They also believe that dreads should only be cut if the child in question has the will / asked for it and must be done throughrituals ruwat or ruwatanled by local traditional elders. This sentence can only be done after the parents fulfill the "whatever" request submitted by the child. It is said that if the cutting of dreads is not done through a sacred ritual, dreads will grow back and the child tends to be sick. This research presents how important the body language in oral communication for the foreign language users is in cross cultural communication. Yet, very little attention has been given in the international setting for incorporating paralinguistics into the classroom environment. This paper aims to explain the essential elements of paralinguistics, and to have a special consideration on the use of paralinguistic elements by foreign language learners in a Turkish context. The participants of the study included 68 EFL tertiary level students at a state university in Turkey. The data were collected using a questionnaire “Paralinguistics in Spoken English” developed by the researcher. Descriptive statistics, frequencies and independent samples t-test procedures have been calculated to analyze the collected data. It has been found that item 34, 49, 43, 31, 46 (see Table 2) are the most frequent used proxemics and kinesics by the participants. There is a significant difference in terms of the use of the kinesics and proxemics regarding both gender and regional differences. The results reveal that cultural values should be taught as paralinguistics to prevent both intra cultural and inter cultural communication among EFL students.

Rokat tase ’is part of the tradition of the Gebang Village community which is carried out for generations. Rokat Tase 'is carried out every year by the people of Gebang Village as an effort to maintain tradition. Gradually, the implementation of this tradition underwent changes in line with changes in the socio-religious conditions of the people of Gebang Village. In the tradition of rokat tase ', this change is seen, for example, from a series of processions that have nuanced animism-dynamism into a series of Islamic traditions. This happened along with the strengthening of Islamic values in the Gebang Village community. Strengthening Islamic religious values has an influence on the series of implementation of the Rokat tase tradition. At present, the tradition of the Rokat Tase 'in Gebang Village already contains and contains Islamic values. Among them are the recitation of the tahlil, the recitation of the prayer of the Prophet and the reading of prayers offered to Allah SWT. This is far different from the initial conditions of the implementation of the Rokat tase tradition, which was originally nuanced with animism-dynamism.

ABSTRACT: Character education in Islam has its own style, as well as the character values con- tained in various learning media for early childhood. This study is a follow-up study to find the effect of Movie Media with Islamic Character Values (M-ICV) in shaping "Ahlaqul Karimah" in early childhood. Using an experimental method with a control class, which involved 19 respondents of early childhood. Data shows that the ttest < t table (0.75 < 2.110), meaning that there is a significant difference in effect between the experimental class and the control class. The results conclude that M-ICV is able to form a child's "Ahlakul Karimah" slowly, because the child likes various movies with content interesting and easy to imitate. The implications of further research on movie content development for children are able to develop other aspects of children's development.
