This study aims to investigate the improvement of students' mathematical concepts understanding through the application of Guided, Explained, Collaborated & Evoked (GECE) Learning Strategy. The GECE Learning Strategy originates from the integration of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model and Guided Discovery learning model. The quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design was employed in this study. The instruments used were a test in the form of a description based on real-world concepts and a questionnaire to determine students' responses in the process of learning mathematics. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney test, it was obtained that p <α (0.001 <0.005) which shows that the application of the GECE learning model affects students' mathematical concept understanding with n-gain of 0.62 (medium category). The effectiveness of the learning model applied was measured using Cohen's formula and a value of 1.88 (high category) was obtained. The results were also supported by positive students' responses of 3.45 which means that the integration of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model and Guided Discovery learning model could effectively improve students' mathematical concepts understanding.

The purpose of this research were to know: (1) the effect of REACT learning model on the students’ understanding of mathematical concepts, (2) the effect of guided discovery learning model on students' understanding of mathematical concepts, (3) the difference in students’ mathematical concept understanding obtained by using REACT learning model and guided discovery learning. This research type was quasi experiment with entire class VII MTs Al-Islam Joresan as population and class VIIA and VIIB as sample. Class VIIA was taught  by using the REACT learning model and class VIIB was taught by using the guided discovery learning model. The instrument used was a question sheet of concept comprehension test and data collection the technique was test and documentation. The concept comprehension test results were analyzed using t test with significance level of 0.05. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the REACT learning model has an effect on the students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. In addition, the guided discovery learning model has an effect on the students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. Both REACT learning model and guided discovery learning model showed no difference in students’ mathematical concept understanding.

The aims of this research to gain the result of effect TANDUR model to mathematical concept understanding and student’s mathematical reasoning. This research was quasi experiment with pretest-postest control group design. The population in this research was students of seventh grade SMP N 2 Natar academic year 2017/2018. The sampling technique used random sampling technique and divided onto two groups, experiment group and control group. The results of this research were: 1) there was influence of TANDUR learning model to mathematical concept understanding. 2) there were influence of TANDUR learning model to mathematical reasoning. 3) TANDUR model learning can affect simultaneously of mathematical concept understanding and mathematical reasoning.

At the time of the Covid-19 pandemic, all learning was carried out online or online learning, while schools and students had to follow the existing curriculum in their schools, which of course not all of their lessons were happy. Mathematics is one of the subjects that is always a scourge for students, regardless of those who enjoy mathematics. The reasons vary, some say the lessons are difficult to understand, students are not interested in learning mathematics, the teachers are boring, and so on. So that many parents of students who provide additional tutoring for their children by hiring math teachers, in the hope that their children are mathematically intelligent. This study aims to examine the effect of using animated interactive multimedia on students' understanding of the concept of understanding mathematical concepts. The population of this study were students of class VII MTs Darul Ulum Muhammadiyah Galur even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Of the five existing classes, two classes were taken randomly as samples with one class as the experimental class and one class as the control class. This study used the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research data were obtained through a test in the form of a description of the rectangular and square material. The results showed that there was a difference in the understanding of mathematical concepts in students who used animated interactive multimedia higher than the understanding of mathematical concepts of students who took conventional learning, and there was a positive and significant effect of the use of animated interactive media on the Mathematical Concept Understanding of Class VII MTs Darul Ulum Muhammadiyah Galur Tahun Students 2019/2020 Teaching

AbstrakRendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Langke Rembong tahun ajaran 2018/2019 menjadi latar belakang masalah penelitian ini. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di sekolah ini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu, dengan menggunakan desain Posttest Only Control Group Design.  Populasi yang dipilih  dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Langke Rembong  sebanyak 211 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dan anggota sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes pemahaman konsep matematika yang berbentuk tes uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kontekstual lebih baik dari pada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Model pembelajaran kontekstual dinilai dapat menghubungkan materi yang dipelajari dengan situasi kehidupan nyata. Contextual Learning Model’s Effect on Mathematical Concept Understanding of Middle School StudentsAbstractThe low ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students in grade VIII Langke Rembong 4 Public Middle School 2018/2019 school year fits the background of the problem of this research. The goal of this study was to discover the effect of contextual learning models on understanding the mathematical concepts of students in this school. This type of research is quasi-experimental research, using the design of the Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population chosen in this study were all eighth -grade students of Langke Rembong 4 SMP Negeri as many as 211 people. The sampling technique used random sampling and the sample members in this study were 60 people. Data was collected by using mathematical concept understanding test instruments in the form of description tests. The results of the study show that understanding the mathematical concepts of students who are taught by the contextual learning model is better than understanding the mathematical concepts of students who are taught with conventional learning models. The contextual learning model is assessed to be able to relate the material learned with real-life situations.

The objective of the research is to describe whether there is a difference of students' understanding of mathematical concepts using cooperative learning model of TAI type and Problem Based Learning (PBL) and show the cause of the difference. This study included experimental research with randomized control group design pretest posttest design. The result of the research shows that (1) the understanding of students 'mathematical concepts with cooperative learning model of TAI type is not significantly different from the understanding of students' mathematics concept with PBL learning model; (2) the understanding of students 'mathematical concept with cooperative learning model of TAI type is not significantly different from the students' with conventional learning model, (3) understanding of student math concept with PBL learning model is significantly different with understanding of student math concept with conventional learning model. So that there is effect of cooperative learning model of TAI type and problem based learning (PBL) to the students' math concept.

Abstrak: Salah satu model yang dapat digunakan untuk melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik adalah model pembelajaran guided discovery. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik pada tahun  2019 bertempat di SMA 6 Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design with pre-testand post-test. Teknik pengambilan sampel digunakanpurposive sampling, sehingga terpilih XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan berupa model  pembelajaranguided discovery sedangkan kelas kontrol diberi perlakuan berupa model pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah (KPM) berupa tes uraian dan tes hasil belajar berupa tes pilihan ganda untuk pre-tes digunakan materi gerak harmonis sederhana, untuk post-tes digunakan materi elastisitas zat padat,  dengan mempertimbangkan validitas, reliabilitas, taraf kesukaran soal dan daya beda soal. Uji analisis hipotestis  menggunakan uji manova bantuan IBM SPSS 23. Hasil uji hipotesis didapatakan nilai signifikan 0,004 pada taraf nilai signifikan 0,05 yang artinya H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik.Kata kunci: Guided discoveri, Kemampuan pemecahan masalah, Hasil belajarAbstract: One model that can be used to practice problem solving skills and improve student learning outcomes is the guided discovery learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of guided discovery learning models on problem solving abilities and physics learning outcomes of students in 2019 at SMA 6 Mataram. This type of research used quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, so XI MIPA 4 was chosen as the experimental class and XI MIPA 5 was chosen as the control class. The experimental class was treated as a guided discovery learning model while the control class was treated as a conventional learning model. The research instrument consisted of a problem solving ability test in the form of a breakdown test and a test of learning outcomes in the form of a multiple choice test for pre-tests using simple harmonic motion material, for post-tests the material used was solidity elasticity, taking into account validity, reliability, level of difficulty problems and different power problems. Hypothesis analysis test using IBM SPSS 23 manova test. Hypothesis test results obtained a significant value of 0.004 at a significant value of 0.05 which means that H0 is rejected. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis pengaruh model guided discovery learning berbantuan media simulasi PhET terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain the matching only post-test control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 22 Palembang yang terdiri dari 6 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dan mengambil 2 kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes pemahaman konsep Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen = 85,00 dan kelas kontrol sebesar   = 71,92. Hasil uji-t berpasangan diperoleh    >  yaitu 8,17 > 1,67; yang berarti ada pengaruh secara signifikan penerapan model guided discovery learning terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa model guided discovery learning berbantuan media simulasi PhET secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.       The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of guided discovery learning models assisted by media PhET simulation of the understanding of students' physics concepts. The research method used was quasi-experimental with the matching only post-test control group design. The population in this study was all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 22 Palembang consisting of 6 classes. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique and took two classes as the experimental class and the control class. Data collection using concept understanding test instruments. The results showed that the mean understanding of the experimental class concept = 85.00 and the control class = 71.92. The results of the t-test are obtained t_count> t_table that is 8,17> 1,67; which means that there is a significant effect of the application of the guided discovery learning model to the understanding of students' physics concepts. It was concluded that the guided discovery learning model assisted by PhET simulation media significantly influenced the understanding of students' physics concepts compared to conventional learning.

This research was instigated by the problem in the field showing that their mathematic concept understanding ability was low at Islamic Junior High School of Al Hidayah Singingi Hilir. One of learning anternative strategy could direct to the students in increasing mathematic concept understanding ability was scoffolding learning straytegy. the research aimed at investigating whether there was or not difference mathematic concept understanding ability between students joining Scaffolding learning strategy and student joining teacher implementing based on their learning motivation at Islamic JuniorHigh School of Al Hidayah Singingi Hilir.  It was quasi experimental research with nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. Population of this research were the students at the eight grade of Islamic Junior High School of Al Hidayah Singingi Hilir. Sample of this research was used sampling purposive technique. VIII of B as experimental group was given Scaffolding learning strategy and VIII of A as the control group given teacher learning implementing.Instrument of collecting data was used decription test to measure their mathematic concept understanding and questionnaire to measure their learning motivation. Abstract. This research has been made to know skill of student’s concept by using active learning strategy everyone is teacher here (ETH). Beside that this study aims to measure student’s concept understanding with statistical test between Experimental Class (Active Learning Strategy Everyone Is Teacher Here) and control class (Conventional Learning ). The population was seventh grade of SMPN 3 Lirik consist 94 students in three classes. Sample was took randomly, experiment class ( VII.2 ) and control class ( VII.I ) This research was experiment, the form of this research was Quasi Experimental Design with randomized subject posttest only control group design. based on statistic data processing has been retrieved - t hitung -3,159 smaller than - t table was -2,000 and based on t test has been retrieved -thitung < -t table so Ho rejected and Ha received. IMPLEMENTASI DISCOVERY LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN SENI BUDAYA BIDANG SENI RUPA:  EKSPERIMEN PADA SISWA KELAS VII SLTPAbstractThe aim of this research was to find out the effect of using discovery learning strategy on the students’ performance in the Arts and Culture subject at SMPN 18 Padang. It was a quasi-experimental research which applied Pretest- Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research were all students registered in the first semester in the academic year 2014/2015, and the samples were chosen purposively (purposive sampling). The source of the data was the written test administered to the students. The data obtained then were analyzed statistically. The test consisted of multiple choice questions on theories of arts and culture. T-test was used to prove the hypothesis of this research. The finding of the research showed that the students taught by using discovery learning strategy performed better than those taught by using conventional teaching strategy. T-test digunakan untuk membuktikan hipotesis penelitian ini. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran penemuan dilakukan lebih baik daripada yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan strategi pengajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: strategi pembelajaran penemuan, seni dan budaya, Hasil belajar
