Tourism is the largest and fastest growing industry in the world. Tourism in one of the most important sector and has a significant influences in the economic development of the country. Tourism contribution is considered important for economic growth in Indonesia, because in addition to bring in foreign exchange, also felt able to open a new job for the community. Tourim in Bali has developed quite rapidly, tourism potentials in Bali has been developed well enough, so that it can be enjoyed by tourists, which became a leading tourist attraction in Bali that is nature tourism and cultural tourism. This research focuses on the planning and strategy of the packaging of heritage tourism products in Kerta Tourism Village in order to improve the local economy, considering that Kerta Tourism Village has so many heritage tourism potential that has not been developed yet. This research is expected to benefit local communities and Gianyar Government in adding data, as preliminary data, and consideration data for further in-depth research. This research has a scope that is limited to two variables, that is identifying the heritage tourism potential owned by Kerta Tourism Village and compile a strategy to package heritage tiourism in Kerta Tourism Village. The data sources used are primary data obtained from interviews with the informants, observations, and documentation in Kerta Tourim Village, and the secondary data is obtained from various books used as the theoretical basis to supporting the research. Based on the results obtained, in Kerta Tourism Village there are many tourism potentials that can be developed into a tourism attraction, one of which is heritage tourism that can be combined with cycling tourism activities and certainly useful for local people and tourists. Agro-tourism is an alternative tourism activity that relies on plantations and agriculture as its main attraction. Along with the development of tourism, agro-tourism has now become an economic driving commodity for the surrounding community, so that agro-tourism is increasingly taken into account in the world of tourism. The development of an agro-tourism can not be separated from the evolutionary process that occurs through various stages of the beginning of the tourist attraction built until now. This study aims to determine the evolution of developments in Satria Agrowisata. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting data collection techniques through online interview as primary data, and conducting online observations as secondary data. The results show that Satria Agrowisata can adapt well to the various changes that exist and continue to innovate in order to survive in the world of tourism until now. In Darwin's theory of evolution, he put forward two key words in his theory, natural selection and adaptation. Study on the potential of gelar river tourist attractions, Batuagung Village as nature tourism. The Gelar River area is a tourist attractions that located in Batuagung Village. Gelar River planned to be developed into local tourism based on natural tourism. Local tourism is tourism whose scope is limited tocertain places, namely the Jembrana district. This study aims to determine the natural resources that have the potential as natural tourism and the potential development solutions in the Gelar River so that it can be developed into sustainable nature tourism. The method used is the survey method. The data collected in the form of primary data and secondary data. The techniques applied to collect the data in current study are observation, interviews, and literature study. The interview was conducted with the management of the Gelar River Tourist Attraction and the Jembrana District Forestry and Plantation Service. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the geographical location, climate and weather, topography and landform, surface materials, water, vegetation, and fauna are natural resources that have the potential to develop the Gelar river Tourist Attraction.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the marketing strategy, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the natural tourism of Lake Dendam Tak Sudah, Bengkulu City in order to increase tourist visits. Based on the natural tourist attraction, this research was conducted in the tourist attraction of Danau Dendam Tak Sudah, Bengkulu City. The methods used in this research are interviews, documentation, and observation. Sources of data used are secondary data and primary data. The data collection technique in this study was accidental sampling with a qualitative descriptive analysis method. Then the data were analyzed using SWOT analysis to determine the factors inhibiting the lack of tourists visiting Dendan Tak Sudah Lake natural attractions in Bengkulu City. Based on the results of the study and discussion, it can be concluded that the area has enormous opportunities and strengths in the form of a very beautiful and exotic tourism potential, located in the middle of the city but with minimal facilities and infrastructure, public facilities. , promotion and management roles are not maximal in structuring so that tourists who come are still very minimal.Keywords                    : Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT)Correspondence to      : [email protected] ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi pemasaran, kekuatan , kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman terhadap wisata alam Danau Dendam Tak Sudah Kota Bengkulu dalam rangka meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah secara accidental sampling dengan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif, Kemudian data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat kurangnya wisatawan berkunjung ke wisata alam Danau Dendan Tak Sudah di Kota Bengkulu. Berdasarkan hasil kajian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa daerah tersebut memiliki peluang dan kekuatan yang sangat besar berupa potensi wisata yang sangat indah dan eksotis, terletak di tengah kota namun minim sarana dan prasarana, fasilitas umum, promosi dan pernanan manajemen kurang maksimal dalam penataan sehingga wisatawan yang datang masih sangat minim.Kata Kunci: Kekuatan, Kelemahan, Peluang, dan Ancaman (SWOT)

ABSTRAKPentingnya multilingulisme pada aktivitas pariwisata dipicu oleh adanya hambatan komunikasi dan budaya antara pengelola daya tarik wisata dengan wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi program-program yang telah dilakukan oleh pengelola daya tarik wisata di Kawasan Bandung Utara. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama empat bulan di tahun 2020 dan dilaksanakan di kawasan pariwisata di Bandung Utara yang difokuskan pada dua daya tarik ikonik yaitu Taman Wisata Alam Gunung Tangkubanparahu dan Tebing Keraton. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer didapatkan melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara dengan pengelola dua daya tarik wisata. Data sekunder didapatkan melalui penelitian terdahulu, kebijakan pemerintah setempat, dan media digital melalui situs web dan media sosial. Metode analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif melalui tahapan analisis sebelum di lapangan, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya tarik wisata Tebing Keraton dan TWA Tangkubanparahu memiliki komunikasi multi bahasa melalui media daring dan luring. Pesan yang disampaikan mengenai kondisi, posisi, dan peraturan bagi wisata selama di daya tarik wisata. Kata kunci:      Daya tarik wisata, Gunung Tangkubanparahu, Multilingualisme, Tebing Keraton ABSTRACTThe importance of multilingualism in tourism activities is due to communication and cultural barriers between managers of tourist attractions and tourists. This study aims to identify programs that have been carried out by managers of tourist attractions in the North Bandung area, Indonesia. This study had been for four months in 2020 and carried out in a tourism area in North Bandung which focused on two iconic attractions, namely the Tangkubanparahu Mountain Nature Tourism Park and the Tebing Keraton. This study used a qualitative approach featuring primary and secondary data. The primary data were obtained through observations and interviews with managers of two tourist attractions., while the secondary data were obtained through previous research, local government policies, and digital media through websites and social media. In the meantime, the method of analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis through the stages of analysis before coming to the field, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the tourist attractions of Tangkubanparahu Mountain Nature Tourism Park and Tebing Keraton have multi-language communications through online and offline media. <p><em>Solo city which is formed from a long history has a distinctive character that is on aspects of culture and history. History and culture can not be separated from the development of the city because the city is also formed from past activities that become historical value in the present. One area in the city of Solo which has a strong historical and cultural character is “Kampung Laweyan”. It makes “Kampung Laweyan” become one of the unique areas and has potential that can be developed, the potential and unique characteristics of Kampung Laweyan is as a tourist attraction that presents cultural attractions and traditions that are still thick, especially the culture and tradition of batik. But the development of science and technology, making the historical and cultural aspects of urban development is increasingly lagging behind. The existence of “Kampung Laweyan” which put forward the historical and cultural aspects in its development also increasingly degenerate, so that the vitality of this region is also declining. Therefore in 2004 the revitalization began to revitalize the area into a tourist destination. This revitalization also reviewed its suitability as the Heritage Tourism Area. This research aims to determine the level of suitability Aspects of revitalization Tourism Laweyan Heritage Area. The method used in this research is deductive through scoring technique analysis. The data used are primary data through field observation and interview and secondary data through document study. The result of the research shows that only the aspect of the activity actor has the corresponding value while the other two aspects of tourist attraction and physical facility have unsuitable value. So that the overall assessment of conformity Aspect Revitalization of Heritage Tourism Area also has unsuitable value.</em></p>

Tourism potential of a city can be developed through the city’s historical heritage. The history of Cirebon began around the 15th century, a small village in the Java Sea Coast named Muara Jati and its develop into the kingdom with a King named Walangsungsang (Cakrabumi). In the years 1529-1945, the Kingdom of Cirebon developed into four (4) Royal Palaces, namely: Karatons Kasepuhan, Royal Palaces Kanoman, Royal Palaces Kacirebonan and the Royal Palaces Kaprabonan. It’s cause Cirebon City has potential historical sights. Seeing the potential access of existing and historical value, Cirebon City tourism can be developed through the concept of urban heritage tourism. This study aims to discover the potential and strategies for developing the urban heritage tourism concept in Cirebon City. The research method used descriptive qualitative approach. Primary data obtained by field observations and documentation. Secondary data were obtained through, journals, books and the Internet data that is relevant. Then analysis of urban heritage tourism development strategy through a SWOT analysis. The findings are: access, historic building, cultural daily life, community and government is crucial in the development of urban heritage tourism Cirebon City.

Abstrak Pura Pakualaman dan Kampung Wisata Pakualaman menyimpan potensi besar sebagai destinasi wisata budaya berbasis budaya kerajaan, baik yang bersifat tangible maupun intangible. Komponen atraksi Pura Pakualaman ada yang berupa seni tradisi dan adat istiadat serta ada pula yang berujud benda/bangunan yang punya nilai sejarah tinggi punya keunikan tersendiri. Sedang Kampung Wisata Pakualaman kaya potensi wisata budaya, di antaranya berupa kesenian tradisional, kuliner khas Pakualaman dan tempat-tempat bersejarah. Namun Pura Pakualaman maupun Kampung Pakualaman belum dikembangan secara optimal sebagai destinasi wisata budaya. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk menggali potensi daya tarik wisata yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai produk wisata di Pura Pakualaman dan Kampung Wisata Pakualaman, hambatan dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam pengembangannya serta strategi pengembangan produk wisata budaya berbasis budaya kerajaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan sumber data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan besarnya potensi wisata budaya berbasis kerajaan Pura Pakualaman dan Kampung Wisata Pakualaman belum dimanfaatkan dan dikembangkan secara optimal karena terkendala beberapa hal. Konflik antarkerabat Pura Pakualaman dan masih lemahnya dari sisi tata kelola menjadi hambatan utama pengembangan destinasi wisata budaya ini. Sehingga berdasarkan analisis SWOT, peneliti mengusulkan rencana pengembangan jangka pendek, menengah dan panjang. Abstract Pura Pakualaman and The Pakualaman Tourism Village saves great potential as a royal culture-based tourist destination both tangible and intangible. Many attraction components of Pura Pakualaman are in the form of traditional arts and customs and the others are referring to objects/buildings that have high historical value. The Pakualaman Tourism Village is rich in cultural tourism, including traditional arts, typical Pakualaman culinary, and historical places. Recently, Pura Pakualaman and Pakualaman villages have not been optimally developed as cultural tourism destinations. This research is focused on exploring the potential of tourist attraction that can be developed as a tourism product in Pura Pakualaman and Pakualaman Tourism Village, obstacles and constraints faced in its development and development strategies for cultural tourism products based on royal culture. This research is descriptive qualitative research, using primary data sources and secondary data. The results of the research show that the magnitude of the kingdom-based cultural tourism potential of Pura Pakualaman and Pakualaman Tourism Village has not been optimally utilized and developed because of several constraints. The inter-friend conflict of the Pura Pakualaman and the weak governance aspect is the main obstacle to the development of this cultural tourism destination. So based on the SWOT analysis, researchers propose development plans for the short, medium and long term.

This research is a descriptive study, looking for the potential attractions of Grhatama Pustaka Yogyakarta as a recreation place based on the perspective of visitors. Primary data were collected by interview and observation methods. This primary data is then supplemented with secondary data obtained from a variety of relevant literature. The results of this study are the potential of the tourist attraction of Grhatama Pustaka Yogyakarta as a place of recreation based on the perspective of the visitors in uniqueness, which cannot be found anywhere else. The conclusion of this research is Grhatama Pustaka Yogyakarta is interesting to visit because it is unique so it has the potential to become a tourist attraction. However, at this time the function of Grhatama Pustaka Yogyakarta is still not yet optimal as a recreation place. Therefore, further studies are still needed on developing the tourism potential of Grhatama Pustaka Yogyakarta so that its function as a recreation place can be better.

Nepal has been a home to diversified settlement in terms of ethnicity, religion, dialect and culture since its outset in civilization. It also lies between two great military and economic giants of Asia – India and China – that are hostile to each other. While these bring abundant opportunities for Nepal, it possesses several internal and external security threats. Nepal suffers from cyber-attack, environmental degradation, pandemic, ethnic, racial or religious conflicts, inequality and poverty, extremism, human trafficking, corruption, migration and trans-boundary crime. In addition, Nepal also faces several security threats, traditional and non–traditional, including terrorism and insurgency. These threats possess serious implications on peace and security of Nepal and the South Asian region. There is a need of serious study about the major internal and external security challenges that Nepal faces in recent decades. This study aims at examining some of the major security challenges, explore the factors behind it, and attempt to suggest few policy recommendations to the government of Nepal to deal with them. The study is conducted by reviewing the primary and secondary sources of data. The primary data includes documents of the government agencies, press release, joint statement and organizational reports. It also includes the interviews with security experts, bureaucrats, policy makers and academicians. Similarly, secondary data includes books, news reports, academic journals, seminars report and reports of research institutes and think tanks. The study highlights that Nepal should prepare itself to meet with the emerging internal and external security challenges what have emerged in recent times. With the rise of India and China, two adversarial powers in the region, Nepal possess extreme challenges in days to come. Similarly, hardly any countries of the world had prepared itself to deal with recent pandemic like COVID-19 that has shattered even the most powerful countries of the world. Taking lessons from these, it is time for Nepal to learn and prepare to mitigate the challenges.

For the first time in history, almost all the domestic and international tourism destinations have restrictions for travel worldwide because of corona virus pandemic. Corona virus disease calls the COVID-19 pandemic is an ongoing problem in more than 210 countries in the world. The purpose of this study is to find the tourism impact of COVID-19 in Nepal and purpose recommendations for the preparation of evidence based policy and strategies for further development of the tourism industry in Nepal. Secondary data used in this study were obtained from the ministry of tourism in Nepal and other various web sources and primary data were collected from the online survey and collected 52 samples. They are involved in the hospitality, education & consulting, travel & tours, adventure & expedition, trekking agencies, and government officials from national tourism originations. The study highlights that the tourism contribution in Nepal’s GDP (Gross Domestic Product) as a significant sector that has a linkage with other sectors. Also, the Nepalese tourism industry is dependent on international factors and the Nepal tourism industry highly relies on foreign tourists and cancellation of the mountain climbing permits for the year 2020, affects the income of foreign currency as building the capacity of stakeholders and public-private partnership initiatives to promote and work together to develop and manage in future tourism fields. well as the local economy, the loss of thousands of jobs in the tourism sector and others sectors. Overall analyses suggest that building the capacity of stakeholders and public-private partnership initiatives to promote and work together to develop and manage in future tourism fields.
