The article deals with the specific aspects of the formation of spirituality, morality and patriotic feelings in children of primary school age. Spirituality, morality, and patriotic feelings are unchangeable universal values that may sound different, but their semantic content is identical among different peoples. The formation of these values is possible already in primary school age. It is spiritual and moral education that sets the attitudes that affect the essence of human relationships. The personality becomes spiritually richer through the introduction of children of the first stage of education to spiritual and moral values, through the formation of an attitude to themselves and to other people, to the surrounding world as a value, the development of the consciousness of the younger student and his spiritual qualities. The formation of moral qualities in students of primary school age will be more productive when creating a number of pedagogical conditions, since they are the most manageable, aimed at forming a certain kind of relationship. The analysis of theoretical sources gives us a reason to conclude that the problem of the spirituality of the individual occupies one of the central places in the system of knowledge about a person, and has repeatedly become the object of research by philosophers, psychologists and teachers. In order to identify the pedagogical conditions for the formation of spirituality, morality and patriotic feelings in younger schoolchildren by determining the level of formation of these qualities in students, a study was conducted in MBOU Secondary School No. 20 in Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol Territory. The authors identified the criteria of educational work on the formation of patriotic feelings and determine the stages of patriotic education in children of primary school age.

The article addresses the problem of the negative impact of the irregular use of electronic information carriers on primary school pupils’ psychophysical development. Foreign researches and WHO data on the allowed time of use of information devices for children and teenagers, their impact on heath, speech and motor development of the younger generation are presented. The concept “information device” is defined, the main contradictions of the active use of information devices by children are described which are resulted, on the one hand, from the impossibility of education and socialisation of the younger generation apart from electronic information devices, and, on the other hand, due to their negative impact on children’s health and psychophysical development. The choice of the age group for the study is substantiated – the primary school age, at which psychophysical and psychosocial changes take place, significant for the entire subsequent period of a child’s schooling. It is emphasised that at this age period children’s computer dependence has not yet formed, even a positive effect of the use of a computer on the mental development of a primary school pupil is noted. At the same time, the use of information devices in the education and leisure of primary school pupils requires a proper organisation of their educational work, balance of various activities, formation of pupils’ conscious behaviour, which will contribute both to the education of the child and his / her proper psychophysical development. The content of the experimental research work, which was carried out at the elementary grades of schools in Odessa region involving second-third-grade pupils and their parents, is described. The results of the surveys represented by pupils and their parents, pedagogical observations, assessment of pupils’ performance, the characteristics of their speech and motor development have shown an increase in the time allotted to children to work with information devices and the negative impact of their irregular use on the psychophysical development of primary school children.

The article deals with the activities of Diaspora organizations as a potential subject of adaptation of children from migrant families in the Russian socio-cultural environment. The work is based on the materials of Diaspora organizations and schools with ethno-cultural component. Migration strategies are correlated with the four main models of migration policy – assimilation, segregation, marginalization and integration. According to the authors ' findings, the priority for Diaspora organizations is to establish the preservation of the ethnic identity of migrant children, rather than their adaptation to the Russian civil society. There is also a priority orientation to the States of immigration departure in educational and educational work with young people, while the orientation to the Russian Federation is secondary, and in some cases – the attitude to it is built through latent hostility. The authors associate the way out of the conflict with the integration model of migration policy, which implies the formation of a two-level identity system for migrants. Despite the obvious role potential of Diaspora organizations in the adaptation of migrant children as an independent research problem, this topic has not been directly raised in the national scientific literature, which necessitates scientific work in this area.
