The purpose of this research is to reveal the reality of media education in secondary education schools in Riyadh, from the teachers' point of view. To achieve the aims of the research, descriptive design and the questionnaire were used as a tool for research. It was distributed to a random sample of (30) female high school teachers was distributed in the city of Riyadh in the academic year 1440- 1441 AH. The results of the research showed: Obtaining the reality of media education in secondary education schools in the city of Riyadh at a total average of (2.77 out 3), With a degree (large), and at the level of fields; the field of the importance of teaching media education got the highest overall average of (2.85), followed by the field of obstacles to applying media education with an average of (2.78), and finally the field of media education concept with an average (2,67) All of them are (large), According to the results, proposals and Recommendations were presented to remove obstacles and awareness of the importance of teaching media education.

The study aims to evaluate the awareness level regarding the importance of medical survey among a sample of school teachers in public and the private sectors. The study has investigated the presence of Otolaryngologic diseases including Dysphonia among teachers. A cross-sectional sample was selected from different parts of Jeddah city to enroll the elementary, intermediate, and the high school teachers. There were more than 800 schools; however, the study has selected 26 schools only. The study was conducted during the academic year of 2014. The awareness about medical survey among public awareness is of paramount importance in the detection, management, and planning of health related problems. The study has depicted less than acceptable participation from the school teachers regarding the awareness and management of health problems, and more efforts have to be made to educate the public sectors about the importance of the medical survey.

The academic year 2019/20 is marked by the arrival at university of students born in the new millennium. When this generation of students began to ‘learn grammar’ at school, teachers and other specialists were debating the terminology for basic and secondary education and the place of grammar in the curriculum was changing. In this article, we propose to contribute to a description of the knowledge about language to which millennials had access, more than a decade after the Terminological Dictionary (DT) became official (DGE, 2008). Assuming that there is a prescribed curriculum and a real curriculum, we start from the question what is the place of grammar in the curriculum to offer a comparative analysis of the discourse prescribed for the teaching of grammar in official curricular documents approved between 2000/01 and 2019/20. From this analysis, we present an empirical study assessing the grammatical knowledge in European Portuguese of 65 students entering higher education in 2019/20. For this study, we used a diagnostic instrument, assessing knowledge of different grammatical topics, mainly in the domains of morphology and syntax. The results obtained, which update data from previous studies on students’ difficulties in grammar learning, suggest that terminological standardization and changes in the prescribed curriculum have not solved all the problems in the teaching of grammar.

A problemática deste trabalho consiste em investigar o desenvolvimento da aula expositiva de Geografia, em escolas públicas de Teresina-PI. Especificamente, buscou-se caracterizar os modelos de aulas expositivas de Geografia; caracterizar a aula expositiva de Geografia desenvolvida pelos professores do Ensino Médio; analisar como o professor usa a linguagem nas aulas expositivas de Geografia e, por último, debater uma proposta de sequência didática que promova a interatividade na aula de Geografia. Trata-se de um estudo de natureza qualitativa. Do ponto de vista teórico-conceitual, o estudo foi desenvolvido com base nos seguintes eixos: primeiramente, considera as reflexões sobre a aula expositiva, tanto na perspectiva tradicional quanto na perspectiva dialógica. Em segundo lugar, focaliza a aula na prática docente em Geografia. E, em terceiro lugar, sublinha o papel da linguagem para o aperfeiçoamento da aula de Geografia. A partir deste quadro de referência, o texto está estruturado em sete seções, compreendendo a Introdução, caminhos metodológicos e três seções teóricas, uma de análise e uma propositiva. Ensino de Geografia. GEOGRAPHY LESSON IN SECONDARY EDUCATION: the legacy of tradition to renewal of possibilities ABSTRACT The problem of this study is to investigate the development of lecture of geography in public schools in Teresina-PI. Specifically, we sought to characterize the models of lectures of Geography; characterize the lecture of Geography developed by high school teachers; analyze how the teacher uses the language in lectures of Geography and finally discuss a proposed didactic sequence that promotes interactivity in geography class. This is a qualitative study. From the theoretical and conceptual point of view, the study was developed based on the following principles: first, considers the reflections on the lecture, both in traditional perspective as the dialogical perspective. Second, the class focuses on teaching practice in geography. And thirdly, it emphasizes the role of language for the improvement of Geography class. From this frame of reference, the text is structured in seven sections, comprising the Introduction, methodological paths and three theoretical sections, one of analysis and one propositive. This research aims to identify the role of management method by goals in the effectiveness of organizations, including universities in the city of Sulaymaniyah from the point of view of administrative leaders, and the research community was in the Faculties of Administration and Economics at the Sulaymaniyah University and Human Development and the College of Administrative Technology at Sulaymaniyah Technical University for the academic year 2019-2020, and used The two researchers were an intentional sample, and they used the questionnaire as a tool to collect data. The main purpose of the research was to figure out which was the level of comprehension of the didactic concepts that the students of the Secondary Education Master of the University of Alicante of the academic year 2011/12 had. With this purpose, we have collected the information provided by the answers of 227 students to an ad-hoc-elaborated semi-structured questionnaire whose data have been treated with a quantitative methodology using the SPSS.19 device. The statistic techniques were descriptive, differential and correlational. In this analysis, we take into account the scores obtained by students in variables related to their learning process and their attitudes towards it. The most interesting results prove that the students don’t master the basic didactic concepts in a satisfactory way, there are differences between the levels of comprehension and other variables related to the learning of the concepts and with attitudinal variables of this learning. The research based on these results indicates the need to focus the teaching and learning processes of the Master from a different point of view and combining the strategies which enhance the understanding of these concepts by the students. This study was conducted to determine the organizational silence perceptions of teachers who work in public high schools in the Bağcılar district, Istanbul province of Turkey, and to specify whether they differ according to different variables. The survey model was used in the study. The research was performed with 323 teachers working in vocational high schools in the Bağcılar district of Istanbul in the 2017-2018 academic year. In the study, the random sampling method was employed. The "Personal Information Form" and "Organizational Silence Scale" were used as data collection tools. In the research, descriptive statistics, the independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and the Kruskal-Wallis test were performed. The general organizational silence perceived by vocational high school teachers was found to be "low." It was revealed that the perceived organizational silence of vocational high school teachers did not vary by gender, educational level, professional seniority, subject, and union membership, while the perceived general organizational silence varied depending on age.

Kegiatan bimbingan penggunaan metode Z-Score untuk menentukan ranking peserta didik ini merupakan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang ditujukan bagi guru-guru di Kota Palangkaraya.  Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru sekolah menengah terkait dalam kemampuan menyusun ranking peserta didik secara adil.  Metode pembimbingan dilaksanakan dengan metode pelatihan/workshop yaitu melalui kegiatan ceramah, diskusi, dan praktek.  Kegiatan pembimbingan dilakukan dalam dua tahapan yaitu: tahap pertama berupa pembimbingan peserta secara teoritis mengenai konsep metode Z-Score dan tahap kedua berupa praktek latihan menyusun ranking dengan metode Z-Score. Temuan yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan guru-guru SMP maupun SMA di kota Palangka Raya, ternyata 90% dari 20 orang guru yang hadir sebelumnya menggunakan metode simple rank dalam menentukan ranking peserta didik.  Mengingat penentuan ranking peserta didik dilakukan untuk berbagai materi berbeda dalam satu semester atau satu tahun pelajaran maka yang lebih tepat dan adil adalah dengan menggunakan metode Z-Score.  Kegiatan pembimbingan berlangsung dengan lancar dan sesuai dengan perencanaan kegiatan pembimbingan.  Guru yang hadir merasa antusias dalam memperoleh pembimbingan yang membuka pengetahuan dan wawasan baru dalam mengimplementasikan teknik penilaian di sekolah.  Hasil kegiatan praktik sangat memuaskan.  LKP (Lembar Kegiatan Peserta) yang dipraktekkan dapat diselesaikan dengan baik dan benar. This guidance activity for using the Z-Score method to determine student rankings is a community service activity aimed at teachers in Palangkaraya City. This activity aims to improve the professionalism of secondary school teachers in their ability to rank students fairly. The guidance method is carried out by the training/workshop method, namely through lectures, discussions, and practices. Guidance activities are carried out in two stages: the first stage in guiding participants theoretically regarding the Z-Score method and the second stage in the form of practising ranking exercises using the Z-Score method. The findings obtained from interviews with junior high and high school teachers in Palangka Raya city show that 90% of the 20 teachers who attended previously used the simple rank method in determining the ranking of students. Considering that students' ranking is carried out for different materials in one semester or one academic year, what is more, appropriate and fair is to use the Z-Score method. Guidance activities take place smoothly and following the planning of mentoring activities. Teachers who were present were enthusiastic about obtaining guidance that opened up new knowledge and insights in implementing school assessment techniques. The results of practical activities are very satisfying. The practised LKP (Participant Activity Sheet) can be completed correctly and adequately.

Stress is unavoidable part of life due to increasing workload and complexities in daily life. Now-a-days the world is said to be world of achievement is a world of stress. Stress is anywhere and everywhere, weather it is in family, friends, business, institute or society. Right form birth to death, each and every individual exposed to stress. Each profession causes a specific level of stress. Teaching is also one of the stressful professions like many other professions.  In the educational process, the female teachers in teaching profession have increased. A female high school teacher is usually burdened with multiple roles and responsibilities. Female teachers are more vulnerable to stress as stress is caused by many factors including poor working conditions, scarcity of resources, heavy workloads and lack of administrative and family support system. As a result of these stressful aspects of teaching, stress can have negative effects on teacher’s physical, emotional, behavioral and mental well being. The main objective of this paper is to work out stress among female high school teachers of Haryana. Researcher has made all attempts to critically examine the studies conducted in the field of stress.
