This study uses Research and Development (R&D) research methods, namely developing problem-based chemistry teaching materials on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. Aims to determine the feasibility standard of chemistry teaching materials in accordance with the eligibility criteria for content, language, presentation, and graphics and see student responses to the developed teaching materials. The stages that were passed in the research started from syllabus analysis with 13 revised curriculum, book analysis, design and development of teaching materials, validation of expert teaching materials, and student responses to teaching materials resulting from the development so that problem-based teaching materials were composed of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials that appropriate and in accordance with BSNP criteria.Based on the validation results of teaching materials using a modified BSNP questionnaire, in this questionnaire the aspects assessed include aspects of content feasibility, language feasibility aspects, presentation feasibility aspects, and graphic feasibility aspects. Based on the results of standardization of problem-based modules on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution materials by Unimed chemistry lecturers and Chemistry Teachers, overall the average content feasibility obtained a result of 3.48 with valid criteria and no need for revision, for language eligibility the results obtained 3.59 with criteria valid and does not need revision, for the feasibility of the presentation, the result is 3.73 with valid criteria and does not need revision, and for the feasibility of the graphic, the result is 3.60 with valid criteria and does not need revision. This means that the average result is 3.60. Problem-based Modules on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions are valid and do not need to be revised. After the teaching materials are valid, it is recommended to conduct an assessment of students with the aim of seeing the percentage of students' satisfaction level with problem-based teaching materials developed based on aspects of appearance, material aspects, and benefits aspects. The results obtained from 30 respondents, namely the display aspect of 92.67%, the material aspect of 90.5%, and the benefit aspect of 88.17%. So that the average percentage level of student satisfaction with problem-based teaching materials that have been developed is 90.44%. This proves that students like problem-based teaching materials so that teaching materials can be used in chemistry learning as well as reading references for students.

Abstract Development research has been carried out to produce teaching materials for basic chemistry learning materials based on STEM in a wetland context to improve scientific literacy that is valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is Research and Development (R & R&D) with a 4D development model modified into 3D (define, design, and develop). The trial of the developed teaching materials was carried out in a class in the first Basic Chemistry course consisting of 28 students. Data collection techniques used validation sheets, readability questionnaires, response questionnaires, observation sheets, and scientific literacy tests. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the developed teaching materials had met the following criteria: (1) Valid; judging from the value of the feasibility aspects of content, presentation, language, and media, each of which obtained very valid criteria. (2) Practical; reviewed from the results of the readability of teaching materials in individual and small group tests, the criteria are practical and very practical. Students’ responses to teaching materials have very practical criteria, and observations of the ability of teachers to use teaching materials and manage their respective classes get very good criteria. (3) Effective, seen from the results of the N-gain scientific literacy showing a high increase. With the results of this development, it can be said that the STEM-based teaching materials for basic chemistry learning to improve scientific literacy in the context of wetlands are suitable as teaching materials.

Variable calculus is a subject that requires students to have high mastery and competence. This is because the material presented requires students to think critically and creatively to solve problems. In fact the results of the previous semester's assessment analysis, the percentage of students who graduated with grades A or B was very low. The research method is research and development, with ADDIE development stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the needs analysis showed that students need teaching material for calculus variable which is assisted by a technology of mathematical applications, where students' opinions on the need for a mathematical application such as geogebra software in learning, there are 66.7% of students strongly agree, and there are 33.3% agree . The validation results show that the average of all aspects of the assessment of teaching materials obtained an average of 4.29 means that the teaching materials are valid. The results of the practicality questionnaire analysis of the 20 students who took the lecture obtained an overall average of 4.28, which means practical. The results of student responses to the teaching material questionnaire from the aspects of teaching materials and learning activities obtained an average percentage of total positive responses of students amounted to 81.67% meaning that teaching materials are effectively used by students in learning

This article is compiled based on the results of community service activities through the community partnership program of Padang State University in 2018 year. This activity aims to improve the competence of chemistry teachers in Padang City chemistry group through training based on guided discovery learning materials. The way to implement these activities can be done through training and workshops to 53 Padang chemistry group teachers. The instruments used were questionnaires for teacher and student responses. The product trial was carried out on 27 students of class X at Padang 1 Public High School in the 2018/2019 academic year. Data analysis was performed using percentage techniques and moment Cappa Cohen's. From the results of the questionnaire analysis of the chemistry teacher's response to the implementation and presentation of the material by the resource persons in succession, the average percentage percentage was 88% and 91% with the second category of aspects that being assessed very high. From the questionnaire analysis of teacher and student responses to learning using chemical modules based on guided discovery learning (GDL), the mean value of the kappa moment was 0.85 for the teacher's questionnaire responses with very high categories and 0.70 for the responses questionnaire of students with high categories. It was concluded that training in the preparation of teaching materials based on guided discovery learning could improve the competence of chemistry group teachers.
