This   research   (1999)   entitled   "The  Influential   Factors   Toward   the   Work  Force Productivity  of The  Wiraraja University In Sumenep - Madura",  is driven by the heart call as an Indonesian citizen to participate  in effort to make the nation 's life cleverer and to  increase  Indonesian  people  quality  in  realizing  a  developed , just   and prosperous society based on Pancasila (The State Ideology) and 1945 Constitution. It is realized that to increase work productivity,  human resource factor  in developing a University is very important,  especially  lecturers  who are  in reality always  have  direct  contact  with  the student in the learning - teaching process.  So, the research to know work productivity in University is very important to carry out. The chosen population for this research in the employees of The Wiraraja University In Sumenep which is located in the eastern tip of the Madura island, with total employees 74, and those whom are used for samples are 54i.e. those who don't occupy a position as the Rector, Assistant Rector, Dean, and Assistant Dean. This research is carried out LO test the hyphotesis by processing data through analysis of data of dependent variable (work productivity) and independent variables (motivation, discipline, work climate, and accupational opportunity). After we have discussed, finally we draw a conclusionThe first hyphotesis test, about influence of independent variable which contains motivation, discipline, work climate, and accupational apportunity variables toward independent variable (work productivity variable) is retained. Work productivity amount to 58%, and the rest amount to -12 % is influenced by other independent variables whict are not included in this research. The most dominant  variable from those four independent variable namely motivation, discipline, work climate, and occupational opportunity variable, is the motivation variable (regression coefficient = 0.3488) subsequently by work climate variable (regression coefficient = 0.224 1), discipline variable (regression coefficient= 0.1621), and occupational opportunity variable (regression coefficient = 0.1183).

This research was conducted based on the desire of the researchers to find out how much influence the Work from Home policy has on the effectiveness and productivity of work, especially for workers in the Tangerang area The dependent factor studied was the Work from Home policy as the independent variable (Y), while the independent factors were effectiveness (X1) and work productivity (X2). The resulting t value for the work effectiveness variable is 0.647 with sig 0.519. The results of this significance analysis are greater than 0.05, so it means that individually the work effectiveness variable does not have an impact due to the WFH policy. The resulting t value for work productivity variable is 6.103 with sig 0.000. The results of this significant analysis are smaller than 0.05, meaning that individually the work productivity variable has a significant impact on the implementation of WFH policies. The results obtained in this study are based on the SPSS calculation, the F count is 19.504 with F sig. 0,000 where F sig. 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, so Ho is rejected. It can be interpreted that simultaneously work effectiveness (X1) and work productivity (X2) have a significant impact on the implementation of WFH policy (Y). This calculation also forms the equation Y = 9,112 + 0.108 X1 + 0.681 X2 + e. The R square value obtained from the SPSS calculation of 0.236 (23.6%) can be interpreted that work effectiveness (X1) and work productivity (X2) explain the impact of variations in the variable implementation of WFH policy (Y) by 23.6% and the rest is influenced other independent variables amounted to 76.4%.

This study aims to determine the effect of Competence and Compensation on Employee Performance (Case Study on Hotel Employees in the city of Pagar Alam). By using primary data and secondary data, this research uses the Ordinary Least Square method. The results of this study are the findings of the influence of Compensation and Compensation on Employee Performance (Case Study on Hotel Employees in the City of Pagar Alam) can be explained as follows. Based on the Regression analysis in the table above, the constant value α = 38,868 and coefficient b1 =. 083 and b2 = .396, so that the multiple linear regression equation is: Y = 38.868+ 0.083X1 + 0.396X2. The regression equation that has been obtained can be used to predict the value of the independent variable and the dependent variable, as follows: A constant value of 38,868 means that if all independent variables are zero, then the performance of hotel clerks in the city of Pagar Alam is valued at 38,868. Competence (X1) has a regression coefficient of .083 meaning that each increase in Competency by 1 unit then the performance of hotel employees increases by .083 assuming the other factors remain. Compensation (X2) has a regression coefficient of .396 meaning that each increase in compensation is 1 unit, the performance of hotel employees increases by .396. From the determination coefficient table above, it can be seen that the R Square figure is 0.931. This means that the influence between the independent variables with the dependent variable is 93.1% while the remaining 6.9% is influenced by other factors outside the regression model analyzed. From these figures it can be concluded that the influence of the independent variable with the dependent variable is very strong. Kompensasi (X2) mempunyai koefisien regresi sebesar .396 artinya setiap kenaikan kompensasi sebesar 1 satuan maka kinerja karyawan hotel naik sebesar .396.

Most previous research has examined the relationship between FB addiction and burnout level by conducting cross-sectional studies. Little is known about the impact of changes in burnout on FB addiction in an educational context. Through a two-way longitudinal survey of a student population sample (N = 115), this study examined the influence of changes in academic burnout over time and FB motives and importance (measured at the beginning and the end of the semester) on FB intrusion measured at the end of the academic semester. The findings show that: (1) increases in cynicism and in FB motives and importance significantly predicted time2 FB intrusion; (2) FB importance enhanced the prediction power of changes in the academic burnout total score, exhaustion and personal inefficacy, and reduced the regression coefficient of changes in cynicism; (3) the interaction effects between FB social motive use and changes in academic burnout, as well as between FB importance and personal inefficacy and exhaustion, accounted for a significant change in the explained variance of time2 FB intrusion. About 20–30% of the variance in time2 FB intrusion was explained by all the examined variables and by the interactions between them. The results suggest that changes in academic burnout and FB motives and importance are suppressive variables, as including these variables in the regression model all together changed the significance of the relationship between independent variables and FB intrusion.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate online viewers’ preferences concerning the number and duration of video advertisements to watch during commercial breaks. The goal of the investigations was to assess whether online viewers preferred watching a fewer number of advertisements with longer durations or a greater number of advertisements with shorter durations. Design/methodology/approach Two studies used experimental research designs to assess viewers’ preferences regarding advertisements. These designs used two independent variables and one dependent variable. The first independent variable manipulated the type of choice options given to online viewers (e.g. one 60 s or two 30 s advertisements). The second independent variable manipulated when the choice was given to online viewers (i.e. at the beginning of the viewing experience or in the middle of the experience). The dependent variable measured viewers’ choices concerning their preferred advertisement option. Findings The results across both studies found that participants made choices that minimized total advertisement exposure time when possible. When minimizing total exposure time was not possible, participants made choices that minimized the number of exposures instead. Originality/value These investigations extend the literature on advertisement choice by examining online viewers’ preferences about the format of their advertising experience rather than the content of the persuasive messages themselves. In addition, these investigations provide value by investigating viewers’ responses to stimuli within realistic online simulations rather than abstract hypotheticals.
