Babakan Lake is an icon of the Betawi village which was inaugurated by the DKI Jakarta government as a cultural tourist attraction in Jakarta. Betawi arts and culture are increasingly lost by the progress of time. Therefore, the importance of this research is to look at how community participation around villages in promoting Betawi culture in the context of 4A (amenities, accessibility, attractions, institutions). Data collection techniques used in this study were unstructured interviews, observation and documentation. Determination of informants using purposive sampling, data analysis using qualitative. The implementation of tourism activities in Betawi village in the form of facilities, accessibility and institution has fulfilled the criteria as a tourist attraction. Like the Lake Babakan attraction as an icon of the Betawi village. Then also the facilities provided by the government to preserve and advance Betawi villages such as zones that are divided into areas and are motivated by different concepts of each zone. Furthermore, access to the tourist attraction of Lake Babakan has fulfilled the assessment and determination as a tourist area both from the road and the direction of the guide to the location of government and citizens institutions formed by local customary stakeholders. The result of the participation of citizens in tourism activities towards the existence of the Betawi village is that citizens have a role in advancing Betawi art. Suggestions for tourism stakeholders such as government, private sector and citizens in advancing, developing and also preserving the Betawi village is to maintain the existence of the village in the midst of the current development. Such as promoting the existence of a Betawi village to Jakarta residents (millennial, companies, foreign representatives in Jakarta). Jatiluwih tourist attraction have a big opportunity to be an ecotourism object. Ecotourism can mix both between natural and cultural conservation with local participation. So important to do a research on the potential of ecotourism in the village and to the principle of ecotourism. Data colectiom technique by observation, interviews and study literature. Technique the determination of informants by purposive sampling. Technique data analysis in this research by Miles and Huberman models. Jatiluwih Village have natural and cultural potential. Based on nine ecotourism principle and criteria, Jatiluwih Village have met six ecotourism principle and criteria. The idela ecotourism development can be done by fulfillment of three other ecotorousim principle and criteria.   Keywords: ecotourism, potential, principle

The problem in this study is poverty in the people of Sofan Village, South East Taliabu District, Taliabu Island Regency. The purpose of this study was to assess poverty in the community of Sofan Village, South East Taliabu District, Taliabu Island Regency. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Milles and Huberman technique. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling technique. The results show that in general the Sofan Village community is a poor community, and the factor that causes poverty in the Sofan Village community is the low education factor, this lack of employment can be seen in general from the work of the community is farmers and fishermen. Another thing that causes poverty is the lack of income and the habit of some people who were still sitting before working. Another factor that causes poverty in the people of Sofan Village is the attitude of being dependent on other parties, especially the Government. This attitude of being too dependent on others is what causes them to live in poverty.

ABSTRACTResearch about the Policy on the Use of Village Funds in Community Empowerment in Rantaupandan village, Rantaupandan district, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province, are aimed to find out how the implementation of village funds policy in community empowerment, inhibiting factors and efforts can be made so that the use of Village Funds in Rantaupandan village can reach aim. This Research uses the theory of Van Meter and Van Horn with qualitative descriptive methods and inductive approaches. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. In this study using triangulation techniques to test the validity of the data and perform data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This Research shows that the implementation of the Village Fund policy in community empowerment has not run optimally due to the problem of human resource competencies, the lack of community participation, and the lack of information delivery to the community regarding the implementation of the Village Fund policy.Keywords: policy, village fund, community empowerment

This study aims to examine the participation of local communities in the development of the Batur Geopark tourist area in Kintamani, Bangli Regency regarding the participation of local communities in the development of the Batur Geopark tourist area, the obstacles faced by local communities in the development of the Batur Geopark tourist area, and the efforts made by the Government in developing the tourist area Batur Geopark. In this study the data collected through interviews, observations, literature studies, documentation studies, and the Community then analyzed the data using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The presentation of data analysis in this study was carried out qualitatively through verbal delivery with interpretative descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that in the development of the Batur Geopark tourist area there are still several obstacles faced in its development. The government's efforts in developing the Batur Geopark tourist area are: the formation of a tourism awareness group, tightening permits for facility construction, establishing a management agency, procuring tourism facilities, improving the road infrastructure, structuring material excavation at the foot of Mount Batur, holding promotions, and providing tourism training. The forms of community participation in the development of the Batur Geopark tourist area are: preserving the biodiversity of flora and fauna, building tourism facilities, developing the typical Kintamani major culinary, cultural preservation, taking jobs in the tourism sector, nature conservation, and the formation of security officers. The government provides direct cash assistance for the community, which originates from the Village Fund or called BLT-Dana Desa. The criteria for BLT recipients were very clear in writing. From the data collected, the aspects and criteria for BLT recipients were determined. The Profile Matching method or profile matching is applied to the calculation of the assessment gap in decision makers. Weighting in the Profile Matching method is a definite value that is firm on certain values because the values are members of a crisp set. In a strict set, the membership of an element in the set is expressly stated whether the object is a member of the set or not by using the characteristic function. Identification of problems in community research wants transparency and equality of BLT recipients for residents who do not earn. Different criteria emerged from the opinions of villagers in determining BLT recipients. Implementation of data collection and distribution of BLT-Village Funds that are effective, efficient, and right on target. The determination of recipients of BLT funds was supported by an assessment of Aspects and Criteria. The application design uses the PHP programming language and Xampp database management by applying the profile matching method.

This research aims to determine the management of the village owned enterprises to increase community participation in the village if Riase District Pitu Riase District Sidenreng Rappang. The population in this study is 83 community figures in the village Bila Riase where the sampling used is Probability Sampling, with purposive sampling technique using formula Slovin with the number of samples 45 community leaders,  This research uses quantitative dexsriptif methods. Data collection techniques used through observation, questionnaire (Angket), interview, literature study. The data analysis techniques used are the DEKSRIPTIF statistics, the Data quality test, the classic assumption test using SPSS 16.0 and the Likert scale. The results of the study showed that the influence management of BUMDes with a value of 62.12% is categorized as "influential". The factors that affect the management of BUMDes are participation (67%) human resources (64%) with accumulated results of 65.5% or categorized as "influential". To improve the management of village owned enterprises to increase community participation in the village if Riase District Pitu Riase District Sidenreng Rappang with results 50.02% categorized less influential.

Coordination of development planning. In this case, in any development plans villages need for synergy or cooperation between the Institute for Community Empowerment with the head of the village, it is hoped development plan produced can suit the needs and capabilities of the village, which in turn leads to increasing the level of welfare of rural communities themselves.Type of research undertaken by researchers are included descriptive research with qualitative analysis method. In the present era should be an attraction of tourism can be reached and friendly to all people of both senior tourist and junior tourists. Kumbasari Park is one of the tourist attractions in the city that has been styled and constructed by the Government of Denpasar to become a new tourist attraction. However, the Kumbasari Park has not been fully accessible to all tourists. The purpose of this research is to identify, analyze eligibility and find the perception of travellers to facilities and infrastructure of the Kumbasari Park as a tourist attraction. This research includes exploratory research with data collection techniques i.e. observation, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are done in a qualitative and quantitative descriptive. From the results of the study can be concluded that, as a whole Taman kumbasari already worth visiting by all the tourists, there are some categories especially accessibility and amenities that are not yet fully friendly to tourists. The development and reordering of facilities and infrastructure should be done in Kumbasari Park to provide comfort and security to all travelers.

This study aims to determine community participation in the development of Ke'te Kesu tourism objects in Panta'nakan Lolo Village, Kesu District, North Toraja Regency and the factors that influence community participation in the development of Ke'te Kesu tourism objects in Panta'nakan Lolo Village, Kesu District. North Toraja Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data analysis technique used is the data analysis technique in the field with several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and then drawing conclusions. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The informants in this study were the managers of the Ke'te Kesu tourism object and the community around the Ke'te Kesu tourist attraction with a total of 7 people. Based on the results of research, the local community is very involved in the development of the Ke'te Kesu tourist attraction by giving contributions of energy and ideas, seen from actively maintaining the cleanliness and preservation of the Ke'te Kesu tourist attraction and providing evaluation to the manager. Ke'te Kesu tourism object has a big influence on the surrounding community.

The rapid development of today's technology encourages every component in the government create a new idea. The government of Denpasar has implemented smart city program by triggering tour package of Denpasar City tour. However, in the arrangement of the Badung River as a tourist attraction by the government of Denpasar is not yet optimaliced in developing its tourism. The potency has not been able to attract tourists to visit the Badung River as a new tourist attraction. Therefore, it needs an effort to develop a river tour package to preserve the local wisdom so that it remains sustainable. The purpose of this research is to plan a river tour through the development of local wisdom-based travel packages in Badung river. This research uses mix method. Data collection is done using interview techniques, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis used in this research is internal factor analysis using IFAS, external factor analysis using EFAS, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the growth strategy can be designed by maintaining the local culture and wisdom. It is further developed by planning a tour package of the River Tour which has been tailored to the needs and desires of tourists.
