This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline and physical work environment on the performance of employees at the Padang Panjang City Tourism Office. This research is descriptive research. The population in this study were all employees of the Padang Panjang City Tourism Office. This study uses primary data. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 20. The results of this study indicate that 1) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Padang Panjang City Tourism Office employees with a significance value of 0.038 <0.052) The physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Padang Panjang City Tourism Office with a significance value of 0.031 <0.05 3) work discipline and physical work environment both have a positive and significant influence on the performance of the Padang Panjang City Tourism Office employees with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05.Keywords: work discipline, work environment and performance

<em>This research was conducted based on the existence of problems in the competence and physical work environment of employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of competencies and physical work environment simultaneously or partially on the performance of employees of PT. Suzuki Indomobil Motor. The sampling technique is the sample random sampling technique. The type of research used is descriptive and verivative research methods, with data collection techniques using primary data and secondary data. The results showed that competency, physical work environment, and performance were categorized quite well. Based on the calculation, it can be seen that simultaneously the competence and physical work environment have a positive and significant influence on the performance of the employees of PT. The purpose of this research is to find out the variables that affect the employee performances in PT. XYZ. The population consist of employee  of PT. XYZ using probability sampling method that of 127 respondents, 85 (67%) were male and 42 (33%) were women.. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis technique. The results of the testing of hypotheses shows that physical work environment, remuneration, status, social work environment, recognition, supervision, work itself, achievement has significant influence to employee performances.

This research aimed to determine the influence of work environment on service quality at Labor and Industry Agency of Padang City. This was an associative study with a causal relationship variable. The population of this study was all of people who received services at Labor and Industry Agency of Padang City on July 2018. Sample of this research consisted 265 respondents, determined through the table of Isaac and Michael with a level of 10% error. Data in this research were collected through questionnaires and analyzed with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis by SPSS version 22.0 software. The results of this research showed that there was a significant influence of physical work environment (X1) on service quality (Y) with a contribution amounted to 22.3%. Then, there was also a significant influence of non-physical work environment (X2) on service quality (Y) with a contribution amounted to 8.9%. Furthermore, there was also co-significant influence on the physical work environment (X1) and the non-physical work environment (X2) simultaneously on service quality (Y) with a contribution as many as 25.8%.

This study was conducted to determine (1) the effect of physical work environment and internal communication on employee morale, (2) the effect of physical work environment on employee morale, (3) the effect of internal comunication on employee morale. This research is descriptive associative. The population in this study were employees of the Education Office of West Sumatra Province with 182 employees. The total sample is determined using the Slovin formula and cluster proportional random sampling. From this pattern, 125 employees were obtained as research samples. The technique used to analyze data is multiple regression analysis. Based on this study, it was found that (1) physical work environment and internal communication had a positive and significant effect on the morale of West Sumatra Provincial Education Office employees (2) physical work environment had a positive influence and significantly affected the morale of West Sumatra Provincial Education Office employees (3) internal communication had a positive effect and significant to the morale of employees of the Education Office of West Sumatra Province. Keyword: physical work environment, internal communication, employee work spirit

This research entitles Analysis of the Effect of Work Environment and Compensation to the Work Satisfaction (A Study at the Department of Agriculture, Marine and Fishery of Kota Mataram). It is aimed at analyzing the effect of physical work environment, non-physical work environment and compensation to the work of the staffs at the Department of Agriculture, Marine and Fishery of Kota Mataram, both simultaneously and partially. This particular research is an associative research. Those surveyed are 103 staffs in total who are employed as civil servants at that particular department. The sample of the research was selected using total sampling technique, in which it took all civil servants as respondents. The instruments were examined using multiple linier regression analysis method, in which the software SPSS 20 was used to examine research hypothesis. The research reveals that ,(1) physical. non-physical work environment and compensation partially effected the staffs’ work satisfaction significantly, (2) physical. non-physical work environment and compensation simultaneously effected the staffs’ work satisfaction significantly, (3) physical work environment effected the staffs’ work satisfaction dominantly.Key words: Physical Work Environment, Non-Physical Work Environment, Compensation and Work Satisfaction

Individual characteristics and work environment are considered as crucial aspects for companies that want to improve their employees’ performance. PT Trakindo Utama specifically Samarinda branch is one of many branches of PT Trakindo Utama in Indonesia, which become the sole agent of Caterpillar products in Indonesia. Caterpillar itself is the world's leading manufacturer of heavy equipment originally from USA. This research aims to determine the influence of characteristics and non-physical work environment of the employee performance in parts Department at PT Trakindo Utama Samarinda branch. The individual characteristics (x1) and non-physical work environment (x2) are used as independent variables while the performance of employees (Y) as dependent variable. Primary data is obtained by conducting interviews to 34 respondents by using questionnaires while secondary data is obtained by conducting field observation. Data analysis uses a double linear regression technique by using SPSS 22 software. The results show that the individual characteristic variables does not have any partial effect toward the performance of the employees of Parts Department PT Trakindo Utama Cabang Samarinda branch and individual characteristic variables (X1) and non-physical work environment (x2) are simultaneously influential in the performance of the Employees (Y) Parts Department at PT trakindo Utama, Samarinda branch.  Suggestions for PT Trakindo Utama Samarinda Branch, the company should hold a family gathering in order to improve not only for each employees relations but also with bosses to stay awake, provide suggestions and evaluate employee work which can effectively improve employee performance, manage the best possible time so that the job can be completed on time.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between leadership style and non-physical work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable for employees of BBTKLPP Yogyakarta. This research method uses quantitative descriptive using primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires. In this study using the sesnus technique, where all populations are taken, each population has the same opportunity to be sampled. The number of samples taken in this study were 110 questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS and Smart PLS. The results showed that leadership style had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance level of 0.042 <0.05, so hypothesis I was accepted. The non-physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, so hypothesis II is accepted. Leadership style has no positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance level of 0.455 > 0.05, so hypothesis III is rejected. Non-fictional work environment has no positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance level of 0.256 > 0.05, so hypothesis IV is rejected. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance level of 0.006 < 0.05 (p <0.05), so hypothesis V is accepted. Leadership style on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable with a significance level of Z score 1.57 < 1.96 then hypothesis VI is rejected. Non-physical work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable with a significance level of Z score 2.51> 1.96 then hypothesis VII is accepted. This study aims to determine the effect of recruitment and training on the commitment and performance of Village Bussiness Entity managers in Kampar district. The population in this study were all managers who were members of Village Bussiness Entity in Kampar Regency. Primary data in this study were collected by using questionnaire as research instrument to prove the results of the study. Multiple regression analysis with the assistance of the SPSS program was used to test the hypothesis in this study. The sampling technique was purposive sampling method (30 Village Bussiness Entity in 30 Kampar District Villages). The results showed that: 1) There's is positive and significant influence between recruitment and commitment of Village Bussiness Entity, 2) There was positive but not significant effect between training and commitment of Village Bussiness Entity managers, 3) There is positive and simultaneously significant effect between recruitment and training towards Village Bussiness Entity, 4) There is positive and significant effect between the commitment and performance of Village Bussiness Entity.

This study aims to find out how much influence the Physical Work Environment on Employee Job Satisfacion (Study of the Bima City Library Departement employees). While the formulation of the problem of this research is whether the Work Environment affects the Employee Job Satisfacion (Study of the Bima City library staff). The research instrument used a questionnaire. The type of research  used Associative, this study was conducted at the Bima City Library Office, the population in this study was a total of 43 employees and the sample used in this study amounted to 30 employees using purposive sampling technique (sampling based on criteria). Data analysis used is a simple linear regression analysis using the equation, namely: Y = a + bx. The results of the initial analysis show that the indicators used are valid for measuring existing variables. The result of subsequent analyzes show that the Physical Work Environment variable influences the regression coefficient of 0.752Keywords: Physical Work Environment, Employee Job Satisfacion
