Using Language Experience Approach (LEA) and Talk Massage Symbol Visible (TMSV) Method in Learning of Speech Skill of Indonesia Students

Abstract The study was described using language experience approach (LEA) and talk massage symbol visible (TMSV) method in learning speech skill. The results of this study used a descriptive quantitative approach. The research was set at Elementary School, Gowa Regency of Indonesia. The data of this study was speech skills include linguistic and non-linguistic factors. The technique used in data collection is, 1) observation, 2) pre-test. Data analysis includes stages: 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, and 4) verification and conclusion. The conclusion of the results of the data analyst was as follows: a) Data obtained from the observation of students categorized above the average value of 75 as many as 20 students or 87%, while those who obtain scores below the average of 75 are 3 students or 13%. The results of these data indicated that the ability of students in speaking skill of learning very satisfying, b) Data obtained from inferential statistical test results obtained t count =22.94 and t table =2.074 obtained data t count > t table or 22.94 >2.074. It concluded that Ho rejected and H 1 accepted. It means that the application of the TMSV method affect in learning of speech skill at Elementary School of Indonesia.

This study aimed to describe effecitivity of the learning outcome IPA using inquiry method. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Research procedures conducted through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach. Subjects were teachers and students of fourth class in elementary school 08 Padang City. Data was obtained from the results of observations and test results of learning. The research was conducted by two cycles and each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results of the research that has been conducted every cycle seen an increasein the average value of student learning outcomes are: (a) the cognitive aspects of 75 to 93, (b) the affective aspects of 74 to 95, and (c) psychomotor aspects from 76 to 94. It can be concluded that the CAR using the inquiry method can improve learning outcomes of science fourth grade students of fourth class in the state elementary school 08 Padang City.Key words: Learning competency; science learning; inquiry method

Sekolah alam adalah sekolah yang kegiatan pembelajarannya tidak hanya terpaku di dalam kelas, tetapi juga memanfaatkan alam sekitar atau lingkungan sebagai objek pembelajaran. Pembelajaran matematika pada sekolah alam dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk menumbuhkan jiwa siswa menjadi lebih kreatif dan mandiri. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah alam Ma’had Islam Pekalongan. Informan adalah kepala sekolah, guru matematika kelas IV dan V sekolah alam SD Ma’had Islam. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Analisis datanya meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah alam SD Ma’had Islam dilakukan di dalam kelas dan di luar kelas. Ketika di dalam kelas menggunkan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Saat di luar kelas (out door) lebih banyak menggunakan metode pemberian tugas dan game (bermain) serta memanfaatan bahan-bahan yang ada di Alam, guna memahamkan siswa sesuai dengan materi yang diajarkan oleh guru matematika.ABSTRACTA natural school is a school whose learning activities are not only fixed in the classroom, but also utilize the natural surroundings or the environment as objects of learning. Mathematics learning in natural schools is done as an effort to grow students' souls to be more creative and independent. The research carried out aims to describe how the implementation of mathematics learning in Pekalongan's Ma'had Islam School of Nature. The informants are the school principal, mathematics teacher grades IV and V of the natural school Ma'had Islam elementary school. The technique in collecting data uses observation and interviews. Data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of mathematics learning in the natural school of Ma'had Islam Elementary School was done in the classroom and outside the classroom. When in class use the lecture and question and answer method. When outside the classroom (out door) use more methods of giving assignments and games (playing) and utilizing materials available in Nature, in order to understand students according to the material taught by mathematics teachers.

This study aims to describe the education of environmental-care characters through the Mahira Garbage-Free Program at SD Alam Mahira Kota Bengkulu consisting of planning, implementing, and evaluating. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study were elementary school students of Alam Mahira Kota Bengkulu. Techniques Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is done by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Testing the validity of data using, persistence, triangulation technique, source triangulation and member check. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) Planning phase of Mahira Garbage free program includes preparation of work program of Mahira Bebas Sampah, scheduling activity schedule, and budget funding and activity fund source. (2) The implementation of the Mahira Garbage free program uses a strategy of habituation through conditioning, routine, programmed, spontaneous and exemplary. Implemented programs include socialization of the importance of maintaining cleanliness, daily and monthly cleanliness, provision of hygiene facilities, separating organic and inorganic waste, and utilizing waste into more useful items. (3) Evaluation of Mahira-Free Program for the students of Alam Mahira elementary school that is integrated in attitude assessment in each student progress report card. The conclusion is that the education of the environment-care character of the Mahira-Free Garbage program through the stages of planning, implementation, and Assessment.

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of upper class teachers to compile the Mulok Disaster syllabus in the Argopurno Cluster, Salaman District. The subjects of this study were 16 upper-class teachers, who served in 5 elementary schools. While the object of research is to improve the ability of upper class teachers to compile the Mulok Disaster syllabus. This school action research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 meetings. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis is carried out by document assessment, data presentation and conclusion drawing, with indicators of minimum success reaching an average value of 80. The results of the study indicate that the ability of teachers in the initial conditions has not been able to compile the Mulok Disaster syllabus, in cycle I was able to compile a syllabus with the highest value 83, the lowest is 64, and the average value is 74. In cycle II it has increased with the highest value of 88, the lowest 78, and an average value of 83. The application of training methods can improve the ability of classroom teachers to compile the Mulok Disaster syllabus in the Argopurno Cluster, Salaman District.

Abstract: This study aims to apply the think talk write learning model to improve Indonesianlearning outcomes in composing short stories in Class IX.1 SMP Negeri 10 Kota Bekasi. Thesubjects were students of class IX.1 SMP Negeri 10 Kota Bekasi total of 40 students. The method usedwas classroom action research. Methods of data collection using tests, observations, interview, anddocumentation. The results obtained by the test result data evaluation of learning that have increasedeach cycle, the test results obtained pre-cycle average value of 73,30 with mastery learning 47,50%,which has increased in the cycle I average value of 78,55 with mastery learning 72,50%, which hasincreased in the cycle II average value of 81,10 with mastery learning 92,50%. Based on the fact that teachers feel the low reading skills of students because they feel bored and lack of interest in learning. It is because the teacher does not use media that made students interesting and used the method of spelling and is not supported by supporting books such as pictorial storybooks that make students interested in reading. For this reason, the teacher used pictorial word cards to improve students reading skills. The form of research is classroom action research, collaborative in nature, the subjects in this study were students of second-grade SDN (State Elementary School) 36 Sungai Ambawang, and researchers who also acted as teachers. The procedure in this study follows the main stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research techniques are direct observation and measurement techniques, data collection tools used are observation sheets and tests. The results of the implementation of the act of learning to read using pictorial cards in each cycle always increases. In the first cycle, the success of students' reading skills achieved 55.55%, then in the second cycle increased to 100%. With an average value of 62.22 in the first cycle and the second cycle, the average value increased to 77.77. Based on the description above, it can generally be concluded that the use of pictorial word cards can improve the reading skills of grade 1 students of SDN 36 Sungai Ambawang. Thus the pictorial word card media can be used during the learning process of reading to improve students' reading skills.

This research is a classroom action research. The purpose of the study was to improve student writing skills of narrative text in elementary school V 110 grade Pekanbaru using animated movies. Data collection techniques are observations and writing tests. Data analysis is quantitative and qualitative. On the initial data the average value is 63.42, where there are no student’s who get grades in the highly skilled category, and 3 students get grades in the skilled category. In cycle I the average value increased to 75.79, where 1 student get grades in the highly skilled category and 27 students get grades in the skilled category and the percentage of research success was 73.68%. In cycle II The average value also increased to 82.23, where 6 students get grades in the highly skilled category and 31 students get grades in the skilled category with a percentage of research success was 97.37%. So it can be concluded that the use of animation movies as media can improve the writing narrative text skill students of grade V SDN 110 Pekanbaru.

Urban or rural communities can not be separated from snacks along with the limited time to process their own food. The advantages of snacks are easy to get, taste good. One of the type of biscuit is cookies  or pastries. To find out the acceptability of pastries with substitution of cassava skin flour and pumpkin flour as a snack for elementary school children. This type of research is experimental. Acceptability was assessed based on a hedonic test of 30 untrained panelists. Analysis of the acceptability  test data using the Kruskal Wallis H Test with the SPSS program. Then presented in the form of tables and narratives. The results of the study showed that the acceptability of food was cookies with substitution of cassava skin flour and pumpkin flour which was most preferred by the panelists, namely on F5. In the aspect of color and aroma of panelists like as much as 93%, the texture aspect of panelists likes as much as 97% while in the aspect of taste panelists like as much as 100%. This is because it is influenced by the substitution of cassava skin flour and pumpkin flour which is given differently. Statistical test results show that there is a difference in the acceptability of pastries in terms of aroma criteria with and in terms of taste criteria. So the conclusion of the acceptability of pastries with the substitution of cassava skin flour and pumpkin flour as a snack for elementary school students in terms of aspects of color, aroma, texture and taste, namely in Formula 5 or called a concentration of 25% cassava skin flour and pumpkin flour

The purpose of this study to describe comprehensively the increase in the Ability to Write Text Fabel with Portfolio Based Learning to Students of Class  VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pondok Kelapa Bengkulu Tengah. The method used is classroom action research. Sources of data obtained through eighth grade students worksheet F. Data collection techniques in this study is the testing techniques and nontes (observation, journals, and interviews). This research was conducted in three cycles. First cycle consisted of 2 meetings, the second cycle consists of two sessions, and the third cycle comprises one meetings. The test results of this study indicate that an increased ability to write text fable in students. The average value of the class in the first cycle of 63.6 (enough) with a passing rate of 27%, increased in the second cycle with an average of 70 (good) with a passing rate of 56.7%. Then increased again in the third cycle, which amounted to 76 (excellent) with a passing rate reached 86.7%.
