The development of the labor market and its expansion are very important components for a prosperous socio-economic life of any state and its population. The article examines changes in the labor market under the influence of the rapid spread of coronavirus infection, reveals their consequences for the standard of living of people and further ways out of this situation. The issue of the need to adapt to the digital economy of most spheres of economic activity and employees in or- der to avoid a repeated situation and to increase profits by providing services and goods not only offline, through direct communication with the consumer, but also with the use of new digital technologies, including remote work, the online sphere ... COVID-19 has become a catalyst for the transition of all areas to the online environment during the pandemic, but many companies did not want to return to their usual way of life after the lifting of restrictive measures. A large number of firms continued to develop their range of online services and were able to transfer some of their employees to remote work. It is quite simple to justify what is happening, employers no longer need to pay rent for premises for work. For this rea- son, there have been changes in the structure of labor demand in the labor market. Living conditions have changed dra- matically, so the requirements for employees have changed, some had to retrain, while most had to master online servers in order not to lose their income. The development of the digital economy leads to the need for people to possess new com- petencies in this area, which leads to the development of human resources. Modern workers must be ready for continuous learning and mastering new technologies - this has become a key factor for a successful career in the digital world.

Abstract The digital revolution has paved the way to a digital world that stimulates economic growth, develops health outcomes, and raises millions out of poverty by means of new technologies and services. The COVID-19 outbreak hastened the implementation of digital solutions at an exceptional speed, producing unforeseen opportunities for alternative methods to social and economic life. On the other hand, the COVID-19 crisis threatens to repel hard-won achievements in gender equality, further revealing women’s vulnerabilities based on their already existing economic, social and political situations. Tackling the digital gender divide is essential to guaranteeing sustainability of women’s livelihood. Therefore, the aim of this study is to find out if the COVID-19 crisis is enforcing existing digital inequality keeping in mind that failure to address the gender digital divide will increase gender inequality. Keywords: Digital revolution, COVID-19, gender equality, digital gender divide, digital inequality

This chapter explores the employment performance and capacities of the Tunisian private sector. The analysis relies mainly on data from the annual enterprise surveys and on the TLMPS 2014 data. The size and the structure of the Tunisian labor market are analyzed, showing that the creation of more jobs requires the private sector to invest more, especially in new technologies. The private sector must increase its share in the economy and improve its competitiveness internationally. The intra- and inter-sectoral allocation of employment and variation of labor productivity are described, analyzing the capacity of the economy to improve the quality of labor demand and absorb highly educated young people. The link between firm size and labor demand is also analyzed, showing the need for a new industrial structure with a bigger share of larger and more dynamic enterprises.

The article describes the stages of formation and the main reasons for the transformation of the current art institutional system. Its characteristics, conventional to Europe at the end of the 18th century, became common to most countries by the second half of the 19th century. The role of global economic changes with the orientation on the society of consumption, on the growing importance of art market, commercialization of culture in general, emergence of new technologies and changes in attitudes to contemporary art in all its manifestations were observed. The reasons for shifting the emphasis and rethinking the role of artist, curator and spectator in the modern mode of existence of art institutions were analyzed. The conditions for updating existing and new forms of art representation, as well as expanding the concept of an artwork and the difference in understanding its value in historical and commercial terms that do not always coincide, were described.

Improving the education system provides the digital economy with competent personnel, contributes to a painless transformation of the labor market, forms a system of motivation for the development of the necessary competencies and the participation of personnel in the development of the digital economy of Russia. Such a significant influence that the education system has as an investment in human capital leads to the need to consider this element in the surrounding cultural environment as a key factor in both national and international business. Comparative data with foreign markets can help in understanding, for example, the level of accessibility of education and its impact on lifelong learning and the establishment of market relations.

The paper considers the impact of the increase in retirement age on labor supply and economic growth. Combining own estimates of labor participation and demographic projections by the Rosstat, the authors predict marked fall in the labor force (by 5.6 million persons over 2016-2030). Labor demand is also going down but to a lesser degree. If vigorous measures are not implemented, the labor force shortage will reach 6% of the labor force by the period end, thus restraining economic growth. Even rapid and ambitious increase in the retirement age (by 1 year each year to 65 years for both men and women) can only partially mitigate the adverse consequences of demographic trends.

As the number grows rapidly, requirements of this segment of age (65+) are increasing rapidly as well as the percentage of aged persons living alone is also increasing with the same rate due to the inevitable socio-economic changes. This situation demands the solution of many problems like loneliness, chronic conditions, social interaction, transportation, day-to-day life and many more for independent living person. A large part of aged population may not be able to interact directly with new technologies. This sought some serious development towards the use of intelligent systems i.e. smart devices which helps the people with their inability to use the available as well future solutions. Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) is the answer to these problems. In this paper, issues related to AAL systems are studied.
