Geographically, Indonesia is an archipelago with a sea area larger than land, but unfortunately the potential of the coast has not been utilized properly. This is not an exception to Kampung Dadap, which is an area on the coast of the North Java coast that borders the Tangerang and DKI Jakarta Regencies. The majority of the people of Dadap Fishermen Village, who work as fishermen and roadside traders, do not have activity support facilities as a place for them to express their activities, so that their economic potential does not develop, making the fishermen's village appear to be a dead village due to lack of visitors. In responding to the problems that arise, this project aims to make the Fish Market a supporting facility for fishery activities that can attract visitors, which can improve the quality of life of the Dadap Fishermen Village community in dwelling, social and economic context. This project is aimed at all communities, especially around the Dadap Kosambi Fisherman Village area. With the modern market concept of "disprogramming method", it is hoped that the middle to lower and upper middle class people of the economy can join forces to form mutually beneficial activities. This project also provides supporting facilities that can invite newcomers to develop the economic potential of local residents and can improve the quality of life for fishing village communities. With this, the quality of life of the people of Kampung Nelayan Dadap, in the context of dwelling, social and economic life will improve. Key words: Disprogramming; Facility; Fishermen; Market; Village.

This article presents a behavioural analysis of tourists visiting a leisure area in the north of Spain to evaluate their reaction when faced with a series of tariffs and alternative transport modes to estimate potential income for reinvestment in sustainable mobility policies. The active involvement of the different groups affected by the changes has led to a series of policies able to generate income for financing a new urban transport service, park and ride installations and their associated vehicles. These changes resulted in a noteworthy improvement in the quality of life of the local residents and an improved, less intense tourist experience.

Long range planning is required in order to avoid impending environmental disasters in most northern communities. Present short range planning should consider more closely the basic needs of the inhabitants. These needs include piped water and sewer systems, more careful avoidance of sewage pollution of drinking water and the immediate environment, better cross cultural integration, greater emphasis on recreational facilities, awareness of the need for energy savings, less ice fogs, and relatively warm and sunny microclimates. The Scandinavians have been leaders in this field, and offer many examples of advanced planning of northern communities in Lapland, Iceland, and West Greenland. We should study their approach towards the solution of our common problems. Through dialogue with them a clearer understanding and possibly better solutions to existing problems will be found.A basic necessity in making the studies is a better understanding of the nature of the North and of the people. We must learn to work with both nature and the people. Now is the time for long range planning by considering climatic, environmental and cultural factors, and integrating them into a more harmonious system with the aim of a higher quality of life.

An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is compulsory in all types of new development. EIA is important to ensure that biological diversity is maintained and that development will not have any affect on the people and other species in that area. The aim of this study is to investigate the environmental impact on human wellbeing in the vicinity of quarrying. It will increase the awareness of the local population of the important factors that might affect the quality of their lives. A set of questionnaires was distributed to the community at Bandar Saujana Putra and Taman Kajang Perdana, in Selangor. A total of 60 residents were involved in the study. The results reveal that the community was concerned about health conditions and safety. However, there is still a lack of strategies to mitigate the problem. This study provides suggestions for mitigation that could be considered by the residents to reduce the effect of poor air quality caused by incorrect control and monitoring of activities in the area. It is anticipated that this study could assist both residents and authorities in improving the quality of the air as well as the residents’ quality of life.
