Classroom action research has been carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Salo in the subjects of Islamic Religion Education (PAI) with the object of research of class XI IPS 3 students in odd semester 2016/2017. This research was conducted in an effort to improve the PAI learning outcomes for students of class XI IPS 3. Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model was chosen to be applied after going through the results of observation and reflection conducted by researchers. Researchers plan actions based on the results of observations and reflections that have been made through the preparation of learning-based learning tools Teams Games Tournament (TGT) which consists of test questions, observation sheets and learning plans and other supporting learning tools. Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model consists of 3 main stages: knowing the material, working on the activity sheet, and playing academic games. This research can be completed in 2 cycles of 6 meetings and post tests at the end of each meeting. The results of the study which are observational data and recapitulation of results and recapitulation of learning completeness shows that there has been an increase in positive student learning activities in the classroom and an increase in the mean of the test and an increase in classical completeness of cycle 1 with cycle 2. The average pre-action score is 42.72 (enough) The average value in cycle 1 is 51.84 (enough). The average score in cycle 2 was 76.16 (good). The activity of students during the learning process was observed by observers as data for evaluation and reflection. The recapitulation of the average test and the completeness of the study was obtained from the post test scores of cycles I and II. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Tams Games Tournament (TGT) strategy in class XI IPS 3 of SMA Negeri 1 Salo is able to improve the learning outcomes of PAI subjects (Islamic Education) as indicated by the average test and classical completeness in each cycle.

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes using the cooperative learning model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) on ecosystem material in SMA Negeri 6 Pematangsiantar. This research was conducted on February-March 2019 in class X (1st) SMA Negeri 6 Pematangsiantar. The population in this study was class X SMA Negeri 6 Pematangsiantar with 9 classes. The sampling method is Cluster Random Sampling, and get class X-1 as an experimental class and class X-5 as a control. The results of the analysis of the mean value of the pre-test of the control class = 38.38, the experimental class = 52.66 and the average value of the post-test of the control class = 59.75, the experimental class = 79.66. The results of the standard deviation analysis of the control class pretest = 13,886, the experimental class = 9,468 and the posttest standard deviation of the control class = 14,458, the experimental class = 6,454. The results of the hypothesis analysis (t test) were obtained t-count = 6.985 and t-table =1.99. Based on the results of research and analysis it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) type is better for improving learning outcomes compared to conventional learning on ecosystem material in class X SMA Negeri 6 Pematangsiantar

This study aims to find out: (1) Describe the learning activities of students in social studies subjects using the CTL (Contextual Teaching And Learning) model with picture media. (2) Improving social studies learning outcomes using the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model with picture media. The type of research used by researchers is Classroom Action Research (CAR). With the subjects in this study were all fifth grade students of SDN 6 in the Lower Strait of Kuala Kapuas, totaling 17 students, 10 men and 7 women. Data collection techniques in this study used a written test at the end of the learning process and observation to find out the activity during the learning process. The data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study showed that: (1) Learning activities of students in social studies learning using the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model in class V of SDN 6 in the Lower Kapat Kuala Kapuas became good. In the first cycle, the activities of the students obtained a score of 36 with an average rating of 2.57 with quite good criteria. In Cycle II the activities of students received an average score of 53.5 with an average score of 3.82 with suitable measures. (2) There is an increase in learning outcomes of students in social studies learning using the CTL model (Contextual Teaching and Learning) in the fifth grade of SDN 6 in the Lower Straits of Kuala Kapuas. In the pre-test, it can be seen that the percentage of the results is 23.53% (4 people), the students who complete and the students who do not complete 70.48% (12 people) with an average value of 50. The results obtained in the first cycle are the percentage results learners reach 70.59% (12 people) students complete and 23.53% (5 people) students who do not complete with an average value of 72. In cycle II, the acquisition of student learning outcomes is 100% (17 people) who complete with an average score of 91. There is an increase in social studies learning outcomes from pre-test to cycle I which is as much as 47.06% while from cycle I to cycle II there is an increase in learning outcomes which is as much as 29.41%. It can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes by using the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model in the fifth grade of SDN 6 in the Lower Strait of Kuala Kapuas.
