Indonesia is a country that continuous to improve and develop its education system. The development of learners abilities that are needed nowadays not only develop cognitive ability alone will be much more than that, it needs an attitude awareness in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of the problem-based learning model with mind mapping technique. Biological material used in this study is the subject of the virus. The first research result is learning the model of learning for student cognitive learning result. Based on the results of ANAKOVA analysis shows the significance level less than 0.05, then this shows the significant effect of the difference between the learning class and control class on the learning achievement of cognitive aspects. The second research result is to test the difference of learning the result of the affective domain between problem-based learning model with mind mapping technique and conventional learning model. The result of learning effective sphere which is assessed based on direct observation covering 5 indicators namely; Discipline, daring opinion, responsibility, cooperation and tolerance, Based on the analysis One sample t-test 2 indicator shows the level of significance less than 0.05, then this shows there are significant differences 2 indicators of effective learning achievement. 2 indicators are daring opinion and cooperation.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of VAK learning model on the learning achievement of PAI in class V Tlogomulyo Waterford Elementary School. This study was a quasi-experimental study (quasi-experimental). Subjects in this study consisted of 26 students of class V. The data was collected using VAK learning guidelines, test learning Islamic education, observation, documentation, and interviews. The validity of the instrument showing of 10 items proved to be valid all, are the results of the analysis show the reliability coefficient of 0.710 and otherwise reliable. Analysis of the data used in the form of comparative analysis using t-test. The results showed that there are significant implementation VAK learning model significantly to the learning outcomes of Islamic education. It can be seen from the difference in learning achievement Islam shortly before and after the given method VAK, the t value of 0.828 and significance level (p) of 0.05. In addition, an increase in the average acquisition value before application of VAK learning model (pre-test = 71.9) and after application of VAK learning model (post-test = 87.3). This shows an increase in the average value of 15.4. By looking at the difference in the score of the pre test and post test, shows that the VAK learning model is a model of effective learning for learning PAI.

This study is aimed at seeing improvement of studnets cognitive learning achievement and teacher activities in food biotechnology subject.  The study used Classroom Action Research with two cycles and assigned 30 students of the IX grade of MTs Sunan Ampel, Siman Kepung in 2014/2015. Data were colledted using test and observation.  The study found that  teaching model using problem-based learning improves teachers’ classroom activities. Cycle I found students activity 62.5% (fair) increasing to 69.7% (good) in cycle II. Learning mastery increased from 52% in cycle I into 85% in cycle II.  Students supplied positive responses on the implementation of problem-based learning model in teaching food biotechnology.

This study aims to determine how the effect of the Quantum Learning model using Mind Mapping techniques to students' creative thinking abilities. The type of research used is experiment and quantitative approach with research design using posttest only group design. Data analysis of two groups used the t-test on SPSS 21, that is Independent Sample t-Test to test the difference in average posttest value of two samples.The results of this study are (1) results of the t-test  from post-test data obtain a significance 0,000 where it is lower than 0.05 so can be said that the average of the two groups are different, (2) from the post-test results, the answers given by students from the experimental group more fulfilled the indicators of creative thinking than students from the control group.

This study aims at evaluating: (1) the difference of students’ mathematics learning achievement viewed from two different learning methods, (2) the difference of students’ mathematics learning achievement viewed from different learning styles, (3) the effect of interaction between teaching methods and learning styles on students’ mathematics learning achievement. This study is a quantitative research with quasiexperimental research design. The population of this study is 210 students of 10thgrade of SMA MTA Surakarta. Two classes were chosen for the sample of this study by cluster random sampling. The first class was treated using Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) method and the second class was treated using Mind Mapping method. The data collection was conducted using test, questionnaire, and documentation. Morever, the data was analized using different number of cell analysis of variance with 5% significance level. The conclusion are: (1) there is difference on student’s mathematics learning achievement viewed from two different learning methods, Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) a give better achievement than Mind Mapping, (2) there is no difference on students’ learning achievement viewed from different learning styles, (3) there is no effect of interaction between teaching methods and learning styles on students’ mathematics learning achievement.

AbstractThis research was instigated by the low of  student chemistry learning achievement at the eleventh grade of MIPA of State Senior High School 3 Dumai. Therefore, it was conducted an Experimental research with pretest and posttest design. This research aimed at knowing the effect of implementing Problem Based Learning model with Chemimagz media toward student learning achievement on Hydrocarbon lesson. The subjects of this research were the eleventh-grade students of MIPA in the Academic Year of 2017/2018. The samples of this research were the eleventh-grade students of MIPA 1 as the Experimental group and the students of MIPA 2 as the Control group. The data in this research were collected by using observation, preliminary data test that was homogeneity test, final data tests that were pretest and posttest, and documentation. Kp formula was used to know the effect of implementing the model toward learning achievement. The difference effect was analyzed by using Paired Sample t-test. Based on the data analysis of preliminary and final data, it was obtained that tobserved was 2,267 and ttable was 2,002 at 5% significant level. tobserved was higher than ttable, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It meant that there was an effect of impelenting Prblem Based Learning model with Chemimagz media toward student learning achievement on Hydrocarbon lesson at the eleventh grade of MIPA of State Senior High School 3 Dumai, and the effect was 8,27%.Keywords: Learning Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Chemimagz, Hydrocarbon

This study aims to find out the difference between the model of problem-based learning and the mathematical-logical intelligence towards mathematics learning achievement. This study is a true experimental with specific design of post-test only control group design. The population of this study are all fourth grade students of primary schools in Bajawa sub district. Meanwhile, the sample in this study is determined through random sampling. The result of analysis, it is gained that the  learning achievement which used  problem based learning  model is higher than the mathematics learning achievement of the students with the conventional learning technique. The calculation from two ways ANAVA results in Fobs 1.793 with sig = 0.184, there is no significant effect of learning interaction model and mathematic-logical intelligence. Since there is no interaction, it also means that there is no significant effect of problem based learning collaborated with mathematic-logical intelligence to the students’ learning achievement.

This study was conducted to find out the effect of discovery learning on student’s metacognitive awareness and cognitive learning achievement. The population of this research was all of the 11th grade MS (Mathematics and Science Program) students of Sumberejo 1 Senior High School. The research sample were students of 11th MS-1 and MS-3 class taken by cluster random sampling technique. This study was quasi-experimental with Pretest Post-test Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. In this study, student’s metacognitive awareness was measured by using MAI (Metacognitive Awareness Inventory) and SEMLI-S (Self-Efficacy and Metacognition Learning Inventory—Science). Meanwhile, student’s cognitive learning achievement was measured by using cognitive test. The data were analyzed statistically by independent sample t-test respectively at 5% significance level. The results showed that the discovery learning model significantly influenced student’s metacognitive awareness and cognitive learning achievement with significant value of each were 0,000. Through this research, we found that the discovery learning model significantly influenced student’s metacognitive awareness and cognitive learning achievement rather than discussion method.

This study aimed to determined the influence of problem based learning model with mind mapping techniques toward the biology learning outcomes. This study was a pre- experimental reasearch with one group pretest - posttest design. The sample of study consisted of one class is a class XI IPA9 SMAN 1 Sungguminasa as 50 students. Sample was take with a random sampling technique. The research instrument is learning outcome test in biological material (excretory system) with multiple choice shaped. Data were analyzed by employing inferential test (paired samples). The result of inferential analysis indicated that tcount 46.682>ttable 1.68, H0 was rejected, meaning that there was influence of problem based learning model by employing mind mapping technique toward students’ learning result.

The purpose of this research was to find out the effectiveness of the implementation of problem based learning model with multiple representations to reduce the percentage of students’ difficulty in XIth Science SMAN 1 Pontianak. The research design was one group pretest-posttest design, and the instrument used was an essay test. Test reliskill (0, 5) was classified as medium, and test validity (3,56) was classified as a medium. The effect size of this research (2,18) was classified high, but the reduction percentage of the student’s difficulty (41,33%) was classified as a medium. The percentage increase in the students’ skill in multiple representations (52,38%) was classified as a medium. The research doesn’t find a significant correlation between the posttest result of students’ difficulty and the posttest result of studentS’ skill in multiple representations (C = 0,935, p = 0.348). The research result was expected to the development of the implementation problem based learning model with multiple representations approach.Keywords: Implementation, Multiple representations, Problem Based Learning

The objective of this research was improving learning motivation and learning achievement of XI Accounting 1 Students of SMK Negeri 1 Pengasih Academic Year 2016/2017 using Cooperative Learning Model Team Game Tournament (TGT) on the subject Accounting for Trading Company. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) collaborating with teacher in two cycle. Data collection technique used were questionnare, documentation, and test. Based on research result concluded that implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Team Games Tournament (TGT) could improve Learning Motivation and Learning Achievement of XI Accounting 1 student of SMK 1 Pengasih Academic Year 2016/2017  evidenced by improvement of motivation score and achievement score. Motivation questionnare result shown improvement of students’ learning motivation improved to 5.97% from cycle I of 72.41% increased to 78.13% in cycle II. Improvement of Accounting Learning Achievement calculated from the average score increase of 23.78% in first cycle and increased of 19.61% in the second cycle.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Team Game Tournament, Learning Motivation, Learning Achievement
