In 2012, Indonesia developed a National Logistic System (SISLOGAS) framework perceived in Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) No. 26 of 2012, in accordance with the Master Plan of Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia’s Economic Development (MP3EI). One of the plans consisted in SISLOGAS was the improvement of inter-island transportation networks through Short Sea Shipping (SSS) by providing appropriate vessel which had been applied on Kontainer Masuk Desa program and was previously tested in the Talaud Island as the outermost area of Indonesia. Aside from being located in the outermost Indonesia’s territory, Talaud Island is one of the marine tourism destinations in North Sulawesi, hence this island needs an inter-island crossing vessel when high demand comes (holiday season). However, due to geographical conditions of Talaud Island which only has an average maximum depth of 6m and the underwater volcano Kawio Barat-Mahangetang which emerges from 5.4-8 m above sea level, could be a problematic for larger ships to sail thus small ships for transportation are required. Seeing the needs equally the existing potential, the making of a Multipurpose Container - Passenger Vessel (MCPV) with Detachable Superstructure could be a solution. Alongside specification of length: 20,85 m, breadth: 7 m, draft: 1,4 m, height 2 m and displacement: 181,32 tons, MCPV could carry containers reaching a weight of 77,28 tons and sail in shallow water by using an engine made by YANMAR which could produce 10 knots speed, besides, MCPV is also equipped with detachable container that could be replaced as reauested both for transportation of goods and people. By the existence of MCPV, it is expected to be able to improve inter-island transportation networks.

A very good understanding and knowledge about the tourists’ perceptions are of critical importance for the management and marketing of tourism destinations and sites of all types. The aim of this study was to investigate the perceived authenticity and its relationship with perceived value and loyalty of tourists in the context of marine tourism. First, the study proposed a research model based on the conceptual foundations of authenticity, perceived value and loyalty. The suggested model was then tested by means of a quantitative survey conducted in Zhoushan, one of the most popular Chinese marine tourism destinations. The study’s findings revealed that the object-based authenticity and interpersonal authenticity significantly affected perceived value and loyalty of tourists, and the perceived value partly mediated the relationship between authenticity and loyalty. The article is completed by discussing the theoretical and managerial implications.

This journal is essential for social, economic, and government in the Meat Village. It is about a potentially marine tourism destination, located in Meat Village, Tampahan District, Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. As one of the tourism destinations, this village needs to be developed, especially water transportation, which is supported by Lake Toba's natural resources. But it has been replaced by land and air transportation. On the other hand, water transportation has its privilege, namely giving a sense of being united with nature and listening to the gentle sound of water, which cannot be felt if using land or air transportation. Therefore, it requires a passenger port to facilitate tourists in accessing this tourism village through water transportation. This port consists of a passenger terminal that accommodates passengers' departure and arrival. The method used in site selection is done through discussion of primary data, namely data sources that directly provide data to data collectors and secondary data, that is, data that does not directly provide data to researchers, through other people or analyzed documents and concluded. The result of the methodology used is, this passenger terminal needs the Neo Vernacular Architecture approach for the design. Because the village has aspects of the past, such as Batak Toba culture and mythology that need to be preserved and introduced to the present as long-term projections for the future. This is useful to make the building becomes part of the Meat Village community.
