This study aims to describe the values of character education in the film Kung Fu Panda and its relevance with Islamic education. This research is qualitative research using descriptive method. The data is taken from the character's dialogue in particular intercultural dialogue involving the main characters. That data is then described and analysed. This research focuses on the educational value of the character in the film.. This research found several values character education that is religious, honest, discipline, hard work, creative, democratic, curiosity, love of the motherland, social care, and responsibility. Values that are relevant to the purpose of the concept of Islamic religious education in shaping attitudes, terpuju (mahmudah morals).

This study aims to describe the character education in the novel Mendayung Impian and Chiang Mai. The novel Mendayung Impian contains the persistence of a character to achieve goals, while the Chiang Mai novel contains the search for the identity of a young man in facing life. The method used in this research is qualitative research. The validity of the data is in the form of theoretical triangulation. The results of this study are that there are three values of character education that stand out, namely hard work, social care, and being friendly.

ABSTRACT The data of this study consisted of words, sentences and discourses that featured events and figures that changed the values of character education included in Kaba Sabai Nan Aluih Karya M. Rasyid Manggis Dt. Rajo Penghulu. The technique of collecting this research data, namely reading and understanding, inventorying, and retrieving data relating to character education values in Sabai Nan Aluih's kaba and adoption when reading appreciation. The technique of analyzing the data of this study, namely data that has been collected and classified, is then analyzed based on theory. The method used is descriptive method, according to the purpose of the study. Based on the results of the study, the values of character education studied in kaba Sabai Nan Aluih by M. Rasyid Manggis Dt. Rajo Penghulu found. First, data that contains the value of honest character education. Second, the data that contains the value of the education of the character of hard work. Third, data that contains the value of Mandiri character education. Fourth, data that contains the value of Democratic character education. Fifth, the data containing the values of peace-loving character education. Sixth, the data that contains the value of social care education. ABSTRACT  The purpose of this study is to describe the velues of character education in Tere Liye’s novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin. The type of this study is qualitative research with descriptive method and using triangulation technique to validate the data. The research data is in the form of words, phrases, sentences, and discourses that show the actions of the characters, the words of the characters and the narrator, which indicate the values of character education found in Tere Liye's novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin. The data collection technique of this study is to read and understand Tere Liye's novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin then recording the data related to character education values in Tere Liye's novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin in the form of units of events from character’s behavior. The data analysis technique of this research is describing the values of character education in Tere Liye's novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin which is seen in a unit of character events, classifying, analyzing data, interpreting, and compiling reports.As the results of the research founded 72 values of character education, namely 5 values of religious character education, 17 values of hard work character education, 4 values of independent character education, 6 values of curiosity character education, 5 values of education value achievement, 9 values of friendly character education, 3 values of character education are fond of reading, 15 values of moral value character education, and 8 values of education responsibility. The most dominant valueof character education in Tere Liye's novel Daun yang Jatuh ismoral value character education as much as 15 data. Kata kunci: Nilai, Pendidikan Karakter, Novel Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin

The purpose of this study to determine the values of character education in the film of Upin and Ipin production Les' Copaque in 2010. This research uses descriptive method. The data in this research is the dialogue in the film of Upin and Ipin production in 2010 that contains the value of character education. Based on the analysis found values contained in the film of Upin and Ipin production Les' Copaque in 2010 is religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, curiosity, appreciate the achievements, friendly, social care / care about others, responsibility, brave, cooperation, mutual help, wisdom, respect for all life forms and environment that care of each other, respect for others / public politeness, and self-respect. There is value that  specially  treated is patriotism because it involves nationalism. Upin and Ipin Film production of Les Copaque in 2010 containing values of character education.

Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam sastra tutur dang-idang. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah pendidikan karakter apa sajakah yang terdapat dalam sastra tutur dang-idang. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sedangkan data yang dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Objek penelitian ini adalah tradisi lisan dang-idang yang dituturkan oleh masyarakat yang tinggal di Kayu Agung, Sumatera Selatan. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang berhasil diidentifikasi oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah religius, kerja keras, tanggung jawab, mandiri, komunikatif, peduli sosial, dan peduli lingkungan.Kata kunci: Pendidikan karakter, sastra tutur, dang-idang Abstract: This study aims to identifie and describe character education contained in the traditional literature of dang-idang. This study focusses of character what are contained in the traditional literature of dang-idang. As for the methods used in this research is descriptive method. While the data were analyzed using sociological approach to literature. The object of this study is the traditional literature of dang-idang by people who live in Kayu Agung, South Sumatra. The values of character education were identified by the authors in this study is a religious, hard work, responsibility, independent, communicative, social care, and care for the environment.Key words: Character education, the traditional literature, pendekatan ideologi sastra.

This study aims to obtain a description of the values ​​of character education in Erna Erdhiya's novel Hantu Belang Penunggu Makam Tak Bertuan. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this study consist of; reading carefully and repeatedly, identifying, recording / coding, checking or selecting, and entering data. Data analysis in this study includes interpretation, data analysis, and data conclusion in accordance with the research objectives. The results of this research are the character education values ​​contained in Erna Erdhiya's novel Hantu Belang Penunggu Makam Tak Bertuan are namely religious, honest, discipline, tolerant, creative, curiosity, hard work, love to read, friendly, and responsible.

The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of Islamic Religious Education Teachers' exemplary approach to developing students' emotional, spiritual quotients. This article employs a qualitative research methodology in conjunction with a case study approach. The approach taken is consistent with the formulation of the problem under investigation. Informants were chosen based on the research's objectives. Formal and informal interviews were conducted. The findings of this study demonstrate two aspects of the emotional approach in Islamic education: Methods of persuasion and education. Teachers develop spiritual, emotional intelligence by providing students with new knowledge that includes exemplary figures dating all the way back to the Prophet Muhammad's time and exemplary national figures, as well as by inviting students to practice family strategies for recognizing and managing their own emotions, the ability to motivate themselves, the ability to recognize the emotions of others, and how to build relationships with others.

In this paper, we will review the phenomena that are present in this nation: this phenomenon is none other than the existence of a movement that is able to hegemony the community for love for the homeland carried out by former HTI residents, the method used in the research is descriptive qualitative research about what happens in everyday life, either in social media and phenomena that exist in society. As for the form of Reidology with the character education approach, the character education in question combines the concept of Islamic education in Islamic schools and education in state defense whose output gives birth to the nation's children, especially former HTI residents to return to love the Republic of Indonesia. Why is this important to do, so that there are no longer Indonesian citizens who are in crisis of nationalism and play an active role in filling this independence from a development perspective in their own way.

Character education is a form of cultivation of noble character in students. The aspect of 'social care' character is one of the most important of the eighteen character education in Indonesia, this is because the sense of sensitivity and help towards others in the environment around students begins to diminish. There are various kinds of media to succeed in internalizing character education, one of which is a novel. The novel Merindu Baginda Nabi by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy can be said to be a complete novel in instilling character in Indonesia. Therefore, researchers will explore how the value of social care character education in the novel Merindu Baginda Nabi. The research method used is qualitative descriptive qualitative research. The novel Merindu Baginda Nabi as a source of data in this study, in the form of dialogue and narrative stories about character education about social care. Based on the results of the analysis, seventeen data were found that were divided into four important parts, namely: giving help to others, caring for others, mutual respect, and sympathy.

This study was aimed at determining the value of character education in folk games on the slopes of Mount Merapi. This study used qualitative method. The subjects of this study were students, teachers, principals, and heads of Cangkringan and Pakem sub-education technical implementation unit. The instruments used were in-depth observations and interviews. The result shows that there are seventeen folk games, namely dakon, serak lidi, lompat tali, enggrang, bekelan, kelereng, bentengan, dan bola bakar, oya dodok, oya tembok, jamuran, cublak-cublak suweng, petak umpet, engklak, dingklik oglak-aglik, gobak sodor, and elang ayam.The game is used by teachers on the slopes of Mount Merapi to instill thirteen characters from eighteen educational characters. These characters, namely honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendship, caring for the environment, social care, and responsibility. Folk games should be integrated in learning in elementary school to develop student characterNILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PERMAINAN RAKYAT DI LERENG GUNUNG MERAPIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi nilai pendidikan karakter dalam permainan rakyat di lereng gunung Merapi. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar (SD), guru, kepala sekolah, dan kepala Unit Pelaksana Teknis sub pelayanan pendidikan di kecamatan Cangkringan dan kecamatan Pakem. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi tujuh belas permainan rakyat, yaitu dakon, serak lidi, lompat tali, enggrang, bekelan, kelereng, bentengan, dan bola bakar, oya dodok, oya tembok, jamuran, cublak-cublak suweng, petak umpet, engklak, dingklik oglak-aglik, gobak sodor, dan elang ayam yang berpotensi sebagai sarana penanaman nilai karakter pada siswa SD. Permainan tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh para guru yang ada di lereng gunung Merapi untuk menanamkan tiga belas karakter dari delapan belas karakter pendidikan. Karakter tersebut, yaitu jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Permainan rakyat semestinya dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran di SD untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa.
