computer System course in the Informatics Engineering Education Study Program at the Ganesha University of Education. This type of research was descriptive quantitative with a pre-experimental research design involving 1 experimental class. The populations used in this study were all semester 1 students of the Informatics Engineering Education study program in the Basic Computer Systems course in the odd semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. Random sampling was using simple random sampling technique. The average pretest result was 57.12 and the post-test average is 79.81. The paired pretest-posttest t-test resulted in the Sig. equal to 0.000 which indicates that there is a significant difference in the average pretest and posttest results. The percentage of student responses to the learning model is 64.19. This shows that self-confidence in learning objects based on Articulate Storyline 3 on student cognitive abilities "Very Practical". The results of the N-Gain value showed the proportion of 60%. It can be sais that the application of learning objects based on Articulate Storyline 3 has a significant effect on cognitive abilities of the students, cognitive ability increases quite effective and the category of student response is very positive.
