 Abstract: Extracurricular activity is another activity that is done in extra time. That has purpose to get more knowledge and skill of students. In fact there are some of students did not know extracurricular activity because of some reason.This research is descriptive research. The population of research is students of class VIII SMPN 22 Padang, a number of 298 populations. The sample takes as random with random sampling75 populations. The data is collected by using enquette. Analyzed by using percentage technique. The research said 1). The talent that’s had by students channeled well after following extracurricular activity. 2). After following extracurricular activity, the students can develop their social ability in society. 3). Students creativity can channel well after following extracurricular activity at SMPN 22 Padang. 4). After following extracurricular activity at SMPN 22 Padang, students can make a plan student career in future based on the research, we hope that headmaster gives support to extracurricular activity with delivering facility as student needed, giving a facilitator with hoping the achievement of students will expand as optimal. The learning independence of students is still low as the background of the implementation of this research. The purpose of this research is to describe the independence of students using Lesson study and Problem Based Learning models in mathematics learning. This type of research is descriptive research. The population is all students of class VIII of Junior High School Pertiwi 2 Padang in 2019/2020. Sampling was done by purposive sampling and determined class VIII-2. The research instruments were the learning independence questionnaire and the Lesson Study observation sheet. Analysis of learning independence data is described based on the results of the pretest and protest scores. The Lesson Study was carried out in 4 rounds using the Problem Based Learning model which included Plan, do, and See activities. The results showed that there was an increase in students' learning independence through the implementation of Lesson study with the Problem Based Learning model.

This study entitled the effect of giving various orange peels as a repelence of rice lice (Sitophillusoryzae L.) and its contribution to pest and disease material in plants in class VIII. This study aims todetermine the effectiveness of various orange peels as a repelence of what type of rice lice andorange skin is most effectively used as a repelence of rice lice. The type of research used in thisstudy is quantitative descriptive research (where the data collection process uses statistical analysis)and the experimental method. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using Analysis ofVarience (ANOVA). Analysis of the variance of the treatment effects for a complete randomizeddesign (CRD) was carried out according to the F test. Based on the results of the research, eachtreatment was significantly different from the control. The highest percentage of rejection wasfound in the treatment of lime peel, which amounted to 56.25 at 76 hours and the lowest percentagewas found in the treatment of sunkist orange peel ie 27.5 at 76 hours. Hypothesis testing results forF count treatment (19> 1.79) and F count Factor A (40> 2.99) and F count on Factor B (102> 3.20),this states that slices of various orange peels (Citrus sp.) very significant effect to reject riceinfestation (Sitophillus oryzae L.), so that it is stated that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus itcan be concluded that various citrus coolies are effective as repelensi rice mites (Sitophillus oryzaeL.).

The problem of this research was initiated by the learning process of Physical, Sport and Health Education which was not run well. This research was aimed at revealing the students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation toward the learning process of Physical, Sport and Health Education subject at SMP N 1 Kota Payakumbuh. This was a descriptive research. The population of the research was all of students (287) in grade VIII of SMP N 4 Kota Payakumbuh. By using random sampling technique, 20% (55 students) of the population were takenas the sample. The data were obtained by making use of the questionnaire of Gudman’s scale. The data gathered then were analyzed by using statistic of descriptive percentage. Based on the results of data analysis, it was figured out that: 1) the students’ intrinsic motivation toward Physical, Sport and Health Education subject at SMP N 4 Kota Payakumbuh is 44.6% (average), and 2) thestudents’ extrinsic motivation toward Physical, Sport and Health Education subject is 41.8% (average). From these results, it is concluded that the students’ motivation toward Physical, Sport and Health Education subject, in general, is in average category.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada materi peluang setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) di kelas VIII. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII.1 SMPN 1 Palembang yang terdiri dari 29 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu tes tertulis yang terdiri dari tiga soal uraian dan wawancara sebagai pendukung data tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada materi peluang secara keseluruhan dikategorikan baik dengan rata - rata adalah 76,09, dengan rincian siswa terkategori sangat baik sebanyak 20,69%, terkategori baik sebanyak 44,83%, terkategori cukup sebanyak 24,14%, dan terkategori kurang sebanyak 10,34%. Siswa yang terkategori sangat baik dan baik secara keseluruhan mampu menentukan peluang kejadian dengan mencari banyak ruang sampel dan kejadian suatu percobaan dengan baik. Sedangkan siswa yang terkategori cukup dan kurang masih belum mampu menentukan peluang kejadian yang disebabkan oleh kesalahan dalam menentukan banyak ruang sampel dan kejadian suatu percobaan. Kata kunci: hasil belajar; CMP; peluang This research is a descriptive research that aims to find out student learning outcomes in material of probability after applying model of learning namely Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) in class VIII. The subjects of this research were students of class VIII.1 from SMPN 1 Palembang which consists of 29 students. Technique of collecting data that used on this research were written test which consist of three essay question and interview as a supporter of test data. The research results shows that student learning outcomes in the material of probability overall are categorized good with the average is 76.09, with categorized of excellent students as much as 20.69%, good categorized as much as 44.83%, enough categorized as much as 24.14% , and the low categorized as much as 10.34%. Students who are categorized excellent and good, overall are able to determine the probability of the event by finding sample space and events of an experiment well. While students who are categorized enough and low still have not been able to determine the probability of events caused by errors in determining the sample space and the event of an experiment. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif (Descriptive Research). Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 34 orang peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada materi lingkaran. Berdasarkan hasil deskriptif hasil belajar matematika peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi lebih meningkat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata hasil nilai LKPD menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yaitu 89,63 dan rata-rata nilai tes yaitu 84,56.Kata Kunci : Deskriptif, Hasil Belajar Belajar, Problem Based LearningABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to describe the results of learning mathematics students VIII grade SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu with Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The ability of students to understand the concept of learning varies, it is very necessary to know the level of understanding of students' concepts in learning mathematics, so that it becomes a rationale in determining the appropriate learning approach. This study aims to determine the effect learning approach of the ELPSA eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Makassar. The type of research used is experimental research. The design of this research is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Makassar in the 2019/2020 academic year and the research sample was determined by the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The instrument in this study was an essay test on understanding mathematical concepts. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential. The descriptive research results show that there is an increase in understanding of the mathematical concept after the application of the ELPSA learning approach; the score of concept understanding after the application of the ELPSA learning approach met the completeness criteria, namely more than 80; and completeness of students' conceptual understanding after being applied classical ELPSA learning approach is 97% complete. The inferential hypothesis testing results show that the application of the ELPSA learning approach affects the understanding of mathematical concepts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Makassar.

The purpose of this study is to determine the opinion and attitudes of the preschool teacher candidates about the contribution of the drama lesson for their vocational and personal developments. The research sample consists of 62 students who take drama lessons in 2nd class in Department of Preschool Teaching of Teachers College of Sakarya University in 2014-2015. This study is actualized by descriptive research method that is one of the qualitative research techniques. Semi-structured interview form is used as the data collection tool. The content analysis is made by being interpreted the data collected. According to the results obtained, the teachers like the drama lessons when they took in university, and this lesson makes major contributions to their personal life and careers. It is confirmed at the end of this research that the attendees and the preschool teacher candidates notice the importance of the drama lesson at the right time and afterward as well. It is seen that the personal and vocational gains such as communication skills, verbal ability, empathy and social ability, body language, self-reliance, problem-solving, creativity, cognitive skills, awareness, learning by experience, psychomotor skills, taking responsibility skill are the qualifications that wanted to be gained by the students.

This study aims to describe the activeness of the members of the physics science study group by implementing the Ludo Board Game and seeing the students' responses to the application of the Ludo Board Game in increasing the activity of the members of the physics science learning group. To achieve this goal, descriptive research has been carried out using the Ludo Board Game game. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII MTS DDI Seppange in the 2019/2020 school year, which may be 24 people. The data research method used was observation (observation), questionnaires, interview techniques and documentation. Furthermore, the analysis technique is carried out by means of proportional descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the increase in the activity of students' study groups after the implementation of the Ludo Board Game (LBG). Meanwhile, the students' responses to the application of Ludo Board Game in increasing the activeness of members of the physics science study group were very feasible, namely for the quality of the content with an eligibility level of 81.25% and a 94.53% usage level.

The purpose of Teen Consultation Center (TSC) extracurricular is to develop students’ ability become youth counselor. The purpose of this research is to describe TSC extracurricular activity at SMA N 7 Padang based on the students’ opinion about the development TSC by counseling teacher and TSC implementation by youth counselor. This research can be categorized quantitative approach, descriptive research. Research finding explains students’ opinion about TSC development by counseling teacher is good and TCR implementation has been done.

Social ability is one aspect that must be owned by children, where with this social ability children will socialize with their surrounding environment. Empathy is an ability to understand and feel what is being experienced and thought by others. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how to describe the empathy attitude of B1 children in Islamic Kindergarten Daud Khalifatulloh Padang. The research method was used in descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study state that B1 children have a good empathy attitude, which is seen based on the aspects of empathy, such as cooperation, solidarity, tolerance, helping, compassion, caring, and tolerance
