The deposits of the Kharkov suite of Paleogene of Belarus are the soils formed at the turn of existence and regression of the last sea basin and the final establishment of the continental situation in the territory of the country. They are widely spread in the south of the republic and lie mostly at depths of 100–110 m. In the southeast of Belarus, along the valleys of large rivers, these soils often reach the surface. The latter predetermined their active use as the foundations of structures. This is especially pronounced in the city of Gomel, where a wide development of territories is currently underway, within which these soils lie at depths of less than 10 m. The purpose of the work is to characterize the conditions for the distribution of the soils of the Kharkov suite of Paleogene within the southeast of Belarus and to study the characteristics of their composition and structure. The work is based on the results of the author's field and laboratory studies, which included a description of the outcrops, pits, and well cores; soil sampling; determination of their chemical and mineral, granulometric and microaggregate compositions, moisture characteristics for the classification of clay soils, as well as the results of statistical data processing. The paper presents the typification of the soil strata of the Kharkov suite of Paleogene of the southeast of Belarus, which allowed us to isolate three characteristic sites that differ in terms of their distribution, depth, thickness of the strata and composition of the soils. Nine granulometric sand and clay differences within the isolated areas were identified. The study of chemical-mineral and granulometric compositions of soils made it possible to identify their significant changes, both in area and in the section, which is caused by confinement to various facies zones, frequent migration of the coastline, long and uneven erosion and glacier-exaction destruction. The interrelation of the mineral composition, size and morphology of sandy soil particles is analyzed, it is noted that in all their varieties medium and fine sand fractions differ in the greatest mineral diversity.

Studying the historical facts of past wars and armed conflicts and natural and man-made emergencies, today in the Republic of Kazakhstan one of the most important security issues is the preparation and organization of the evacuation of the population from possible dangerous zones, taking into account the emergence of new threats to the country’s security. The paper presents an algorithm for constructing universal scales of the distribution function of opportunities by types of support and rebuilding them into subject scales using display functions. The purpose of the paper is to determine the integral indicators characterizing the possibility of accommodation of the evacuated population and the impact on resources during relocation. On the subject scales of cities and districts of the region, indicators of the possibility of relocation of a certain amount of the evacuated population by types of support and indicators characterizing the impact on the district’s resources during resettlement of a certain amount of the evacuated population are determined. It was concluded that the use of integrated indicators allows the selection of areas to accommodate the evacuated population without the use of statistical data, in conditions of incomplete and inaccurate information. The presented method does not replace traditional methods based on classical methods of territory assessment by the level of life sustenance, but also allows their reasonable combination with the experience of specialists in this field, taking into account the incompleteness, uncertainty, and inconsistency of the initial data of the study area, which does not allow the application of existing methods.

Disasters caused by natural phenomena or human activities often occur in the Republic of Bulgaria. Their social and economic consequences can have a significant adverse effect on the development of the country and its economic growth, therefore disaster risk reduction is very important for sustainable development. This paper presents an overview of the main natural and man-made hazards in Bulgaria. A descriptive analysis of the critical disasters in Bulgaria for the time periods of 2003-2008 and 2010–2016 is made. The survey is based on the classification of the hazards. Existing statistical data is reviewed and analysed and, as a consequence, recommendations are proposed.

Hármas-Koros river lies between the mouth of the Tisza and the city Békés. In the nineteenth century, the work of regulatory her bed was made, which resulted in 44 oxbow lakes were created, of which 36 still exist till today. In presented work 14 oxbow lakes was selected and the following objectives were carried out: 1. The classification of oxbow lakes based on selected criteria: the manner and intensity of water exchange, sediment thickness, redox potential, usage, ichtiofouna. 2. The assessment of the state of spawning and its impact on ichtiofauna. 3. Determination the best methods of water management in particular types of oxbow lakes, which could stop their further degradation. The obtained results led to the following conclusions: - Tested oxbow lakes belong to different categories - Anthropogenic factors had a negative effect on the conditions of fish reproduction and survival of their juvenile stages. - The management of fisheries was not a factor differentiating the individual water regions, but had an impact on the ecological status. - For the maintenance and/or improvement of the natural environment of the individual oxbow lakes significant impact may have fishery management, carried out in the following years.

We conducted a veterinary and sanitary examination of smoked fish sold by the retail network of the city of Ulan-Ude, the Republic of Buryatia. Organoleptic studies were carried out on five indicators such as appearance, color of the scaly cover, texture, taste and smell. Physicochemical studies determined the mass fraction of moisture in smoked fish. According to the results of laboratory studies, it was found that all 5 samples sold in the retail network of the city of Ulan-Ude corresponded to regulatory legal documents

Contemporary civilisation is inherently accompanied by diverse disasters, industrial accidents, infectious diseases and increasingly frequent terrorist attacks, especially those arising from religious beliefs. Those phenomena will unfortunately keep happening as civilisation and modern industrial branches develop, even though increasingly advanced protection means are developed and deployed. The risk of occurrence of unexpected emergencies connected with the use of chemical, biological or radiation substances requires constant hazards monitoring by the State Fire Service (SFS). The paper presents a review of statistical data pertaining to the SFS interventions with respect to the above mentioned types of hazards. The executed quantitative and qualitative analysis of potential hazards allowed determination of the most frequent hazards occurring on the territory of the Republic of Poland. The binding legal regulations provide that the SFS is the leading service for counteracting those hazards, and therefore it is of importance to monitor hazardous factors and to foresee any change trends. The review takes into account statistical data for chemical and radiological hazards from the years 2013-2017 and biological hazards in the years 2015-2017.

The results of updating the Cadastre of stationary anthrax-unfavorable points in the Russian Federation (2005) and the creation of databases for nine out of 11 subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District (in the Magadan Region and the Chukotka Autonomous District, anthrax was not officially registered) are presented, information on 1285 points has been updated, instead of 1089 previously recorded. For the period 1856–2008 according to official data and literary sources, 8346 heads of animals and 253 people fell ill in nine subjects. The largest share of sick animals (72.3 %) falls on the Republic of Buryatia, and people (45.1 %) — in the Zabaikalsky Territory. The years of manifestation of activity of 99.8 % of permanently unfavorable points for anthrax are known. Most of the new points were formed in 1890–1899 and 1930–1939. Anthrax on the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District was annually recorded from 1910 to 1989. The maximum epizootic activity was noted in the city of Blagoveshchensk in the Amur Region and in the village of Kyren in the Republic of Buryatia. Based on updated information on the former and renamed settlements in accordance with the territorial-administrative division of the country; specified locations of settlements, former collective and state farms, liquidated in the 90s of the twentieth century; data on years of activity, species and number of dead animals and sick people; Determination of the geographical coordinates of the SNP created a database of stationary anthrax-unfavorable points in six regions (Zabaikalsky, Kamchatka, Primorsky and Khabarovsk territories, Jewish Autonomous Okrug, Sakhalin and Amur regions.

ABSTRAKSungai Banjir Kanal Timur merupakan salah satu sungai besar yang dimiliki Kota Semarang. Sungai ini berfungsi dalam sistem drainase dan pengendalian banjir. Beberapa aliran sungai mengalir ke Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur dan berakhir di muara. Muara merupakan segmen yang akan menampung semua beban yang berasal dari sungai. Oleh karena itu, status trofik perairan di muara, khususnya Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur perlu dievaluasi dalam rangka pengelolaan lingkungan dan pemanfaatan sumberdaya alamnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama bulan Mei 2016 di muara Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur Semarang. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas air melalui status kesuburan perairan di muara Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur, berdasarkan metode Trophic State Index (Carlson, 1977) dan metode STORET dalam Kepmen LH No. 115 Tahun 2003 tentang Pedoman Penentuan Status Mutu Air dan PP RI No. 82 Tahun 2001 tentang Pengelolaan Kualitas Air dan Pengendalian Pencemaran Air. Variabel utama yang digunakan pada Analisis TSI Carlson adalah kandungan total N, total P, klorofil-a, dan kecerahan air (angka Secchi disk). Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan penentuan lokasi sampling bersifat purposive sampling. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis TSI (Carlson, 1977) berkisar 53 – 57. Kriteria TSI menunjukkan bahwa TSI TP < TSI SD > TSI CHL dan TSI TP > TSI SD > TSI CHL. Pendugaan interpretasi hubungan tersebut menjelaskan bahwa fosfor membatasi biomasa alga (rasio TN/TP lebih besar dari 33:1), dan nilai TSI Chl yang rendah disebabkan beberapa faktor lain selain fosfor seperti, pemangsaan oleh zooplankton, kandungan nitrogen, dan sebagainya yang sifatnya mengurangi biomasa algae. Di sisi lain, analisis (Indeks STORET) menggunakan Kepmen LH No. 115 Tahun 2003 tentang Pedoman Penentuan Status Mutu Air menghasilkan skor, yaitu -8. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesuburan perairan muara Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur, Semarang menurut TSI (Carlson 1977) berada pada status eutrofik ringan atau (Indeks STORET, Kepmen LH No. 115 / 2003) termasuk kategori perairan tercemar ringan. Kata Kunci : Status Mutu Perairan, Trophic State Index Carlson (1977),  Kepmen  LH No. 115 Tahun 2003, muara Sungai Banjir Kanal Timur Semarang. ABSTRACTEast Banjir Kanal River is one of the largest river owned by the city of Semarang. The river has a main function as drainage system and flood control of the city. Several streams flowing into the East Banjir Kanal River and end at the estuary. As estuary accommodates all loads from the river, therefore, the trophic status of waters in particular for East Banjir Kanal River needs to be evaluated in the context of environmental management and utilization of natural resources. This work was conducted during May 2016 in the estuary of East Banjir Kanal River. The objective was to determine river water quality using Trophic State Index by Carlson (1977) and the STORET method in the Decree of the Minister of Environment of The Republic of Indonesia (Kepmen LH) No. 115/2003 regarding Guideline for the Determination of Water Quality Status and The Government Regulation of The Republic of Indonesia No 81/2001 regarding Water Quality Management and Water Pollution Control. The main variables used in the analysis of Trophic State Index by Carlson, 1977 are total N, total P, chlorophyll-a and water clarity. Descriptive method is used to determine random sampling points. The average results of all stations analysed by means of Trophic State Index (Carlson, 1977) ranged from 53-57. The interpretation showed that TSI TP < TSI SD > TSI CHL and TSI TP > TSI SD > TSI CHL, these mean that phosphorus limit the biomass of algae (the ratio TN/TP larger than 33:1). Furthermore, lower TSI Chl values in all sampling point were due to several factors other than phosphorus, such as predatory zooplankton, nitrogen which worked to reduce algal biomass. The STORET analysis in the Decree of the Minister of Environment of The Republic of Indonesia (Kepmen LH) No. 115/2003 about Guideline for the Determination of Water Quality Status gives an overall score of  minus 8. It is concluded that by applying both methods, the estuary of the East Banjir Kanal, Semarang during the course of the study were on light eutrophic status and categorized as lightly polluted waters. Keywords:  Water Quality Status, Trophic State Index Carlson (1977), Decree of the Minister of Environment of The Republic Indonesia (Kepmen LH) No. 115/2003, Estuary of East Banjir Kanal River Semarang.

The authors describe the reasons for the destruction and the difficult process of restoring old stone churches built before 1917. The article notes the difference between these processes in the village and in the city. In the villages a large number of churches are in emergency condition, but continue to be operated as intended, i.e. for divine service. The article gives the classification of the causes for the destruction process of old rural churches. At the present time old temples usually destruct due to the lack of timely rehabilitation works. Recovery is hindered by the high cost of a comprehensive inspection and restoration. The work can be greatly reduced if the goal is not restoration, but conservation and prevention of an emergency condition. The authors come to the conclusion that the survey of rural churches as opposed to urban ones has the main goals: to determine the state category, to provide space in which the religious services may be held, for example, in the summer, and to provide materials for preservation of the part of the building, the operation of which is impossible. The problems of preservation of the architectural decor and restoration of items are not considered in such an inspection. Such a survey can be called “Express survey”. Express survey is conducted for a short time with a small group of specialists. The examination includes visual examination, thorough photographic images, study of the geological history of the area, interviews with the residents, description of the defects, which reduce the reliability of the building, recommendations for the strengthening of structures, conservation and monitoring frequencies. The works on measurement and determination of the strength of materials must be minimized. For more efficient operation, it is proposed to amend the regulations or create a separate document in addition to the known norms regulating the work using a rapid survey.

The article presents the main trends of internal irrevocable migration in the Republic of Belarus. The normative legal acts regulating the studied problems are considered, in particular, information is provided on the approval of the project “Village of the Future”; a development plan for regions lagging behind in socio-economic development; measures to promote the development of entrepreneurial activity in rural areas. The assessment of the existing internal migration flows in the Republic of Belarus over the past twenty years has been carried out by studying and analyzing official statistical data posted on the website of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus. The intensity coefficient of intra-republican migration is calculated, which allows determining the dynamics of the migration movement, regardless of changes in the population. In order to identify the position of a particular region and the city of Minsk relative to the country as a whole, calculations of the migration attractiveness index were carried out. The population movements between territorial units and in the directions (“city – city”, “city – village”, “village – city”, “village – village”) are analyzed. It is concluded that in the study period, migration flows from city to city prevail, and the outflow of population from village to city continues, but since 2016, the intensity of urban growth at the expense of the rural population has decreased, which is a new trend. Migration relations between the regions of the Republic of Belarus have been studied and analyzed, illustrations have been developed that clearly reflect the population flows within the country. Based on the analysis, the conclusion is formulated that internal migration in the Republic of Belarus has a centripetal character, since the main share of migration flows falls on the metropolitan-central region. It is revealed that this direction of internal migration flows correlates with the index of migration attractiveness (hereinafter-IMP). It is established that the population growth of the city of Minsk and the Minsk region occurs at the expense of all regions (Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno,Mogilev); in turn, the city of Minsk is also replenished at the expense of the population that originally arrived in the Minsk region. The author has recorded another trend – the migration increase to the capital has decreased over the past five years. Based on the results of the study, the author came to the conclusion that further work is needed to expand and consolidate the set of measures aimed at improving the socio-economic living conditions in the regions and rural areas.

Este trabalho teve como objetivo a caracterização dos aspectos sedimentares da planície costeira da praia do Iguape através da análise de dados estatísticos, levando em consideração, também os impactos socioambientais decorrentes do uso e ocupação. A área de estudo se encontra em Aquiraz, Região Metropolitana de Fortaleza (RMF). Historicamente o município começou a se evidenciar após a integração do município na RMF em 1973, onde passou a se destacar devido ao turismo. A faixa de praia do município possui aproximadamente 29 km de extensão, onde se encontram as praias do Batoque, Barro Preto, Iguape, Presídio, Prainha, Japão e Porto das Dunas. Para o alcance desses objetivos, a metodologia empregada foi dividida em levantamentos bibliográficos e documentais, a coleta de dados e a elaboração de material cartográfico. Diante disto obtivemos os resultados através da frequência simples, medidas de curtose, assimetria, média e mediana. Foi verificada a predominância de areia média e areia fina em todas as amostras, já os valores de assimetria e curtose apresentaram a predominância de aproximadamente simétrica com 67% e a predominância mesocúrtica (62%) e leptocúrtica (33%). Verificou-se que a dinâmica sedimentar foi caracterizada pela grande mobilidade sedimentar, mais perceptível na faixa de praia.Palavras-chave: Litoral de Aquiraz; Praia do Iguape; Dinâmica sedimentar. ABSTRACTThis study aimed to characterize the sedimentological settings of the coastal plain of Iguape beach through the statistical data, also taking into account the socioenvironmental impacts resulting from use and occupation. The study area is in Aquiraz, Região Metropolitana de Fortaleza (RMF). Historically the city began to show itself after the integration of the municipality in the RMF in 1973, where it began to stand out due to tourism. The Aquiraz is approximately 29 km long, where are the beaches of Batoque, Barro Preto, Iguape, Presidio, Prainha, Japan and Porto das Dunas. To achieve these objectives, the methodology employed was divided into bibliographic and documentary surveys, data collection and the preparation of cartographic material. We obtained the results through simple frequency, measures of kurtosis, skewness, mean and median. The predominance of medium sand and fine sand was verified in all samples, while the values of skewness and kurtosis were predominantly symmetrical with 67% and the predominance of mesocurtic (62%) and leptocurtic (33%). It was verified that the sedimentary dynamics was characterized by the great sedimentary mobility, mainly in the beach system.Keywords: Aquiraz Coastline; Iguape Beach; Sedimentary dynamics. RESUMENEl objetivo de este trabajo es la caracterización de los aspectos sedimentarios de la llanura costera de la playa de Iguape a través del análisis de datos estadísticos, teniendo en cuenta los impactos sociales y ambientales resultantes del uso y la ocupación. El área de estudio está en Aquiraz, Región Metropolitana de Fortaleza (RMF). Históricamente, el municipio comenzó a mostrarse después de la integración del municipio en el RMF en 1973, donde empezó a destacarse debido al turismo. La franja de playa del municipio tiene cerca de 29 km de largo, donde se encuentran las playas de Batoque, Barro Preto, Iguape, Presídio, Prainha, Japão y Porto das Dunas. Para alcanzar estos objetivos, la metodología utilizada fue las encuestas bibliográficas y documentales, la recolección de datos y la preparación de material cartográfico. Dado esto, obtuvimos los resultados mediante frecuencia simple, medidas de curtosis, asimetría, promedio y mediana. Podemos destacar el predominio de arena media y arena fina en todas las muestras, mientras que los valores de asimetría y curtosis mostraron el predominio de aproximadamente simétrica con 67% y el predominio de mesocúrtica (62%) y leptocúrtica (33%). Además, este trabajo buscó contribuir a una mejor comprensión de la dinámica sedimentaria del área, para comprender mejor la playa en cuestión.Palabras clave: costa de Aquiraz; Playa de Iguape; Dinámica sedimentaria.
