The purpose of this research is to analyze the students' mathematical connection ability before and after getting Contextual Teaching and Learning. The subjects were the 26 students of class VIII-A at SMI 1 MANIIS, Purwakarta Regency. The research used the descriptive method with the qualitative approach. The data for the analysis were from the test to student consist of 5 questions with 4 different indicators. The results shows that all students have moderate in mathematical connection ability with the overall results of 65.83%. For the results of each indicator, there is one indicator that has not been met, understanding the equivalent representation from one procedure to another one, or from one concept to another concept. So it can be concluded that the mathematical connection ability in terms of the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach has a significant effect.

Mathematics is a basic science that is very important to learn from elementary school to university. Thus the mathematical material provided must be oriented to the needs of the appropriate level of education. The purpose of this study was to determine the completeness of MTsS Lam Ujong students' learning outcomes in the broad and circumferential material through the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was class VIII-1 MTsS Lam Ujong 2018/2019 academic year, with a number of students 20. The sampling technique was carried out randomly. Data collection techniques using test and non-test instruments (observation and interviews). Based on the calculation results, it can be concluded that the MTsS Lam Ujong Student Learning Outcomes in the Material Area and Circumference through the Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach have reached completeness standards. Abstrak Matematika adalah ilmu dasar yang sangat pentingdipelajari sejak Sekolah Dasar, sampai Perguruan Tinggi.Dengan demikian Materi matematika yang diberikan harus berorientasi kepada kebutuhan jenjang pendidikan yang sesuai.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa MTsS Lam Ujong pada materi  luas dan keliling lingkaran melalui pendekatan Contextual Teaching andLearning. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan  kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah  kelasVIII-1MTsS Lam Ujong Tahun pelajaran 2018/2019, dengan jumlah peserta didik 20.Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes dan non tes (observasi dan wawancara).Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Hasil Belajar Siswa MTsS Lam Ujong Pada Materi  Luas dan Keliling Lingkaran Melalui Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning telah mencapai standar ketuntasan. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran Realistic Mathematic Education (RME), Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL), dan konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ekperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMPN 24 Bengkulu Utara dengan sampel yaitu siswa kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen I, siswa kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen II, dan siswa kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes kemampuan representasi matematis siswa  kemudian  di analisis dengan uji Anava. Hasil analisis uji Anava menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang diajar melalui pendekatan RME dengan pendekatan CTL, maupun dengan pendekatan konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kelas yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran RME diperoleh rata-rata skor akhir kemampuan representasi matematis siswa sebesar 16,8. Kelas yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran CTL diperoleh rata-rata skor akhir kemampuan representasi matematis siswa sebesar 17,9. Sedangkan dikelas yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional diperoleh rata-rata skor akhir kemampuan representasi matematis siswa sebesar 13,80. Hasil uji BNT (Beda Nyata Terkecil) diperoleh bahwa perlakuan yang memberikan hasil yang berbeda adalah perlakuan antara eksperimen I dengan kontrol dan eksperimen II dengan kontrol.   Abstract This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the mathematical representation abilities of students who are taught using the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME), Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL), and conventional learning approaches. This type of research is quasi experimental research. The population of this research was all class VIII SMPN 24 Bengkulu Utara with a sample of students of class VIII A as the experimental class I, students of class VIII B as the experimental class II, and students of class VIII C as the control class. The data were collected by means of a mathematical representation ability test of the students and then analyzed using the Anava test. The results of the Anava test analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the mathematical representation abilities of students taught through the RME approach with the CTL approach, as well as the conventional approach. The results showed that the class that was taught using the RME learning approach obtained an average final score of students' mathematical representation ability of 16.8. Classes taught with the CTL learning approach obtained an average final score of students' mathematical representation abilities of 17.9. Meanwhile, in the class taught by conventional learning, the final average score of students' mathematical representation ability was 13.80. The results of the LSD test (Least Significant Difference) showed that the treatment that gave different results was the treatment between experiment I and control and experiment II with control.

The purpose of this study is to determine the response of students and the experts to multimedia-based interactive learning media with the approach of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) on wake-up space that has been developed. The method used in this research is 7 stages from 10 stages of development and development method from Borg and Gall which have been modified by sugiyono. The 7 stages are potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, design improvement, product testing and product revision. The instrument of data collection used is questionnaire of student response and material expert validation. Based on data analysis obtained from material experts and media experts stated that interactive multimedia-based learning media with contextual teaching and learning approach (CTL) is feasible to use, and data analysis obtained from students stated that interactive multimedia is very good. This means that interactive multimedia developed by researchers can be used as a learning resource for students of SMP / MTs class VIII

<span lang="EN-US">The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) In SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Jambe Timur. Produce material to analyze the extent to which the pursuit approach has been run in school. To describe CTL learning approach include a) Design of Learning Activities; B) Implementation or Process of Learning Activities; C) Evaluation of learning outcomes. The research method used is descriptive research. In this research, the technique used to collect data is survey technique. The study population is all teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Jambe Timur that is 31 teachers. Data collection techniques used through the dissemination of questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that; The implementation of a contextual learner approach in SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Jambe Timur has been implemented at 71 percent or has an average grade of 2.85. Also, 29 percent or 1.15 is influenced by other learning approaches. In the first indicator, modeling has an average value of 2.59 or 64.75 percent has been implemented by teachers at school. In the second question indicator (Questioning) has an average grade of 3.02 or 75.5 percent has been implemented by teachers in school. In the third indicator, the Learning community has an average grade of 3.17 or 79.25 percent has been implemented by school teachers. In the fourth indicator, the inquiry (find) has an average value of 2.55 or 63.75 percent has been implemented by teachers in the school. In the fifth indicator of Constructivism has an average value of 3.19 or 79.25 percent has been implemented by teachers in school. On the sixth indicator, Reflection has an average grade of 3.44 or 86 percent has been implemented by school teachers. On the seventh indicator, Authentic Assessment has an average grade of 2.68 or 67 percent been implemented by school teachers.</span>

Direction of career planning become very important because it can guidelines students in decisions making of his career in the future.  Direction of career planning should be prepared and improved considering that not all students have a mature direction of career planning. Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sumatera in August 2014 recorded the open unemployment of about 6.99%  or reach 150 thousand people are more dominated by graduates SMK as much as 11.15%. In addition, the results of AUM umum in one of the SMK was indicated problems in careers and jobs as much to 33.56%. This demonstrates that students do not have a clear understanding about direction of career planning that will be chosen. One of the efforts to improve the students direction of career planning is the information service.  This research was intended to find out the effectiveness of information service with contextual teaching and learning approach to improve the direction of career planning student of SMK.This study uses quantitative methods. This type of research is Quasi Experiment with Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-posttest Design. The subjects were students of SMK Padang Nusatama as an experimental group and the SMK Nasional Padang as a control group. The research instrument used Likert Scale models, and then analyzed using Paired Samples t-test and Independent Sample t-test with SPSS version 17.00.In general the study's findings that information service with contextual teaching and learning approach is effective in improving direction of career planning student of SMK. Specifically: (1) there was a significant differences between direction of career planning in the experimental group before and after the given information service with contextual teaching and learning approach, (2) there was a significant differences between direction of career planning in the control group before and after the given conventional information service, and (3) there was a significant differences between direction of career planning in the experimental group who were information service with contextual teaching and learning approach and those in the control group who were conventional information service.

This type of research is a development or R&D which aims to produce a product in the form of quadrilateral learning media based on Adobe Flash CS6 with a valid Contextual Teaching and Learning approach ti facilitate the mathematical connection ability. This study is the research, development model of plomp with consist of three phase is preliminary research, prototyping phase and assessment phase. The instrument used to data collection in this study were questionnaire of epert validation learning media. The device develoved was validated by three validators including two lecture and one teacher junior high school. From the resulting validation data the average score from three validator is 3,4 which means that the learning media is in the valid category with the value obtained is B which means that the learning media can be used with a little revision

This research was motivated by the learning outcomes of students' natural sciences that were still low. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes with the application of the Contextual Teaching And Learning approach. This research is a classroom action research consisting of II cycles with research subjects in class VI of 007 Kampung Baru State Primary School Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The results showed that, judging from the basic score, the lowest value of students was 50 while the highest score of students was 85 with an average grade of 62.78 with an incomplete category. in the first cycle the lowest value of students was 65 while the highest value of students was 90 with an average grade of 74 with a complete category. For learning outcomes in cycle II, the lowest value of students is 75 while the highest value of students is 100 with the average value of class 84.47 with complete categories. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the Contextual Teaching And Learning learning approach assisted by media images can improve the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences students of class VI 007 Public Primary School Kampung Baru, Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency.

<span>In this paper, we share two blended learning approaches used at the National Institute of Education in Singapore. We have been using these two approaches in the last twelve years in many courses ranging from the diploma to graduate programs. For the first blended learning approach, we integrated one asynchronous communication tool with face to face tutorials, classroom discussions, and a reflection session. For the second blended learning approach, we integrated two asynchronous tools with face to face tutorials in a course. We discuss the theoretical foundation of the two blended learning approaches. In addition, we share insights from these two blended learning approaches, based on the students' data (online postings, questionnaires, reflection logs, and interviews), as well as our own reflections. Finally, we describe and discuss several important lessons learned that could inform the design of future instructional strategies in implementing blended learning in university teaching and learning settings.</span>

Artikel ini menyajikan apa itu pembelajaran kontekstual dan apa saja karakteristiknya? Apa itu kemampuan penalaran statistis? Mengapa pembelajaran kontekstual dapat mengembangkan kemapuan penalaran statistis siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama? Kemampuan penalaran statistis sangat penting dimiliki oleh siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama, karena dengan kemampuan penalaranr statistis ini siswa dapat memiliki kompetensi dalam hal: 1) memahami informasi-informasi statistis yang tersurat maupun yang tersirat pada setiap permasalahan yang dihadapi. 2) Pemahaman yang baik terhadap bagaimana cara memilih, menyajikan, mererduksi, dan mempresentasikan data yang akan digunakan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang ada. 3) pemahaman dan penalaran yang baik terhadap proses statistis secara keseluruhan termasuk setiap perhitungan yang terlibat dalam proses tersebut. 4) pemahaman untuk memecahkan masalah secara statistis berdasarkan data yang ada, dan menginterprestasikannya dalam pengambilan keputusan yang dapat berlaku secara umum. Oleh karena itu untuk mengembangkan kemampuan penalaran statistis tersebut harus mempertimbangkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Model pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk siswa Sekolah Pertama salah satunya adalah pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning). Pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual ini mengambil permasalahan-permasalahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari atau permasalahan yang disimulasikan dengan dialog, diskusi,, tanya jawab, dan representasi. Aktivitas pengajaran kontekstual yang dikembangkan adalah: a) belajar berbasis masalah, b) belajar dengan multi konteks, c) belajar mandiri, d) penilaian otentik, dan e) masyarakat belajar.This article presents a contextual learning what it is and what are its characteristics? What is the statistical reasoning skills? Why contextual learning can develop statistical reasoning Traffic junior secondary students? Reasoning ability is very important statistical owned by junior high school students, because of the ability of these statistical penalaranr students may have competence in terms of: 1) understand the statistical information expressed or implied in any problems faced. 2) A good understanding of how to choose, present, mererduksi, and present data that will be used to address existing problems. 3) understanding and reasoning that both the statistical process as a whole including any calculations involved in the process. 4) understanding to solve the problem of statistically based on existing data, and interpret it in decision-making that can be applied generally. Therefore, to develop the statistical reasoning skills should consider learning approach used for junior secondary students. Model learning approach that is appropriate for school students first one of which is a contextual learning approach (Contextual Teaching and Learning). This contextual learning approach to take problems in daily life or simulated problems with dialogue, discussion ,, question and answer, and representation. Contextual teaching activities developed are: a) problem-based learning, b) learning with multi context, c) self-learning, d) authentic assessment, and e) a learning society.

This article will describe learning to write auotobiografi text using Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The method used in the research, namely the experiment with the design of One-Group Pretest-Postest. Technique of collecting data in the form of test, observation, and questionnaire. The population in the study of students of class XI SMK Nurul Islam Cianjur, with a sample of 22 students. From the results of the study known the average value of the initial test 60.45 and the average value of the final test 80.91. The result of calculation with t-test known value that is 11,41 and value for t.s 0,05 value t = 1,72 and for t.s 0,01 value t = 2.51. Thus, there is a significant difference between students' ability in learning to write autobiographic text before and after using Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The difference seen in the final test results is higher than the initial test results. The use of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach also get positive response for students, this can be proved by the percentage of student answers for positive response is greater than negative response, that is 30% of students who choose strongly agree (SS)> 4% of students who choose strongly disagree (STS).Keywords: autobiographic text, contextual
