Online learning has become a prevailing trend among adult learners. Therefore, this study investigated the learning time preference and the relationship between the course completion and learning activities among adult learners based on data from one online learning platform. Results indicate that a periodical fluctuation of participating online course study exists among adult learners. Additionally, the activity of posting on the discussion board is a main learning activity factor that influences their online course completion. It is expected that this study would help online learning system designers, education administrators and instructors to better understand the characteristics of adult learners and their learning activities to provide better accessibility and flexibility in online learning environments for them.

<p><em>The implementation of learning activities in schools has undergone a very big change with the covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, learning activities that were initially carried out face-to-face in schools were replaced with online learning or commonly known as online learning. This change certainly has a serious impact on the systems and techniques of implementing educational activities in Indonesia, especially in school learning activities. The pros and cons of course become a natural thing when there is a change in policy. Online learning is not only technically problematic, but the essence or purpose of learning has not really been tested for its effectiveness in the online learning system. This study uses descriptive qualitative research that describes tutoring services in reducing students' learning difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results showed that the barriers to online learning were parents of ignorant students, internet access, difficulty understanding the material, feeling lazy and having difficulty concentrating. The solutions are: making online learning media systems, communicating with parents, making learning summaries, giving assignments that encourage students to be active.</em></p>

The covid-19 pandemic affect a number of sectors, including the education services. To support the education sustainability and participate in breaking the chain of covid-19 transmission, the learning activity in SMK Negeri 2 Depok was modified to comply the social distancing policy. Teaching and learning activities conducted at the respective student's location via online media. This study aims to describe the implementation of online learning activities to describe the implementation of online assessment, and to determine the effectiveness of online learning activities in SMK Negeri 2 Depok during the covid-19 pandemic. Google classroom applications was employed for classroom management including making announcements related with learning activities, giving subject matters, delivering and collecting student assignments. Based on overall online activities, so it can be concluded that the implementation of online learning in SMK Negeri 2 Depok was effective.  Keywords: effectiveness, google classroom

This paper is a continuation of the first paper whereby the history of distance learning, the positives and negatives of online learning, advantages and disadvantages of online learning, and the initial considerations for establishing online courses.

In the situation of a pandemic novel COVID-19 throughout the world forced all changes in the order of activities that exist in society, one of which is in teaching and learning activities. As a solution to learning activities at the moment everything must be implemented online, both students and instructors are forced to adapt to the online learning system . This sudden change often causes problems related to learner's behavior. This study tries to observe student behavior towards learning activities that are forced to be done from home with the principle approach of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The research respondents numbered 93 people and the elearning system tested was the use of learning media with whatsapp, LMS Moodle, zoom meeting and its combination. The results of this study can provide recommendations in distance learning in the future.

Global pandemic forces teachers and students for studying from home. Many platforms can be used for substituting offline learning to online learning. Optimalization digital learning platform is one of ways to adjust learning activities in the pandemic. This article aims to elaborate optimalization digital platform for online learning among teachers in Abi Ummi school. The research uses qualitative and netnography approach for understanding how to optimize online learning in the pandemic. The result shows that social media can be one of digital platform for online learning. The most digital platfom used by Abi Ummi teachers are Google Classrom as learning management system, Youtube and Instagram as material contents shared, and Whatsapp and Telegram as media messengers for discussing the material.

Given the intensified number of online learning activities and having inadequate knowledge to identify the details of how it was organized within increased students’ language learning ability; this study focused on identifying the students’ perceptions of learning in two different situations. This study investigated how students perceived working in a new learning mode (online learning activity) compared to the traditional or face-to-face learning mode (offline learning activity) in regards to the learning frameworks, including the depth and comprehensiveness of learning, appropriate length for learning, comfortability of learning, and flexibility of learning. Ten students were selected to be the participants of the current study; all of whom were sixth and eighth semester students at the Department of English Language Education of Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. They were served by several questions related to their experiences working on two different learning modes. The findings revealed that working in offline learning mode was still the common preference among the students and only a few of them preferred online learning. Even more interesting was the finding of one or two students who perceived no differences between participating in offline and online class learning activities. In addition, the findings also indicated that interaction between the course instructors and students still becomes a prominent element on the students’ satisfaction and comfort of learning. The students also suggested that the keys to their satisfactory learning experiences are access to learning materials and to their class instructors. To conclude, this study also provides new insights on what matters the most to the students’ learning experiences with respect to the current online learning trend.

ABSTRAKPandemi covid- 19 telah mengubah berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia saat ini, khususnya dalam dunia pendidikan. Sistem pembelajaran yang harus dilaksanakan secara daring di rumah masing-masing siswa. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut beberapa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tidak dapat dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan, manfaat, dan kendala kegiatan belajar seni tari anak-anak Desa Sendangagung pada masa pandemi covid- 19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran tari di Desa Sendangagung dapat mengembangkan bakat dan minat anak dalam bidang tari. Melalui tari anak juga dilatih untuk mengenal dan mencintai budaya tari terutama tari daerah. Anak dilatih untuk tetap berkarya selama masa pandemi dan dapat melestarikan tari. Proses belajar tari memiliki kendala mengenai hasil akhir latihan yaitu pementasan yang dilaksanakan secara virtual. Kesulitan anak dalam memperagakan gerakan tari dan menyesuaikan tempo antara gerakan dan iringan tari merupakan kendala dalam proses latihan tari. Namun,  pelatih mempunyai cara tersendiri dalam mengatasi kesulitan anak dalam belajar tari.  Kata Kunci: pandemi covid- 19, pembelajaran daring, seni tari ABSTRACT The Covid-19 pandemic has changed various aspects of human life today, especially in the world of education. A learning system that must be implemented online at each student's home. Based on these conditions some extracurricular activities cannot be carried out. This study aims to analyze the implementation, benefits, and constraints of the children of Sendangagung village's dance learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. The methods used in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that learning dance in Sendangagung Village could develop children's talents and interests in dance. Through dance, children are also trained to know and love dance culture, especially regional dance. Children are trained to keep working during the pandemic and can preserve dance. The process of learning dance has problems regarding the end result of the exercise, namely the performance which is carried out virtually. The difficulty of children in demonstrating dance movements and adjusting the tempo between movements and dance accompaniment is an obstacle in the dance practice process. However, coaches have their own way of overcoming children's difficulties in learning dance. Keywords : COVID-19 pandemic, online learning, the art of dance

The DialogPLUS Toolkit is a web-based application that guides the design of learning activities. Developed to support the project’s geographers, it incorporates well-researched pedagogic taxonomies that are presented as drop-down lists with associated ‘help’ pages. Toolkit users are encouraged to consider and specify factors including learning and teaching approach, environment, aims and outcomes, assessment methods, learner and tutor roles and requisite skills as they design any number of tasks within a learning activity and select the tools and resources needed to undertake them. The output from the toolkit is a design template that can then be used to guide the instantiation and implementation of online learning activities. The designs are saved within the toolkit, forming a database of designs, which other toolkit users can view. This chapter will present the rationale for the toolkit and the detailed taxonomies. It will describe and illustrate the software design, development and implementation, including the approach to contextual ‘help’, provide examples of learning activity designs created using the toolkit; and present and discuss feedback from users.

This article aims to describe the impact of teaching and learning activities using an online learning system during the Covid 19 pandemic at SDN 3 Sriminosari, Labuhan Maringgai District. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, data collection is done by interview, documentation and observation. The results showed that the impact of teaching and learning activities with the online learning system during the Covid 19 period led to increased parental concern for children in accompanying learning activities and breaking new clusters of the spread of Covid 19, but this was not matched by good children's learning outcomes this was due to not all teachers and parents of students are able to operate technology, weak internet networks, unstable public financial conditions, no moral guidance from teachers, and the material presented is very unattractive to students. The expected positive impact of this article as a media of information requires that it is necessary to be prepared to implement an online learning system by paying attention to supporting facilities and infrastructure; and socialization of applications used in learning activities so that all users can use them well.

This pilot case study sought to investigate patterns of interactions between learners and their instructor in a teacher education course called “Computer Science for Teachers”. This course was constructed to leverage aspects of open world game design elements in order to investigate the effects of degrees of autonomy in gameplay/learning. This course was conducted in a specially built social learning platform based on Elgg software. Student interactions with the instructor and other students in this course were analyzed to determine the learning networks students constructed during each key learning activity as well as the epistemic spaces defined by these interactions. Descriptive statistics along with social network analysis (SNA) and epistemic network analysis (ENA) were used to investigate these data. The findings indicate that more traditional/less open world gaming type learning activities were associated with learning networks and epistemic spaces that were teacher-centered and narrower, while more open world gaming/high levels of autonomy (student-centric) learning activities were associated with learning networks that were highly decentralized and epistemic spaces that featured students asking and answering questions of/for one another. These findings were consistent with existing research into player behavior in open world type games and learner behavior in settings with high levels of autonomy support. Implications for further research are discussed.
