Bali tourism is growing rapidly even though there was a decline due to bomb terror and Mount Agung's increased activity. This tourism development is followed by the rapid growth of the hospitality business to support the provision of accommodation services. Each hotel has particular employee who will make it easier for guests to make reservations. Reservations employee have a very complex task that must be considered in order to provide the best service. In general, organizational communication in the Pullman Bali Legian Beach (PBLB) Hotel Reservation (HR) Department has so far run well, but there are things that should be improved if the work appreciation or career level & communication climate needs to be improved related to the factors that influence work motivation. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data obtained by in-depth interviews with key informants from HR in PBLB. Based on the analysis results, it is known that the communication styles used are very diverse ranging from controlling, structured, two-way and very dynamic communication styles. The communication climate at the PBLB reservation office is also good. So far, the communication skills from the reservation team is considered good, and they also realize it is the main capital to carry out their profession as a reservation employee. Pariwisata Bali berkembang pesat meski sempat terjadi penurunan akibat teror bom dan aktifitas Gunung Agung yang meningkat. Perkembangan pariwisata ini diikuti dengan berkembang pesatnya bisnis perhotelan untuk membantu menunjang penyediaan jasa akomodasi. Setiap hotel memiliki karyawan reservasi yang mempermudah tamu untuk melakukan pemesanan. Karyawan bidang reservasi memiliki tugas yang sangat kompleks mengingat banyak hal yang harus diperhatikan guna memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik. Secara umum komunikasi organisasi dibidang Reservasi Hotel Pullman Bali Legian Beach (PBLB) sejauh ini berjalan baik namun ada hal-hal yang perlu ditingkatkan, seperti apresiasi kerja atau jenjang karir dan iklim komunikasi terkait faktor yang mempengaruhi motifasi kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap informan kunci dari SDM bidang Reservasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui gaya komunikasi yang di pakai sangatlah beragam mulai dari gaya komunikasi mengendalikan, terstruktur, dua arah dan sangat dinamis. Iklim komunikasi di kantor reservasi PBLB juga baik. Sejauh ini terlihat kemampuan berkomunikasi dari tim reservasi baik dan merekapun menyadari itu sebagai modal utama menjalani profesi mereka sebagai seorang karyawan bidang reservasi hotel.

The purpose of this study is to describe verbal and nonverbal communication styles as well as obstacles in the communication process carried out by SPG. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are passive participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants were determined using a purposive technique. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the communication style used by SPGs is more dominated by nonverbal communication such as showing friendly facial expressions, eye contact with consumers, ideal body posture, matching clothes and make-up, managing physical closeness with consumers, and using time as good as possible. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan gaya komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal serta hambatan-hambatan dalam proses komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh seorang SPG. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi partisipan pasif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Cara penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive. Dalam menganalisis data peneliti melalui beberapa tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh para SPG lebih didominasi oleh komunikasi nonverbal seperti menunjukkan ekspresi wajah yang ramah, kontak mata dengan konsumen, postur tubuh yang ideal, pakaian dan riasan yang senada, mengatur kedekatan fisik dengan konsumen, dan penggunaan waktu sebaik mungkin.

Un buen líder organizacional debe buscar modificar la habilidad y destreza de sus empleados para, de manera efectiva, solucionar los problemas concretos que surgen de situaciones de trabajo que poseen ciertos márgenes de incertidumbre y complejidad técnica, de allí lo fundamental de la motivación. Esta investigación tuvo como propósito interpretar la motivación laboral como estrategia para mejorar el desempeño del personaladministrativo de la Zona Educativa del estado Guárico (Venezuela). Metodológicamente se suscribe al paradigma postpositivista, con un enfoque cualitativo, con una perspectiva interpretativa, bajo el método hermenéutico. Los informantes clave fueron tres trabajadores de esa división. Como técnicas de recolección se emplearon la observación participativa y la entrevista en profundidad; las de interpretación fueron la categorización, la contrastación y la triangulación. Entre los hallazgos más relevantes están la poca motivación de los trabajadores para desarrollar acciones que impulsen el logro de los objetivos emanados desde el ente rector y el ambiente laboral es, generalmente, tenso y conflictivo, lo que genera inseguridad e incomodidad. Palabras clave: dialéctica; motivación; gerencia; competencias laborales administrativas; organización. Abstract A good organizational leader must seek to modify his employees’ skills and abilities, in order to solve, effectively, specific problems in work situations that have certain margins of uncertainty and technical complexity, hence the fundamental motivation. The research’s purpose was to interpret work motivation as a strategy to improve the staff’s performance of the Zona Educativa Guárico administrative personnel division.The methodology was subscribed to the post positivist paradigm, with a qualitative approach, framed in an interpretive perspective, under the hermeneutical method. The study scenario was the Zona Educativa de Guárico State personnel division, for the study execution three workers from that division were taken as key informants. Among the information collection techniques that were used are participatory observationand in-depth interviews. The study interpretation techniques were categorization, contrast and triangulation. Among the most relevant findings is that: in terms of work motivation, there are few incentives on the part of the institution, since they do not carry out any type of motivating actions in order to impulse them to achieve the objectives emanating from the governing principal. Every human activity was basically driven by the motivation. Work motivation was a condition or an energy that directed employees to achieve organizational goals of the company. Nowadays, the development of organizational communication saw the communication as one of the most dominant and important activity in the organization and it could be able to motivate employees. The purpose of this study was to reveal how the role of the communication that occurs within the organization could give the motivation to employee. The problem of the research was the relationship employee motivation with factors of communication, such as nonverbal communication, interpersonal communication leadership and communication climate. The method used descriptive qualitative method. Methods of data collection of this study were literature study. Research finds that nonverbal communication, interpersonal communication leadership and communication climate have a significant role to form employee motivation. Nonverbal communication has slightly strong role in shaping the positive motivation to employee. The role includes body communication, facial communication and eye communication. Interpersonal communication leader is based on the satisfaction level of information between management and employees. Management and transparency in openness in downward communication under the form of information from superiors are by listening the communication between supervisors and employees are running smoothly.

Da’wa communication skills are needed in preaching to the converts community because the conditions of converts are different from those of Muslims in general. The success of this da’wa can be achieved if converts as the target of preaching carry out the da’wa message conveyed by the preacher. The research objective was to map the preachers' da’wa communication skills to the converts in Karomba, Pinrang district. This study used a qualitative approach and case study methods, so the primary data were in-depth interviews and observations. In addition, this study uses inductive data analysis. The study results indicate that the preachers apply three da’wa communication skills to the converted Muslim community to support da’wa's success. First, the skills to produce messages, especially messages of faith and morals. Second, the skills to receive and convey messages, mainly using local languages. Third, the skills to interact with the converts community through sharia consultation activities. This research is necessary because the findings of this study can serve as a guide for preachers to increase preaching success, especially preaching to converts.

This journal discusses the climate of communication of local wisdom-based organizations in Puslatbang PKASN LAN-RI Jatinangor. Especially the application of the value of local wisdom in the organizational communication climate at the PKATN LAN-RI Jatinangor Puslatbang. The purpose of this research is to find out how Climate Communication of Local Wisdom-based Organizations in PKlatN LAN-RI Jatinangor, to find out the barriers that occur in the climate of communication of local wisdom-based organizations in PKlatN LAN-RI Jatinangor, and find out the efforts made to overcome obstacles in climate communication of local wisdom-based organizations at the PKATN LAN-RI Jatinangor Puslatbang. The study was conducted using the case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interview techniques and study documentation. The results of this study are that the climate of organizational communication based on local wisdom is not yet optimal in terms of the delivery of written information that is difficult for members to understand. And the lack of attention to ethics and valuesthat apply, especially in the achievement of ideas, ideas or information.

Public services at the district office coastal fringe. The quality of public services can be measured include the following elements: the turnaround time of service, details of fees or tariffs, procedures, facilities and infrastructure. In the implementation of public services in the district during the coastal fringe still constraints in implementing the four elements of the charter, because of the lack of openness to the public, although the sub-district officials had to undertake socialization activities that also involve the public. Although officially a maximum service is 15 minutes, the findings in the field expressed ketidaksusuaian with what has been set. The factors that affect the quality of services at the district office coastal fringe is: 1. Work Motivation bureaucracy and apparatus; 2. The ability of the apparatus; 3.pengawasan / social control; 4. The behavior of bureaucracy / apparatus; 5. Communication, disposition and bureaucratic structure and organizational communication climate and the flow of information; and 6. Restructuring the organization.

Penelitian ini menguji teori Marx yang mengatakan bahwa dalam proses kapitalisasi, petani lahan kecil akan tergusur oleh petani lahan besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Menggunakan teknik observasi partisipasi di lapangan, studi ini melakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap petani. Analisis data yang digunakan bersifat induktif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan, bahwa teori Marx tidak terjadi di malar Aman. Adapun penyebab menurunnya pertanian disebabkan menurunnya unsur hara tanah, mahalnya biaya produksi, alih fungsi lahan dan perubahan cuaca. Sedangkan strategi petani lahan kecil untuk mempertahankan kehidupan yaitu melakukan pola tanam tumpang sari, melakukan pekerjaan tambahan, dan mengatur keuangan.This study examines Marx's theory which says that in the process of capitalization, small land farmers will be displaced by large land farmers. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of Participatory Action Research (PAR). Using the techniques of participatory observation in the field, the study conducted in-depth interviews on farmers. Analysis of the data used is inductive. This study led to the conclusion that Marx's theory does not happen in Aman malar. The cause of the decline of agriculture due to declining soil nutrients, the high cost of production, land use and climate change. While the strategies of small land farmers to sustain life is to do the planting patterns of intercropping, do extra work, and manage finances.

Iklim komunikasi organisasi merupakan persepsi pegawai mengenai peristiwa yang terjadi di lingkungannya. Kantor Desa Cibalung, Kecamatan Cijeruk, Kabupaten Bogor merupakan salah satu kantor desa yang memiliki berbagai prestasi. Prestasi yang sudah diraih tentu saja tidak lepas dari peran kinerja aparatur pemerintahan desa dan masyarakat yang terlibat dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang produktif dan kepuasaan kerja yang dirasakan. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan iklim komunikasi organisasi dengan kepuasan kerja dan hubungan kepuasan kerja dengan kinerja aparatur pemerintahan desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode survei dengan kuesioner yang didukung oleh data kualitatif melalui teknik wawancara mendalam dan studi literatur dengan responden sebanyak 36 orang. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan nyata antara iklim komunikasi organisasi dengan kepuasan kerja dan hubungan sangat nyata antara kepuasan kerja dengan kinerja aparatur pemerintahan desa.Kata Kunci: iklim komunikasi, kepuasan kerja, kinerja, komunikasi organisasi=====ABSTRACTOrganizational communication climate was the employee's perception of events that occurred in their environment. The Cibalung Village Office, Cijeruk Subdistrict, Bogor District was one of the village offices that had various achievements. The achievements that have been achieved certainly could not be separated from the role of the performance of the village government apparatus and the community involved in creating a productive work environment and perceived job satisfaction. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the relationship of organizational communication climate with job satisfaction and the relationship of job satisfaction with the performance of village government officials. This study used a quantitative approach through a survey method with a questionnaire supported by qualitative data through in-depth interview techniques and literature studies with 36 respondents. The results obtained indicated that there was a real relationship between organizational communication with job satisfaction and the very obvious relationship between job satisfaction by the performance of the village government apparatus.Keywords: communication climate, job satisfaction, performance, organizational communication
