ABSTRACT The purpose of this research are (1) describe the quality parameters of settlement, (2) analyze the distribution of quality of settlements, (3) test the accuracy of interpretation Quickbird. Methods used for the quality of settlements is scoring and overlay. Accuracy of interpretation used confusion matrix method. Based on research result show that (1) the quality parameter of the settlements is the density of the settlements has a medium quality of 120 Ha, the pattern of the building layout has a bad quality of 182 Ha, tree protective settlement has a bad quality of 233 Ha, the road width has bad quality the extent of 207 Ha, the condition of residential road has good quality which is 204 Ha, and the residential location variable has medium quality which is 91 Ha. (2) the distribution of settlement quality in the subdistric Mandiangin Koto Selayan for the medium quality of settlements are having an area of 125 Ha, the quality of bad settlements has an area of 118 Ha. The medium quality of the settlements is the most in the village Kubu Gulai Bancah while the bad quality is the most in the village Campago Guguak Bulek. (3) test image accuracy using confution matrix produce accuracy of image that is 94,73%.

The aim of the work is to investigate statistical characteristics of multimedia services traffic of IP-network on the basis of the service information analysis of package headings. The investigation method is mathematical mod-eling in the Mathcad 14 environment. As a result of the investigations, a mathematical apparatus allowing the fulfillment of a point and interval assessment of separate constituents of voice messaging quality and also the decisionmaking regarding the satisfaction degree by users with the service offered. In the work on the basis of measurements with the aid of the Wireshark program and the TCP protocol there are carried out the investigations of permissible fields in a quality parameter variation of voice message perception. A stochastic tie is revealed between transfer standard quality parameters by means of plotting diagrams and histograms of the assessments of these parameters mutual impact. The most significant indices of transfer quality parameters form the standpoint of their impact upon quality of voice message perception are RTT indices and loss factors.

The presence of communication, their density, quality, parameters to a large extent determine the strategy, logistics, tactics and overall success of military conflict resolution. On the territory of Bukovina, which is marked by an intensely dissected topography and a high degree of afforestation, the road network adapted to these difficult conditions. It played a decisive role in the implementation of the historical-geographical process in its belligerative format. From this position military conflicts signifying for Bukovyna were analyzed. The battle in the Kozmin forest (October 1497) between Poland (Jan Olbright) and Moldova (Stefan the Great) (Chernivtsi region, Glybotsky district) is very interesting for military history. Due to the high level of forestness of the territory and a small number of roads, the battle took place along the main road at a distance of 20—22 km. For those times it became a unique phenomenon. The tactics of the forest ambush allowed a much smaller Moldovian army (a maximum of 16—17 thousand people) to achieve significant success in a short time. Was destroyed more than half of the living force of the enemy, captured several thousand Poles, seized all the siege technology, artillery, column, carriage of the king. As a result, from 50—60 thousand Polish troops returned home only a dozen of personal guards of the king. In October 1685, fighting near the villages of Boyany — Raranche (Novoselytsya district) took place between the troops of the Polish crown hetman Jan Jablonowski (30000 soldiers) and the Turkish-Tatar-Moldovian coalition (about 140 thousand soldiers). The commander, who was pressed to the forested hills of Khotyn highland, had to look for ways to retreat by forest roads. Due to their small quantity and poor condition, carrying out rearguard battles, he managed to save the army from defeat. The author supposed 3 options for choosing a retreat path. Now is necessary to determine the actual road with additional research using a metal detector. In November 1691, near the village of Ropcha (Storozhynets district), after leaving Moldova, the army of Jan Sobieski, on the only one old transit route here, fell on a three-day snow storm. Non combat losses was more than 50 % soldiers, 100 % ammunition, artillery, many horses and carts. The reason is in a small number of dwellings near this road and in the absence of feed. In 1739, during the Russo-Turkish War, the Russian army under General von Münnich in the territory of the Khotyn Hill unexpectedly and illogically used the difficult path for maneuvering across forests between the villages Zhuchka and Raranche. As a result of the two subsequent battles, the Turkish Army was broken up. Thus, the historical geographic analysis on the principle of reflection gives the excellent opportunity to identify the nature and course of military events, exploring the network of ancient routes.

This paper present empirical research result on factors affecting the quality of medical service at the Outpatient Department of some public hospitals in Hanoi. This reserch based on the SERVQUAL model and conduct with 140 patients and 140 patient’s family members who came to these hospitals. The result show that Assurance and Tangible have the most impact to the quality of medical service. We analyze the mean value of the result and see that the Tangible factor has the lowest value and it is the patients and their family members most perceptive factor. Therefore, we focus on analyzing, interpreting and proposing a number of micro and macro solutions to manage the Tangible factor to help improving the quality of healthcare service throughly but sequentially through each step, each zone.

Most cocoa beans in Indonesia are traditionally produced by farmers using non fermented and sun drying method. The quality of cocoa beans produced by farmer in yogyakarta may be improved by the fermentation method. However, it needs optimization for best fermentation process. The aims of the study was to improve quality of cocoa bans by fermentation of sun dried cocoa beans. The characteric fermented cocoa beans was determined by maesuring changes pH, acidity and fermentation indexs of cocoa beans during fermentation. This study used preconditioned cocoa beans to resamble obtain from the farmer. Preconditioning was done in order to get 15% mouisture content of pulp at same level as moisture content of pulp from traditional process. Before fermentation, therefor sun dried cocoa beans was rehydrated to obtain a moisture content of pulp similiar to fresh beans pulp, and then fermentation was conducted for 120 hours. Changes in acidity and fermentation indexs of cocoa beans during fermentation were measured. The fermentation process used 3 level treatment i.e. control (without inoculum), mixed culture of microbies added at the begining fermentation. The result show all cocoa beans acidity increase during fermentation from 4,48% to 6,45% for control, 4,64% to 6,39% for addition of inoculum at begining of fermentation and from 4,45% to 6,59% for addition of inoculum at the begining and midle of fermentation and fermentation indexs of cocoa beans increase for all level of inoculum addition i.e. 0,31 to 0,88 for control, 0,32 to 0,99 for addition of inoculum at the beginning fermentation and 0,33 to 1,03 for addition of inoculum at the beginning and midle of fermentation. The study indicated that addition of mix culture microbies in fermetation improved the quality of cocoa beans that characterized by pH, acidity and fermentation indexs of cocoa beans.

Purpose Owing to high competition in education sector, quality in education has become utmost important criteria to deliver better education service. For this purpose, it is required to monitor the quality of education. This paper aims to prioritize National Board of Accreditation (NBA) quality parameters in engineering education as per student’s needs using quality function deployment (QFD). Design/methodology/approach This study is conducted among students of an institute of National importance in three stages. Stage 1 involves conducting interview with 23 students to find the student’s requirement from an institute. Further Stage 2 involves importance rating collection through questionnaire survey method. In this stage, 228 students have given a rating of each student’s requirement. Finally, Stage 3 involves establishing correlation between student’s requirement and NBA quality parameters that has been done by 20 academic experts and finally making a QFD matrix for ranking of each NBA quality parameter. Findings The result of the study first indicates that among all students’ requirements, job-oriented requirement is the most important need, and ergonomics-based requirement is the least important need of students. Further, to fulfill their needs, an institute has to focus on each NBA quality parameter. But among all NBA quality parameters, student’s performance is highly desirable quality parameter. Practical implications This study will help top management of engineering institutions in making better policies and strategies for preparing their quality framework. These strategies will indirectly fulfill the customer needs that help in attracting more number of students toward those institutes. Originality/value In India, NBA is one of the leading bodies that monitor the quality of education. On the other hand, the institution has to satisfy the need of customer of education sector; therefore, prioritization of NBA quality parameter as per student’s need is one of the important needs that will help engineering institution to focus on a certain parameter to get a good quality certificate and also attract a number of meritorious students.

There is an upward trend towards reducing or suppressing additives in foods, as well as reducing the use of E-numbers in labels providing clean label foods. Therefore, the development of confectionary products based exclusively on natural ingredients with antioxidant properties may offer valuable solutions to the confectionery industry. Fruit juices and purées may provide functional and organoleptic properties in jelly candies in a natural way. The consumption of pomegranate fruit and derivative products has increased due to their association with health benefits. The aim of this study was to determine consumer insights about pomegranate-based jellies, cultivar “Mollar de Elche”, as affected by formulation (100% pomegranate juice or 50%–50% pomegranate juice–apple purée) and type of sweetener (sugar or honey), and to link affective and descriptive data from sensory studies. The most valued quality parameter of pomegranate products, red color (measured by the green–red coordinate, a*), was not negatively affected by jelly preparation. It was determined that the main liking drivers for pomegranate jellies were intense red color and high brightness. The results might be used by pomegranate processing companies to improve their manufacturing protocols and to develop successful products meeting consumer demands and needs. The formulation containing 20% gelatin, pure “Mollar de Elche” pomegranate juice, 1% citric acid, and sucrose as sweetener provided the best quality of jellies in terms of color, texture, antioxidant capacity, and sensory attributes.

This research was conducted in the village of West Bulontio Sumalata District of North Gorontalo District. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of service in the supply of water by taps in the village Bulontio Sumalata Western District of North Gorontalo District. A study that describes the water supply from the taps that are still not able to meet the needs of citizens, service by officials still have not been up in response to the desire of citizens, poor human resource quality is not adequate. The research result that the quality of public services addressing water supply in the village of West Bulontio Sumalata District of Gorontalo district can be quite good though not optimal and should be improved in both technical and non-technical. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bulontio Barat Kecamatan Sumalata Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas pelayanan dalam penyediaan air bersih oleh BLU-SPAM di Desa Bulontio Barat Kecamatan Sumalata Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara. Suatu penelitian yang menggambarkan Pasokan air dari BLU-SPAM yang masih belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan warga, Pelayanan oleh aparat yang sudah maksimal dalam merespon keinginan warga, Kualitas sumber daya aparat yang belum memadai. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa kualitas pelayanan publik penyediaan air bersih di Desa Bulontio Barat Kecamatan Sumalata Kabupaten Gorontalo dapat dikatakan cukup baik meskipun belum optimal dan harus lebih ditingkatkan lagi baik secara teknis maupun non teknis.

Rusk and ring-shaped bakery products relate to the group of long-stored ones. For today it is urgent to use ingredients that give products functional properties in food technologies. The important source of food fibers, full-value protein, unsaturated fatty acids, mineral substances and vitamins are grain and oil-bearing crops. Buckwheat and flax seeds are separated among them due to the valuable chemical composition and positive effect on the human organism. The aim of the work was to establish the influence of buckwheat flour and flax seeds on the technological process course and quality of long-stored bakery products. Buckwheat flour of green and dark buckwheat of TM “Organic-Eco-Product” (Ukraine) is used in the rusk technology. For producing ring-shaped products (ring-shaped crackers), gold flax seeds were used. Research results testify that good quality parameters of bread for producing rusks from it, were achieved at dosing green buckwheat seeds as 20 % and dark ones as 15 % instead of the flour mass. It has been established, that rusks with adding green buckwheat flour have quality parameters, corresponding to requirements of normative documents. It has been proven, that it is not expedient to use dark buckwheat flour in the rusk technology, because ready products have the increased water share and soaking index. It is connected with the influence of the operation of hydrothermal processing of grains that dark buckwheat flour is produced of, its high water-absorbing and water-retaining capacities. For the technology of ring-shaped crackers, enriched with flax seeds, it is recommended to dose flax seeds as 15 % of the flour mass. At such dosage bakery products got the highest number of points by the complex quality parameter and corresponded to requirements of normative documents.

The area of Jenon Water Source has been determined as tourism development area. This research is aimed to arrange the spatial development brief of Jenon Water Source. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The research result show that regional arranfement is needed. Where in the area arrangement in Sumber Jenon carried out in this project has a positive effect in Gunungronggo Village, which can improve the economy of the Gunungronggo Village community and improve the quality of Human Resources in Gunungronggo Village by adding a central souvenir in Sumber Jenon.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Modernisasi Pengolahan Sagu di Desa Cenning Kecamatan Malangke Barat Kabupaten Luwu Utara (1982-2017) dengan mengungkap pengolahan sagu sebelum modernisasi, proses modernisasi pengolahan sagu serta dampak dari modernisasi.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengolahan sagu sebelum adanya modernisasi masih bergantung pada alat-alat tradisional. Modernisasi pada proses pengolahan sagu ditandai dengan penggunaan mesin yang diperkenalkan oleh Muh. Majid pada tahun 1982. Pada proses perkembangannya secara perlahan alat modern menggantikan alat tradisional. Modernisasi memberi dampak pada peningkatan hasil produksi, peningkatan tenaga kerja,  dan efisiensi waktu pengolahan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penggunaan teknologi modern pada proses pengolahan sagu lebih efektif dan efisien di banding dengan menggunakan alat-alat tradisional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian sejarah yang meliputi heuristik yaitu tahapan pengumpulan data, kritik sumber bertujuan menilai dan menentukan sumber, interpretasi yaitu menafsirkan data dan tahap historiografi atau penyajian atau penulisan sejarah. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara penelitian lapangan terdiri dari wawancara (Petani Sagu) dan literatur-literatur  yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. This study aims to study the modernization of sago prosessing in the village og Cenning, Malangke Barat Sub-district, West Luwu District (1982-2017). By revealing the processing of sago before modernization, the proccess of medernization and impact of modernization. Research result show that sago processing before modernization still depends on tradisional tools. Modernization in the rocessing of the sagoo is maked by yhe use of machines introduced by the Muh. Majid in 1982. In the process of development slowly modern tools replace traditional tools. Modernization has an impact on increasing production output, increasing labor and processing time efficiency. Baced on the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of modern technology in theprocessing og the sago is more effective  and afficient compared to using traditional tools. This research uses historical research methodologies which include heuristics namely the stages of data collection, source criticism aimed at assessing and determining sources , interpretation, namely interpreting data and historiographic stages or presenting or writing history. The data collection method was carried out by means of field research consisting of interviews (sago farmers) and the literature relating to this research.Keywords: Sago, Processing, Cenning
