This article analyzes three Pedagogical Course Projects (PPC) in the area of Biological Sciences through a research instrument called Matrix of Knowledge – M(S). The methodological procedures were based on Discursive Textual Analysis (ATD). The vertical and horizontal readings of the M(S) Matrix revealed, respectively, the following distributions of the analyzed excerpts: 77.2% were in column 3 (teaching) and 85.5% were allocated in the first line (epistemic). Data analysis also revealed an important gap: it is the absence of excerpts in column 2 of the M(S), dedicated to the determinations of knowledge in relation to teacher learning. This is a worrying result, as the PPCs do not mention or provide considerations for teachers about how to conduct their classes (methodological aspects), how to think about content perspectives (epistemic aspects), finally, how to develop the conditions of the teaching action.

This article is an attempt to understand how digital activism was used to express dissent towards the CAA 2019 that proposed citizenship based on religious identity. The study analyses the trending tweets on CAA through the corpus method. The data analysis showed that how Twitter is used both by the citizens and political parties to promote their views. The majority of Twitterati expressed its discomfort towards the Act that was passed hurriedly by stressing heavily on its “unconstitutionality” & “non-secularity”. The pertinent questions of secularism, citizenship, immigration were found to be poorly dissipated and hateful hashtag movements ruled the discourse. The whole discourse was found to be extremely rigid over the issue of nationality and citizenship status of Muslims and NRC. The statistically significant scores of tests like collocate, N-grams, word clusters, and concordances too showed similar results with an inclination towards negative sentiments for the Act.

The purpose of this study was to improve the ability of teachers in making lesson plans through guided discussions at SMKN 3 Gowa. The research used is school action research which is carried out in 2. This research instrument uses tests and non-tests. The data analysis technique used was descriptive which was carried out through three stages, namely: data reduction, data exposure, and inference. The results of this study indicate that the data in the first cycle with an average value of 59.7 with completeness of 43.3% and the ability of teachers to use lesson plans by 50% where these results have not reached the target set, then the action is taken in Cycle II by doing improvement of learning and lesson plans, so that learning outcomes increase to 72.0%. So it can be concluded that the guided discussion method can improve the ability of teachers in making lesson plans at SMKN 3 Gowa.

Effect of Small Sided Games and Interval Training on Aerobic Endurance of U-17 Soccer Players AbstractThis study aims to compare the effect of small sided games and interval training on the aerobic endurance of U-17 soccer players. 24 soccer players under 17 attended a 6-week training program divided into 2 groups: SSG group (n = 12) and IT group (n = 12). The research instrument used was Yo-Yo Intermitten Recovery Test. Two-way ANOVA is used for data analysis. Players from both groups showed a similar increase in aerobic endurance during the 6-week training period. These results indicate that SSG and IT are equally effective in developing the aerobic endurance in U-17 soccer players (p 0.05).

One crucial factor in determining the successes of learning in schools is the teachers’ performances. Teacher’s performance not only determines the learning successes but also the achievements of the organizational goals. This study aims to determine the effects of the work environment, work motivation, and organizational culture on the teachers’ performance in the XYZ School. The number of subjects in this study was 82 teachers who taught at the XYZ, both the Primary and Secondary levels. A quantitative approach with the PLS-SEM method, in which the Smart PLS application was implemented to process the data, was used in this study. For the data collection, a survey technique using a questionnaire was selected as a research instrument. The results of the data analysis have shown that the work environment, work motivation, and organizational culture have positive effects on performance.

Abstract The follow-up of fifty-seven patients were conducted after a confirmation genotyping test. The secondary data analysis was done on the data available to observe the correlation between the CD4 counts and viral loads (One of the markers of clinical outcome) of the individual North Indian patients infected with HIV-1 Subtype C. The drug resistance mutations in individual patient were analysed through the drug resistance database, Stanford University, USA. The data of resistance associated with drugs, CD4 counts, viral loads of the individual patient was compiled and statistically analysed for drug resistance pattern profiles using Microsoft Excel 2016 and SPSS Version 22. The normality of data was checked by Shapiro-Wilk test (p<0.05). The study starting and endpoint data on CD4 counts, viral loads and drug resistance patterns associated with multiple first-line ART was available for 24 north Indian patients. The starting and study endpoint data on CD4 counts and drug resistance patterns associated with multiple first- line ART was available for 33 North Indian patients. The study indicative that the recommendation of policy to provide a tailor-made individualized regimen to each patient under AIDS control program.

The problem with this research is that most of the endurance (VO2maks) players are in the low category. This is known from the race activities carried out by the SSB Muspan soccer team. This study aims to determine the effect of interval training with the ball and fartlek training on increasing VO2Maks. This type of research is a quasi-experimental sampling technique in this study using purporsive sampling. The number of samples in this study were 20 people. The research instrument used to measure VO2Maks in this study used the Multistage Fitness Test. The results of data analysis there is the effect of interval training with the ball on increasing VO2Maks, there is the effect of fartlek training on increasing VO2Max, there is a significant effect of interval training with the ball and fartlek training on increasing VO2Max. Thus it can be concluded that interval training with the ball and fartlek training have a significant effect on increasing VO2Maks capacity

The terms biometrics and biometry have been used to refer to the field of development of statistical and mathematical methods applicable to data analysis problems in the biological sciences. Recently biometrics refers to technologies and applications applied for personal identification using physical and behavioral parameters. Biometric security systems ensuring that only the authorized persons are permitted to access a certain data, because it is difficult to copy the biometric features pattern for a specific person. Biometrics is playing an important role in applications that are centric on identification, verification and classification. This chapter focuses on biometric security in their types, specifications, technologies and algorithms. Some algorithms of biometric security are also included in this chapter. Finally latest and future aspects of biometric system and merging technologies are also mentioned, including more details of system structures and specifications and what constitution will shape biometric security of in the future.
