Iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women can have a negative impact on the baby, such as placental development, low birth weight, prematurity, baby health, hypoxia, decreased immune status, possibility of having physiological disorders and infant growth. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of ferritin levels of pregnant women who had Fe deficiency anemia with ferritin levels and Apgarof the neonates. This was a cross sectional study in the population of pregnant women who had Fe deficiency anemia and neonates who met the inclusion criteria taken by consecutive sampling technique in the working area of Lubuk Buaya Health Center, Ambacang Health Center and Ikur Koto Health Center. Examination of ferritin levels was carried out in the Biomedical Laboratory of  Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University using ELISA method. Data were analyzed by Pearson Test and Mann-Whitney Test.  The results of this study showed there was no significant relationship between maternal ferritin levels on neonatal ferritin r = 0.248, p = 0.204. It also showed that there was no relationship between maternal ferritin levels on APGAR p value = 0.199 and there was a significant relationship between neonatal ferritin levels on APGAR p value = 0.002. The conclusion of this study is that there was a positive relationship between maternal ferritin levels with neonatal ferritin levels, there was no significant relationship between maternal ferritin levels and APGAR score, there is a significant relationship betweenneonatal ferritin levels with APGAR score. By improving nutrition, socioeconomic, qualitative antenatal care, early referral of risky cases and iron supplementation can reduce the incidence of anemia.

Public awareness about pregnant women health’s still a determining factor for MMR and IMR. Although there are still many factors that must be considered to deal with this problem, one of the causes of death is the ignorance of pregnant women and their families in recognizing danger signs of pregnancy, to solve this the government is trying to improve awareness and knowledge of pregnant women and their families with maternal and child health books (KIA). This study aims to to determine whether there is a relationship between parity and knowledge about the benefits of the KIA Handbook for pregnant women at Gamping 1 health center. This research is a quantitative study. The data collection method based on the time approach used is the cross section method. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely taking samples according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of 45 respondents with the Chi Square relationship test with a significance level of 95%. Chi Squere test results show that the p-value is 0.020. Therefore, the p-value α (0.05) means that there is a relationship between parity and the knowledge of pregnant women on the KIA Handbook at the Gamping 1 Health Center in Yogyakarta. Pregnant women are expected to continue to use and read the KIA Handbook during pregnancy in order to increase mother's knowledge.

Knowledge of nutritional intake of pregnant women is the result of knowing about the amount of nutrition that enters through daily food consumption by pregnant women. Chronic lack of energy is an occurrence where pregnant women experience a shortage of nutrients that lasts for a long time or is caused by an imbalance in nutritional intake, so that the nutrients needed by the body are not fulfilled. This study aims to determine the relationship of nutritional intake knowledge with chronic energy deficiency events in pregnant women at Kalijaga Health Center. This research method uses analytical survey, with a cross-sectional research design. The population is children of pregnant women the total sample is 24 pregnant women. The sampling technique used total sampling. The instruments used were questionnaire sheets, Upper arm circumference and observation sheets. Data analysis used Spearman rank with significance value α = 0.05. The results of univariate analysis, knowledge of good nutritional intake (70.8%), those who have sufficient knowledge (12.5%), and those who have less knowledge (16.7%), while pregnant women who experience chronic energy deficiency amounted to (16.7%) and pregnant women who do not experience chronic energy deficiency (83.3%). Bivariate analysis with the Spearman rank test shows the p-value <ᾳ (p-value = 0,000: ᾳ = 0.05) r0.808, so that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a very strong and positive relationship between knowledge of nutrient intake with less energy events chronic in pregnant women at UPT.
