Jaya Launch Pad is a company engaged in educational services. It is undeniable that service sector companies such as Jaya Launch Pad also have a workforce whose work posture may be less ergonomic, which can lead to musculoskeletal disorders. Musculoskeletal disorders can be experienced by people of all ages. Therefore, this study focuses on work posture. This research occurred because of complaints experienced by staff. The number of samples used in this study was 1 person. This was influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic situation so that there was only 1 staff when the observation was made. The research method used was the nordic body map (NBM) to determine which parts of the body are experiencing complaints, and the rapid office strain assessment (ROSA) to measure the risk of injury due to the posture of sitting at a computer for 8 hours. The result is that the complaint assessment using the NBM questionnaire has a score of 52 (needs improvement at a later date) with 4 categories of severe pain, namely back, waist, buttocks, and buttocks. Meanwhile, the score from the ROSA table is 6 which means it is risky / dangerous so that it needs improvement. Therefore, a proposed condition is given in the form of a replacement of work facilities in the form of a work chair with adjustable height and adjustable armrests. This improvement is assumed to be able to reduce the level of staff complaints, and the calculation result of the rapid office strain assessment (ROSA) is 4 which means no risk so that this improvement is accepted and can solve the work posture problem of staff at Jaya Launch Pad.

Musculoskeletal problems are problematic in Indonesia because manual work activities such as lifting, transporting, pulling and pushing are still being done. Pottery-making workers in the Kasongan are still doing those moves traditionally such as lifting, transporting, pulling and pushing manually. The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk of MSDs in the pottery making workers in Kasongan. This research was cross sectional design. The sample amounted to 78 workers selected using accidental sampling techniques. The instruments used Nordic Body Map questionnaire and Rapid Entire Body Assessment. Data analysis was using the chi fisher test. The results showed that the variables associated were age (sig= 0.000) and variables that had no relationship were gender (sig= 0.341) and work posture (sig= 0.352). The risk factor associated with complaints of MSDs is age, so to reduce the risk of the occurrence of MSDs, they can do physical activity or stretch muscles.

The roasting process of coffee beans in West Kalimantan, especially Pontianak city, is still done traditionally. The coffee roasting process is done manually by using a fire stove as a heater. Workers with standing posture stir the coffee beans continuously, and it can take 4 hours for 20 kilos of coffee beans. Standing work posture is required for stirring the coffee beans but can cause fatigue in workers due to long-standing times and high heating temperatures. This situation causes the roasting process to be less efficient and can cause the roasting process to be uneven. The purpose of this study was to identify musculoskeletal complaints of standing work posture in the manual coffee roasting process and provide an evaluation of corrective work posture when using the design results of an automatic digital roasting machine. The methods used in this study were the Nordic Body Map (NBM) and the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) to assess the level of risk of posture for musculoskeletal complaints. The results of the identification of body points that experience fatigue were carried out by distributing NBM questionnaires and evaluating the worker's posture using RULA on CATIA V5R20. Based on the existing NBM, the risk score is 78, and the final RULA score is 6, which means that immediate corrective action is needed because the work posture is categorized as dangerous and does not meet ergonomic principles. Improvement of working posture is made by designing a roasting machine that is digital and automatic. So the workers do not need to mix the coffee beans manually. Based on roasting machine implementation results, there was a significant change in the NBM score and the final RULA score. The NBM results obtained a score of 55 which means that the risk is moderate with the risk of fatigue in the neck, right leg and, left leg. Meanwhile, evaluation of work posture based on RULA on CATIA obtained a final score of 3, which means that the work posture is not dangerous and does not require immediate improvement.

The small and medium-sized enterprises (UKM) of Kerupuk Cipir are the home industries which produce kerupuk cipir. During the making process, there were still many phases which were done manually using a simple work facility. During the dough stirring phase, the workers used a bending work posture (unergonomic) which caused musculoskeletal complaints and various problems toward the workers. Therefore, a research was conducted by applying rapid entire body assesment (REBA) analysis to decrease musculoskeletal complaints and increase productivity. The research was conducted experimentally at UKM Kerupuk Cipir in Binangun Village, Karangpucung District, Cilacap Regency by using the treatment by subject design. There were two treatments given toward the sample: stirring the dough using the former work facility and stirring the dough using the improved work facility through ergonomic approach. The musculoskeletal complaints were measured using Nordic Body Map questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed a decrease on REBA score from 11 on level 4 which was in the category of high risk into score of 4 on level 2 which was in the category of quite high when the handle position is on the upper side, score of 5 when the handle position is on the front side, and score of 7 when the handle position is on the lower side. The workers’ complaints of severe pain on 9 body parts and pain on 6 body parts were decreased into mild pain on 7 body parts and no pain on 20 other body parts. Work productivity increased into 89.62%.
