Saat ini fenomena demam idola kian menyemarak di Indonesia. Semakin tinggi tingkat pengidolaan seseorang, maka semakin tinggi juga tingkat keterlibatan dengan sosok yang di idolakan. Semakin individu mengidolakan atau terlibat dengan sosok yang di idolakan maka semakin besar pula keintiman (intimacy) yang diimajinasikan terhadap sosok idola tersebut. Ketika individu menjadikan selebriti fokus utama hidupnya, maka disfungsi akan terbentuk. Beberapa individu akan membentuk hubungan khayalan dengan selebriti idola mereka dan akhirnya mengarah ke obsesi virtual terhadap selebriti idola. Obsesi inilah yang akhirnya dikenal dengan istilah celebrity worship (McCutcheon,Maltby, & Houran, 2003). Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan celebrity worship dikaitkan dengan traits para penggemar yang patologis, negatif dan menyimpang, kinerja dan keterampilan belajar yang rendah, self-esteem yang rendah dan memiliki kesulitan dalam membentuk identitasnya, psyhological well-being yang rendah.  Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peranan cognitive flexibility, self-esteem, loneliness, terhadap celebrity worship pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis multiple regresi. Sampel penelitian ini remaja berjumlah 630 orang dengan usia 10-24 tahun yang memiliki tokoh selebriti idola. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling, yakni purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif. yaitu dengan cara menyebar kuesioner penelitian kepada partisipan yang memenuhi kriteria. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengadaptasi instrument pengumpulan data, yaitu celebrity attitude scale (CAS) 22 item, cognitive flexibility scale 12 item, Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale (RSES)10 item dan UCLA loneliness scale 20 item. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peranan dari cognitive flexibility, self-esteem, loneliness, usia dan jenis kelamin sebagai data  demografi terhadap celebrity worship pada remaja dengan nilai R2 sebesar 12,1%. Secara parsial, terdapat dua variabel yang berperan positif terhadap celebrity worship, yaitu variabel cognitive flexibility, dan variabel loneliness. The idol fever phenomenon is increasingly popular in Indonesia. The higher the level of one's idolization, the higher the level of involvement with the idol. The more individuals idolize or engage with idolized figures, the greater the intimacy imagined against the idol figure. When an individual makes a celebrity the main focus of his/her life, then dysfunction will form. Some individuals will form imaginary relationships with their idol celebrities which will eventually lead to virtual obsession with idol celebrities. This obsession is also known as celebrity worship (McCutcheon, Maltby, & Houran, 2003). Several studies show celebrity worship is associated with fans' pathological, negative, and distorted traits, low performance and learning skills, low self-esteem and difficulty in forming their identities, along with low psyhological well-being. This research was conducted to determine the role of cognitive flexibility, self-esteem, and loneliness, against celebrity worship in adolescents. This research uses quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis. The sample of this study were 630 teenagers aged 10-24 years who had idols. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. This research was conducted using quantitative methods by distributing research questionnaires to participants who meet the criteria. In this study, researchers adapted data collection instruments, which are 22 items celebrity attitude scale (CAS), 12 items cognitive flexibility scale, 10 items Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale (RSES) and UCLA loneliness scale of 20 items. The results of this study indicate the role of cognitive flexibility, self-esteem, loneliness, age and gender as demographic data on celebrity worship in adolescents with an R2 of 12.1%. Partially, there are two variables that have a positive role in celebrity worship, namely the cognitive flexibility variable, and the loneliness variable.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran celebrity worship dan psychological well being pada wanita dewasa awal penggemar Korean Pop di Kota Samarinda. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, serta penentuan responden melalui screening menggunakan celebrity attitude scale (CAS). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah empat orang. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa keempat subjek memenuhi unsur keterikatan emosi dalam tingkat celebrity worship intense personal feeling namun tidak menunjukkan pemikiran obsesif dan perilaku neurotik yang dapat menghambat keseharian masing-masing subjek. Perilaku celebrity worship dari keempat subjek sebagai penggemar Kpop memunculkan beberapa aspek psychological well being yang dapat tergambar secara optimal. Tergambarnya aspek-aspek psychological well being ini dipengaruhi dari faktor keterampilan sosial dan kepribadian ketika menjadi penggemar Kpop. This study was aimed to know how is the celebrity worship and psychological well-being of an early adulthood Korean Pop fangirl in Samarinda City. This study is a phenomenology qualitative study. The data collection methodology used were interview, observation, documentation and also used screening to choose  the respondents by using celebrity attitude scale (CAS). The sampling technique was used purposive sampling. The subjects in this study were four subjects. The results of the study that are obtained showed that the four of subject fulfilled emotional attachment elements of celebrity worship intense personal feeling level, but did not showed obsessive thinking and neurotic behavior that hampered each subjects daily life. The celebrity worship behavior of the four subjects as Kpop fans raised several aspects of psychological well being that can be described optimally. The description of psychological well being aspects is influenced by social skills and personality factors when the subjects becoming a Kpop fans.

Abstrak. Kesepian merupakan permasalahan psikologis yang berdampak negatif bagi perkembangan lansia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei yang bertujuan untuk menelaah peran dari kebersyukuran terhadap kesepian pada lansia yang telah menjanda dan menduda. Penelitian ini melibatkan 82 orang lansia yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan rentang usia 60-90 tahun. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Gratitude Questionnaire-Six Item Form (GQ-6) dan UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3). Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman’s Rho menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif yang signifikan antara kebersyukuran dan kesepian. Semakin tinggi tingkat kebersyukuran pada lansia maka semakin rendah kesepian yang dirasakan, begitu pula sebaliknya. Dengan demikian, hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima.Kata kunci: duda, janda, kebersyukuran, kesepian, lansiaAbstract. Loneliness is one of the psychological issues that impacted negatively on elderly development. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara psychological well being dengan loneliness pada lansia yang memilih hidup melajang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia laki-laki yang berusia di atas 50 tahun yang memilih untuk hidup melajang dan berada di wilayah Jawa Timur. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan purposive sampling technique, dengan kriteriasebagai berikut: lansia laki-laki berusia lebih dari 45 tahun (middle age) yang melajang dengan alasan hidup selibat dengan Tuhan. Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan the Ryff scale of psychological well-being dan UCLA loneliness scale. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment dari pearson. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang negatif signifikan antara psychological well being dengan loneliness pada lansia yang memilih melajang.

Abstrak: Peneitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji bagaimana peran ukuran perusahaan dan kepemilikan institusional mempengaruhi tax avoidance yang dimoderasi oleh variabel profitabilitas. Populasi sebagai objek riset ini menggunakan seluruh perusahaan yang listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Sampel yang digunakan sebagai objek penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode nonprobability sampling teknik purposive sampling yaitu perusahaan-perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang infrastructure, utilities, and transportation yang listing di BEI pada periode waktu 2014—2018. Kriteria yang ditetapkan peneliti adalah perusahaan yang tidak memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditetapkan, tidak digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap tax avoidance sementara kepemilikan institusional tidak berpengaruh terhadap tax avoidance. Profitabilitas terbukti dapat memperkuat pengaruh ukuran perusahaan dan kepemilikan institusional terhadap tax avoidance. Implikasi dari hasil riset ini dapat memberikan masukan dan pengetahuan bagi Perusahaan dalam mengambil keputusan dan menyelesaikan tindakan tax avoidance yang akan dan sudah dilakukan perusahaan dan bagi manajemen perusahaan dapat memikirkan strategi yang sesuai untuk mengalokasikan biaya di dalam perusahaan untuk meminimalkan tax avoidance. Abstract: This research has the aim of seeing how the role of Company Size and Institutional Ownership affects Tax Avoidance which is moderated by the Profitability variable. The population as the object of this research uses all companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample used as the research object was obtained using non-probability sampling method, purposive sampling technique, namely companies engaged in the infrastructure, utilities, and transportation sectors listed on the IDX in the 2014-2018 time period. The criteria set by the researcher are companies that do not meet the predetermined criteria, not used in this study. The results of this study indicate that company size has an effect on tax avoidance while institutional ownership has no effect on tax avoidance. Profitability is proven to strengthen the influence of company size and institutional ownership on tax avoidance. The implication of the results of this research can provide input and knowledge for the company in making decisions and resolving tax avoidance actions that the company will and have taken and for company management to think about appropriate strategies to allocate costs within the company to minimize tax avoidance.

Adolescents with fear of missing out  are afraid that others might be having rewarding experience that they are not aware of it so that they fail to control themselves from staying connected with others primarily through social networking sites (SNS). One of the factors causing this is self-esteem.The aim of this study is to examine the role of self-esteem on fear of missing out (FoMO) among adolescents who are using SNS. A total of 349 adolescents were recruited for this study using non-probability sampling technique. Data were collected using Fear of Missing Out Scale and Self-Liking/Self-Competence Scale-Revised. Simple linear regression was used analyzed the data. The study found that self-esteem can predict FoMO and contributes in affecting the changes in FoMO among participants of the study.Keywords: Fear of missing out, self-esteem, Social Networking sites Abstrak. Remaja yang mengalami Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) merasa takut akan tertinggal momen berharga yang dilakukan orang lain jika ia tidak terus mengikuti apa yang dilakukan mereka. Akibatnya remaja seperti ini tidak mampu menahan diri dari keinginan untuk terus terhubung dengan orang lain terutama melalui situs jejaring sosial atau Social Networking Sites (SNS). Hal tersebut dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai penyebab salah satunya harga diri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji peran harga diri terhadap FoMO pada remaja yang menggunakan situs jejaring sosial. Data diperoleh dari sampel sebanyak 349 remaja yang direkrut menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data adalah skala Fear of Missing Out dan Self-Liking/Self-Competence Scale-Revised. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa harga diri berperan signifikan terhadap kondisi FoMO pada subjek penelitian.

This research aims to analyze and examine the level of knowledge possessed by the merchants in the traditional market of Langsa on the concept of riba, the reasons (factors) the merchants transact with the conventional bank, and the attitude of merchants on fatwa given by the National Sharia Board of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI). The research population is an unknown population that consists of all market traders in Langsa City and the sample selected is 117 respondents. This research implements a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling as the method. The result shows that majority of the respondents has a profound understanding on the haram concept of interest (riba) and the role of DSN-MUI as the obligated council in setting the fatwa, which needs to be followed, yet the respondents do not mind interacting with the conventional banks in terms of getting business financing. They believe that riba (usury) is forbidden, yet they do not mind borrowing some amount of funds or saving their money in conventional banks, which implemented the interest-based system. More than 31 respondents (26,5%) perceive that interest is not the same as riba, and 50 respondents (42.7%) say that conventional bank is very helpful in promoting business. A more aggressive role is needed from the Sharia banks to reach all layers of society and educate as well as promote sharia-based banking products, especially financing products========================================================================================================Perilaku Pedagang terhadap Riba dan Fatwa tentang Bunga Bank Konvensional di Langsa Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguji tingkat pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh para pedagang di pasar tradisional Langsa terhadap konsep riba, alasan (faktor) mereka melakukan transaksi dengan bank konvensional, dan sikap para pedagang terhadap fatwa yang dikeluarkan oleh Dewan Syariah Nasional Majelis Ulama Indonesia (DSN-MUI). Sebanyak 117 responden telah dipilih sebagai sampel dari seluruh pedagang di Kota Langsa sebagai populasi yang tidak diketahui jumlahnya. Pengambilan sampel menerapkan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki pemahaman yang mendalam tentang konsep riba dan peran DSN-MUI sebagai dewan yang wajib menetapkan dan mengeluarkan fatwa dan perlu diikuti oleh masyarakat. Meskipun demikian responden tidak keberatan berinteraksi dengan bank konvensional dalam hal mendapatkan pembiayaan bisnis. Mereka percaya bahwa riba dilarang, namun mereka tidak keberatan meminjam sejumlah dana atau menyimpan uang mereka di bank konvensional, yang menerapkan sistem berbasis bunga. Lebih dari 31 responden (26,5%) merasa bahwa bunga tidak sama dengan riba, dan 50 responden (42,7%) mengatakan bahwa bank konvensional sangat membantu dalam mempromosikan bisnis. Peran yang lebih agresif diperlukan dari bank-bank Syariah untuk menjangkau semua lapisan masyarakat dan mengedukasi serta mempromosikan produk-produk perbankan berbasis syariah, terutama produk-produk pembiayaan.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of shopping experience on buying interest, and to know the role of satisfaction in mediating the effect of shopping experience and on the interest in buying back. The study was conducted at Zara Beachwalk with a sample of 95 people who are consumers of Zara's fashion products. The sampling technique used is non probability sampling with a purposive sampling method. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to consumers of Zara fashion products at Beachwalk. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that shopping experience and satisfaction variables had a positive and significant effect on interest in repurchasing. The results of this study also indicate that the satisfaction variable mediates the influence of shopping experience on partial repurchase interests. The advice that can be given to the management of Zara's fashion products at Beachwalk is that management must be able to create a good shopping experience for consumers so that the satisfaction felt when shopping will increase and consumer buying interest will be high. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of brand awareness in mediating the effect of celebrity endorser towards purchase intention on Adidas Yeezy shoe products. This research was conducted in the Province of Bali with a sample of 60 respondents using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. Data was analysed using path analysis and Sobel test. Study result showed that celebrity endorser have a positive and significant effect on brand awareness and purchase intention; brand awareness have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention; and brand awareness can significantly mediate the influence of celebrity endorser on purchase intention. The result of this study indicates that good brand awareness and celebrity endorser can influence the purchase intention of Adidas Yeezy shoe products. Every human who lives in the world has aspirations for prosperity in his life. This well-being is not only materially, but also psychological well-being. However, the increasing density of the physical environment will potentially lead to the perception of crowding and have an impact on the psychological well-being of individuals. This study aims to investigate the effect of distress on psychological well-being in the community in Kampung Biru Arema Malang. This study uses a quantitative correlational design with regression analysis to determine the effect of the crowding variable on the psychological well-being variable. Respondents selected as samples in this study were 38 people who were residents of Kampung Biru Arema. The samples were conducted research using non-probability sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collected by using two scales, the scale of distress and the psychological well-being scale. The results of this study indicate that adversity has a significant negative influence as a predictor of psychological well-being in communities in Kampung Biru Arema Malang (t hitung= -3,213; p<0.05; R Square = 0,223). This study concludes that individuals who perceive the density as crowding will decrease their psychological well-being.

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of fathers involvement in parenting towards the development of self esteem in adolescents. This research used quantitative method with purposive sampling technique. The participants were 149 adolescents who live with the their fathers. This study used self esteem scale by Rosenberg and father involvement scale which was developed by researcher based on the theory of Goncy and Van Dullman. The data analysis result using regression test shows that the contribution of the role of the father involvement on adolescent's self esteem is 38%, while the other 62% was caused by other factors. This finding indicate that the greater role of father in parenting, the higher self esteem. This study hopefully can increase father’s awareness and brings new pattern of family parenting about their roles that not only in economic but also for the psychological effect, especially self esteem.
