Abstract: This study is to analyze the subsconcious communicative competence using argumentative reading for post-beginner student in reading class. The theory used in this study is the communicative competence theory developed by Savignon and linguistic competence developed by Canale and Swain. The method used is classroom action research. The finding of this study is improving the subsconcious communicative competence using argumentative reading. Errors in auxiliary verbs have been the common problems faced by Indonesian learners to write in English. The aims of this study are to see   (1)  kinds of errors are identified in the modal auxiliaries the students perform, and (2) how errors are used to improve grammatical sentences in the paragraph.  This study used classroom action research with two cycles.  This study was done involving 32 students of class VII-A of SMPN 1 Karangploso Malang.  The results show that in cycle 1, all aspects of auxiliary verbs including: to be, to do, to have, and modal were made in the error forms.  In average 81.2% students made errors.  In cycle 2, the errors decline into 25%.  In essence 75% of paragraph developed by students after learning protocols to correct the errors have limited errors in the auxiliary verbs.

 ABSTRACT            The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of Cooperative  Learning Time Token towards student’s learning activity and Communicative Competence in speaking English. This research uses Classroom Action Research procedures. The research consists of two cycles, each comprises four phases, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subject of the research is the students of SMK N 2 Temanggung semester 1 2019/2020. To get data, the writer uses Brown’s Scale of Test of Spoken English. While for students’ activities, the writer uses a set of observation sheet to observe the activity of the students in class. The research reveals that the uses of Time Token technique in English class has increased the students’ Learning activities from 68 % in Pre-cycle to 78% in cycle 1 and 80 % in cycle 2. The Communicative competence in speaking English has increased from 74 to 78 in cycle 1 and 81 in cycle 2Key words : Time Token, students’ activity and students’ communicative competence

This study is a classroom action research that focuses on the implementation of grammatical error analysis to improve students’ writing skill on recount text for students. The study conducted at SMA Tri Dharma Kosgoro Class X MIA that consisted of 25 students; 15 male and 10 female. Apart from implementing the grammar error analysis to enhance students’ writing skill, the researcher also identify some errors of students’ writing particularly on grammatical error and analyze some factors of these errors. The implementation of this research was in cycle I that consist of eight meetings.  Study shows that the implementation of grammatical error analysis can enhance the students’ understanding in writing recount text. This has been shown by the improvement of student’s score. Moreover,  the kinds of the students’ grammatical errors could be classified into seven categories namely errors in verb groups, errors in subject and verb agreement, errors in article, errors in pluralization, errors in conjunction, errors in preposition, and errors in pronoun. The identification of these type of grammatical error is paramount due to these could help students understand some components of grammar that students should master to improve their understanding in writing recount text.

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahuipeningkatan pengajaran Bahasa Inggris terlebih khusus dalamaspek Oral Competency dengan menggunakan pendekatankomunikatif atau Communicative Language Teaching Approach.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitiantindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research). Data dalampenelitian ini menggunakan analisa persentase. Responden dalampenelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 1 2017/2018 kelasGeneral English 4 parallel F di salah satu perguruan tinggi yangada di Sulawesi Utara, yang terdiri dari 31 mahasiswa.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, terdapat peningkatan padakemampuan berbicara (Oral Competency) mahasiswa pada tiaptiapcycle. Data menunjukkan bahwa pada pre-assessment (prapenilaian)kompetensi oral mahasiswa:Pada Pre-assesment: 0% (excellent), 45% (very good), 45% (good)10% (needs improvement).Pada cycle I: 3% (excellent),68% (very good), 26% (good), 3%(needs improvement).Pada cycle II: 10% (excellent), 48% (very good), 39% (good), 3%(need improvement).Pada cycle III: 10% (excellent), 48% (very good), 42% (good), 0%(need improvement).Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan pendekatankomunikatif melalui Communicative Language Teaching Approachmampu meningkatkan kompetensi oral mahasiswa GeneralEnglish 4 parallel F pada semester 1 2017/2018 di salah satuperguruan tinggi yang ada di Sulawesi Utara.Keywords: Oral Competency, Communicative Competence.

Education and Training is a form of institutional intervention so that employees have competency standards so that they are able to carry out their duties properly and appropriately. This study discusses the improvement of teacher competency in the implementation of scientific publications through Training in the Workplace (DDTK) Classroom Action Research (PTK). DDTK aims to improve the technical competence of civil servants and non-civil servants of the ministry of religion according to their duties and positions and develop insight into employee duties related to new regulations / policies / provisions, new technologies, or new knowledge relevant to their main tasks and functions. The main objective of Classroom Action Research (CAR) is the improvement and improvement of learning services. The population and sample of this study were participants of the Madrasah teacher training in the Workplace (DDTK) in Bangka, Belitung, and East Belitung Regencies in the 2016 and 2017. The study used multiple regression using Adjusted Square. Calculations for this multiple regression using SPSS statistical version 16 software. From the results of the research, it was found that the average of DDTK Bangka District Classroom Action Research (PTK) 2016 and 2017 were 51.41, and the average DDTK Class Action Research substance (PTK) Belitung Regency in 2016 and 2017 amounted to 50.39, with a difference in mean scores of 1.02. The average understanding of madrasah teachers in Bangka Regency 2016 and 2017 PTK writing was 118.20, and the average madrasah teacher understanding in Belitung Regency PTK writing in 2016 and 2017 was 118.88, with a mean difference of 0.68. The regression coefficient of the Education and Training Center (DDTK) variable (X2) has a positive sign (0.074), which means that the Education and Training Center (DDTK) variable has a positive influence on teacher understanding. The hypothesis which states that there is an effect of the Workplace Education Training (DDTK) substance on Classroom Action Research (CAR) on the understanding of madrasah teachers in writing PTK is statistically proven. Keywords: Training at Workplace, Classroom Action Research, Teacher's Understanding

This Collaborative Classroom Action Research aimed at enhancing students’ speaking skill through the application of Circle Game. It was conducted in one cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject was the seventh of C class of SMPN 2 Alas Barat consisting of 22 students. The types of data were qualitative (acquiring observation during the learning process) and quantitative (speaking tests). The results qualitatively showed that the implementation of Circle Game enhanced the students’ speaking skills. Such improvement could be seen from their enthusiasm, their interesting feeling in various materials presented by the teacher, their active involvement. In the quantitative findings, the result also showed a higher value of the mean score of the post-test (77.34) rather than the pre-test (75.75). In conclusion, the use of Circle Game can improve students’ speaking skill.

This study presents a research report on improving students’ Learning results on IPA through Video. The objective was to find out whether students’ learning result improved when they are taught by using Video. It was conducted using classroom action research method. The subject of the study was the Grade IV students of SDN 187/IV Kota Jambi which is located on Jln. Adi Sucipto RT 05 Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, and the number of the students were 21 persons. The instruments used were test. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the on fisrt sycle was 65,4 (42,85%) and the mean on cycle two was 68,5 (37,15%) and the mean of the third cycle was 81,4 (100%). Then it can be concluded that the use of video on learning IPA can improve the students’ learning result. It is suggested that teachers should use video as one of the media to improve students’ learning result on IPA.Keywords : IPA, students’ learning result, video

The background of this research is the incapacity of teachers in developing syllabi and lesson plan (RPP). This research is a classroom action research (CAR) at SMP 21 Ambon which aims to improve the competence of teachers in developing the syllabus through professional development with cooperative approach. The study was conducted in two cycles involving collaborators. These results indicated that the ability of teachers/participants in understand-ing of the syllabus and lesson plan (RPP) increased, from an average of 65.31% to 78.75%. The activity teacher/participants also increased which is marked by the increasing boldness of teachers in asking questions and raising such issues and increased cooperation of teachers in developing learning tools, especially for teachers in one subject cluster.Keywords : learning syllabus, lesson plans, Classroom Action Research (CAR).

This research is based on the low ability to write deductive paragraph, the average result of deductive paregrat writing ability obtained by students is 27,55 or with failure category. To improve the learning outcomes, the researcher performs improvement research by applying the drill merode. This research is a classroom action research conducted in class III C SD Negeri 006 Kubang Jaya, Kecamatan Siak Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar, this research is done in two cycles, using four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result of research stated that the ability of writing paragraphs and learning activities has increased, in cycle I the activity of teacher get score 28 (46,6%), in cycle II activity of teacher have increase with score 57 (95,00%), while in activity of sisswa in cycle I get score 1395 (80,20%), in cycle II student activity have increase with score 1478 (84,90%). The ability to write a deductive paragraph of students also experienced an increase, in the first cycle average writing ability of students is 43.89 with the category less, and in the second cycle average writing ability of students is 68.03 with enough category. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that the ability to write a paragraph deductive students class III C SD Negeri 006 Kubang Jaya, Kecamatan Siak Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar, increased after applied drill method.

Implementation of the 2013 curriculum is very different from the previous curriculum, there are still many obstacles that we know greatly affect the learning outcomes, both in terms of media used, the assessment in the 2013 curriculum is more complicated than the previous curriculum then the methods used to convey the learning materials that want to be taught not effective or even incompatible with the material to be conveyed. This research method is a classroom action research conducted in improving the learning process, with four meetings. The assessment taken in this study is an evaluation evaluation of each meeting in the form of attitudinal value, value of knowledge and skill value based on teacher's book on theme 4 "Healthy is Important" with sub theme 1 "Importance of Health and Environment". On the attitudes that appear attitude of self-confidence, curiosity and independence Already entrusted by 20.68% confidence, and curiosity while mandated 6.2% lower because students are still not familiar with the implementation of the curriculum 2013. Results of student knowledge seen the development in excellent value at the first meeting of 36.4%, at the second meeting decreased to 30.3%, while at the third meeting experienced a 52.25% increase again. While on the results of these students' skills on four meetings emerged every meeting with a very good category at the first meeting of 18.1%, at the second meeting increased to 27.3%, the third meeting decreased to 20.68%, while at the fourth meeting increased again by 65.62%.
