This article will describe learning to write auotobiografi text using Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The method used in the research, namely the experiment with the design of One-Group Pretest-Postest. Technique of collecting data in the form of test, observation, and questionnaire. The population in the study of students of class XI SMK Nurul Islam Cianjur, with a sample of 22 students. From the results of the study known the average value of the initial test 60.45 and the average value of the final test 80.91. The result of calculation with t-test known value that is 11,41 and value for t.s 0,05 value t = 1,72 and for t.s 0,01 value t = 2.51. Thus, there is a significant difference between students' ability in learning to write autobiographic text before and after using Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The difference seen in the final test results is higher than the initial test results. The use of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach also get positive response for students, this can be proved by the percentage of student answers for positive response is greater than negative response, that is 30% of students who choose strongly agree (SS)> 4% of students who choose strongly disagree (STS).Keywords: autobiographic text, contextual

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the dictogloss method in teaching listening to students' listening skills. This research was designed as a quasi-experimental. This study aims to investigate whether a material or treatment yields a different outcome for participants. There are two classes in this study, namely the experimental class (which is a sample to be treated with the dictogloss method) and the control class (using a method other than dictogloss). The results of this study are the results of data analysis showing that the results of learning skills in listening to the experimental group obtained the average value for the initial test of 60.33 and 71 for the final test score. While the control group using conventional methods has a mean value for the initial test of 60.1 and 70 for the final test. T test results also indicate that the significance value is 0,000. The significance value states smaller 0.05, it can be stated that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is an influence of the dictogloss method in improving listening skills in students

The purpose of this study is to answer the problems, first, how to use the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model and its relation to increase Activities and Learning Outcomes of Civic Education of student of Class XI of Tunarungu in SLB Negeri 2 Banjarmasin students. Through Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning, emphasizes the process of full student involvement to be able to find the material learned and relate it to real-life situations in this problem, namely the Mayor Election (PILKADA) of Banjarmasin in cycle I, and the Election of head of class in cycle II. The average value of the understanding of the vision and mission of the prospective leader in Cycle I was 3.67 while in Cycle II it was 3.83, which means there was an increase of 0.16. As for understanding the acquisition of votes, for Cycle I the average value is 3.50 while in Cycle II it is 4.00, this means that there is an increase of 0.50. The average value of the test results in cycle I was 71.67 while in the cycle II, the average test score was 73.33, there was an increase of 1.66. As for the percentage of completeness in the cycle I is 66.67%. However, in Cycle II the percentage 100%, it can be said to be classically complete, because it is more than 80%, and there is an increase of 33.33%.

The purpose of this study was to develop a learning module of fractional numbers using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. The stages of development adhered to the stages of development proposed by Plomp (2007). To assess the quality of the module, Neeven’s assessment of product quality (2007) was used. This assessment focused on three things: the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed module. The validity of the module was determined by validators. Once the module was confirmed valid by the validators, the try-outs were administered to see the practicality and effectiveness. The practicality of the module was assessed from students’ activity and students’ responses on learning using the module. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the module was assessed from the results of daily tests and final tests. The try-outs were conducted in class four times, and the percentage of students’ scores in each meeting was above 90%, which means that students did not experience difficulties and felt comfortable in shaping their learning experience, and students’ response was also positive. Meanwhile, the average daily test results of students for each meeting and the average final test results of all students were above 75. The results of these try-outs indicate that the developed module met the criteria of practicality and effectiveness.

Abstract: This study aims to find out how much influence the contextual teaching and learning approach can improve the writing skills of letters grade IV students SDN 04 Nanga Pinoh. The type of research is Classroom Action Research designed by using cycle model by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Where in the implementation of this PTK action consists of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation of action, observation and reflection, with the aim to compare the value before the action and after the action. Technique of data collecting is done by observation observation and result of student learning test. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of SDN 04 Nanga Pinoh, which amounted to 27 people. There was an increase of learning achievement by using Contextual Teaching & Learning approach of personal letter writing writing to fourth grade students of SDN 04 Nanga Pinoh. This is evident in the increase in the value of the initial test of 27 students by 64 with 63% of students experiencing completeness. In cycle I the average value obtained by 80 then in cycle II the average value obtained increased by 81 with 92% of students experiencing completeness in learning. Based on these data it can be seen that the contextual teaching and learning approach can improve the writing skill of grade 4 students of SDN 04 Nanga Pinoh. Keywords: Contextual Teaching & Learning Approach, Writing Skills

This research aimed to see whether there is a difference between learning outcomes using cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament ( TGT ) with the learning outcomes using direct learning. This research is an experimental research, the researchpopulation is a class X student of the installation of Electric Power Engineering SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya TA 2013/2014 . The sampling technique was done by using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling . The data collected from the test results in the form of learning objective questions about as many as 35 points . Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel to test homogeneity , normality , and hypothesis testing . From the results of research conducted tests on samples of both groups gained an average of learning outcomes for the experimental group the average value of the initial test was 49.1 and the average value of the final test is 81.8 with an increase of 32.7. For the control group the average value of the initial test was 52.2 and the average value of the final test is 72.2 with an increase of 20 . The results of the hypothesis by using Microsoft Excel found that tcount 5,960 > 1,671 ttable, so the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted or rejected the null hypothesis (H0). This means that the average significant learning outcomes experimental class higher than the average of the control class learning outcomes .
