Health and safety has been known as one of the requirements in carrying out tasks and a form of human rights factor for workers in carrying out work activities. Lack of awareness and concern for K3 resulted in the existence of work risks, namely the presence of accidents that occur in welding activities carried out on the maintenance of tugboats carried by PT. Margasurya Shipindo like being hit by welding sparks, slipping, touched by hot iron which causes injury to workers. Therefore the purpose of this study is to identify and classify potential hazards, and control risks in work activities at PT. Marga Suryashipindo. Hazard analysis of risk in this study used the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. Based on the results of observations and interviews with 3 maitenance workers and 1 maintenance coordinator, there were 22 potential hazards. Based on the risk assessment, the risk level values were not with the HIGH category, 10 risks were MEDIUM category and 12 risk were LOW category. Control of the above risks is to use APD with the standards of welding workers, carry out administrative controls in the form of the application of SOP welding and K3 supervision to evaluate work activities. In addition, Engineering control is also carried out in the form of holding lift aids and doing maintenance on a regular basis, procuring toolsbox, and arranging tools and materials in the welding location.

Indonesian Navy ships (KAL) is one element of the Integrated Fleet Weapon System (SSAT), which plays an important role in carrying out tasks in the defense field. So, we need an optimal KAL readiness to support the passage of the operation to be carried out successfully and smoothly. One of the ways used to prepare KAL is to carry out routine maintenance through the docking process. However, in practice there are accidents suffered by workers. This research was conducted using the HIRARC method. HIRARC is a method of hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control measures that are used for this method is considered moreappropriate and more accurately where the dangers that arise in the process described docking of any work activity. In this method also provides appropriate control measures for each hazard. Based on the results of the HIRARC analysis, each suction work activity of docking based Risk Ranking will be sorted according to the level of Risk Matrix and will be discussed further against high risks and implemented controls. Then the resulting draft recommendation to minimize workplace accidents in the docking process is by way of elimination, Administration Control and Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Keywords: HIRARC method, Docking process, KAL.

This study focused on evaluating the concepts of risk assessment associated with unsafe acts according to hazard identification at Gaili Area, Khartoum North, Sudan. Approaches used in this study; Research tools: Interviews, definite questionnaire & computer program for descriptive statistics – statistical package for social science (SSPS/version 22 – 2014). The study of risk assessment is conducted for workers in fuel terminals at Gaili area and analyzed using environmental health and safety concepts for eight jobs. Risk is associated with Job (driver, electrician, pump attendant, etc.), after hazards to be identified (natural, environmental, technological, biochemical, etc.). Fuel truck drivers at Gaili area showed the most highly risk job. The result showed that 60% of the incidents were caused by the hydrocarbon fuel transport drivers at the study area as the most highly risk job, followed by the electricians being the most affected job by electrical shocks during working hours followed by the pump attendants then welders followed by mechanics; including fatalities, restricted work activities, injuries, first aid and property damage. The study recommended to formulate of temporary committees such as autumn committee is not efficient in solving the problem, HSE steering committee should be a permanent committee to direct the emergency planning according to risk based assessment for identified hazards.

Introduction: Management of occupational health and safety is an integrated effort to manage the risks involved in company activities that can resulted in human injury, damage or disruption to the company's business is divided into three parts, namely Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) aims to identify potential hazards in the workplace by linking workers, tasks, work equipment and the work environment. The purpose of this study was to identify occupational accident risk then assess the level of occupational accident risk at PT. IKI Makassar in 2020 and how to control it. Methods: The research is qualitative. The approach used in this research is a quasi-qualitative approach. The technique used is observation, in-depth interview) and documentation continuously throughout the study to analyze further about risk identification and control that can be done in the marking process at PT. IKI Makassar. Prior to qualitative research, the risk management process was measured using the HIRARC. The informants in this study were divided into three, that are key informants is the inspector K3, regular informants (part of production process management and knowing the flow of the marking production process), and supporting informants (the workers who work in part of the marking production process) at PT. IKI Makassar. Results: From the results of the study using the HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) table, it was found that the highest potential hazards and risks were found in the marking process in cutting plates where the most frequent potential hazards such as slipping, falling, slicing and scratching. The conclusion of this research is the Potential dangers contained in the marking process at PT. Makassar IKI covers mechanical hazards in the marking area, ie pinched, dropped, scratched, sliced, knocked and crushed.
