This study aims to determine the preservation of Ambek-ambek dance by SanggarTimbulun Koto Basaga in Koto Anau village, Lembang Jaya District, Solok Regency.This research belongs to a qualitative research using a descriptive method. The object of this research wasAmbek-ambek dance by Sanggar Timbulun Koto Basaga in Koto Anau village, Lembang Jaya District, Solok Regency. The main research instrument in this study was the researcher itself. The tools used in the research were writing instruments, photo cameras, and flash drives. The data were collected through literature studies, observation, interview, and documentation. Ambek-ambek dance tells about a woman who was sewing. Then a man arrived to draw her attention so they joke together.The results show that Ambek-ambek dance is preserved through protection, development, and utilization. Protection is carried out by holding dance training every two times a week, development is carried out by developing the costume section but it still sticks to traditional values, and utilization is carried out by performing dance at school events, alek nagari, competition events, and wedding parties. Thus, Ambek-ambek dance is known by all groups both local and outside the city.Keywords: Preservation, Ambek-ambek Dance, Koto Basaga Timbulun

This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of Drum Band extracurricular activity at SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci. This is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The research instrument used was the researcher itself. It was also supported by supporting instruments such as notebooks, stationaries, and a cellphone camera.From the results of the study, it can be described that there are some stages in the implementation of Drum Band Extracurricular activity at SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci. The stages start from selecting members, determining practice materials, determining practice schedules, doing rehearsals, and performing the Drum Band. To get maximum results, the coach creates two forms of training.  One is the routine exercises carried out on Saturdays during self-development lessons, and another is the additional exercises carried out two weeks before participating in the competition. The first exercise begins with a group practice of musical instruments and is continued with a combined practice of all musical instruments. Keywords: Implementation, Extracurricular, Drum Band

This study aims to explore and describe the implementation of Culture and Arts instruction based on the revised 2013 curriculum of 2016 edition at SMP Negeri 3 Padang. This is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The research instrument was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing tools and cameras. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysiswas conducted through collecting the data, describing the data, taking conclusion and making suggestions. The results showthat the unisono singing instruction conducted by teachers in class VII-2 of SMP Negeri 3 Padang has not gone well and had not met the targets of the learning objectives and the objectives of the revised 2013curriculum. This can be seen from the planning, implementation, and evaluation. Thereisnorelevancy between the lesson plans and those implemented by the teacher in the classroom. Teachers do not fully understand the concepts and techniques of singing unisono so that students do not understand the subject matter. The results of the unisono learning evaluation of students in class VII-2show that the highest score got only reached 87, the lowest score was 75, and 10 students did not reach the cut score.Keywords : Implementation, Instruction, 2013 Curriculum

Abstract This study aims to determine and describe the implementation of drumband extracurricular activity in SDN 48 Ganting Padang. This type of research was qualitative research with using descriptive method including literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The research instrument was the researcher. The Supporting instruments used were notebooks and stationery, photo cameras / mobile phones. This study explains that drumband is one of the extracurricular activities in SD Negeri 48 Ganting Padang. Drum Band is used to support flag ceremony. Besides, drumband is used by the community for babako parade events. Based on the results of the study, it is found that the implementation of the drumband begins by designing the principle of activity consisting of determining the participants of the exercise taken fromthe students at class VI, then determining the training time every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. The material used namely marching exercises and musical exercises training that consisting of the song Indonesia Raya, Independence Day, Bangun Pemuda Pemudi, Bareh Solok, Ayam Den Lapeh, Malam Bainai and Moment of Silence. This extracurricular activitiy runs in accordance with the plans that have been made by the school.Keywords: implementation, extracurricular, drumband

This study aims to describe the implementation of morning greetings in the development to sosial ethics on cultural behavior 5S (smile, greetin, greeting, polite, and courteous). The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research with descriptive method and percentage technique. The subjects of the study were VB students of 26 student.The research instrument is qualitative research that is self researcher, assisted by observation and interview guides plus quesionnaire sheect. Technique analysis of observation data and interview in narration while quesionanaire data(tecnique ercentage). From the result of research with the detail of the research that carry out the 5S culture well as many as 18 student(69,23%),able to undestand the implementation of sapa thismorning to prove the existence of the relationship of the morning greeting and behavior of the student, as many as 24 student(92,30%)23 students (96,15%)were able to have greeting attitude,as many as 23 student(88,46%)23 students(88,46%) able to have polite attitude. So the cunclusion of this study is that it can be said that the students of VB class have been implementing culture 5S well.

Background. In this research, we aimed to investigate the effects of outdoor camps on orienteering athletes. Methods. The study group consisted of 74 athletes (44 males and 30 females, aged 11.94 ± 1.32 years) who participated in Bolu outdoor camp on the 3 rd –13 th of August, 2015. Interview technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used as data collection tool and content analysis method was used for data analysis. Results. Demographic factors were interpreted after the analysis of the obtained data and three main research questions were discussed under the topics of the views of athletes about the concept of Orienteering which is an outdoor sport, themes and codes regarding the purpose of Orienteering by the students who participated in the outdoor camp, and themes and codes about the outcomes of Orienteering for the students who participated in outdoor camps. Conclusion. It is suggested that a policy must be developed within the Ministry of Youth and Sport and Sport Federations in order to disseminate more deliberate and more comprehensive outdoor education among young people and measures should be taken to provide extensive participation.

Balinese language is one of the regional languages in Indonesia that has a unique talk system, it is still alive and used as an instrument of communication of Balinese tribe so that it should be well maintained in order to still exist as a cultural vehicle of Bali. The Balinese language has anggah-ungguh kruna (level-word) that an important role in the formation of speech-level or anggah-ungguh basa Bali. This paper aims to describe the identification anggah-ungguh kruna (word level arrangement) which is the specific feature of speaking Balinese. This research is a qualitative research discuss with structuralism theory. Data collection was done by observation and interview method, assisted by recording technique. The collected data is processed by analytical descriptive method. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be described that anggah-ungguh kruna basa Bali include: (1) kruna nenten alus (kruna kasar, mider, and andap); (2) kruna alus, include: (kruna alus singgih, alus sor, alus mider, and alus madia).

. The paper deals with the issues of using the linguistic cultural approach to teaching Russian and Russian as a native language to boost learners’ cognitive activity. During the study, the basic principles and types of linguistic cultural work are characterised. The paper also describes areas where linguistic cultural material can be used. Additionally, a number of specific tasks facilitating learners’ cognitive skills development are given. The descriptive method is the main research tool in conjunction with some elements of comparative analysis. It was found that the linguistic cultural approach to teaching Russian and Russian as a native language is an important component in education as it enhances learners’ cognitive activity. Moreover, it provides comprehensive solutions to teaching and educational challenges.

The introduction of Quranic and Fardhu Ain courses (Kelas Al-Quran dan Fardhu Ain (KAFA) by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) is an effort to produce a generation that is moulded by the teachings of Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah. However, there are specific ḥadīths quoted in the textbook that require further attentive verification. This study seeks to verify the status of the ḥadīth mentioned in the ‘Aqīdah textbook in the eyes of the Ahlussunnah Wal Jama’ah scholars. This is because ‘Aqīda his the most important subject in Islamic studies.This research is a qualitative research which uses data analysis method, where allthe data and information obtained will be analysed using descriptive method. The method of takhrijal-ḥādīth will be applied to verify the status of the ḥadīths. This study reveals that there are six ḥadīths mentioned in the ‘Aqīdah textbook and the status of 3 of them are problematic. The origin of one of these ḥadīths isunknown while two of them are not properly narrated. This study also suggests the establishment of a committee or panel that is comprised of ḥadīth scholars/experts from the local universities in order to makesureall ḥādīths mentioned in the textbooks would adhere to the prescribed standards.

This study describes the Javanese language used by the presenters when bringing a wedding ceremony in the Sidoarjo area. Organizers have many variations of the language used at weddings with Javanese customs. The research method uses a qualitative research method approach where this research is in the Tambak Kemerakan village area, Krian sub-district, Sidoarjo district. The time of the research was carried out from May to July 2021. The data collection techniques in the study were in the form of documents, interviews and observations. The research instrument used a mobile phone and a list of questions to the presenters. The results of the study show that the use of language includes language variations, language variations based on lecturing functions, language variations in terms of formality using official language. Code switching in this study is an analysis of the language used when hosting weddings. And the occurrence of language code mixing in the form of Javanese krama alus switching to Indonesian and language interference in its morphological and phonological use.

One of the basic mediums in the interaction between doctor and patient in the treatment room is language. This paper, hence deals with the conversation in doctor-patients interaction in Pirngadi General Hospital in Medan, Indonesia. Clauses in the conversations were adopted as the main research data. The analysis is based on the theory of Systemic Functional Linguistics pioneered by Halliday (2004). The research was conducted by applying top-down approach from the analysis of the consultation in terms of context of situation that is concerned with register variables covering field, tenor and mode. Then, the analysis further focuses on the experiential function in terms of transitivity system covering the analysis of the processes used the participant functions involved and the interpersonal function covering mood and modality. The study was conducted by using descriptive qualitative method with triangulation. It refers to the use of multiple methods or data sources in qualitative research to develop a comprehensive understanding of phenomena. Triangulation is viewed as a qualitative research strategy to test validity through the convergence of information from different sources. The results of the analysis have revealed that social relation exists in the language used by the doctor and the patient in their interaction in which the doctor has more power over the patient.
